【トルクメニスタン🇹🇲Vlog】念願の地獄の門|過酷な道中|資源豊富な謎多き国を観光|中央アジア観光|ヒヴァも観光

I stayed overnight in Bukhara, but I was sick and had to stay in bed. I still have a fever, but I’m much better I’m so grateful to my friend who helped me out so much. I’m heading to Khiva by train now. Looking back, I’m really overstuffed. Yesterday, I was so sick that the hotel staff took me to the hospital. I can’t thank them enough. I gave them a tip and a souvenir from Japan. 😭 I was totally like a zombie on the next 5-hour train ride. It’s a relief that it’s a beautiful sleeper train. There’s air conditioning and the toilet is clean (the train in Bukhara was terrible). I can’t eat anything at all, so I’ll just drink Reo.(sports drink) I’ll just sleep. Tomorrow, I’m going to Turkmenistan from Khiva, so I want to recover no matter what. I never want to waste the tour fee ($600) I paid. Eternity and the desert. Actually, I got the train time wrong, so a Russian man hurriedly carried my luggage and other things so I made it in time. I’m really grateful. I was so anxious that I forgot about my stomachache at that moment. I recovered a little, so I’ll do some research on Turkmenistan. The shaking of the train feels good. Before I knew it, I was near my destination. I called a taxi on Yandex and headed to the hotel. I really wondered what would happen, but the town had a calm atmosphere, which was just right for me at the time. Sleep and fluids are important for food poisoning, but I didn’t end up taking any medicine. I stayed at a madrasah in a historical building in Khiva. The location was beautiful and it was convenient for walking around the city. I felt like I was in another world. Is this really Earth? The cave-like room interior was cute , and I was surprised to see a bathtub. The hairdryer was the worst of all the hotels on this trip. I was surprised that the laundry service was three times more expensive than I thought. I went pale. I slept again at the hotel and felt refreshed, so I went out that night. Itchan Kala is the first World Heritage Site in Uzbekistan. The cityscape is unrealistically beautiful. It feels like I’m in a picture book. I’m really glad I was able to come here. It feels like an ancient capital and is very relaxing. The city is surrounded by high walls and reminded me of Attack on Titan. There are souvenir shops as it seems to be a tourist destination, but there is no hard sell and it is peaceful. I came to the mosque in the center of Itchan Kala. This is also called the Friday Mosque, and on Friday, the Muslim Sabbath, you go to the Juma Mosque. Each mosque has a different carving, so it’s interesting. And the durability is amazing. The light is shining in the courtyard, creating a mysterious space. I came to the palace, which was built by Alakli Khan in 1383 and is said to have the meaning of “Stone Garden”. It is said to be a palace with many rooms, and it seems that the king’s wives were designed not to meet each other. There was also a souvenir shop. I wonder how many people lived there. It must be very stressful to live with a powerful person. The tiles are beautiful everywhere you look, and There were no people, so I was able to take my time and enjoy the view. I didn’t have much of an appetite, so I went to the supermarket and bought some fruit. Outside Ichan Kala, there are only buildings under construction. There seems to be a construction boom for hotels and other things . I will go to bed early again today in preparation for tomorrow. The two-day fast has paid off, and I have recovered my strength. I will enter Turkmenistan on a tour departing at 8am! There is a crack in the windshield lol Drive to the border for about 2 hours with a friendly driver. There were four members in total on this tour: There were us, an English man and a Japanese man. First, we went to the border of Uzbekistan, went through immigration procedures , and obtained an arrival visa at immigration. I applied for a visa in advance through the tour company. I printed the voucher well, and I have US dollars 😉. After that, I took a COVID test on site and met up with the guide. I’m nervous even though I haven’t done anything wrong. I was thinking about a lot of things and arrived at the border. I entered Turkmenistan safely. I waited in the heat for about two hours for immigration. I was exhausted. There were about 30 Japanese people on a group tour and it was crowded. I showed my passport about eight times. I was relieved to meet the guide. I’ll put the cost and other information in the summary section. the capital has white cars and white buildings and regulations. Since this is a rural area, I saw various car colors. I had the image of a rich country, but the city was more normal than I expected , but the national public facilities? etc. were beautiful. For lunch, we went to a stylish restaurant. I had just recovered from an illness so I couldn’t eat anything but asked for fruit. I I want to be someone with a really strong stomach. Looking back, there is a theory that the fruit was bad. My friend ordered something that looked like pizza. This pizza was the best thing I had eaten on my trip There was too much fruit lol so we all shared. After eating,we went to a bazaar in Turkmenistan. We came to a bazaar whose name I don’t know. Foreigners can’t use the internet so we were without smartphones. Our guide told us to “meet under this sign in 20 minutes.” Always check the time and the road ahead. I didn’t have any money exchanged, so I didn’t have anything to buy, just walking around. I wonder what these people’s lives are like, what kind of houses they live in and how they live. There is a large covered area. I think they sell more revealing clothes than in Uzbekistan. Can the ladies here wear short pants too? The area where jewelry is sold Everyone was talking over a cup of tea. Lively and interesting bazaar Good to see how people live. Next, a visit to the mosque Large