Cozy Van Life Camping in Viking Fjords & Heavy Rain – Most Cozy Place on Earth! Relaxing Travel Vlog

Must cozy place on earth Land of Viking fjords Cozy Van Life camping Should I be worried about this? Just going around checking a few things by the ocean here pretty cool very calm today So I’m driving the outer road now and I just came to a place called Bud and it’s got nothing to do with the Bud Light or Budweiser It’s a little town. And bud in Norwegian probably means like a messenger or something like that, but not sure how that is related to this little town being out by the ocean here. All right, so I’ve been having this error with the brake system in the van. And it’s been getting worse and I have an appointment booked in two and a half weeks. That’s how long it takes to get the service appointment here. That’s where I’m gonna head back to the southwest to get to that appointment and I’ve been getting more problems with losing the power the gas pedal is useless and I turn off the engine and on again and it works. But this has been getting more frequent, especially at lower speeds So I talked to Chad GPT it seems like it’s been pinpointed to the brake light switch So I’m hoping that’s the case, because that’s just like a $20 part, and there should be a quick fix, but it’s super annoying. and. I’m looking at the website to see if there are service shops that I can go into that is a genuine fiat, but there isn’t anything out here, so I have to go back all the way to get to my service appointment on the 24th of June. Right now, it’s the 6th of June, and I was hop hoping that things would just work like it has before. We’ getting that occasional error, but now it’s several times a day. It’s getting a little bit annoying It happens mostly. If I’m breaking at very low speeds, like in a little town or village, Super annoying. I wish I knew more about stuff like this, so I could just fix it. The researcher also indicates that you have to use genuine fiat parts or it will not work Flowers. All right. I crossed over from Molder and took the ferry south again, and now I’m going to take another ferry from the Orlusson area and over to the Sunnmørsalpene Alps, place I’ve never been, so that should be exciting. It’s supposed to be very pretty, like Alps and fjords All right. We are approaching the ferry. Hope there is a ferry. Hope it doesn’t take me forever. Turn left on in Film Ah, looks pretty good. Maybe we can get on this one. That would be nice. Made it I think I need to go up and have a look here Hey Siri, open Google Maps All right, we’re in Fauske now. Gonna head to Sykkylven and up in the Alps. This should be really exciting. Never been here before, so. So this is new scenery. It looks Pretty spectacular How about that stuff out there? Gonna find camping pretty fast now, I think. It’s 5 o’clock Alright, this is Sykkylven. Smells like farming here right now. The backdrop that’s pretty epic Pretty epic place. Sykkylven Looks like they have a festival here Awesome place Can’t beat this view here ha ha. It’s so amazing. Definitely in Fjordland again Fjord country Look at that That is amazing. This place is called Straumgjerde. directly translated to English. That is electric fence. Absolutely gorgeous name. for a gorgeous place. A really gorgeous place. Look at the glacier up to the right there that’s pretty epic Fantastic Climbing steeply now, 10 degrees. There’s the spot right here somewhere. I think. gonna pull off here and. of your destination your See what it looks like. nice view, but far too sloping. This is not going to be comfortable, so I’m going to continue. Let me have a look at Park for night. OK, I’m gonna check out a couple of places here. There’s one six minutes behind me up a side road that could be interesting. I’ll see there first, and then keep going to another one that I have in mind. All right, I think I like that. I think when the clouds lift over here, it’s gonna look spectacular. Get these mountains here as well. You’ve got perfect cell service So, yeah, let’s stay here. It’s 40 Kroner, so that’s like $3.50 or $4. I’m going to pay that quickly. Guess what it is raining again It happens. Right, which nicer day today Look at those pinnacles back there Just wait until the clouds lift from those that’s gonna be epic Good morning. This has got to be the most peaceful campsite I’ve had this year. Not one single car or van or RV or anything has come up up here. It’s been dead quiet and very relaxing. Yesterday was so amazing. Just chilling here in the rain. It’s time for the most important mealer day, of course. And if you want to know where this place is, you can find that on my maps, on my Patreon, or if you sign up as a channel member by hitting the join button here. So love this place here. Looks like it’s starting point for ski routes in winter. So really loving this spot here. Highly recommend it. I’m thinking it’s much more crowded in winter. Cheers, my friends. What a beautiful morning. Looks like there’s absolutely no wind and no bugs up here because it’s in the mountains and it’s cold. So just very pleasant I’m releasing another summer video today and that’s the one with all the fjords and the heavy rain and a freak snowstorm. So if you haven’t watched that one yet, you should go and find it. I might link to it Up here. And you can go and watch it. Sunnmørsalpane very spectacular area I’ve never been to. So I’m going to fly my drone and get some shots of this area and then I have made a route Which will take me through all these mountain ranges here and see the sides I just hope my van doesn’t act up too much with that fault. It’s such a shame that it takes so long to get a service appointment here. Sometimes I really wish I was skilled at these things But I’ve been asking Chet GTP, and it seems to be pretty spot on with its suggestions based on what I found out on Google, so it’s just more detailed than more accurate But still, it might be something entirely