ホーチミン市のその他の市場とミルクティーを発見 🇻🇳 ベトナム

So, I have got an almond and mango milk tea and Rona got the taro one. The taro milk tea. Taro milk tea. Now, purple like ube and I believe it tastes like ube every time I have it. So, the place we’re staying is to get your bearings. So, there’s a petrol limix here, a family m there. We’ve got a few things over here. And we’re going to go this way. And it’s Newan Dinu, the road that we’re on in the third district, and you walk up this way. So if you get a taxi, it’s best to get out just around here because a car can’t go up here. So, Nuan Diningu as you can see the sign up there says the address here and then you just turn here and just continue up this street here and almost there. There’s just motorbikes that come along here. It’s not that loud. Little girl sings in the morning is quite nice. And that’s the hotel. So this is the hotel, Lablanc Saigon. [Music] And we’re up there. And this is just over the street from our hotel. Arcade, which seems to go a long, long way back. Lots of jewelry sellers. That’s a long market. You see, probably 50 m. [Music] Lots of jewelry sellers here at the start. See, there’s quite a bit of that around here. [Music] Down the very end of the market is still, I guess, the wet market. [Music] just wander around cuz this looks very interesting. As you see Verona, she’s embracing her hat for the first time in I think I got her how long ago? A year and a half, two years. I have one too, but I haven’t worn mine yet. I will soon. really crushed by the guy on the bike. [Music] [Music] Well, I guess that’s it for that market, but didn’t realize there was one right next to us. I knew there was places to go, but didn’t realize there was one right near us. Well, we just got to keep exploring, I guess. [Music] We’re just walking along after the market and just having a look at all these street vendors. Why Rona explores sticky rice pets. pet and over this side was the hospital. Let’s keep walking. Motorcycle chaos. Rona said it is what? What is it, Rona? The traffic is like in Cebu City. No, but what is it? What did you describe it as? Look at that. Noise and chaotic. Chaotic. Organized. Chaos. Yeah, chaos. I think it’s better than Sibu city. We would have been run over 10 times, I think, in Sabu. I think here we have if they come close very close. You know what everyone I’m wearing the hat and the the sunglasses because um I feel like I’m a tourist here because if I’m going to remove this one they will think that I’m one of them like I’m Vietnamese and they speak to me in Vietnamese language and I just always say huh? Yeah. They tend to think Rome is Vietnamese everywhere we go. Oh well. Well, that’s what happens all around the world. Okay. Rona wants to try some milk tea in Vietnam. So, that’s where we are. Uh what’s the 2017 and the lowest? The lowest are. Okay, that’s wants to try some milk tea in Vietnam. So that’s where we are. Uh what’s the 17 and the lowest. The lowest. So, should we try and get some milk tea? And I’m getting one, too. Banana and almond. I don’t know what flavor Ron is getting. We’ll see you in a bit. So, I have got an almond and mango milk tea and Rona got the taro one. The taro milk tea. Taro milk tea. Now, purple like ube. And I believe it tastes like ube every time I have it. But this one, let’s see what this tastes like. Oh, that’s interesting. Mangoey, honey, caramelly. Let’s see. Rona, have a taste of this. It’s lots of flavors, right? Doesn’t just taste like mango and almond. It’s just a variety of flavors. Oh, we’re going to walk along and enjoy this. Verona doesn’t want to walk along the little side street with the market cuz she’s scared to walk here. Yeah. Why am I not allowed to be scared? Yeah, she’s not allowed to be scared. And we’re still walking along here anyway. It’s just a market street. It’s the adventure. [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh, it’s Coming to a close our trip here in Vietnam and we’re out late late afternoon. You can see the food there. It’s raining outside now. We’re only around the corner. We went searching for food and I wanted Randon to try an Australian pie. It’s only small but it’s cheap. I mean it’s got some burgers, chicken salad shakes. Very cheap. And the burgers are quite big. So very surprised with that. We weren’t expecting that, but nice and cheap. Are you happy with our order? Yes, I am. I’m hungry now. She’s hungry. Okay. Well, what do we normally say? Let’s eat. Let’s eat. Okay. Yum.

Join Rona and I as we step off the beaten path in Ho Chi Minh City and uncover a world of charm tucked away in its local back streets and small markets. Beyond the tourist-heavy boulevards, winding alleys in District 1 & 3 reveal authentic slices of Vietnamese life. Here, tiny storefronts bustle with activity, locals chat over steaming bowls of pho, and the scent of grilled skewers fills the air.

Among these hidden gems, small neighborhood markets offer a vibrant mix of fresh produce, handmade goods, and street eats. Nestled between stalls, you’ll find cozy milk tea shops serving up beloved Vietnamese flavors. From traditional black milk tea to inventive blends with boba pearls, pudding, or cheese foam, each sip is a sweet escape from the tropical heat.

Exploring these quieter corners of Ho Chi Minh City offers a deeper connection to its culture. Grab a cup of milk tea, wander through narrow lanes lined with colonial-era buildings, and soak in the rhythm of daily life. It’s a refreshing way to experience the city’s soul—one alley, one market, one sip at a time.
