[Music] So, this is the lobby of the hotel. It’s very pretty. Lots of chairs to sit in. Uh, so this door here straight ahead, that’s coming from um the front of the the building. And then directly behind it, this is behind you can the uh back entrance. And um if you’re coming from like the boat transportation from either Epcot or Studios or any of the other Epcot resorts, this is the door you would enter the lobby through. Oh, and I did want to show you guys they have um a little fun thing to look for. Um, you’re supposed to look for this Flounder photo prop. You take a picture with him and then you take it to the front desk and you’ll get a free button. And we did find the Flounder. He actually was right here. Very easy to find. Here he is. All right. All right. So, we just continuing here through the lobby and we have the gift shop slashquick service food straight ahead. It’s called the marketplace and I will give a tour of the store. Thank you so much. All right. So, as soon as you come in here, you have um some beach club specific merchandise. We have kids shirt ornaments. We have a beach tail and some robes with the beach club logo on them. Here we have a tote bag, tumbler, a water bottle, And we have a men’s or unisex t-shirt. My ears, which uh are scented and they smell like ice cream. I think they kind of more to me, I get more of a chocolate smell from them. But either way, they’re delicious smelling and I will definitely be picking those up while I’m here today. And then we have this women’s t-shirt. The little knot detail on the end. I also love this shirt, too. I think I’m going to have to buy this for myself. Um, we have this 3/4 sleeve shirt down here. It’s a beaches and cream, which is a very popular restaurant/ ice cream parlor here. So, there’s that. We have a Loungefly. And then over here we have a zippered um 3/4 zip sweatshirt with the beast club lana. And then you just have your the rest of the store is pretty much your typical hotel souvenirs. You can get pins, you can get magic bands, keychains. Um they do have a t-shirt wall here. [Applause] They have some toys, some kids items, a small selection of ears, [Music] and since this uh part of se a section of this resort is for vacation club members, they do have some vacation club member merchandise. Okay, so um probably about 3/4 of this area is the store and then over here you have the quick service. So this is where you can just get grab and go food, sandwiches, they have sweets. Um over here you have your bagged candy and snacks. They do have, you know, bread and donuts, things that you would want for your room. the drink machines. They do have some chips, popcorn, looks like some wine, and this refrigerator here. I see Lunchables and milk. And they do have some frozen items for those of you with a vacation club villa. So, you know, you would have your full kitchen in those. So, they do have some uh kitchen items here. And then here’s where you would get your hot foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have things like in the morning you can get the, you know, egg and um bacon and sausage platters or the Mickey waffles. And then after breakfast, you can get um looks like I see meatballs and I believe they had hot dogs. and um hot sandwiches. They’re just looks like they’re pretty much just starting to get on the lunch side, so there’s no food out yet, but and over here you have the coffee section. And then they do have um necessity type items here as well. Sunscreen um deodorants, travel size items. So that’s all here. You can get this kind of stuff at any of the hotels in case there’s anything you forgot to pack. Of course, they have some toys and board games in case you need something to do in your room or you just need a souvenir to take home. [Music] All right, so we just got into our room. Hello everyone. See if I can get some lights on. There we go. Oh, it’s right. All right. So, we have double sink. We’ve got the toilet and the shower. There’s another room with the tub. And right as soon as you come into the door, it’s a little coffee station with um ice bucket. And then in here, we have our fridge. And then we have a closet here with hangers, extra pillow, blanket, and safe. All right. And then over here we have [Music] the uh two queen beds. And there’s a table in there. We have a desk and a chair. Uh, we’re only here for one night, so we weren’t too concerned with the view, but we just have resort view. And it looks like we got a tree. Resort view basically can be anything. It can be the parking lot. It can be a tree. [Music] And then here we have a couch, which looks like it is a pull out. this cute little paintings. Donald and his nephews. So cute. And here we have the TV and a dresser. So, it’s very nice. Maybe they didn’t bring enough. Decent size. We love it. All right. So, every evening here they have a campfire. You can roast marshmallows. The marshmallows and the sticks are no charge. Um, if you want to make s’mores, you do have to buy the graham cracker and chocolate kits. So, we are going to go toast some marshmallows. And it’s right here along the beach. And you can see the boardwalk hotel over there and the boat coming in. It’s very pretty. So, just to give you an idea of some of the activities they have here at the resort, um they do uh painting in the Martha’s Vineyard Lounge. There is a a fee for that. Um it says first come, first serve for the spots, so you can’t reserve that. They do uh movies under the stars. They are on the beach every night at 8:30. And there are also other activities here. Uh it lists the arcade which is right next to beaches and cream, the uh restaurant/ ice cream parlor here on property. And you can rent boats. Where are you going? And they also offer a Mickey tie-dye activity and a create your own nautical necklace activity. There is a fee for those two. All right. So we have our