crowd due to the fact that it was Friday. Beautiful and large mosque We were allowed to take a tour inside (no photography). There were about 200 Muslims praying. Two women observing in it. I was worried if it was really okay to watch😂 They also have a women’s prayer area. Finally, we are heading for the “Gates of Hell,” the place you are looking for. It’s been a rough 5 hours from here. My friend took anti-sickness medicine. I recommend anyone who is going to take it with them! I don’t get carsick at all, so I sit in the passenger seat. My friend and guide are sitting in the back seat. 30 minutes into the run, it’s not even desert yet, and this shaking Always shaking about 3 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale Why don’t you turn off the car engine when you put gas in! This may have been the most surprising part of the trip. It was the moment when the Japanese character came out. The rest spot on the way Thank God, there were tourists. About 10 minutes after leaving the previous shop, we had unexpected car trouble and a replacement car came. I would be shaking if I was stranded in a place like this, but the replacement car that rushed over was comfortable and great. Finally, I’m in serious desert mode. From this point on, the shaking is quite violent. I’m excited even for the wild camels. Cute . Got a flat tire in the desert. Slightly worried about car trouble for the second time. What would I do if I was abandoned here? I was thinking about it. There was no signal, so I couldn’t call for help. How would I get to the embassy? I was thinking about that, but the repair was completed! Thankful. Last spurt I slept 80% of the time. Finally, we arrived at the “Gate of Hell”. The longer the journey, the more moving it became. This fire has been burning for 55 years. There is a large amount of methane gas in the crater, which comes out to the surface and continues to burn. It is called the “Gate of Hell” because of the eerie and powerful sight of the flames. The temperature of 38°C in June + the heat of the fire Even in such a situation, the excitement did not fade. In addition to the craters, which were burned into my eyes Besides the crater, I could feel the vastness of nature. Untouched nature that cannot be seen in Tokyo. The vast and serene Karakum Desert as far as the eye can see There is an area over there to stay. Here was a camel being kept. I also encountered some strange animals. I thought they were ponies, but they were donkeys. They seem to live here. I made the reservation without thinking about anything, so the tents were simple. I changed to a yurt because there was a vacancy. As expected, a tent is tough. Our base Traditional architecture of Turkmenistan . Highly insulated, cool in summer and warm in winter. Traditional nomadic housing. I was able to sleep comfortably. We had dinner, a BBQ. A facility that you would never expect to find in the desert. Lots of meat was being grilled. It was time to eat, but I didn’t have an appetite, so I ate the porridge I brought from Japan. There were a lot of wild hedgehogs running around. Then the command was given to watch the flames at night. At night, the beauty of the fire stood out. The flickering of the large flames It calms the mind. At night, the temperature suddenly drops, so the flames feel warm. The stars and the moon looked beautiful. I walked cautiously. It’s a sight that will definitely remain in my memory for the rest of my life. I ‘m glad I came. There were a lot of people there at night. The Turkmenistan government has announced its intention to put out the fire in 2024. It seems that the amount of gas is decreasing year by year, and the intensity of the fire is also getting weaker. There seems to be an opinion that gas should be sold as a resource. The guide told me that it was just the right timing. He laughed and said that this tour might not be available next year, but he really doesn’t know when it will be gone. I decided to go to the places I want to go so I won’t have any regrets. There were more than 50 grasshoppers on the outer wall of the yurt 😂 At 4:30 in the morning, we went to see the sunrise and the crater. The dog who lives there guided us. The dog has long and big legs. We went to see the flames together. A beautiful sunrise The sunrise and the flames were also wonderful. The sun had completely risen, and we were almost saying goodbye to the flames. Amazing flames .I’m really glad I made it. It was a great adventure! Bye-bye “Gates of Hell.” I’m sad to leave, but I’m going home. The 5-hour drive begins. The reliable and stable TOYOTA continues to drive on country roads. I’ve returned to a place where people are. Maybe because it’s a rural area, it doesn’t feel developed. The city once flourished as an Islamic culture. The city’s functions collapsed due to the invasion of Genghis Khan. Meanwhile, the ruins remain. I’ll hurry and do some sightseeing. I’ve been feeling unwell since around this time and my memory is fading. I regret that I should have studied more. I also want to get in shape. After finishing sightseeing, I head to a place for lunch. I came to a restaurant that seems to be for foreigners. This building is obviously too beautiful. This soup was too delicious, the bean soup. I was so unwell that I could hardly eat here either. 😭 Before I knew it, I was near the border I’m heading back to Uzbekistan. The guide was kind and great. I’ll write about it in the summary section. If you have any questions, please comment. I booked for 2 nights to store my luggage. It was a good value hotel. The bathroom was also clean. I took a shower at the hotel and went to dinner. I came to a restaurant that was a 2-minute walk from the hotel. It was a popular restaurant full of local people. I ate something like a cheese hamburger, which I’ve never seen with ice in Uzbekistan. I’m glad I was able to return safely. Tomorrow I will return to Tashkent.
