We Bought Our Dream Motorcycle for More Thailand Adventures š¹š (NEW Zontes 368G!)
Are you ready for the grandĀ
reveal of our brand new motorbike? Ready? Yeah. We literally just got this. Our dreamĀ
bike. Our dream bike. I mean your dream bike. And you told me that it is our dream bike. You likeĀ
it too, right? I do like it. So this is the Zontes the all new Zontes 368G. They call it adventureĀ
touring bike or a big scooter. It doesn’t have a clutch or gears. You just have to accelerate.Ā
It’s equivalent to which is the more popular bike we see around Honda ADV or Forza. But this one isĀ
actually a little bit more powerful 368. So about 40 horsepower and it can go pretty fast. I thinkĀ
top speed is 150 to 160 km per hour, but we will never drive that fast. We’ll never go that fast. IĀ
did 110 before and it was pretty easy. Yeah. Look at this. She is beautiful. Beautiful. We went withĀ
this ginger desert was it ginger desert brown? I think it’s a great choice. Everything you seeĀ
here comes equipped. The only extra things are few small items that we bought. There’s this crash barĀ
that comes with it, spotlight, the shield that you can adjust up or down. And if you come over here,Ā
look, this is pretty cool. It’s a full color LCD screen, and it has tire pressure indicators.Ā
You can adjust different modes and different interface, and it also has front camera and rearĀ
camera. So, for me, I don’t really understand all of what’s going on on the driver’s side, butĀ
what I really care about is the seat in the back. It is very comfortable and it’s wider and moreĀ
spacious than our previous bike. It does sit a bit higher. So, it’s taking me some time to get usedĀ
to just sitting higher and looking I can actually look over Note. It’s a very comfortable bike forĀ
longer trips. We haven’t gone on a long trip yet, but we will once we get used to this bike. We’reĀ
going to take it around the island today up to the mountain to test how it handles and also test outĀ
our new camera equipments because we never film motor vlog before. Yeah, usually it’s just meĀ
sitting in the back just like filming B-roll of different things. But but yeah, we’re trying toĀ
actually attach the camera to see what it would look like when we’re driving and talking. WeĀ
never really owned proper helmets before. I got the black one and and I’m the white Power Ranger.Ā
Yeah, we do look like Power Rangers when we put them on though. It’s so heavy. Like my neck isĀ
still adjusting to the weight of this helmet. It’s at least what, a kilo? Look at this. ThisĀ
is pretty cool. It’s really tight on the cheeks, but you said that’s the right way, right?Ā
Better protected. You feel very protected. It’s hugging your cheek and your face. I’m goingĀ
to transform. Okay, you ready? Nice. Me, too. Power Rangers Oh, another thing I forgot to mention. It’sĀ
also keyless. This is actually the key. Okay. You ready for me to hop on? Yeah. Okay. This is pretty exciting. My bum isĀ
burning. Holy. We haven’t really named her yet, but we’re thinking of Storm or Stormy.Ā
So, before we go do something fun today, we actually have to stop by immigrationĀ
to pick up my visa. So, I’m on a spouse visa. So then every year I have to renew it. SoĀ
today we just have to pick it up and then we can go do something exciting that you planned. Yes.Ā
Something we haven’t done before on the island. This is it. Koh Samui immigration.Ā
A small humble immigration office You good? My gosh, so hot. We look likeĀ
we took a shower already. At least the lineup’s not too bad at immigrationĀ
today. It’s actually one of the better immigration offices in Thailand. We used to do allĀ
our visa stuff in Chiang Mai when we lived there, and we would be there for hours, like 3 toĀ
4 hours each time. And usually you have to get up at 5:00am to line up. Yeah. Or you canĀ
pay someone to line up for you and you’re the first one in at like 8:00am. But here it’s aĀ
lot more relaxed and hopefully we’re just in and out in half an hour or less. Island vibe,Ā
you know. We should bring our helmets with us, right? Yeah. They’re like 3,000 Baht a piece.Ā
We can’t leave it here anymore. Have a camera on it too. How about the jacket? Should I put myĀ
jacket in? Let me put it inside. You want to put yours inside? No, you have something in there.Ā
You have a camera in here. Okay, put it inside. Thailand is pretty safe, babe. But you’re right.Ā