complimentary sticks here. super long sticks and we have our complimentary marshmallows. We opted not to do the s’mores because after this we are heading over to Beaches and Cream to get some ice cream. So, we’re just going to stick with the marshmallows for now. [Music] Oh, that is a burnt marshmallow. Oh, yeah. Let’s see. Tanya’s top. Not too bad. Yeah, just the top. Liam’s got like almost the whole thing. Leah, let’s see how you’re doing. Oh, you didn’t even get anything yet. Nice. Oh, Liam, you have like a nice coating all around that marshmallow. Are you getting it? Oh, you’re starting to get a little brown. Look at that. So, here is the s’mores kit. It is $7. So cute. No, you’re fine. Mickeyshaped. Very cute. So, here in the lobby, they have the Kate May Cafe Restaurant. All right. So, for the morning hours, they offer a Minnie’s Beach Bash breakfast, which we did do while we were here, and we are making a separate vlog out of that. So, uh, keep an eye on our page for that blog. And then for dinner time, they offer a seafood buffet. And there you go. So, breakfast is from 7:30 to 11:30 and dinner is 5 to 9:00. Characters are only at breakfast. They are not at dinner. And they are both both meals are all you can eat buffets. So here you can see this is the Kate May Cafe restaurant. Right now they are serving dinner and you can very much smell the seafood. And right next to Kate May Cafe Restaurant, we have Marthur’s Vineyard Lounge. This is the lounge for the beach club resort. This is also where they hold the um painting classes. So, this is Beaches and Cream to Go. Um Beaches and Cream restaurant is right next to it, but this is a um just a walk up window. You can get your ice cream. [Music] All right, we got our ice cream from Beaches and Cream. We got some rainbow sherbet here. Some more rainbow sherbet over there. Tanya got a cookies and cream shake. So cute. these Oreos for Mickey ears. And I got a very messy double scoop of mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream. The cookies and creams down there on the bottom. Yum. And we are sitting right outside of Beaches and Cream. There’s the pickup window that you can just get ice cream at. Yum. [Music] All right, so we are currently in the arcade. Sorry, it’s a little loud in here. Um, over here they have the kiosks where you get a uh purchase a game card and it’s a pretty decent size. Not too big, not too small. Pretty good selection of games. Kind of a little bit of everything. Some ski ball, some air hockey, basketball. So they have these massage chairs racing games. So pretty cool. Just want to show you guys our game card. It’s so cute. Mickey Mouse players card. I was just expecting like a generic game card. I wasn’t expecting Mickey on it. So this is so cool. I would. Leah wanted to play this fishing game. It’s actually pretty cool. He’s doing well. [Music] Wow, you got it. Look how big that fish is. And we have Tanya and Liam over here playing a Nerf game. So, we do have some friends with us here celebrating Tanya’s birthday and her kids are here. [Music] Very cute. All right, Liam’s playing uh Whack the Clowns. How’d you do? Oh, you did pretty good. All right, so from this resort, you can actually see some of the luminous fireworks. Epcot is right over there across the water. And um just so you have an idea of where this bridge is. So right here is the beach club uh and the lobby area that we walked from. And you have the yacht club, Swan and Dolphin, and the boardwalk over there. And this is the bridge. This is what you would use to walk over to Epcot. And the fireworks will be starting very soon. You should be able to see some of it. As you can see, it does draw quite a crowd. This right here is the international gateway entrance to Epcot. So, this is one of the friendship boats that goes between Epcot and Studios and all the resorts along the way. All right, so we just finished watching Luminous. That was pretty cool. Uh the only thing there, they do not pipe the music in over here like they do at the Magic Kingdom resorts. All right, so it is time to give you a tour of Stormalong Bay, which is probably the what is the beach what the uh beach club is the most famous for. This is the pool. It is 3 acres and it’s lots of different sections of pool. Um, and it is all sand bottom. Um, I personally was not a fan of that. Uh, that’s probably an unpopular opinion, but uh, yeah, I didn’t like it. Um, not a big fan of walking on sand um, while trying to relax in the pool. So, um anyway, there’s a slide here and uh it leads you into this pool which is a 4ft deep section. Uh there’s all different sections uh all different heights or depth I guess should say depth. They do check to make sure that you are a guest of the hotel. Um and they give you a wristband. It’s very um secure. They are very big on that here. Um I imagine they’ve had a lot of problems in the past where people try to get into this pool. It is very popular, very large. And the sand bottom makes it extremely unique. Up there you have a sund deck, a bunch of lounge chairs. There are a lot of lounge chairs and tables around. [Music] [Music] And they do have complimentary lockers here for you to store your things. And they also do have nearby restrooms with showers. So that was an interesting uh feature that I found. And they do have hot tubs as well. I think I saw maybe three hot tubs. There’s a few. Definitely more than one. Here’s another one right here. And right now I’m walking over to the um the kitty section. Um there is no like splash pad area. I know a lot of the hotels usually have the pool and the splash pad area. There is no splash pad here. So the waterfalls make it very pretty, very relaxing, and lots of pathways and bridges to cross to get from one section to the other. Lots and lots of chairs and tables. Uh this section right here is three feet. All right. So here we are