Hi, I’m Anna, welcome back to my channel. Today’s opening isn’t anything special. I ‘m outside in Gukeng. Why did we come to Gukeng? It’s because we recently made a plan to climb the Hundred Peaks. Mr. Chen looked it up and said that the easiest Hundred Peaks in Taiwan is at Hehuan East Peak , so we decided to head to Hehuan East Peak . This time, we’re taking our family of five , from the youngest 3 to the oldest 70, on a Hundred Peaks climb. We’ve actually been planning this for a month, but we never expected it to start raining like crazy recently . So, if it’s pouring rain, would you still climb? I definitely would. We brought raincoats and other gear this time because We’re going to climb Hehuan East Peak , and along with this itinerary, we’ll also visit Cingjing Farm. I’ve also done a lot of research for this trip , planning delicious restaurants and fun attractions. I think this trip, although a bit inconvenient due to the rain , should be quite fun . Will we be successful? Let’s wait and see. We ‘ll stop in Puli for lunch , because driving directly to Cingjing takes a while. It takes about three hours from Kaohsiung to Cingjing , but it only took us about two hours driving here. I saw rave reviews online about the restaurant we had lunch at . It has a camping-style feel, which I found quite interesting. This restaurant was the first one we ate at on this trip, with everything from the color palette to the decor to the lighting. We ordered the No. 4 short ribs, which everyone online praised as delicious. The sauce was very rich, especially the garlic sauce. We all loved the meat, which was tendon-rich and had a chewy texture. For the price, we thought it was well worth it. The white sauce bacon risotto was the cheapest meal we ordered, but my kids loved it. My personal favorite was the tender chicken rice with pesto sauce. The basil flavor was very rich. I’m a real basil fan. There’s no way to refuse it. The only flaw is that although the chicken is made of fat , it’s really not very tender. The beef in this truffle-fried beef risotto is actually more tender than the beef short ribs main course, so if you like the truffle flavor, just order this. I arrived at the place where we will stay tonight. The photo of the room I saw shows the mountain peaks from the balcony. It’s very beautiful , but because it was pouring rain all the way when we came, now all we see is a sea of clouds. After a short rest, it ‘s dinner time again. As expected, when we go out to play, we just eat, eat, and eat . After all, we are going to climb 100 mountains tomorrow, so we have to eat well today to have the energy! We had dinner at a Yunnan restaurant. I originally thought I’d try some local food in Cingjing , but I discovered there were so many Yunnan restaurants here. I looked it up later and found out that many veterans of the Burma-Dun retreat came here. Have you ever had Sichuan crispy pork with a Thai-style sauce? Actually, Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles should be a large plate , and we can put the noodles in ourselves, but that might be safer this way because we can ensure it’s cooked. We’ve both been to Yunnan before, and Yunnan cuisine left a deep impression on us. It’s very refreshing and perfect for summer . But today was super cold , and it seemed like we were the only table in the restaurant. The quality was excellent because it was raining heavily. If the weather was good, this restaurant would be a restaurant with a view , with views of the peaks, but that doesn’t matter. Today’s beauty is different. Mom, I love you. He said, “Don’t edit the photos I took .” Is it edible? It tastes like a five-star restaurant, which is beyond my imagination. The crust is very crispy , and the inside is tender. It feels very shabby. There is not even a turntable. Teacher Chen used his hands to turn it and forgot to use it. I don’t think it is very authentic (taste) , but it (the restaurant) makes it this way so that even people who don’t eat spicy food can enjoy this delicacy. I didn’t expect this dish to be so big. I have never eaten this dish before. It is… I thought it would have cheese when it was pulled up. If Koreans made this dish, the cheese would be very crispy. I think it is a child’s taste , but if it really has mayonnaise and cheese, I think it would be more delicious. Then add some seaweed powder. Let me show you. The scene after the meal was a mess. Only the rice was not finished. A small summary, if you come to order fried food, order one of the crispy pork and pepper chicken. I think Yunnan crispy pork is better. Eat a little. Just now when I was in Gukeng, I bought some Gukeng coffee beans because Gukeng is the birthplace of Taiwanese coffee. Gukeng’s natural environment is very suitable for coffee growth, so it is the coffee town of Taiwan. When you go to Gukeng, you have to bring some coffee beans . I also bought two boxes to give to the audience watching this episode. And I chose filter coffee. Whether you have a coffee machine at home or not, you can drink it. As for the lucky draw method, I decided to announce it to everyone at the top of Hehuan East Peak after I climb Hehuan East Peak tomorrow. What if you don’t make it? If you don’t make it, I will just make some coffee for myself. Hahaha. No, I will definitely try my best to climb up. I think I can definitely do it. The sun is out. I’m so lucky . We have reached the Wuling parking lot now. It’s really cold. We all wear raincoats as jackets. It ‘s really cold. Why is it snowing in Taiwan ? It’s not snowing. The temperature is about 12 degrees now. Lisa couldn’t climb anymore. She said it was too cold and she didn’t want to get off the car, so she’s in the car now. Lisa is there , and Chris and I are planning to conquer it. Although it looks smoky now , we are at Songxue Tower and we are going to climb Hehuan East Peak. The entrance to the East Peak is just behind Songxue Tower. When we got off the car, the wind was extremely strong , and the temperature suddenly dropped. It was a sudden drop for us. We all felt a little frozen, and Lisa