札幌冷たいうどん⑩軒☆289SEASON5 best food in Sapporo Japan(Subtitles:English,Thai,Korean,Chinese)

This time on Meshitabi Season 5 , we’re featuring 10 cold udon restaurants in Sapporo ! Let’s get started! ✨ Located on the second basement floor of Sapporo Chanter, 1 Minami 1-jo Nishi 1, “Udon no Shikoku” serves Sanuki udon. It’s the only udon restaurant in the Kabe no Ana group , which also operates Italian restaurants . Times have changed, haven’t they? Udon restaurants serving Italian food… or rather, Italian chains serving udon! Hey, I’m surprised! It’s like McDonald’s just started serving okonomiyaki! Oh no, that doesn’t look very appetizing ! 💦 Oh, the tempura bowl looks delicious ! Right? ♪ The interior has a Japanese feel, and it’s a relaxing place to dine. ♬ It’s called Shikoku, but… It ‘s a full-service restaurant, not a self-service restaurant, like Sanuki! There are three summer-only items, and we picked this one, which looks refreshing! ✨ Summer vegetable tempura and sudachi chilled soy sauce . Wow, it looks so refreshing ! Yes, this Sudachi Chilled Udon has thin noodles that are smooth and easy to eat! The dried sardine broth is delicious, as expected♬ The tartness and aroma of the Sudachi make it refreshing✨ The tempura was also crisp and delicious ♬ The unexpected ingredients are great♬ The cherry tomatoes were deep-fried too, and the bitter melon was delicious♬ Bitter melon? Bitter melon~ What a good boy♬ Is n’t it bitter? Bitter is delicious‼ But how do they fry the tomatoes without them bursting ? Ah, they poke holes in them with a toothpick, don’t they? I bet… Huh‼ Don’t they just peel off like Marimo Yokan ? I can’t peel it‼ I can’t peel it‼ Wow… I see, let’s try it‼ Summer vegetables and light udon noodles are perfect for the hot summer♬ It was delicious ! They also have an izakaya menu, and apparently they have classic drinks for 200 yen during happy hour from 5pm to 7pm ‼ It’s so cheap‼ It’s not something this small, is it? No, not a sake cup! It’s a mug! A mug! Oh, it’s amazing! 2 Hachiken “Udonya Komugi” is a very popular, long-established donburi restaurant in Hachiken. It’s lunchtime, so it’s packed with customers, men and women of all ages, coming in one after another! Anyway, I’ve decided to have my udon in “kake” (soaked udon)… and yet it’s a cold udon special?! And it’s 34 degrees Celsius?! Yes, I do! The broth is the deciding factor ! Udon is the key, after all! But the guy with the huge upper arms next to me is eating Zaru Udon, and it looks incredibly delicious! Argh! I’m determined to come back and eat it again! How greedy can you be? Yes, kake udon! I ‘ll have my favorite shrimp tempura bukkake. Oh, and of course I asked for the tempura flakes to be served separately! ♬ An old man who worships deep-fried food! Hehe, the medium- thick noodles have a firm texture, so it’s better to chew them well rather than slurp them ♬ You can really smell the wheat, and the sweetness of the broth isn’t too strong. It was a refined bukkake and it was delicious. The bukkake is definitely Hokkaido-style, with a strong bonito broth that’s a flavor I’ve been used to since I was a child. The noodles are probably the same as the bukkake noodles, but they’re warm and just the right softness, just the right type of noodle my grandpa likes ♬ Mmm, this is delicious in its own way!! But!! It’s half price in Kyushu, right? That’s right!! How can they survive at that price with such high prices? Udon restaurants in Kyushu… really!! How many people in Kyushu eat udon? It makes you wonder… it’s really true!! Then, I was so curious about the Zaru udon that I ended up coming back that same day!! Unexpectedly , it’s my second time today, Komugi-san , they’re back!! I’m a little worried that they might have been whispering about it… but it’s a whisper , isn’t it? ♬ Surely there’s no way there’d be someone who comes twice a day? No matter how much you like udon… no , surely there are? Surely there’d be up to three times? With Zaru, the noodles are super thin and shiny✨Smooth and silky smooth‼ This is my favorite type, Oji-chan, and even cold ones are good with these‼ I prefer thick, reliable noodles… wouldn’t it be delicious if you squeezed some yuzu into this Zaru dipping sauce ? Ah, that sounds good♬ Should we bring some yuzu? You can’t bring your own, right? I wonder if yuzu won’t work? 3 Kotoni “Udon-tei” A long-established udon restaurant in Kotoni. Udon-tei is said to have been started in 1976 by someone who quit his job. They started out in a house with about 30 seats across from their current store, do you remember? No, I