different. Anyway, it’s time to reply to the overnight comments, which is something I always look forward to It’s one of the highlights of my day to reply to the comments that I received overnight So let’s get to it. Oh, new video from Foresty Forest. Need to watch that. Get all my batteries charging here for the drone and for the cameras coming off my ecoflow power station. I usually don’t use my My inverter for charging batteries, but I could of course do that, but the power station is good for that. All right, so it is Saturday. It’s nearly 1 o’clock, and I am going to head further into the Alps here. I looked at some beautiful spots.ots, and it’s only about an hour drive, but I wanted to see some more stuff, so I’m going to head past Strna and Helusk to little towns out here and into the mountains Oh, I have some rattling back here in the van somewhere that is driving me insane. I think it’s the window. I think it’s maybe the mosquito. net or the blinds or something that’s clacking. I cannot seem to find a source, really, checking in the fridge, like crazy and checking all kinds of stuff. I think it’s coming from the door, so probably the The blinds. The mosquito net, I think. How epic is this landscape? This is a really good spot up here lot of parking. could, of course, be something loose inside the door that happens. These kind of plastic bolts that hold the panels in place, could be be broken inside. There’s a lot of shaking and rattling going on when you drive around. This van is not very good with susppension. It’s a really tractor suspension. Not good at all, so everything shakes. I’m at 60. PSI in the wheels. The wheels are supposed to be around 80, but that is not gonna happen anymore. It’s’s still pretty, still pretty uncomfortable. I’m sure these vans have a suspension that are not really built for always driving with a full load Like, when you have a built out van, it’s kind of close in on the allowed weight you’re supposed to have, or payload or whatever you call it. But, uh, I’m sure they get quite worn out Going over a pass here looks like and down to Stomna Okay, I didn’t go down to Starnda because I’m getting this error with my hill holder and everything all the time when I’m going on lower gears, seems like. But now it’s okay. I’m gonna go across to the valley, but there’s been a big car accident, so roads are closed, but I can drive up to where I’m going And it seems like a pretty serious accident to if I read right on the news, it was two motorcycles that crashed with a car or a truck or something But my route is OK unless everyone is trying to park up there of course we’ll see see. It’s only 30 minutes driving. With this error with the van, I think it’s a smart idea to not go over any major mountains and passes so I’m gonna stick with the fjords. This is just fantastic out here so beautiful Here’s a good spot. Beautiful. Ride to nature by a river Wow. What. a place. What an absolutely epic place. Spectacular. All right, we’re in Hellesylt No cruise ships in today. Not even sure if this is Hellesylt Our GPS has Basically locked itself up. Just a quick stop in Hellesylt Not really much to see in a town like this, in my opinion. Since I’m from from here, but it might be cool for someone from a town and another part of the world. Pretty epic locations everywhere in here. Look at those flowers. So beautiful. so I’m gonna head up under that glacier there So this is where I’m going anyway to the right here up into this amazing valley here I think at least I think it’s amazing. Not that I’ve been here before, but… Got a glacier up there to the left. This is Norangsdalen Valley, I guess. I’ve heard of that before, so. Probably means it’s quite epic. Look at the glacier. Spectacular.ular. Look at the glacier up there magnificent, but look at this ahead. How cool is this? I guess this is the heart of the Sunmer Alps. Look at that wow. What a gorgeous place. Spectacular. Look at the glacier up there. All right, sir. Here it starts. Ama look at that. I’m stoked All right, I should be at my campsite pretty soon. 400 m might be right here. Let’s see. In 300 meters, your destination will be on the left. Yeah, I think we do it like this. How about that for a view? Absolutely gorgeous.ous We got this can’t beat that This could get noisy. But the motorcycles’s coming up here, though. Right. I’m getting really hungry. It’s 6 o’clock and I’m going to do some Pork skewers today. I’ve got some pork skewers out of the store here and I got some asparagus and I’ve got some broccoli. some red pepper, a little bit of squash, and I’m going to use some sun dried tomatoes with that as well Going to see how that works out I don’t have an exact plan, so I just have to play it a little bit by ear, but I think it’s going to be good. So let’s get it done. So, that’s the skewers? Let’s prep these spuses first And we’ll get the last of this red pepper. Some squash. A little bit of broccoli. It should do it. All right. Asparagus. Salt. Black pepper. Fry this other stuff on the side here. With sun-dried tomatoes add a little bit of lemon juice as well. Never go wrong with lemon juice. Asparagus is dumb All right. And I think we can add the pork skewers now I’m sure my red is for them No Nearly by, I think All right, let’s call it I think I’m gonna try to clean this up right away Don’t think that’s a good idea. All right, we need all these. This looks pretty tasty, doesn’t it? Mmm. Absolutely amazing So good Loving the burgers Got some mighty mountains around here Really steep cliffs This stuff here. All right, so I’m just going to do the dishes real quick. I want to get this clean as soon as possible When I’m in the van, it’s just so much more hassle if it’s starting to Get Solid. Ah. Even now, when I have water, I still use wet wipes for during my dishes because I don’t want the fat to get into the drainage and And a gray water tank So I rarely use the water for dishwashing This is the van life dishwher. My sawy