immediately said she gave up and didn’t want to climb. But after thinking about it for a while, she parked the car, got off the car, and walked for a while. She said she still wanted to give it a try. So now we are a complete team and are going to challenge Hehuan East Peak. As for the current weather conditions, you can see from the picture that it is drizzling and the visibility is about 20 to 30 meters. So it’s a pity that we can’t see the scenery. I can’t see anything , but maybe that’s part of the scenery. The scenery is the misty Hehuan East Peak! Let’s go! Walking on the country road … I won’t sing later. We’re now over 3,000 meters above sea level. Teacher Chen was really worried about us having altitude sickness. He even bought some medicine called Danmusi before we left. I told him I’ve been to Tibet and climbed the roof of the world. An hour or two shouldn’t be a problem. If there were any problems, we’d already come down. Of course, I think his strictness is great. It feels like a stairway to heaven. Talking like this while climbing is like a fairyland. You can’t see anything. Don’t keep talking, you might fall. Imagine how beautiful this place would be on a clear day. I packed a lot of climbing looks before this trip . It’s such a beautiful mountain, so I wanted to dress nicely to climb it. I didn’t expect it to rain heavily. My sister is tired . The porters at Hehuan Mountain want to help carry their children if they want to climb … (pant) Please call this number, will you answer it? Didn’t it just say 12 degrees down there? I was wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt , a long-sleeved sun-protective jacket , a brassiere, and a raincoat on top. Before I started climbing, I thought this outfit was just right and wouldn’t be too cold. We only started eating this kind of food after we reached the top of the mountain . Things that are usually taboo now feel at ease after eating them. How did we walk like this ? I don’t know if she will, but because we kept asking her, “Lisa, do you want to give up? There are 200 meters left. After 700 meters, the wooden plank road starts to tilt and looks a little worn. It will be much more tiring than the previous part, so everyone should conserve their energy for the last section . Dad, the lava is chasing you. Great! Baby, keep an eye on the road and climb up step by step. The steps are so high. We don’t know how many meters above sea level we are now. We’ve been in the clouds the whole time , but Lisa has been persevering and so happy. She said she’s fine. Chris should be at the top , but we can’t catch up with him . The last section has many steps , about as high as Lisa’s shoulders . The little kid needs his parents to help carry him up one step , then down the next, and wait for him. This episode has the most embarrassing scene since the channel started, but it was very fun. I’ve never been so high before. I love the atmosphere when hiking. I don’t know why everyone becomes so friendly and open-minded. We often meet people hiking with us. They just happen to pass by and cheer each other on and tell us how much time we have left to reach the top. It seems that the relationship between people becomes closer when we are in nature . The elder sister who was walking and eating shaqi ma suddenly found that I had a big appetite. At the top of the mountain, the rocks here are all like this , smooth and beautiful. They can be used as plates in Michelin restaurants (?) . Ah, the last part looks very difficult. Come on, sister, when you walk here, there is a step that requires you to use your hands and feet. Then at that moment, I felt as if the only bouldering class I attended was not in vain, because I had always complained a lot about attending that bouldering class, thinking that this sport was neither good-looking nor boring. Then suddenly I felt that everything is meaningful. It feels like moderate rain. Fortunately, I brought a raincoat. I have already seen Chris. He is already at the highest point, right there . Let ‘s go. Every time I climb to the point where I have to go down and up again, I feel very unwilling. I feel that I have finally climbed up and now I have to go down . Hehuan East Peak/ Although the weather was terrible, we succeeded in this challenge. You two are amazing! How much stuff did you pack ? I packed a lot . We were so happy to reach the top of the mountain. It was a bit cold, a bit cold. Although it was very windy and rainy , we still completed it. We are going down the mountain now. It is very windy and rainy. We are going down the mountain to a quiet farm now . If we have time, we can catch the sheep show. I am really looking forward to seeing the sheep. My children are also here. This is a small reward for us after we reach the top. The wind and rain were really strong just now. One of the things I wanted to see most when I went up the mountain this time was the red-haired angry bird on the top of Hehuan East Peak. I was feeling very regretful just now, thinking that I didn’t see anything because of the rain. As a result, I just saw one here, but it flew very fast and then flew away. But it was really cute, with little red hair, exactly as I imagined. I ‘m so lucky. Oh yeah, it’s open, it’s open, you don’t know how beautiful it is to my naked eyes now. Did you see the blue sky? Hahaha, we went down the mountain and saw the blue sky . At the last moment , we saw the blue sky over here . Who would have thought that we were in such a stormy and windy situation on the top of the mountain just now , and now there is a blue sky here. I think it is very beautiful and I want to share it with you . I must say that I really had some regrets when I came to Hehuan East Peak this time because of the weather , but I still I saw stunning scenery I’ve never seen before in my life , but there are still so many places I want to visit again in Hehuan Mountain, like the Dark Sky Park and what it looks like on a clear day. It was probably the most satisfying meal I had on this trip , but I was really tired that day, so I didn’t take many pictures.
