Assim TERMINA nossa HISTÓRIA com a TÉNÉRÉ 1988 no CÂNION ALAGADO – S12/EP12

Hold on, let me start the bike. Hold on to the bike, hold on to the bike, it’s going to fall over on my side. “Oops,” flat. Photos taken, we continue. A wet stretch, which looks pretty smooth. Should I go this way? Let me see… the situation of… Old water. I don’t know if it was a good idea for me to come this way. “Oops,” flat. I have to go that way. Come here. See if it’s deep here. Can I get up there? It’s deep, huh. Do you think so? It’s pretty deep. And here? No, it’s not the same as here. I have to pull the front wheel there. The rear wheel is sinking, push the rear wheel. Now I think it’s up ahead. Hold on, hold on, hold on, I’m going to have to turn off the bike. I’m going to have to get out of here. Turn off the bike, will you? Leave it on, will you? On. Turned off? Leave it on. I can’t get it into neutral. Oh, it stalled and died. Pull it, I’m going… Go… Go… Go … Go… Come… A little more… Just a little more… Go… You can do it… She’s, she’s coming back… In front… Wait a minute, stop, stop. Let’s rest. Turn off the tap. Trick this here. Very . Can you put your foot there? No. Now I think I can mount it, and… go over there where your helmet is. Can I go there? You hold the brake. Can I let go? You can let go, right? Let go. Won’t you, little foot there? My hat. What madness. Hey guys, we’ve made it this far. It wasn’t for lack of trying. There’s a river there. 3 km to go… to get to… to Milton. No way. That’s madness. And when you get there, it’s even deeper. There’s no way to know where it’s dry, the bushes will hide the water. We’ve reached the end of a challenge that… I never thought I’d pass, but when I committed to accompanying Thiago Noronha, I knew there would be many challenges, and that water would be present. And this time the rain, even though it fell early in the morning, it… Probably for several days. For several days, it must have been raining here for several days, and then the accumulation of soil soaked by this morning’s rain created this flood. So, I’m satisfied. We ‘ve reached the end, and we’re not going to continue because from here I’d say it’s impossible to pass by on a motorcycle. Teneré warrior, “old” of war. And the rain is here to toast us, to tell us it’s the end of the road. It was like… “Soy yo.” The “Soy Tribu” came in and kept going, I said, “What a mess!” I thought: What a mess to go in without measuring the depth. It seemed shallow. So, but yeah… that’s the mess. The moment you… The moment you sank, the… rear end. Pass here. Okay, everyone, so now we’re going to raise the drone to show the situation in that area. Hey everyone, Thiago speaking, starting another video, for the channel directly here, from the Viana Canyons, in the state of Piauí. If you missed the last video, this is the continuation of the episode where I almost lost my motorcycle, here in the flooded area. We couldn’t see how deep it was, so I kept going in and out. The water covered much of the motorcycle, so we had to get out through the woods, and now we’re heading back to Bom Jesus. Here, 4 km away, I would have already reached the end of the Canyons, but with this flooded area, it’s impossible to cross. And now we’re going back to Bom Jesus, where there are several flooded areas, which we managed to overcome, but now we’ll have to cross again. Watch the next scenes. There are a lot of… those thorns, which stuck in my pants. You need something to eat. Let’s just go over the most critical parts and stop for a bite to eat. Shall we? Let’s go. Starting this video here, asking for God’s protection, so that we can Overcoming the challenges ahead, which aren’t small; there are several flooded areas that we still have to… return to. We can record some cool content for you —the rearview mirror is even bent— and emerge victorious from this marvel here, the Vianas Canyon. Thanks to the channel’s partners: BNP Seguros. If you need a quote, talk to Eduardo at BNP. Car, motorcycle, or house. Alltracks top boxes—if it weren’t for them, my belongings would be full of water after what I just went through. Vital Card travel insurance is the only one I found that doesn’t require an additional fee for motorcycle travel. You can do it at the link I left in the description. You choose the plan that suits you and use my discount coupon, thinoronha. Spot Brasil, satellite