reindeer tray. I love that. I’m gonna get another one when I get up to Yukmuk again later this summer, hopefully. If not this summer, then definitely in the winter. Gotta get up there and get really mighty cold Oh, that smells so good. Oh. One more dishwasher. Where did my fork go? If you can see it, please let me know in the comments, although it might be too late at the point. When you see this, but it if it’s not too late, then I’m still dishwashing, let me know where my fork went. Huh. Well, my fork is gone. All right, it is nearly eight. It’s time for some cozy time back of my land here most cozy place on north I think. So going to be watching the last episode of Friends and Neighbors. Your Friends and Neighbors on Apple TV+. I’ve really been loving this series. It’s one of those few series that I’m looking forward to watching. and Sam run into each other at our party, barbecue. and cheated on. He’s not, she’s not. As you probably know, by now, it doesn’t really get dark here. in summer, so it’s basically just daylight outside. And that’s fine. I enjoy that because it’s so dark in winter. So I’m looking over at the glaciers here now Hmm. They always be surprised would be if they didn’t start fucking. So then time goes by, I don’t know, three months, six months and keep it quiet years. Yeah, but somehow, none of this knew about him and Sam hooking up, right? I’m just saying, we don’t know. and Coop kills them. Self defense, crime of passion, this thing. That’s ridiculous. there is to know about who. For Sam, apparently. Well, she on it for years. He’s being a bastard about the divorce, maybe she just Smith killed him. Or, most likely, someone unrelated. I mean, who knows what Paul Here comes story again I love that sound Where there’s this wet stuff coming down from the air almost like water or something coming down in drops. Strange. What a beautiful place this is. I’ll put it on my maps on my Patreon and for channel members to see. Most important meal of the day is ready. Good morning. And cheers, my friends. It is Sunday morning. It is I guess it’s June 8th and I am up here in Nangal Valley and it is a gorgeous place. I am probably just going to stay here today. It’s rainy and gloomy and quite cozy and I don’t have anywhere I need to be. It’s a holiday tomorrow on Monday, Norway, so I’m guessing traffic will be horrible tomorrow. but I don’t know. It feels like a good place to stay here. Got a bunch of comments to reply to on my latest video, which was that two hour long rain and freaky snowstorm and Viking Fjord video If you watch that If you haven’t, I’ll link it up here so you can find it up here, like, grab it. Just grab that. Put it on. So I got the most important meal today, of course, and life couldn’t be better. She’s my friends. Is to view out my sun roof here up on the mountains This view though out my living room window All right, the sun is out, so let’s take a look. Thank you. All right love this place, but I decided it’s time to get moving again. Gonna head down and take the ferry over to a different part of these Alps here so more sides to see it’s just gorgeous up here so I can highly recommend this site here. Sunmos Albana, the Sunmouse Alps, Sunm Alps so let’s go. What an incredible place. Look at this. See that waterfall? Over there? That is something. It’s like an adventure down here like a fairy tale What a beautiful place. Wow. Incredible. This is just beyond words. And it’s only June 8th, so summer hasn’t really started yet. All the things I’ve experiencedenced this far, it’s incredible All right. We’re at the ferry terminal. I hope the wait isn’t too long. So it looks like ferry is going every hour next one is in five minutes works perfect Here it comes small and old that’s what they call me K1 655 for three kilometers. How Yeah. Wow What a place. Headwest. got a celebrity politician in Norway and former minister of Finance in the van in front of me here. I saw him on the ferry, but I didn’t think it was necessary to film him he’s probably on vacation. But that’s his RV. Look at this scenery. It’s so cool. Amazing. All, we’re approaching the town of Ersta from village. And I need to find gas. I’m nearly down to half tank. That is as slow as I will go. I’m guessing this is an industrial town as well, but I’m not quite sure probably get into the center of town and see if there’s big factories guessing this these days, it’s mostly a tourist town, no matter what happened here before. Very sleepy. These little towns are out here. Oh. So here’s the emptying station. Well, we got diesel for 1696. That’s crazy. We’re arriving in Volda, and I’m going to take the ferry across here, I think. Another ferry. So I’m going to Folk. I don’t know if this is the right thing to do, the most scenic thing to do, but.. Take the E39 Prima Fil Space 651 Ferry. We’ll find out. So I’ve never been here either to Waldo, and I’m not gonna see any of it only from the sea, basically, so I’m gonna take the boat here straight across. and keep driving Continue on Frem Filk Space 651 for three kilometers. All right, we’re arriving in Folka, and off we go. Continues straight to stay on E39 Pri Filkspace 6 651. Continue on E39 for 34 kilometers. Right I parked up for the evening and there’s some water almost feels like it’s coming from the sky again so weird weird Just like water falling out of the sky, almost like a shower. I don’t know what that is. Makes this kind of dripping sound on the van. Kind of weird. Should I be worried about this? I don’t know. Seems so strange why anyone would just dump a bunch of water, like just down outside. That’s waste of like good snow in my opinion anyway, so nothing special about this place. I am on my way down to No Fuelwide and gonna go there either tomorrow or Tuesday Tomorrow is a holiday, so nothing so’s going to be open there. It’s also a big traffic day because people are coming home from this holiday. It’s raining pretty heavily now. What else is new?

