神々の国 NIPPON🇯🇵⛩ 南九州の神秘を1日で巡礼|宮崎ー鹿児島125kmの旅

Today we are going on a trip to visit shrines in Miyazaki and Kagoshima prefectures. Aoshima Shrine is surrounded by the “Oni’s Washboard” created by nature, and Udo Shrine is affectionately known as “Udo-san.” We would like to focus on three of Kagoshima’s Kirishima Shrines, which have been designated as national treasures . Please watch till the end. Hello everyone. First, let’s go to Aoshima Shrine, which is surrounded by the sea. Take a walk along the Aoshima coast in the early morning. I wish the sun would come out a little more. There was something like an object. I’m naked. It seems to be held every winter. It must be cold… There was “Aoshima Beach Park” near Shigeru Aoki’s work “Wadatsumi no Iroko no Miya” . Apparently events are held here in the summer. Found a yellow mailbox!!! A post that brings happiness The sun has risen and the weather has gotten better. Looks like fun. After walking for a while, the bridge came into view. This is the bridge that leads to Aoshima Shrine, “Yayoihashi.” It’s surrounded by the sea, so the breeze feels nice. There is a sandy beach after crossing the bridge. yeah? If you look closely, it looks like shells, not sand. There was a stone monument of Aoshima Shrine. This stratum is amazing. The complex feeling is like art. What you can see on the right is the demon washboard. Aquatic rock formed over many years. Pass through the torii gate and proceed forward. A guardian dog welcomed us. Let’s go inside. There was a heart-shaped ema offering place. Aoshima Shrine has the benefit of matchmaking. There were various shops within the precincts. Sea bream fortune? I wonder if there is some connection? Pass through the gate and head to the main shrine!!! It is said to be the setting for the myth “Yamasachihiko and Umisachihiko,” which is said to be the origin of Urashima Taro. The god of matchmaking is enshrined here. There was an arch of votive tablets. The legends of votive tablets are wonderful, aren’t they? May all your wishes come true… It’s like a jungle. As I went deeper, I saw a flashy building. I also visited here. It is said that if you throw an earthenware plate into the rock enclosure, your wish will come true. If it breaks, it will bring good luck and ward off evil spirits. Well, what do you think?! Too bad. It’s quite far away and I can’t reach it. Should I thread a string through a five-yen coin? This time, I chose a string that will prosper in business. Tie it tightly and make a wish. The view from the main shrine side is amazing. There were various stalls lined up. Shaved ice, smoothies, and soft serve ice cream. Great for cooling down. Next, let’s go to Udo Shrine, affectionately known as “Udo-san.” It is about 30 minutes by car from Aoshima Shrine. Pass through the torii gate. After passing through the torii gate, there was a souvenir shop and a reception desk for stamps. Collecting goshuin stamps is popular in Japan. There was a signboard about myths and Nichinan City. Let’s go inside the precincts. At the beginning of “Udo Shrine” is the “Shinmon” gate. I’m so excited. Company office. It was burnt down in 1970 and was rebuilt. “Udo Shrine”, a nationally designated scenic spot, and “Sakuramon Gate” have a stately feel and are spectacular!!! Japanese architecture is something to be proud of to the world. You can see the beautiful sea on your right. The main shrine is ahead. There are several famous spots along the way, so it’s hard to reach the main shrine. There was a thousand torii gates. The vermilion color stands out. The ceremonial hall can be seen in the back. Weddings can also be held here. Let’s go through the Senbon Torii. There was a large torii gate in the back. “Udo Inari Shrine” is a small shrine located within Udo Shrine. This is a video from the opposite side of the Senbon Torii gate. Is the main shrine coming soon? “Chidori Bridge” is a nice view! I’ve walked a long way so far. A stone statue with a lucky charm as a motif. There was money in it. “Tamabashi” Once you cross here, you will see the main shrine. The view is amazing! ! It’s a steep slope so watch your step. Once you get to the bottom, you will finally reach the main shrine. There is a main shrine inside the cave! Surprise! ! Finally arrived at the main shrine. It is expected to be very crowded on New Year’s visit.Go further back. There was a prince shrine. Next door is an ema offering place. “A petting rabbit” that makes your wish come true when you pet it “Ochia Rock” A place of faith for people who wish for safe childbirth and child rearing. You can also buy amulets and fortune telling fortunes. It is said that if you throw a luck ball into the “Kameishi,” your wish will come true. I tried, but it doesn’t seem like my wish will come true… It was so powerful that you could almost feel the water spray coming from the waves. This is a place you should visit at least once. The last stop is Kirishima Shrine in neighboring Kagoshima Prefecture. It takes about 2 hours by car from Udo Shrine. Drone photography is prohibited. I thought there was a deer, but it was a fake. lol What kind of pond is this? An ornament that looks like an Amabie raincoat. I might buy some souvenirs on the way home. It’s not that far to the main shrine. You cannot avoid this staircase to get to the main shrine. A large vermilion torii gate came into view. There was a washroom. Wash your hands thoroughly before entering the main shrine. Proceed along the atmospheric path. The main shrine came into view. I will pray here. Found a huge sacred tree!!! It’s 800 years old! Let’s draw a fortune. How about that,,,. It was Sueyoshi. I don’t like it so I’ll tie it here. There are many people who are not convinced. Leaving the main shrine. Don’t forget to bow. Kirishima Shrine was visited by Ryoma Sakamoto on his honeymoon. This is said to be Japan’s first honeymoon. If the weather is nice, you can see Sakurajima and the Kirishima Mountain Range. This trip I visited many power spots, and I received a lot of energy. There are many wonderful places in Japan. Everyone please come and try it.
