Closest Place to Heaven: Ride the Sky Train to China’s Paradise
Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. This is Huangshan in Anhui Province — without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places in China! This isn’t the usual starting point — since I spent the night on the mountain, I chose to take the cliffside train straight to the summit! The ticket costs 100 yuan. Can you believe it? A 900-meter-long train track built along mountain cliffs with a vertical drop of 500 meters — what a breathtaking feat of engineering! There are two routes on the track — one going up and one going down. If you’re heading to the top, I recommend standing in the last row; you’ll get to see the spectacular views gradually unfold before your eyes! The whole ride takes about 4–5 minutes! For just 100 yuan, it’s totally worth it — such breathtaking scenery feels like something out of heaven. This is truly incredible! I have no words to describe it. If you come here, make sure to ride the train — don’t leave with any regrets! We’ve arrived! I honestly want to ride it again — haha, it was way too short! Now I’ve reached the cliffside walkway! You can also take the “Yungu” cableway to get here — there are usually fewer people on this side. I feel like my voice is trembling as I speak — please don’t laugh at me! It’s just so incredibly beautiful. By the way, the Huangshan entrance ticket costs 190 yuan, and the cableway is 65–70 yuan per ride — very affordable! You can also book a visit to Tiandu Peak (the most challenging summit), which you can find in my previous videos. Without a reservation, you won’t be allowed to go. Of course, if you have enough time, you can spend three full days exploring Huangshan. There are a few places to stay on the mountain, but they’re quite expensive—around 1,000 to 2,000 yuan. Every step reveals a new view! With such dense beauty, the 190 yuan ticket is an absolute bargain! Now I’ve arrived at “Shixin Peak,” one of the 36 smaller peaks, standing at 1,680 meters above sea level. It’s absolutely stunning! Wow, wow, wow! Where else can you see views like this? It would be even better with a sea of clouds—too bad I didn’t catch it this time. This is truly a fairyland! It feels like you could reach out and touch the sky. Also, while exploring, be sure to watch your step! The railings are low and it’s very dangerous. That looks like a hotel! Feels close, right? Haha, but it actually takes three hours to walk there! Now I’ve reached the West Sea Hotel! It’s nearly 6,000 feet above sea level, and you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky at night. However, the rooms here are quite expensive, around 1,000 to 2,000 yuan, and the quality isn’t very great. Of course, being built nearly 6,000 feet up the mountain, the costs are unbelievably high. This trail leads to the “Xihai great valley”. Look! There are wild monkeys here! But be careful, they’re not very friendly to people. Hahaha, it just snatched an apple! Anyway, never ever annoy them! What a spectacular canyon! The perfect weather and stunning views complement each other—I’m so lucky! These rolling mountain ranges look just like the spine of a giant dragon. If your stamina isn’t great, I recommend getting a trekking pole—actually, two! You’ll thank me later. Whoa! I didn’t watch my step—I almost fell! There’s a cliff right ahead! So dangerous! We’re now in the West Sea Grand Canyon! The scenery here is incredibly stunning! At the same time, the steep stairways are quite challenging, with slopes up to 80 degrees. Walking along the cliffside plank road, it takes about 2 more hours to reach Bright Summit Peak — the second highest peak of Huangshan and a large viewing platform. You know why it’s getting jammed here? It’s super steep—about 85 degrees! Wow, be careful! Every staircase here is really steep — my legs were trembling as I walked. I gotta hurry up! Otherwise, I might miss the cable car tonight, haha! We’ve arrived at Guangming Peak, which stands at 6,200 feet! It’s the second highest peak in Huangshan. The highest peak is currently closed for maintenance and won’t reopen for about three years. You can overlook the entire Huangshan landscape from here! Amazing! Is that a weather station? Anyway, it looks really unusual—especially up here on the mountain, it feels like some kind of alien technology! How could anyone not be enchanted by this? This might be the most beautiful mountain I’ve ever seen! The wind is really strong today! You can see the clouds moving fast—I feel like I could reach out and grab them. By the way, it’s June now. Remember to wear sunscreen! By the way, Huangshan has lots of trees, so most paths have plenty of shade. Now I’m heading to Huangshan’s most famous spot — the Welcoming Pine (Yingkesong). Along the way, there are plenty of stunning peaks and bizarre rock formations. These mountain formations look like massive stones, with their strange shapes resembling moles on a giant’s body — haha! I climbed onto a large rock — from here, you can overlook the entire view. But it’s a bit dangerous, so I don’t recommend trying it yourself! Most of the path now is downhill! You can see more and more people appearing. Remember what I said at the beginning? Be sure to take the Yungu cable car up — there will be way fewer people that way! This is the Ciyunge Cable Car — a lot of people come up from here, so I don’t recommend it. By the way, remember to bring a backpack with some food and water. I don’t recommend eating at the shops on Huangshan — it’s expensive and not very tasty, haha! There are so many people here! Now I’ve arrived at the final stop, the Welcoming Pine! It’s said to be the most famous attraction — just a single pine tree! Let me go check it out. This is the pine tree — “Yingkesong,” the Welcoming Pine, the most famous spot in Huangshan! Huh? What? Why? What’s so special about it? I’m a bit puzzled. Some people even come to Huangshan just to see this tree! Huh? Personally, I think it’s pretty ordinary — way less impressive than many of the views I saw along the way. If you think I’m lying, just take a look at the crowds coming here to take pictures. This spot is always packed! Of course, maybe it’s because the tree grows on a rock, which is pretty unique — and it’s quite big too, haha! My friend said that in the past, almost every household would hang a painting of Yingkesong—the Welcoming Pine—at home. This spot has been famous for over a hundred years! By the way, please remember to subscribe and like—this really helps me a lot! Thank you so much, and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
They say heaven is far away… but today, I’m on a train heading straight into the clouds.
This time, I came to a place widely regarded by the Chinese as one of the most beautiful spots in the country — Huangshan! It’s located in Huangshan City, Anhui Province. No joke, this place has been famous for over a thousand years and has always been a beloved paradise.
Last time, I climbed the most dangerous peak of Huangshan — Tiandu Peak. If you’re interested, check out my previous videos! This time, I’ll show you the most breathtaking scenery Huangshan has to offer — it will truly open your eyes!