entering the uh shipwreck section. So there is a little pool over here and then the So you would climb up those stairs, come down the slide, and this is a three-foot section. [Music] Say it’s a little quieter over here. I think most people don’t maybe not realize it’s over here. It’s like separated from the main pool. Of course, the slide is uh very popular, though. There’s uh two slides. There’s a larger one um that takes you up there. They’re waiting for the the tube slide. It takes you to the other section of the pool. Or you can just have this small kid-friendly slide that drops you off into the three-foot section. All right. So, here you can see all those people that were waiting at the top of the stairs. They are waiting to go down this slide here. It’s a tube slide. and then it will drop them off in one of the larger sections of the pool on this side. So, that is pretty much Stormalong Bay. Again, it’s probably what the beach club uh and yacht club, the yacht club uses it as well. Um probably what they’re most popular for. And of course, beaches and cream, that’s that’s a pretty big draw for this resort as well. And then naturally there are beach areas that you’re welcome to hang out and play on. This section doesn’t have any chairs, but the next section over does have some chairs. And I saw a large swing over there. You see the boardwalk over there. And you see the boats coming in. It’s very beautiful. And if you are not aware the beach club and yach club they are separate resorts but at the same time they are connected. Um so you staying at one you have access to the other one very easily and again they both use Storm Along Bay as the pool. They do have quiet pools. So, right over there, um, right here, this area is where they connect the two resorts. So, this side over here, you have the yacht club with all the gray buildings and then the beach club over there with the uh blue color buildings. So, this here is the kitty section of the pool. Um, it is 2 ft deep, uh, sand bottom, of course, and a big sand dune to play in. And this is my kids favorite section. See them playing over there having so much fun. All right, there’s the birthday girl in the kitty pool. She’s having fun. All right. So, over here between the lazy river and the kitty pool sections, we have Hurricane Hannah’s, which is the pool bar/grill. Uh, you do have to exit the pool area to access the bar and grill. Um, but you just easily show your wristband and get back in. [Music] So over here um this is the entrance. entrance to the lobby over here and then straight down this path is literally takes you right into Epcot. It’s amazing how close it is. Um it’s really not that bad of a walk, maybe 10 minutes. Um and if you are able to do that walk, I would definitely suggest that over uh waiting for the boat over here. It’s going to be much faster. And it does take you into the international gateway entrance, which is the back entrance of Epcot. But it I was very very surprised at just how close it was. So, it’s just around down this path around the little bend there and bam, you’re at Epcot. So cool. All right. So, another tip I did want to mention, uh the grab and go section for food does not have actual indoor seating. So, if you’re looking to get um quick service food, you will have to take it somewhere else to eat it. Um they do have benches all outside in this hallway. They do have outdoor tables here. [Music] if you don’t mind sitting outside. And then that pathway there leads to the vacation club section. So right here you see the marketplace. The outdoor tables right across from it. Uh we’ve actually just been taking everything up to our room. It’s pretty easy and it’s a lot more comfortable up there and we’re very close to the lobby. So, our food’s not cold by the time we get it upstairs. Uh, there is this section here called the solarium. And let me walk you through here. It’s nice and quiet. Lots of sun coming through the windows. You little tables and benches. You can certainly bring your food in here to eat. It’s just there’s no large tables. It’s just tables for two. And then this nice quiet section in here. I imagine a lot of people don’t realize this is here. Very nice and quiet. Some soft music playing. A nice place to just relax. And again, this was the salarium and it is across from the marketplace. are our room is on the second floor. I think it’s a great location. Um we are right near the elevators which are right here. Uh our room is right there around the corner. Um, so we’re close to the elevators, which to me is convenient. Or there’s this small set of stairs over here, um, just to get to the lobby. And then of course you have this view, which what I thought was at Christmas time, this would be amazing because you get to see all the Christmas decorations and most importantly, the gingerbread carousel. You can just come out of your room, walk over to this railing, and just take in all the beauty. We have finished up our stay here at the Beach Club Resort. Um, it was very nice. Yeah, it was nice. Yeah. Um, I actually I I didn’t really care for the pool. Uh, like I said earlier, the sand bottom just wasn’t for me. Um, but it was okay. I like if I had to choose between beach sand and this sand, it would be this sand. Oh, yeah. It’s different. Like it’s sand, but it’s Yeah. I don’t I don’t know how to explain it. It’s not like no going to the actual beach. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um it’s it’s um thicker. The sand’s not as fine. Yeah. The grains are thicker. Um but it still gets everywhere. It’s it does it it’s sand and it still gets everywhere. Um so we hope you enjoyed the video. Um so what was your favorite part of your birthday celebration? The breakfast. Kate made breakfast. I love Kay breakfast. All right, so we we did vlog that breakfast and that’ll be separately. Um, so you’ll have to look for that.
