NOS MUDAMOS DE MÉXICO 🇲🇽

– It seems to me that I’m going to move from Mexico. – Why? – Good morning – here we are waking up early – it’s 7:30 – because today we hired a tour to take us to an incredible place, – but a lot more places – than the truth. – It’s going to be. – More of a surprise. – So. – I’m ready, – I put on my swimsuit downstairs, – here we are. – With my hair still wet, – but with makeup on, we’re going to carry a backpack as much as possible – and everything so I think we have to go, Mateo. – Are you ready? – Almost my love, wait a second while I’m taking my English classes, – Vinis – There I go, my life. – Well, the first stop today is going to blow my mind. – Uh, – yes, – we’re in Santa María de Tule, a small town that’s part of it. – Of the 500 municipalities that surround Oaxaca – and every town has something special to see, here there’s something truly incredible – that in all the trips we’ve already taken with Lisanna we’ve never seen anything like it. – Not because it’s the widest, widest in the world, – I mean, it only exists here and what we’re going to see is a tule tree, it’s called. – It’s the widest tree in the world. – It holds the Guinness record, my love. – Yes, because to hug it you need 35 adults. – Here it is, look, 58 m thick. – Here’s the tule tree. – It’s an ahuehuete. – And it’s 3,009 years old. – I mean, it’s seen decades, wars. – Millennia, my love. – It’s seen everything. Eh – they say you can see it. – I don’t see any animal and human shapes in the tree, – but. It’s impressive. – It’s enormous. – It’s enormous. – It looks like several trees together, – but it’s not the same tree. – And the trunk. – It’s enormous because the tree itself isn’t very tall. – And they say that the indigenous people used these little branches here that you see as part of a spiritual rite to teach them the path to liberation of the spirit and emotions. – Do you think we could turn it around? – Go ahead – and right there next to the tree is the parish. – And also the parks are very beautiful – and the way they cut the trees, it’s just how it seems, – Did you see the barber when you left? – Yes – it’s fresh, look, a turkey. – They’re perfect. – And it’s an elephant. – Also, uh – to get in here you have to pay 20 pesos. – And you have to bring cash. – It has that gate, but I would love for there to be someone there next to it – so they can see the size of the tree, – because everything always seems smaller around the Chamber, right? – Although we’re on a field trip. – We have quite limited time. – It seems like a super nice town to walk around, – to eat something – because there’s a craft market, – those beautiful parks, a little sunshine, – there’s a lot of street food over there that we’re going to pass now – and also the letters of Tula, the typical photo. – Yes, the town. – Look. – It’s impeccable – tidy. – Market, crafts – There’s a fountain here – the town hall is over there. – Everything is very. – Be careful – it’s so impeccable that there’s not even a stick of grass. – Longer than average, you see – and something funny was when the traffic police came to pick us up today – To do the Tour – Lisanna remembered something that always happens to us every time we book one of these Tours. – Since we leave the whole year to create content, – we don’t go on vacation. – If we don’t choose a boutique hotel, – a nice hotel, like you would go on vacation, – then the places we stay are simpler, – then when the minibus comes to tour the tourists. – Always for a boutique hotel, a hotel I don’t know what, everything is perfect – and when they come to pick us up it looks like a garage door, you know – I didn’t make myself laugh, my love, – we’re always in the simplest place of all the people who are in the traffic police – and we’re always the last ones to be picked up – To be picked up and dropped off. – Because we’re always further away – yes. – Outside the city, outside the center – yes. – Everything