don’t remember at all… eh, is that right? It’s lunchtime, so the place is bustling with local business lunchers ! There are two types of summer udon : spicy chilled and sticky, and I can’t decide which one to get. Ah, the temptation of spicy and sticky, isn’t it? Should I get the refreshing mango… or the La France? That’s right. Looking around, I see quite a few people sweating in the 32°C temperature while eating the classic nabeyaki udon ! Seriously! It’s that popular… nabeyaki… I have to go try it! Right? Yes, spicy chilled udon! The ingredients are definitely chilled Chinese noodles… but the bowl is the silver one used for reimen, so it’s a bit confusing while eating, isn’t it? Ah, at first glance, I think it’s chilled Chinese noodles ? Right? The udon is firm and has a strong, smooth texture! For those who like noodles, this firmness is a delight ♬ Men’s favorite? No, it’s not!! So, what do you mean? Maybe it’s not my cup of tea? Maybe… If you like spicy food , you can adjust the spiciness with the chili oil that comes with it ♬ It’s great to be able to adjust the spiciness yourself!! Right !! 4 Kita 31 Jo East 19 Mugi no Sato is a restaurant we often introduce on Meshitabi! Apparently, they have a keema curry udon created by Garaku, a famous soup curry restaurant ! Yeah, that sounds fun! So , what kind of curry udon is it? Here it is! Apparently, ingredients like onions, carrots, minced meat, and aromatic vegetables are simmered in a fond de veau sauce to perfectly complement the udon! Wow, so it’s made with fond de veau… Really! Hmm, the mild spiciness and Japanese-style broth are delicious! I almost drank it all! Just drink it ! No, no! The salt and calories in soup are incredible! But this isn’t cold udon, is it? This time, we’re featuring cold udon… but… Curry is the best in summer! That’s right, don’t be so cold ♬ Muginosato’s unique flat noodles and rich keema go really well together ♬ They also serve spices so you can adjust the spiciness to your liking, which is a nice plus ♪ It costs an additional 130 yen to get a mini bowl of rice, and although I was really tempted, I gritted my teeth and held back this time!! Hmmm!! But it’s an unexpected collaboration, isn’t it? It turns out that the owner of Garaku used to work at Muginosato!! Wow!! Surprising!? And while they were going back and forth between their respective stores, Muginosato suggested that they could do a collaboration between keema curry and udon, and that’s how it was born!! It’s apparently Spicy Keema Curry Udon ♬ So it was Muginosato who first suggested it… but isn’t it more surprising that Garaku used to work at Muginosato⁉ It ‘s like the story of how Onosato used to be a Fighters Girl⁈ Why⁉ 5 New ♨ York Nango “Nango no Yu” This is also one of my favourite facilities in Sapporo♨ Eh? Why?⁈ Yes, it’s because it has a really crackling cold bath‼ That’s right!! It’s great that you can relax in a cold bath that’s a consistent 12-13°C ♨ and it’s relatively empty! Even in the middle of summer, it’s rock-hard! 💦 The 20-second limit cold bath will instantly warm you up! Right?! There’s also ample outdoor bathing space, and it’s revolutionary that you can access the high-temperature indoor sauna directly from the outdoor bath ! Ah, that’s great! ♬ I wonder who came up with that idea? That… double-entry sauna, which you can enter from both the indoor and outdoor baths. ♨ The double doors prevent the outside air from directly entering the sauna room, which is fantastic! Plus, the food in the post-bath area is super cheap! Oh, that’s right! Ramen for 480 yen, cold soba noodles for 330 yen, etc. I’ve never tried it, but… I usually go for this! This soft serve ice cream is 250 yen! You’ll definitely get to try it! ♬ Plus, it’s half-price ice cream day! Right! The 26th of every month is Bath Day ♨ A decent-sized soft serve ice cream for just 150 yen!! You’ll definitely want to try this!! Wow ~ In a city of 1 million , Sapporo is probably the only place that even offers a sauna for 500 yen , right? Right!! Thanks to Sapporo City for the best sauna value 6 “Today’s Katsu Curry” Kita 18-jo Nishi 7 “Jiyujinsha Tokikan” I knew that Jiyujinsha Tokikan, which closed in 2021 due to an aging building, reopened last year, but I haven’t been able to come for a while, right? My Katsu Curry Uncle!! That’s right!! This time, they’re featuring cold udon, so I was looking for various things… Eh, what? Tokikan is doing curry udon, isn’t it? Because this time it’s a cold udon feature, right? There’s cold oroshi katsu udon and curry udon, so what ? Maybe they could do cold grated