【Madrid&Toledo】壮大なトレド大聖堂に大感動|都会なマドリードと中世の雰囲気残るトレドを歩く|4k60fps

Checking into the hotel right away About 1 hour by train from Madrid Airport €62 per night = ¥10,230 Great location, just 1 minute walk from Sol Square Grateful for an elevator in such a budget hotel First time riding this retro type of elevator since Egypt Feels nostalgic after so long Leaving luggage at the hotel and heading out A rectangular plaza measuring 129m x 94m In the center stands the statue of Felipe III on horseback A place famous for mushrooms Ordered various dishes—all were delicious The mushrooms were juicy and tasty Live organ music added a nice atmosphere Royal Palace of Madrid, built on the site of a Moorish fortress from the 9th century Burned down in 1734 and rebuilt by order of Felipe V No longer a royal residence—used for ceremonies now The palace sits on a hill with a viewing platform beside it You can see a panoramic view of Madrid It’s easy to understand why this was once a fortress This cathedral was completed in 1784 It stands on the site where a Japanese delegation sent by Date Masamune in 1614 once stayed Lively music could be heard in front of the market In Spain, you can enjoy street music in many places Just walking the streets is truly enjoyable Entering the San Miguel Market Too crowded to eat anything So many tasty-looking items, but
All at tourist prices That’s such a cute face 🙂 Established in 1894 Apparently it’s open 24 hours Didn’t expect that in Europe 🙂 Dip churros into bitter chocolate to eat Not sweet, but too oily for one person Today I’m heading to Toledo by Renfe high-speed train Arrived in exactly 34 minutes Platform info wasn’t announced until 5 minutes before departure, which made everyone a bit irritated Toledo Station is built in Mudejar style, a mix of Islamic and Christian architecture Alcántara Bridge—built in Roman times, spans the Tagus River It’s also the gateway to the fortified city of Toledo The Tagus River flows into the Atlantic, becoming the Tejo River in Portugal The city walls are impressively tall Plaza de Zocodover in the center of town There are restaurants like Burger King and McDonald’s around You can buy train tour tickets around the city here too Lots of hills and steep slopes Even the tobacco shops look cool This area really has a medieval vibe—I love it Hmm, I think I might really like Toledo Today’s main dish: entering Toledo Cathedral Toledo Cathedral—construction began in 1226 and was completed in 1493 The interior is much larger than expected Spain’s largest cathedral with 4 aisles and 22 chapels Gold is used throughout, giving it a solemn and luxurious feel There’s a saying: “If you only have one day in Spain, go to Toledo without hesitation” For me personally: “If you only have one day in Spain, go to Toledo Cathedral without hesitation” Personally, it surpasses the Vatican
My No.1 cathedral in the world 🙂 €12 for the ticket is unbelievably cheap Now heading to the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, which you can see from here A church in Isabeline style built in the 15th century Built to commemorate the 1476 victory over Portugal in the Battle of Toro Touring the city on the Train Vision The 1-hour tour costs €9 I did my research and sat on the right-hand side The right side offers the best views—keep that in mind Impressive city walls Alcántara Bridge, which I crossed at the beginning Angeles Santos Torroella