– looks at Tula’s letters – There they are, – well, let’s go back, my love, because I think we’re running out of time. – I think so. – Good morning, miss. – What could this be that I see all over Oaxaca? – It’s fresh corn and cacao water, – fresh corn and cacao water. – You have to try it to know what it is, – it has milk, – no, – not just water with corn and cacao. – Okay, I’m going – to buy a glass. – What did you put in it? – sugar – Look at you. – What could it be an indigenous drink? – It’s a pre-Hispanic drink, – Pre-Hispanic, – a typical Oaxacan drink – And this is drunk at noon or at night. – At any time of day, – that’s right. – How much do I owe you, miss? – fifty – keep the change. – Thank you. – To you – what was your name? – tejate. – Oh, how delicious it tastes – an ice cream, a tejate, a fresh water. – Oh. – Delicious mix. – It looks like Quaker , you wear that – Oatmeal in the morning? – Yes. – And nutritious – very delicious, miss – thank you – I liked it, see you later. – Good day, see you later. – Look at you – Interesting, isn’t it? – There are so many things here that you don’t see anywhere else. – I don’t taste the cacao that much, – but rather as you said – as if it were a Quaker – Look at you – yummy, it surprised me. – I grabbed it right now, don’t you see. – I see someone liked it, man. – The second stop taught us an ancient tradition that the Zapotecs still keep alive. – It all starts with sheep wool – which is spun by hand with spinning wheels as has been done for generations. – Then they dye it with natural colors – and they showed us all the variety of colors they can achieve using plants. – Salt, lime, lemon, etc. – They even use a cactus insect once the wool is dyed and dried in the sun – and goes to the pedal loom. There the artisans weave beautiful rugs. – It’s a job. – It can take weeks or even months – and no two are alike. – We made a stop to try the ice cream – in Mexico they sell ice cream everywhere, – but why is it so special here ? – Because there are two flavors that can’t be found anywhere else, – one of mezcal and one of tuna. – What’s the fruit, that of the nopal – Cactus? I always ask, – but I ordered mezcal and passion fruit – the tuna tasted like blueberries, red fruits. – Delicious – Yes. – But they said mezcal, like a pair of headphones, is the best combination. – And that mezcal has 50% alcohol. – But they say it doesn’t get you drunk. – Let’s see how we end up at the end of the Tour. – He was right, eh wow. – You see, ice cream isn’t like creamy ice cream, – but like ice. – Yes, that’s why it’s called snow, I think. – They make it inside those barrels, it says it takes. – 25 minutes to make. – But mezcal takes 2 hours, since it’s alcoholic . – How is it? – Very good. – You’re going to love it. – I’ve already tried the mezcal, I want to try this one . – But together you have to try. – I like it because it’s very watery, – it’s like putting alcohol in ice cream. – Yes, – it’s delicious. – Wow . – And you can tell it was the most popular stop so far, huh? – So far, yes. – The one where the most sales were made was the ice cream. – Okay, people, now we’ve arrived at the most important stop of the day for us. – With Lisanna, our plan when we came to Oaxaca was to come straight here. – To see this place that we’re going to introduce to you later. – But with the tour we booked, we stopped in several places – and ended up seeing a lot more. – Exactly. – Now we’re here. – To a place where there are only two in the entire world, – one is here in Mexico and the other in Turkey. – And it’s called “hierve el agua” (water boils), – the name sounds like it’s a hot spring, – but it’s not. – I had a hard time understanding it until. – The girl who was there and who. – Selling us some tacos, explained to me – it’s actually a place. – where there’s a spring that gives off water and it’s called, – the water boils – because there are bubbles of gas and minerals that come out. – So it seems like it’s boiling, – but no – it’s cold water and when the water falls, because of the minerals there, – it releases calcium carbonate. – And they form frozen waterfalls, they say. – And that’s what creates a unique visual effect. – In the entire world – with Lisanna we had never seen anything like that, – no – before. – And also. – It was a sacred site of the Zapotec indigenous people. – Of course, – where they came to take their baths. – And they also performed. – Rituals. – Right there you can go for a swim in the lovely sunshine, – it’s refreshing, and let’s see how it goes. – How about – because we’re at 1,500 meters above sea level here – it’s a little chilly – look at the mountain that surrounds us, the place is spectacular – beautiful – and well, now we’re going to go down this path – and we’ll see what we find in those pools. – To get in here, – apart from booking the tour, which cost us 300 pesos – each – they also charge you an entrance fee at each place you stop. – here it cost 100 pesos per person – and so on, – some cost 50, others 100. – They charge you depending on the place, – but hey, it’s to keep it clean and organized – and so on, etc. – There are quite a few people here, to be honest. – I didn’t know one thing – that Oaxaca is so touristy – Me neither.