daikon daikon curry udon too ? I was thinking… ” Is that so ?” Yes, that’s right! I requested a cold, grated daikon radish curry udon, which isn’t normally available… but they flatly refused, saying they’d never tried that before . Well, of course! So, what about curry udon? I asked, and they said, “Yes, we can do that!” So , here it is. Katsu curry udon! It’s huge, and it even comes with rice! I’m happy and embarrassed… The students would be thrilled, but it’s too much for an old man like me! Chicken! I asked for chicken , but I ordered it! Yeah, I couldn’t leave any! So, I ate it all up, but it’s high in calories! Fufufufu , but it’s surprisingly rare, isn’t it? Katsu curry udon… In Sapporo? It’s more of a minority than curry ramen. Now that you mention it, I guess it was a Hokkaido University student? The young people were eating curry! An old man eating katsu curry udon among the young people ! I accidentally finished it all💦 I’m dreading tomorrow’s weigh-in💧It was delicious♬ Actually, I’ve already had katsu curry udon a few times this year … yeah, mainly in Kyushu…but this was the most delicious katsu curry udon I’ve had this year ♬Yes‼All the katsu curry udon I’ve eaten up until now have been shelved, right? Is that so…That’s why I was so happy♬ The cannabis store has closed down too, hasn’t it? Omishee?Hehehe fufufuIs that so… One after another, the stores in Sapporo and Seoul are disappearing… So the revival of [Tokikan] has allowed me to rewind stopped time.Time ~♬Stop ~ To all Nagachan fans, I’m very sorry <(_ _)> I’m sorry🙏 7. Marugame Seimen Marugame Seimen was founded in November 2000 in Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture . Eh? Hyogo Prefecture? Marugame City is in Kagawa Prefecture, right? What? What does that mean? Well, this seems to have incurred a lot of ire from the people of Kagawa Prefecture… Basically, it seems that a company in Hyogo Prefecture linked the name of their udon restaurant to Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture, as an image strategy… Really ? Isn’t it Kagawa udon? This… Well, like Kaiten Sushi Hokkaido in Tottori or Tokyo Disneyland in Chiba? Yes, yes , or like Yakiniku Resort Hawaii in Susukino ? Huh? What’s that? There’s such a thing? But I actually quite like Marugame’s udon‼ Oichan… this is exactly‼ It’s Kagawa udon restaurant style‼ This time, Aya-chan was eating it with such gusto, right? I was tempted and came to have some‼ Aya-chan is… Ueto Aya?! The Umashio she’s eating in the commercial?! Yes. This year, it’s filled with plenty of clams, plump shrimp tempura, and some kind of deep-fried shrimp, so you can enjoy a variety of textures and flavors♬ It was so cute‼ Her big, delicious-looking smile…♬ Talking about udon and Ueto Aya got all mixed up💦Ah !! The Reiki Oroshi Niku Bukkake is delicious too♬ I really like Marugame♬ Even though they’ve expanded nationwide, every place is pretty crowded, isn’t it⁈ Right? In that case, everyone, if you go to Kyushu, try some udon♬ There’s plenty of delicious stuff in Fukuoka alone, right?⁈ There is‼ The broth is delicious♬ The broth‼ Hey, I fell in love with the cold yuzu udon at “Kineya” in 8 Yenyama. I’ll find it for my dad … What a good wife ♪ Thank you ♪ Or will I say that myself⁉ Hehehe , there’s a udon dish in Miyazaki called “Togakushi udon” !! I really like it!! The udon noodles served with a yuzu-flavored broth are delicious♬ I just can’t help but want to eat it again! I want to eat it so badly! I’m going to Miyazaki♬ Now, how about Sapporo’s yuzu udon? I hope you like it… It’s delicious♪ The tempura was also crispy and refreshing . The udon had a smooth texture!! It’s nothing special, but… this is it!! It’s delicious♬ The zucchini tempura was great . Zucchini?! That’s unusual, isn’t it? I’m not really a fan… Zucchini ? Huh? Why? Try it? I was confused at first, but… You’ll get used to it soon! Really? Maybe you’ll like it… You’ll get used to it, soon! 9. Yamanote “Teraya” Green, located in Yamanote, Nishi Ward, is one of my favorite udon restaurants in Hokkaido! I missed it this time 💦 My feet got caught in the winter footage … But I couldn’t leave out Teraya in this udon special ! That’s right , after trying their udon, I wanted to try it in the original Sanuki! After all, it’s no exaggeration to say that this restaurant awakened Green, who was a soba fan, to udon! That’s right! But of course, I love soba too ! Yes. These udon noodles were so chewy and manly! So thick! My weak lung capacity couldn’t suck it up! Kagawa-style udon is truly something! Yes, the chewiness was among the best