【馬で登るアルティンアラシャン!】アラフィフ女一人旅 inキルギス
The atmosphere of the town is amazing. I’m heading to the bus terminal to go to Karakol today. I was planning to take a large-size bus, but I ended up going with the flow, so I’m going to take a marshrutka (shared bus). The bus will depart when the seats were filled. We’ll take a break after 1.5 hours. If you hurry, you’ll have lunch. The scenery is constantly changing. The road is bumpy…and it’s hot inside the bus. These are graves. There are different shapes! I’ve arrived in Karakol. I’m looking for a place to stay. “Hello. What are you looking for?” There guy who asked me was the son of the guesthouse owner. The view is beautiful, and the mountains are clearly visible. I wonder if I’m going up there? I told the owner what I wanted, and he made the arrangements, and my plans for tomorrow are perfectly set. Thank you! Finally, the purpose of my trip: horse trekking to Altyn Arashan. I’m being driven to the foot of the mountain by this Soviet Union car. I’m heading to Altyn Arashan by horse trekking. I’m a complete beginner at horse riding, but it’s started without any practice. I’m still not used to it, so I’m scared because it suddenly starts running. This is the trailhead to Altyn Arashan. The guide is carrying my backpack. I’m sorry. So fast, so fast, so fast! It’s scary when you suddenly start running. We’re climbing along the Alashan River. The river flows incredibly fast. The guide is probably a high school student. There are quite a few young people working in this country. I’m gradually getting used to it and can take selfies, but I need to be careful. We’re also passing people going down the mountain. It’s like a scene from a movie! The path is getting increasingly rough. If you’re confident in your legs, I recommend walking! I couldn’t do it… The horse went through the bumpy rocks and the river. I really felt what “horsepower” means. The horses are amazing! Suddenly, open land comes into view! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We arrived at the yurt after two and a half hours. What an amazing view. This is what it looks like when you zoom in. Amazing. I’m going to stay in this small, two-person yurt. I wonder who else would come? In the end, no one showed up, so I was alone. Phew. It even has electricity like this. This big yurt is the dining room. No one’s here right now. I like how the floor is just the ground. There’s a single, sunk-type toilet in the annex. It’s 1PM, but I have nothing planned, so I’m relaxing. It’s amazing that everyone can ride horses so easily. I saw even kids that age were riding. This family apparently lives here for three months during the summer. Sorry for the wind and the distorted sound throughout. The stirrup kept rubbing against my ankles, which was quite painful. High-top shoes might be better than low-tops. My butt hurt, so it might be a good idea to wear one or two layers underneath. Gloves are optional, but you’ll get sunburned, so I recommend wearing them. It felt like animals and humans were spending time together! There is a kid playing in the car. *Since everyone lives here, it’s probably best to just “accidentally get caught in the photo while holding the camera.” Or you can ask if it’s okay to take a photo. I wonder why some horses are free and others are chained. I thought some horses wouldn’t stand for long, but others would suddenly sit down, so I wonder if they get tired. *Their legs are locked, so they don’t get tired even when standing. Some horses sleep the whole time, but I think most of them are children. *They sometimes lie down in safe places, but apparently lying down for long periods of time is uncomfortable for them. This kid said, “Get on the horse,” and let me ride. So cute. So cute. Maybe they’re warned not to ride without permission? I’m back. I’m back. I was supposed to go to the hot spring, but I ended up coming back. This is the hot spring. It’s private. There’s a changing room and a place to wash (no shampoo or other things allowed). The water is a little hot. It’s perfect for relieving travel fatigue Dinner time . I was the only guest staying tonight. It’s past 9 o’clock. This night, I learned there’s a limit to how much I can daydream. There’s no signal to look anything up, so I wonder if I’ll be able to sleep tonight. My stay in the yurt was amazing. They were full of hospitality and were kind. So kind. So sweet. Such a nice family. The kids played chess and kicked balloons around…so sweet. It felt like they were living each day at a time. There was a donkey. I thought it was great that the only activity was horse trekking. I wonder what it’ll be like in 10 years. I might not like paragliding here. I might not like hot air balloons . I wish they’d just do horse trekking the whole time. That was just my opinion. It’s becoming a usual sight for me now. They’re looking at me. I’m going down from here. It’s cool here. The forest was bright and not scary at all. It feels like Moomin might appear instead of ghosts. There are a lot of different plants blooming. I encountered a flock of sheep! Their butts were cute. A lamb that had fallen behind the flock was forced onto a horse. I also encountered a cowherd boy. It’s been four hours since I left the yurt, but I’m not at the end yet. I ended up getting late because I was taking fixed-point videos and picking up stones. I returned safely! I had hoped that this trip would give me some ideas for a piece of art, but in the face of nature, nothing came to mind. Humans are so tiny. What is the meaning of creating a work of art? It was a valuable experience that made me think about such things.