– I didn’t expect it, but international tourism too, eh – You can come here on horseback – There are foreigners, look, they rent out little horses. – To come to the pools. – There’s one riding an ox – A sheep. – Or I don’t know what. – Well, I can’t believe it. – We have to go sign that, Lisanna – Look at him, Lisanna, you see a little petition – Mamira, you – Look at you – you can ride one, she’s a bull. – How scary – Can you ride a bull in Mexico? – It’s the first time I’ve seen something like that in my life – and I think it’s impressive. – I didn’t even know you could, huh? – It doesn’t look like a domesticated bull or a trained bull either. – Does he have a hump, see? – He has a hump, yes, – sir, that’s a bull. – But he’s trained. – Yes, let’s see from up here, my love, the pools – come on, wow. – It’s like an infinity pool. – How scary is it to go there? – To the top – we’re going down, – come on – here we’re going down. – It looks like all calcified stone. – For someone who likes flying a drone, it’s – the saddest moment of the day. – When you’re carrying the trunk all day for epic shots – and when you arrive. – There’s a sign that says no drone flying – It’s sad apart. – The view we had up here. – It would be incredible, impressive. – If I find shots, I’ll post them, – but they won’t be taken by me, – they’ll be taken by someone else who did let the drone fly – you can hear a lot of people speaking English here. – I don’t see many people in the water, so. – It’s not very warm over there, let’s say. – Look, it’s boiling over there. – Here it’s not really boiling. – This is why they say the water is boiling. – But it’s not really boiling – it’s just the bubbles. – Of course – and it doesn’t come out hot – no, how crazy, right? – It does seem – it looks like soda – it says don’t put your feet in. – Why would he say that? – And you’re left there. – you get trapped – it looks like clay, see – This is what takes centuries and decades to form – that’s why it’s there. – It is, yes, of course, as you think, effect – well here this, look at the precipice. – look, how crazy – look. We are standing here a few meters away, – if you happen to drink too many beers – and you didn’t realize you’ll fall, eh – There’s nothing to protect you from the fall. – And there it is. – The waterfall is petrified. – Yes, beautiful. – Incredible. – Landscape, – a drone shot would be epic. – would you dare, lisanna, to get into the water or not – it’s a little cool, let’s say – yes, me too – I came all prepared to take a dip. – But I don’t know. – The wind. – The water is cool. – Are you going to take a bath, my love, or not? – I’m going to take a toe dip. – Well, – what do you think? – And it seems fine to me, – I’m not really going to swim, – I came all prepared, but no. – The sun went down. – Yes it is. – Cold – it was going to be the last point of the day, – but due to rain so go ahead. – The turn showed, – but we still have time with the sun, let’s see. – It’s great. – It’s nice – It’s nice like that, – but to put in more than the belt you have to drink a lot of mezcal first, – but since we haven’t drunk. – I would like to have a little mezcal – and eat something too – because I’m really hungry – it seems like all the videos are hungry. – Some followers don’t say that, – that you guys are always hungry, – it’s because you’re always eating, – it’s a lot of hours to do them. – The trips, – then you get hungry, – but it seems to me that I’m going to move from Mexico. – Why? – Why am I going to move to Oaxaca ? – I would think about it, eh me. – It was very good, yes. – Me too. – You see that Mexico City is called Mexico? – Yes – I don’t know why at first I didn’t understand, – it was like in Guadalajara they said there in Mexico like in this, – but if we are in Mexico and there I understood that they are talking about the city – I also felt like leaving Mexico and coming here, eh, – it wouldn’t be a bad idea, I would really think about it – What do you think? – Put in the comments, – what do you think of Oaxaca – and if you are enjoying this video too. – Subscribe to the channel leave me – a like. – Comment. – Thanks. – Now we arrive at the archaeological zone of Mitla, – it is known as the religious center of the Zapotecs – and also the city of the dead, – because here it was the spiritual and funerary center, – but it stands out for its stone frets that were unique in Mesoamerica – and that is why this stop is important because it has a lot of history. – This place really looks impressive – it was specifically for this one. – The place we see here – that they called Mitla – because it was precisely here where – They found a pile of corpses – and it was discovered that this was actually a kind of cemetery. – Where they buried – The most important people of the time – people who were in the highest ranks of society – and what’s striking is the quality and the amazing structures they made. – To bury their dead. – Because they are buildings that at that time were of a very high level. – And it’s also very seismic here. – Calm down, calm down. – How strong. – Yes, oh, look, honey. – First time in our lives