Don’t tempt people. Yeah, better safe than sorry. All good. All good. They let youĀ
stay in Thailand for another year? All good for another year. Another year ofĀ
adventure in Thailand. It is much quicker, though. It was about half an hour. GotĀ
everything. So, let’s go eat some lunch at one of our favorite places that weĀ
almost always stop and eat at when we go to immigration. And then we are going toĀ
go do some adrenaline things. Yeah. Zipline! I miss Rocket’s AC. I love your shirt. ThankĀ
you. I have so many cats. I’m also wearing a cat shirt. Yeah, I got that shirt for you,Ā
too. That could be Ella. Look at how cute that is. I think people by now know we are aĀ
bit crazy cat people. Yeah, crazy cat people. Somewhere cool. Maybe here. Yeah. A littleĀ
change of plans. The place that we wanted to go by immigration was closed. So we come hereĀ
to our second favorite restaurant in Maenam. Yeah. It’s called Lookkha Kitchen. They’veĀ
actually expanded so it’s much nicer. It used to be just that side. Now they have allĀ
of this seating on this side. And the food is really really good. Food is good. Service isĀ
good. The owner, the lady just gave us the menu. Always has a big smile on her face. What areĀ
you going to get today? The usual dirt chicken. Chicken mixed with dirt. I’ll show you why theyĀ
call it that. Oh, what’s this one? Cold fresh coconut. Oh, I want coconut. And prices hereĀ
are pretty good. 80 Baht, 100 Baht, 60 Baht, local prices, and tons of choices. It’s 60Ā
Baht for smoothies, which is really good. Wow. I get the big one. Okay. You get to finish itĀ
anyways. I never finish it. They’re humongous. This is so nice. Did we choose the wrong day toĀ
go ziplining? Maybe we chose the hottest day. But we chose the right island to live in becauseĀ
we love coconuts and Koh Samui is actually known for some of the best coconuts in all of Thailand.Ā
A lot of the coconut plantations are in the south of the island. And I think there was somethingĀ
about the water is salty because it’s an island so it’s surrounded by salt water and that’s whyĀ
the trees grow extra sweet coconut. It’s true for Koh Samui and also Koh Phangan because when weĀ
were in Chiang Mai at the coconut plantation they add a lot of salt onto the coconut trees at theĀ
bottom so they would develop that sweetness. But it’s natural over here. Do you want to share whatĀ
your plans are for our new bike? I want to do road trips throughout Thailand, mostly in the south.Ā
For now, we can start in the south. Maybe go back to the provinces we have been before, but checkĀ
out the new parts, all the hidden gems. And then also trying to get a few friends, including PaddyĀ
Doyle and his Zelda to join us to drive to Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. Yeah, that would be funĀ
cuz we’re actually pretty close. Aren’t we closer to the Malaysian border than to Bangkok? It’sĀ
actually only 14 hours drive from here to Cameron Highlands and 16 hours drive from here to ChiangĀ
Mai. So with the bike, it really opens up the opportunity for us to do so much more exploring.Ā
And I also like being on the bike, that air, that feeling of freedom when you’re on a bike and youĀ
can stop quickly anywhere. Yeah. I think the best way to travel Thailand is by motorbike becauseĀ
you get to absorb that Thailand atmosphere. What did you end up getting? I got the pad pongĀ
karee talay which is stir fried yellow curry with seafood on rice. I’ve actuallyĀ
never ordered this one here before, but I wanted to try something different thisĀ
time cuz I I know they already have really good like green curry chicken beef salad andĀ
what’s the other one I like to get? Pad See Eew. Tom yum. We already tried all of that. So, I thought todayĀ
let me try this. It looks really good though. Nice. Mhm. And I got the chicken mixed withĀ
dirt. They call it this because it looks like it’s mixed with dirt, but it’s just black pepperĀ
and some sesame, I think. But it’s not a thing that you find often. No, it’s only here. I thinkĀ
you get that 9 times out of 10 when you’re here. We’re here. Looks like lots of people. Okay. You think she’s good here? Mhm. Wow.Ā
Stormy is so sexy. She looks good. She’s a sexy beast. See you later, Stormy. We are here atĀ
Tree Bridge Zipline Samui. We’ve lived in Samui for five years and we’ve never done zipliningĀ
here before, but we heard it’s quite fun, so we thought we would try it and also show youĀ