tracker—look, it’s deep. Satellite tracker with an SOS button. With it, I can send a link to my family, and they’ll know exactly where I am. It takes a lot of heart to cross this sand. Wolf – These thermoses here saved us, allowing us to bring fresh water here to this hot place. The sand has dried. It wasn’t dry when we came. Only horses pass through here, with marks of… their tracks. There’s a lot of erosion. This is the most beautiful part, this core here. The TCX boot I’m wearing is excellent, but as long as I don’t put my foot in the water. Now my foot is soaked, but because it went in from above, it didn’t go in through the side of the boot. And you can find all these products at the Nacar Motorcycle store, and there’s also my discount coupon, thinoronha. Look how huge it is, “How beautiful is it?” Here… It’s this way. Wow, my leg is full of those things that stick. I think we rode 50 km and the end was in 54… I don’t even know what time it is, you have to turn on the GPS to see what time it is. I had to take off my life jacket; it’s very hot, we’ve been doing a tremendous amount of effort, and the speed here is 20 km/h, so the risk is minimal. But I was impressed with the… the Teneré on the sand. I’m inexperienced, but I’m managing… very well. Not very well, I’m managing, that’s the term. Good thing now there’s a trail; I know where we went, in the bigger puddles. A stretch of compacted sand. This is one of the most beautiful stretches, with this flooded section. And the wall. I remember the first time I came here, I arrived here exhausted, on the 800, and I asked some people who were here where Milton was. These little swamps are annoying, some are really deep. They’re deceiving. The Teneré is a war veteran. And the water keeps running here. We’re approaching the other flooded section. It’s right here. There’s a big swamp here. This first one has to go through the middle and the second one on the side. Wow, but how much is… what do you call this thing here? Up here, there’s a little hill, and here it is on the side. Down there is the second worst one, which I went the wrong way, Lê found the best way to get through. Tina Turner and Brooke Shields are the names of our bikes, given to us by Le Cappel. Tina, because she was a warrior in the movie there. And Brooks, because of her beauty. Yeah, the sand has already dried. You have to go fast. A small, calm swamp… and the big swamp. I didn’t even remember this part here, which was complicated. Here, look. And there’s sand now. Look at our trail here, “see” that no motorcycles passed here, from that point on, no more motorcycles passed, there’s only our trail here. Be careful on these bridges here, with nails or holes. Oh man, this is a lot of sand. Good afternoon, mimosas. I passed this morning, now I’m heading back. You have to put second gear here, because the first one is very strong. The sand is practically gone now. The canyon is already opening up. Excuse me, everyone, I’ll have to pass by, “my man,” sorry. Thank you. You’re so kind, did you see? I’m missing my rear brake, what happened, huh? There are some properties here. We’re about 30 km from Bom Jesus. I think this is a good place to eat, to stop for a bite to eat, some shade. Wow, look… so many little animals. Not little… Thorns. Tell me, what does “painful” mean in your opinion? “Painful” is a term used for when you have to pull your motorcycle out of a flooded area. Then you lose power… where it doesn’t exist. Then afterward, your body feels a little weak. Is this normal for you? Look, since I woke up with the goal of doing this route, I consider it normal. Normal. Relaxed. So, let’s say we’re within a normal range… Acceptable. …of a day’s vacation, riding a motorcycle. Are you worried? No. Neither am I. Do I look worried? Do you have flip-flops? Let’s put them on, let’s just chill? Let’s just chill in flip-flops? Hey guys, Teneré riding kit on the Viana, a shin strap, both… Flip-flops… RK chain, old lady. Let’s see from the other side. I don’t know why I don’t have brakes. I don’t understand what could be happening. A bit of brush in there. Survival kit, pocketknife. Want a sip? Please. I’ll serve you a sip of soursop juice in the Viana Canyons. “Salut.” Well, after a rest stop, let’s continue. The idea is to go to a town called Cristiano Castro, about 70 km from here. It’s about 3 p.m. This little