KOBE SannomiyaHello . This time, I’ll be touring shops in the Kobe Sannomiya area. I’ll be visiting some new shops this year, so I hope you’ll enjoy it until the very end. ☺ First, for lunch and shopping, I headed to a complex in the former foreign settlement, about a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station. The first floor is a cafe and restaurant and a general store selling household goods, while the second floor is apparel. This is the fourth “BIOTOP” store, opening in March 2025. I personally love that Japanese black tea is available as part of the set drink. The open sandwiches are also visually stunning. The bread is homemade. The ham was so delicious, it paired perfectly with the sauce! While it looks very simple, the fermented butter adds a delicious touch! The salty mullet roe adds a wonderful touch , creating an exquisite marriage.♡ I enjoyed a leisurely lunch in a stylish space. It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Let’s take a look at the general store section. The interior, based on the concept of “creating a city within a building,” features high ceilings and large windows, creating an open, airy feel. This shop offers a stylish lineup of products that fit perfectly with the old foreign settlement area, making it a great place to find gifts and add color to your life. After finding some wild strawberries , I walked a little further and headed to the Isogami area. My favorite shop recently opened a new location in Isogami, so I headed there…and I arrived! This shop specializes in Scandinavian vintage furniture, primarily from Denmark, and also has locations in Wadamisaki, Hyogo, and Minoh, Osaka. (I’ve covered both locations in separate videos, so please check them out if you’re interested.) The Isogami store opened in May. While smaller than the Wadamisaki store, it still boasts a wide selection of lighting, making it a truly lovely shop. ♡ I love this lampshade, too. This shop allows you to explore the world of Scandinavian furniture while letting your imagination soar . Isogami Park has been reborn as a healing garden. The sound of the water is refreshing, making it a great place for a stroll. ♪ For a sweet break, I stopped off at a cafe. As I’ve mentioned in other videos, this is a delicious cheesecake shop. We were about to go to the second store, “Keshipa Roof,” on the 9th floor, but it was full, so we went up to the second floor. (Photography permission granted.) It felt like opening the door to a picture book . The wide variety of cheesecakes, some of which change with the seasons , means you can enjoy it every time you visit. ☺ Today, let’s try this one. First, quench your thirst. It’s fluffy and fizzy. Light and delicious . This cheesecake has a refreshing mint flavor, making it perfect for summer. It ‘s a hidden favorite , and I’d like to try a different flavor.♡ It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Next, we stopped by the bakery. It opened in March 2025 as the third store of the popular bakery, Vacances. Based on the concept of a “local bakery” that is familiar to everyone, from children to adults, it offers a wide variety of breads, including savory and sweet breads not available at previous stores. Purchase! Let’s enjoy it at home. ~ Another day . After running some errands in Sannomiya, I headed to the International Conference Center to try shaved ice at a shop that opened in June. I enjoyed their “Summer Cotton Candy Ice,” a shaved ice inherited from the Kikusui Main Branch, which sadly closed in 2022. They drizzle a generous amount of “RIKYU HANEY” honey harvested in Suma Rikyu Park over the shaved ice. 🍯 First, I savored it with just the honey. It was delicious, with a gentle sweetness! It was a truly special moment. After tasting the honey, I topped it with strawberry milk. Apparently, the strawberry honey is homemade. I poured it generously over. ☺ It was a moment of bliss , with a soft coolness and a sweet and sour taste that didn’t leave me feeling numb. I finished with some honey tea (ginger) . The gentle sweetness of the honey tea warmed me up . It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Until another day. I went to a cafe on Miyuki-dori with a friend. As the name suggests, they also offer a sweets-making experience, but today I chose to visit the cafe on the first floor. The portion was consistently generous, with soft serve ice cream included! The interior is very spacious, and thanks to its location a little east of Sannomiya Station, it ‘s relatively quiet, making it a great place to relax and unwind. My friend and I had a wonderful time. It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Finally, I’d like to introduce Keshipearl’s third store. “Huh? Has the location changed?” I thought, but apparently they moved from near Minatogawa Shrine in 2024. They have a wide variety of coffees! It would be nice to relax by the window! I got takeout today! I’m looking forward to the new Sannomiya area undergoing redevelopment. Enjoy this delicious homemade treat as you savor your coffee at home . Thank you for watching!