guys who are coming to Samui something new to do. I already heard people screaming over there. I’mĀ
excited. I’m excited because I was on GetYourGuide and one of the most popular activities toĀ
do is zipline. Yeah. Lots of good reviews. why did we not do that before? It’s actually not just a zipline place. They alsoĀ
have a cafe here as well. So I think some people just come for coffee and watch people scream,Ā
basically. We’re also very high up. So you can see the ocean from here. Nice. And it’s stillĀ
in Maenam. It’s in that path kind of like the shortcut from Maenam to Nathon which we will driveĀ
later on to show you guys more of this path. And we thought it would be fun to take this becauseĀ
usually it’s quite difficult and quite steep, but with the bike it’s really really easy andĀ
it’s a beautiful drive in the mountains of Samui Wow, this is beautiful. Hi. It’sĀ
like Pirates of the Caribbean vibe. Oh, the guy just went over me rightĀ
here. Oh, yeah. There’s a station here. This place is nice. So nice and very lively too. I feel like you have now conquered your fear ofĀ
heights and you’re excited for this, right? Not scared anymore. Yeah. I’m actually surprised howĀ
busy and popular this is. Are you bringing your phone? No. Okay. Just in case. Yeah. I don’t wantĀ
to drop it. Phone and wallet. I like that they have a locker for us. It’s been a while. Wow. It’sĀ
tight, huh? Yeah. A little bit uncomfortable. Oh, you get gloves. Oh, I guess they don’t mind ifĀ
you carry a phone or a camera or anything. No, I think you can. Yeah. Yeah. Everyone’s justĀ
taking whatever. They just think that if you want to lose them, it’s your choice. Your life.Ā
Your choice. Maybe you should drive down the path. Walk down the path. You’ll pick up a lot ofĀ
electronics, a lot of phones and cameras. And we have to put these safety gloves on. I think we mayĀ
have to use this to break or to slow down. This me? Yeah. Right. You would use this to slow down?Ā
I think so. I think they will tell us. I mean, I hope they will tell us. So far, they haven’t toldĀ
us anything. Yes. So far, there’s no instruction, nothing. The first one is already quite highĀ
actually. We going all the way up there. Okay, hold here Lean back? Yeah. Lean back. WatchĀ
your head. Put your knees up at the end. Okay. You got this. IĀ
got this. Okay. See you. Bye. Put your knees up at the end. Okay, here you go. Oh no, I’m going backwards. Yeah, please. Thank you. That was quite scary. YouĀ
didn’t hesitate at all. Well, I jumped I jumped off and then he’sĀ
like, “Wait.” I was like, “What?” Please make sure you clip everything. One, two, enough? Maybe? Yeah? My firstĀ
day today. My first day. Your first day? Okay. Good. Sorry. Sorry. But I’m doing good.Ā
You’re doing good. Yeah. I’m doing good for now. No one die. No one yet. Okay.Ā
See you. Lean back. Okay. Two. One. Okay. Yeah. See you. Okay. Bye. Bye. IĀ
have to jump? Okay. Jump. Jump. Have fun. Okay. So far, it’s a lot of fun.Ā
I’m glad we’re doing this. I feel young again. It’s good for de-stressing. Bye. My bad. It works every time when you say, “Oh, no.” I get scared everyĀ
time. Okay. See you You saw the ocean view of that one? Yeah, thatĀ
was a nice one. That was epic. And I ran out and jumped. That one had a bit of space for you toĀ
run. Compared to the other zip lines we’ve done, you feel safe? I feel very safe. And they’reĀ
quite funny, actually. They’re quiet at first, but once you get to know them, they’re quiteĀ
funny. They like to jump scare you and every single time you get off they right away hookĀ
you to another cable or something for safety reasons so you’re always hooked on to somethingĀ
so it’s Yeah, it’s feels pretty safe. Very family friendly as well. Yeah. Oh, these areĀ
durian trees, babe. Look, there’s some on the tree. You can see them. They’re so small. Well,Ā
right now it’s almost durian season for Samui, so we haven’t had a chance to eat the ones fromĀ
here yet, but usually after August is when they start coming. So, yeah, you can see they’re stillĀ
there. They’re so small. That one’s bigger. So, we’re hiking to the final platform. ThisĀ
one’s supposed to be the highest. Be careful. There’s a crossing. The highest. TheĀ
longest one. There’s a crossing. 500 450 m. You know what would be nice for a hot day likeĀ
today? Jump in the ocean. Yes, please. Let’s have a cold drink and then let’s go find a beachĀ