I’ve ever eaten in my life ! But… the udon itself has a flavor, and it ‘s not just udon with a simple texture … it has both strength and elegance‼ Oh, and the oden too♬ The broth was soaked in and it was amazing♬ Yes, yes, having a bowl of oden while waiting for the udon is the Kagawa style , isn’t it♬ The oden with spicy miso was delicious‼ It’s nice to be able to taste the gentle udon of real Kagawa so close by♬ Thank you for doing it in Yamanote <(_ _)> 10 Tobetsu “Kabato Noodle Factory” And finally, this one‼ Ah, it’s not exactly in Sapporo, but it’s nearby, so please come along. Shinachiku is the restaurant with the longest queue in the Sapporo area ‼ Yes, I don’t want to wait in line in this scorching sun ‼ So… a secret technique‼ It seems like the hours are off‼ So this time I came just before closing time♬ Plan succeeded‼ It’s the first time I’ve been able to get in so easily here‼ It’s always good to change the time!♬ This time, I’m having cold udon, so I’m going for Sanuki-style soy sauce udon, with no “zaru” option . I’ll have the foolish “kake” (soy sauce udon)!! And, I missed out on ordering the garland chrysanthemum, eggplant , soft-boiled egg tempura, and basil tempura last time . YEAH !! This is my first time trying basil tempura, and it’s irresistible for basil lovers!♬ I was expecting two or three pieces of shiso tempura, but… this is what you’d expect from Kabato Noodle Factory! Fufufu, it was amazing! I didn’t expect so much basil in the basil tempura!💦 Ah, next time I’d like to have a basil tempura bowl! Isn’t that a bit too far-fetched? Authentic Sanuki-style udon in this natural setting is the best!♬ The price is also reasonable. Not as good as Shikoku or Kyushu, but still pretty reasonable, isn’t it? For Hokkaido , it would have been better if the season had been a little less hot, but… It was an afternoon in Tobetsu where I became addicted to bajji tempura ♬ It was a little too hot to eat outside 💦 Yes, it was crazy 💦 Next time I go to Meshitabi, I’ll definitely want to eat at Mikasa again. Viva Bibai . Look forward to it ♬ SEE YOU SOON Udon… I thought I didn’t need udon in my life at all. Yes, it’s me too . Until I tried the real thing in Sanuki, Shikoku… well , I didn’t really notice much difference in the udon … but the noodles?! Yes. The soup is delicious♬, right ? The broth is amazing!! If I had to choose, I would imagine Hokkaido udon to be a slightly salty bonito broth . Yeah, yeah, it was kind of salty and I didn’t want it, but… it’s not salty at all, is it? Western udon is… a little sweet, but… like a natural dried sardine, yeah… not that sugary, sweet taste, right? That’s right!! That’s what’s good about it, the old man ♬ who said, “Bring as much as you want … if it’s the soup!” said that (lol) right . It’s so hard because I drink it all at every restaurant !! And then there’s the one with the strong dried sardine flavor, the one with the strong kelp flavor? The one with the yuzu flavor… there’s a whole variety, and the noodles… they’re so soft you’re like, ” It can’t get any softer!” They’re like, you could even cut them with your chopsticks… I thought Marugame Seimen’s noodles were pretty soft… but I was wrong! If you go to Kyushu, Marugame is really on the firmer side , right? What was it called? That udon over there that looks like thick mochi… ahhh Miyake udon? Ah, maybe? Yeah… and there are smooth ones, and some that have a bit more chew, right? Yeah, anyway, everyone’s eating udon! Everyone ‘s eating it! It’s crowded! Yeah, and it’s cheap! Udon is cheap too. Well, we mostly eat regular-sized, or small, but it’s in the 200-300 yen range, right? Yeah, that’s right… you can add tempura and whatever and it’s about 500 yen? That’s how it’s set up, so it’s really half the price, right? It feels like food for the common people, and Fukuoka in particular has a lot of different things concentrated together and there’s a lot of delicious food ♬ Yeah, that’s right , there are direct trains, so if you’re interested, why not go and check it out? You can definitely go drinking in Nakasu ♬ The food stalls by the river are indescribable ♬ Yeah, they have some great gyoza too‼ That’s right ♬ Everything is delicious ♬ In some places it smells like ramen, so be careful‼ Hahaha, isn’t it? It’s like the Yamaokaya phenomenon in Hokkaido , right? Yes. It’s in some places. It smells really strong, so as long as you avoid those places, you’ll be fine. Meshitabi My recommendation is Nagahama Ramen, the gentlest ramen in Japan is in Fukuoka‼ That’s right ♬ That’s really green, you could eat it every day …