After surviving a blizzard without winter gear https://youtu.be/4vTp23UiWLM, and sharing my first winter of extreme van life with snow storms and freezing cold, the journey continues — this time into Norway’s most dramatic fjords and alpine wilderness.

  4. Of course, the brakes wear out the disk and you live in the mountains) constantly brake on the lifting and descent to resist … The error can burn if there is little brake liquid or sensor It is faulty … If when braking the car does not throw either in the left or in the right and does not lead sideways, then everything is fine with the brakes …

  5. Your videos bring peace into our lives. Please remember: wether it be a white-out…a blizzard…a torrent…wind vortex, or just an easy drive through the countryside in a serene drizzle; to me, you are bringing liquid sunshine to our lives without interfering with Norway’s beauty. I am grateful for your peace and serenity. Please continue bringing that joyful demeanor, and your beautiful country and people to your viewing community. Sincere thanx.

E così all'infinito.
Se hai questo problema può succedere che non lo diagnosticano, perchè è un controllo che non fanno sempre. Va fatto a motore caldo.
Quindi quando vai all'officina fallo presente. Chiedi di controllare i sensori della temperatura del motore.
Grazie per i tuoi video, mi piacciono molto, mi piace il mondo visto con i tuoi occhi. Buona fortuna 😉

  10. Hi, Jarl, If you have time, what is the difference between fjords, glaciers, Alps, and mountains? I could look it up, but the encyclopedia gets too technical. Thank you. I spent this weekend binging on watching your videos. Super quality and quiet time in my opinion.

  11. Jarl this video was specifically awesome, your country is gorgeous brother, your drone footage is as good as it gets, I really can see why you luv living the way you do Stay Sharp brother 💪🔥

  16. I was thinking about the Vikings as you were riding the roads through the Alps. What a beautiful place to live. The water levels may have been higher then. They would have so many fabulous places to stay.

  17. Another great addition to my viewing time!!!! I watch your uploads and then go back and watch another. Its fun watching your progress. You are just the best van life legend! CHEERS!!!!!!⛷️🏂☕️