and jump in the ocean. Yeah. It’s so crazy hot today. This is a very profitable business. Yeah.Ā
Very right? Yeah. It’s probably like a fifth or six of the price what it is at home as well.Ā
125 to 150 quid for one person. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good luck. Oh, no. No. You can get a jobĀ
here. Okay. Oh, you forgot to clip the last one. Wow. My god. Thank you so much again. It’s fun. They’re taking really goodĀ
care of us here. Ready. Woohoo. Good job, babe. That was fun. That was real hotĀ
and sweaty too. Look at how wet my gloves are. Oh my god. We are now going to the hidden cafe. HaveĀ
to cross this beautiful wooden bridge. Oh yeah. It’s refreshing. My shirt is all wet. IĀ
was thinking the shirt I got you wasn’t this dark color. Yeah, it’s so hot. Even theĀ
guys operating the zip lines, they’re like, it’s a really hot day there, but it’s packedĀ
with people here. If you want to do the same, we booked it on GetYourGuide and we paid about $57Ā
per person. Yeah. But there’s actually multiple different like listings on GetYourGuide that rangeĀ
from like $50 to $70. So you can pick whichever you like, but we will leave the link of the oneĀ
that we picked in our description. It’s a really a lot of fun. We started at what time was it? AtĀ
3:30pm Mhm. And it’s about almost 5pm. Yeah. So it’s almost an hour and a half of fun for thatĀ
price is pretty good. Yeah. And we get to see a different side of Koh Samui too. All right. YouĀ
ready? Yeah. Let’s go to the beach. Cool down. So, this is Maenam Beach. All right. One of ourĀ
favorite beaches here on the island. It’s probably the calmst beach. Yeah. And it’s a really longĀ
stretch of beach here with some nice resorts. Oh, the water looks so calm. I remember it’sĀ
like a family-friendly beach because the water is pretty shallow at this beach.Ā
Which way should we go? I think we should go that way. Yeah. Look at this side. This sideĀ
looks nice, too. I put everything in my helmet. Are you sure you’re ready to leave me and thisĀ
island for 3 weeks? No. Are you sure you want to do that? This is too nice. I don’t want to leaveĀ
yet. Well, I have to leave. I have to leave you for 3 weeks. But I will miss this island and I’llĀ
miss you. Where are you going? I’m taking you guys with me, though. I’m going to go to Hong KongĀ
and go to Taiwan for 3 weeks by myself, but I will also be seeing my family there. So, it’ll beĀ
just a nice time for a little solo traveling. And I thought I would challenge myself as well to vlogĀ
the experience and it’ll be fun for you to edit, right? Oh, wow. I’ve missed the beach. I missĀ
the salty water. This is so nice. This is perfect.

Wow! Congratulations! What a beautiful motorcycle! I can't wait to see you exploring Thailand and the surrounding countries, and maybe visit Singapore. I used to own my Honda VFR1200 for riding to work because of the traffic in the Los Angeles area, which allowed me to maneuver through it. It looks like your bike is already set up for video. Get some rain gear so you can travel in all weather conditions! Also, wireless radios for communication between the two of you while riding and filming. Another suggestion, if available in Thailand, is to install an air conditioner that will blow cool air through your suits. The suit will also protect you in case of falling. Have fun with your new bike, and can't wait to see your next video.
Oooohhh Samui. Really miss that coconut Island.
Congrats with your own little Dreamy. Drive carefully.
Zip-lining looks fun!
The zip lining looked like soooo much fun! Creamy coconuts ahhhh, and your motorcycle is gorgeous (as are the cat shirts, I want some too)! Stay safe~ š
Congratulations on your new ride, it looks super cool! Not sure I would dare those zip lines because I"m so afraid of heights but it's great to watch this. Such a beautiful area!
Wow! That is a cool bike! š
I'm hoping you filmed the drone shots before the nationwide drone flying band ?
nice choose
Oh wow awesome bike š¤©š¤©š¤©congratulations guys, keep safeā¤
Congrats to Stormy.
very nice motorcycle! but uhm, put your helmets under the seat. Or just leave them on top, the chance of someone steeling them in Thailand is less then winning the lottery jackpot.
Since both of you loves cats, fly over to our Cat City aka Kuching in Sarawak…where you can visit a Cat Museum
Whats the latest with ur Jeep
