[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] Hi everyone. This is Jen from Jen and Joe on the go and I am going to do a walk and talk of the Allstar Music Resort. We are staying here for a night at the start of our trip and we are staying here for a night at the end of our trip and in between we will be somewhere else. Um, but our room is in the jazz section and we are by the quiet pool which turn this around so you can see. We are by the quiet pool. Oh, look at that. A Disney squirrel. Squirrel. Okay, so we’re in the jazz section. So, we just got here today. It is a balmy gosh, I think it’s 92° and you can feel it in every ounce of your body. It is warm, kids. It is really warm. Um, but anyway, so here’s the jazz section. Super cute. I love the drums and the symbol outside of each building. A cute fountain in front of us. And here’s the section we’re in. [Music] So, this is cute. [Music] A nice little fountain in the middle of the jazz section. This is such a cute hotel. We have not stayed at this resort since the kids were little, so it’s been quite a few years. But everything looks like it’s going to be well lit tonight. There’s my lamp posts all over the place, saxophone, and a trumpet. So, here’s a fun fact for you all. Hold on. A hard time. Still trying to learn the DJI. Um, but this is my first time filming a resort tour. Joe usually does those, but since Joe isn’t here, it falls on me. And that’s okay. So, now we’re coming up to the Calypso section. Look at that. And the main pool, which I don’t know what the pool is called. Maybe it’s the Calypso pool, [Music] but we’ll see. We’ll walk around. [Music] There’s a lot of buildings in this resort. It is quite large. It is a value resort. So, there’s the Calypso section, the jazz section, and I’m not quite sure of the other sections. We’ll have to figure that out as we walk around. I’m not as familiar with this resort. Like I said, I haven’t stayed here in a really long time. So, we’re going to be in Disney this trip for seven nights. I’m really excited. It’s a girls trip with Ally and Ashley, my adult twin daughters. They’re 25. They actually treated me on this trip cuz, you know, they’re working girls now, which is I’m very fortunate and very grateful to them for this trip. So, here’s the pool. It’s quite a big pool. Try not to get anyone in their suits. So, let’s keep walking, shall we? So, we are going to be here for seven nights. Well, two nights at Allstar Music and five nights somewhere else. Um, we are going to go to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. And we are doing extra hours at Epcot this trip, which I know is a first for Ally and Ashley. They have not done um an after hours event at Epcot, but I have I believe I believe this will I think I’ve done all of them. Hollywood Studios was the last one I needed to cross off the list. So, let’s see what’s down there. I think then down there is Allstar Movies Baby, but here’s the main building. You’ve got the pool bar. It’s called the singing spirits pool bar. That’s super cute. And the intermission food court. And I believe there’s a gift shop in here, too. We’ll go check out the lobby. Actually, we’re going to go look at the map first so I can show you the other sections of the resort and try to get my bearings a little better. Let’s see. Oh, looks like they’re getting ready to do s’mores. That’s fun. All right, so we have the Calypso section, the jazz section, the rock, the country fair, the broad Broadway hotel. Yeah. So, this is actually it’s actually a huge resort. I didn’t realize there were this many sections. But here’s the map. So, we still need to find the Rock in the Country Fair and the Broadway Hotel. But let’s go inside first. Let’s get some AC going. [Music] So, you can enter the intermission food court right here. Oh, and here’s the arcade. Oh, that’s pretty big. Let’s take a little jaunt inside. Wow, look at this. There’s a lot in here. Wow. Love me some Pac-Man. Move it around. Wow, this is pretty big for a value resort. Nice. Wow. I have to say I’m pretty impressed. So, that means the gift shop has to be Yep. right down here. It’ll be right off the lobby. So, let’s go check that out. [Music] So, here’s the lobby. Oh, and here’s Maestro Mickey’s. This is the gift shop at Allstar Music. Lots of cute things. [Music] See what they got here. [Music] Grab and go snacks. You got the mugs. Got a whole bunch of stuffies. Wow. Lots of stuffies. [Music] All your apparel and hats over there. some lounge flies. Nice. [Music] So, let’s see if we can go find those other sections of the hotel. [Music] I think tonight it’s only going to drop to about 80°. So, yeah, when I say it’s warm, it’s definitely warm. All right, so let’s go back out and look at that directory so we can kind of figure out where things are. All right. So, so if this is Melody Hall, we are right here. We’ve got the Calypso buildings which we’ve passed and then we’ve got the jazz. So, then Country Fair. So, Rock in would be to the right and Country Fair’s to the back and Broadway’s to the left where I thought was Allstar Movies, but it is actually the Broadway Hotel. So, let’s take a right and go to the Rock in. Let’s go look see what we can find. [Music] Not quite sure how to get there. We’ll figure it out. [Music] H. Let’s see. [Music] I think the rock section is supposed to be over there. Let’s walk down here and see. The nice thing about Disney resorts is I always feel so safe. No matter which one I’m at, a value, a moderate, a deluxe, I feel safe to walk around at night or anytime during the day. So, let’s see. [Music] Let’s see. Nope. This is still the Calypso section. So, let’s go back out here. Can’t quite figure out where the other sections are. Hm. Let’s go down this way. Still think that’s the jazz section. So, as I was saying, we’re going to do an Epcot after hours event, which I’m really excited about. We have a lot of great dining this trip starting tomorrow with Olivia’s for brunch. I don’t think I’m going to share everything we’re doing, but nothing new. We’ve eaten at all the all the dining options we have we’ve dined at before. So, [Music] Okay. So, there is the rock part. I just got my bearings. It’s kind of behind the jazz section. I just saw it peeking out. So, we’ll take a look. But I love how the resort is. It’s so lush. Disney really does a great job with the landscaping. Everything always looks so pretty and wellkept. So, let’s see. Yep. So, if you go over here, we’ll find the rock section. And there’s parking in front of each section. So it doesn’t matter where you stay, you’re going to have parking right by your building. So there’s the rock section, the rock in Man, it is so warm. Let’s go this way so we can kind of stay shaded. So, look how cute that’s decorated with the records and the musical notes. And this looks like a big speaker. That’s darling. And again, more landscaping. [Music] Guys, hear my flip-flops. Oh, we’re back to the fountain which is over there. And then if we walk out this way, here’s that quiet pool again. Does anybody know if this is one of the dog friendly resorts? I haven’t seen any dogs here, but I think it is part of it. So, that looks over there like the Broadway section. Yep. Can see the big sign sticking out. Super cute. [Music] So, yeah, there’s the Broadway section. stage door. That’s super cute. So, now we just need to find the country section. I mean, for being such a large resort, it is very walkable. Oh, we finally have a breeze blowing in. Feels good. So, let me know in the comments below. Have you stayed at one of the All-Star resorts? Jen is at Walt Disney World with her daughters for an epic girls’ trip. Where’s Joe? Unfortunately, he stayed home. 🙁

They’re spending their first night at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. Jen shares a walking tour of the resort, including the main lobby, the video game arcade, and the beautiful grounds.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort has 10 buildings: Calypso 1 and 10; Jazz Inn 2 and 9; Rock Inn 4 and 5; Country Fair 5 and 6; Broadway Hotel 7 and 8. It also has two swimming pools, the Piano Pool and the Calypso Pool.