that we caught fire. – Yes – It’s that strong, yes, like that. – It came from nowhere – Yes, but it was with everything. – You got scared. – No. – I only got scared when I saw the second one come, – because when one comes – and it stops everything, it’s fine, – but when one comes it stops a little and the other comes stronger, that’s when I got scared. – Our first earthquake in Mexico that one – Look at the people standing there, – I came out in socks – You don’t even have to put on shoes, lisanna, I came out just like that, – how strong it was. – So they’re kind of earthquake-proof, – because so many years, thousands of years, and they’re still 80% original. – And only 20 percent was restored. – And they said they’re so well done – and so luxurious that everyone wanted to be buried here – in this amazing place in Mitla. – The truth is that the – the design is very beautiful , – yes. – What are the designs called? My love, what did he say? – Greek – The Greek, which represent the four elements, fire. – Wind, water, and earth. – The sun sent him. – Beautiful. – It’s very beautiful, really, if you get to see that red wall there, it still preserves. – It still has its original color. – Because all the walls of the buildings – Inside and out were painted that color since. – It represented blood. – And blood was sacred back then. – That’s it. – The original color. – That the buildings wore in the pre-Hispanic era – before the arrival of the Spanish, – when the Zapotecs still lived here. – They lived in this place. – Look, my love, I’m going to tell you something, how many cacti have we seen in Mexico? – There must be so many species that I’d have one of each, – but every time we see them, they never cease to amaze us. – I love cacti. When I was little at my parents’ house, – I had like 20 and I kept growing them. – Today, they were just tiny, like this. – Today, they’re like this – They were yours, they’re so pretty – and the variety there is endless, right – they prick – Yes. – Oh, that’s really strong. – And every time we come here, we find – Like a new species. – Let me know if there’s a Botanical Garden for cacti – that has every species of cactus. – I’d like to go if anyone knows, please comment. – Well, I was really hungry. – Can you tell, huh? – I think you can tell, the food is delicious, – it’s a buffet they offer on the Tour. – You pay separately, 200 pesos, I think per person. – And I wanted to try the beef cooked in mezcal. – What’s this? Yes – I won’t say it, let’s see, – give me a little bit too. – How interesting because everything here is made with mezcal, – since it’s a very mezcal-infused area. Look, try it. – I don’t taste any mezcal, no. – But the flavor is good, right? – Yes, it’s like beef, it seems. – That’s it. – There’s also mole in all colors because there are 7 moles here, – there are small moles, meats, salty everything, lemonade, orange. – I was really hungry too, so. – Enjoy your meal and enjoy this food. – I think I got 1 kg on my plate. Look. – Then I’m going to get dessert and also – I got 2 types of beans 2. – Types of beans. – We’re going to sleep separately – At the last stop of the day, they showed us how the famous mezcal is made. – First, the agave is harvested after years of maturation, the leaves are cut – and the heart known as the piña is extracted. – Then the piñas are cooked underground. – This step gives them their classic smoky flavor. – After several days, the cooked piñas are crushed with a tahona, – a large stone wheel moved by a donkey or horse, the juice and fibers. – They are placed in wooden vats to ferment naturally. – It has been fermented in liquids and then teflonized twice in copper or clay stills, – according to the tradition of the master mezcalero – and the result is a pure and strong artisanal mezcal. – After learning how mezcal is made, – we will make a toast. – With a 1-year barrel ageing. – It’s strong, – he waits for the toast. – My love. – It’s delicious, it’s like whiskey. – I’m going to start off with the people chin chin. – And well, he realizes that I toast with you. – Well, let’s see. – It’s delicious now. What I still distinguish – what’s the difference between mezcal and tequila ? – Because the flavor is very similar, – maybe mezcal is a little softer because it’s better to drink than tequila. – Tequila is like a western chaza. – Softer mezcal, do you think? – No. – It has 50% alcohol. – Well, flavor, I don’t know, I don’t know, they’re so similar, I think. – But they’re different, my love. – I know, but at the same time so similar. – Well, the truth is that today was a beautiful day, – we learned a lot of things. – Did we learn so much about the local culture, oh what state? – Beautiful. – What about things you have to do? – But the next place we’re going to is a – place I’ve been wanting to go for a long time – and Lisanna wasn’t up for it, so stay tuned for the next video – because we’re going to see something quite atypical from what we’ve already done on this channel, – so we give you a big kiss. – Thanks for watching, we love you all and until next time. – Bye bye. – Bye.

Es que son feos ?? No entiendo…….