Great video! Convinced me that I should definitely visit Huangshan… in a video game. Looks amazing but my legs and my wallet are scared.

What a fantastic journey you did. Very enjoyable and spectacular. It amazes me how trees grow on the mountain side with so little soil. Many thanks.
Ce site est juste incroyable… jamais rien vu de pareil… magnifique
Good job !
Subhannallah….Sebuah lukisan alam yang cantik..
In 2023, I saw a sea of clouds at Huangshan.
That Blue Ridge Parkway footage? Pure magic. I drove it once in the fall and still think about it years later. The haze, the colors, the silence it’s unreal. What’s your favorite season in the mountains?
The shots of Deep Creek Lake and Grandfather Mountain were stunning! I’ve never felt more tempted to pack my bags and escape to the mountains. Has anyone actually made the move? Curious what daily life feels like there.
This video really opened my eyes. I never realized how much beauty and history Appalachia holds yet how many challenges its people face. Makes me appreciate the resilience of those who stay. Would you ever consider living here?
I admire how this video balances beauty and truth. It doesn’t sugarcoat the economic hardships, but it also highlights the deep soul of the region. That kind of honesty is rare. Would love to see a follow-up on community revival efforts.
This is exactly why travel matters it teaches you empathy. I used to think of Appalachia as just “backcountry,” but now I see it as rich, complex, and deeply American. What place changed your view after visiting?

It truly looks like the closest place to heaven! That sky train ride through the mountains of China is absolutely stunning—nature and engineering in perfect harmony 🌤🚆 43:18
Как прекрасен КИТАЙ👍🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Huangshan also hides one of China’s most dangerous peaks—Tiandu Peak, which only opens once every five years. The scenery is truly breathtaking and will definitely make your legs go weak. 👉: https://youtu.be/YB3G-dnVLas
