Easy 20 minute Korean seaweed soup! Secret to great skin! #sahm #easyrecipe #koreanfood #shorts
Easy recipe here that I do easily at least once a week. This is just Korean seaweed soup. You can buy the seaweed dry from the farmers market. I like to let it soak, rinse it, and wash it very very well a couple of times at least. The protein mine is usually tofu. I like to use the firm tofu for the kids. And then I’m going to add some mushrooms to it as well. So those are rinsing and soaking, washing. I’m going to go ahead and cut the seaweed up just so that they’re not as long as you saw it earlier. In a pot, you’re just going to heat it up. Make sure your stainless steel is heated. You’re going to add in sesame oil. This gives it great flavor. You’re going to go ahead and stir fry the seaweed um just to get more of the flavor out. I saw a lot of big chunks in here still, so I went back with the scissors again. You’re just going to add a boiling pot of um water to that pot. I’m going to add a little bit of dashi powder, which is basically dried fish powder, and then add the mushrooms. go ahead and add the tofu at this step, but I did add up one more uh pot of water as well. And then to that, I’m just going to add some of my favorite chicken bullion powder. For this size pot, I end up doing four scoops. And let it simmer for about 5 or 10 minutes. And make sure everything’s mixed well. And you’re done.
