I remember being impressed by this. Even with the many clouds, a beautiful jade green sea spreads out before me. Yajiyā Gama Cave “Yajiya” is a place name, and “gama” is a cave. It is one of the largest limestone caves on Kumejima. There is an opening at the end of the dark cave . The black part beyond that has not been investigated and cannot be entered. The inside is a hideout for bats and there are no electric lights or anything. What on earth is this cave? When I found out what lay ahead, I was so shocked that I was left speechless, as if there was such a place in Japan! An underground adventure that overturns the image of Kumejima as a resort. From here on, all light is lost. First, take a deep breath as you soak up the last of the light at the entrance. You can’t go inside the cave with just your phone’s light. Bring a flashlight and a hat. You’ll see limestone caves lit up, but this is a natural cave that hasn’t been commercialized for tourism. If you turn off the lights, it’s pitch black. Even if you look back at the path you walked, you’ll be enveloped in darkness with no light. Most people would turn back. The path is that long and narrow, and it seems to be paved so you can walk along it . There are also many bats flying around, which is scary… The moment you emerge from the darkness and the light shines in , it feels like you’re walking out of the darkness into hope. The sense of relief at that moment was immense. The darkness from before seems like a lie, and a world like Totoro unfolds before you. An opening in the cave where light shines in. Of course, there is no one there . Just for a moment, feel this sacred space. I want to visit remote islands. ISLAND TRIPWelcome to my channelSubscribe to my あるので、なんか錦織くんがかわいく見えちゃったからいいよね。 English: channel! This place was so mysterious I was speechless I can’t go any further so I’ll head back to the entrance The way back took about 6 minutes (one way) There were many human bones at the end of the cave at the site of “sky burial” which used to be in Okinawa. Sky burial is a method of waiting until the remains have turned into bones by the forces of nature and then interred There were many human bones in broken urns It was the first time in my life that I had seen such a sight Yajagama is not just a tourist spot but a place where life and death, nature and culture intersect When you visit , please walk quietly and respectfully without shouting Now we’re off to have lunch at a popular restaurant ♪ Kaisen Ajidokoro Kamekichi 160-39 Higa, Kumejima-cho, Shimajiri-gun, Okinawa 901-3108

Zaru mozuku seaweed 440 yen Zaru mozuku 440 yen Bouncy and soft 😆 Served with a special sesame sauce ✨ It’s easy to swallow and refreshing, so even those who don’t like vinegared mozuku will enjoy this! It’s healthy and energizing! Sakuna set meal 2,000 yen Sakuna set meal 2,000 yen Taste the “blessing of longevity” of Kumejima with Sakuna tempura, Sakuna fried rice , vinegared mozuku, assorted sashimi, Sakuna tuna mayonnaise, and soki soup (with Sakuna) – what a luxury! ♪ The sashimi is also delicious! As expected of a remote island, the tempura is crispy and the aroma and flavor of Sakuna spreads subtly. It’s healthy and satisfying, and the fried rice with plenty of Sakuna is incredibly easy to eat and delicious! The tuna mayonnaise dressing makes it easy to eat, but the flavor of the sakuna (longevity herb) really comes through. Sakuna (longevity herb) is a traditional Okinawan herb that is highly nutritious, so much so that it’s said that “eating one stalk will add one day to your life.” I wonder how many days this set meal will extend my life! 🤣 It fills me with energy from deep within. 👀 If you can’t make a reservation for dinner, try it for lunch. Tonnaha Castle Ruins Park: A perfect picnic spot, with its lawn, forest stairs, and scattered oddly shaped rocks . The remains of the stone walls and other remnants of the former gusuku (castle) remain. The view of the sky, sea, and islands blending together is captivating, as if time has stopped. Finally, we’ll show you a little bit of the next video, so please bear with us a little longer!♪ We went to see one of Kumejima’s largest giant pine trees, the Five-branched pine . It’s over 250 years old, and its branches span an astounding 250 square meters . It’s not a haunted spot on Kumejima, but a mysterious and unusual one! ♪ It looks like you’re going uphill, but your car is moving forward on its own! This is a hill where you can have such a terrifying experience!🤣 Most visitors will be left confused, lol. The sign is a little hard to understand.🤔 Seeing is believing! Let’s try it out first. At an elevation of approximately 310 meters, these ruins are the highest gusuku (castle) in Okinawa Prefecture. As the highest castle in Okinawa, the view is breathtaking! Unfortunately, the sunset was shrouded in large clouds, but it was still an exciting and passionate place. If the conditions were right, you could see a fantastic sight, with the whole area dyed orange. Feeling the wind blowing from all directions, we continued to climb ever higher. It was a straight road leading to a fortress in the sky. We were soothed by the greenery of Kumejima, found hope in the blue of the sky, and our hearts were unravelled by the magnificent scenery. This story came to an end here, and we moved on to the next chapter. Although the sunset conditions were not perfect, we were able to experience an even more moving experience than the last one. This is because we realized that what’s important is not the color of the sunset, but the color of your heart. Next time preview: LetterboxIs

Always looking forward and enjoying your videos.
Makes me happy watching your vlogs.