stop was good to replenish energy, eat some fruit, a… biscuit. Speed up, you have to speed up in the sand. Wow… here’s mud. And look at this gift from God, late afternoon. Not late afternoon, around 4:00 now. And the sky is blue, partly cloudy here, of course, but the sun is shining, making this spectacular place brighter. Look at the trail we passed. The water turns green. Here the canyon is already opening up, becoming more spaced out. There are places in the rock, which is water-draining, which is still compacted sand. Training here, second, full engine, pushing. Stop, it loses stability. The hard part is gaining that confidence. Not a samba, Teneré. See if I don’t sink here, there was one I sank, I went through it with everything. This one is really deep, it’s better to go over it. “Hey” big guy, “good afternoons,” how are you? Good? Where’s Le Cappel, who’s nowhere to be seen? Stop here in the shade. So we’re here, at the sign for the beginning of the canyons. Pretty tired. Now, not long to go. It’s almost 20 km to the road again. We’re already approaching the end of the canyons. 15 km to Bom Jesus. Soon, this gravel road ends here. It was a success; we went as far as we could go and had to turn back. But I’m satisfied, because what we experienced here, with these bikes, was sensational. We plan to go through Serra das Confusões. We could go this way if the road were open, open in the direction… if it weren’t flooded, and it would be much faster, because from there, from the end of the canyons to Serra das Confusões, it would be about a hundred or so kilometers, and now we’ll have to drive… almost 400, on asphalt to get there. And what better way to end the day than with rain? Sun and rain. End the day, there’s still so much to do. Find a place to sleep, see why my rear brake, my motorcycle’s rear brake isn’t working, if the brake pad is worn out, if it’s something else. Stop here. And we’re done, the asphalt part. Le Cappel, we’re done with the dirt part of the canyons, huh? It looks like you’re dirty. Amazing, this isn’t dirt, this is joy, discovering one of the most beautiful places in Brazil, hidden here in the backlands of Piauí. Indescribably beautiful. And the bike got a little dirty, right? This dirt is worth its weight in gold. It’s a warrior. Well, everyone, so now we’re going to Cristino Castro, 36 km from here, to find a hotel, a place to stay, get things ready, organize things here. So, we probably won’t make any more stops today, especially since the batteries are already going out. Let’s go to Le Cappel? 4:40 pm. You can easily get to this town. Clean off the dirt, but it’s because it’s not a good cause. The brakes aren’t working. I need to see if it’s because of the excess… dirt. The disc is even peeling. We arrived here, in Cristino Castro. There’s already a hotel here at the beginning of town. Let’s stop here to ask. What’s the function? It’s personal, so it was R$100 each. We’ll stay right here, we already have food, a pool too. Wow, how nice, huh? No, look at this here; we’re getting really spoiled. The pool at this hotel, waiting for a splash. Look back there, a beautiful mountain range. Now we’ll have to eat the food that was meant for camping, so we don’t have to carry a bunch of stuff in our luggage. So, my bike’s brake pads are gone. The rear brake pads. Where are the new ones? Put them right there… It’s the difference. So now, while Le Cappel is servicing the bikes, I’ll see if we can make dinner over there at… there are some little tables over there, I’m hungry. I need to fill up my tank, so the way to get gas is to get it here. Open the tap, please. I forgot to fill it up at the gas station. How wonderful. I’ll put any leftovers back in the tank. Today’s dish will be instant noodles with smoked sardines and cheese. We’re reusing the stove. It’s hard to control this mess. A day after the Viana Canyons is more than good, isn’t it? It’s great. Soon, we’ll have the “tchibum.” Now we just have to finish the day here, think about some warm water. So that’s it, if you liked this video, leave a like. If you’re not subscribed, subscribe. If you don’t follow me on Instagram, be sure to check out the videos and photos I’ll post there @thhanoronha and Le Cappel. And let’s go get some water . Thanks, I’m off.

Neste episódio mostramos o desfecho da nossa ida de moto nos Cânions do Viana alagado no Piauí.
