From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by a sophisticated Japanese space. The subtle decorations convey the careful attention to detail. From the lobby window, you can see the hot springs along the Tanigawa River, which is the perfect location for me, who loves hot springs. In addition to yukata, you can also choose a samue, which is nice. You can choose your favorite pillow. A Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats + 3 tatami mats. I booked it with a gift certificate from a travel agency. I took my bath towel from my room to the large bath. The towels are made of gauze, which feels nice. The toilet. I don’t think I’ll ever use the unit bath. I’m sure I’ll feel even more relaxed when I step out onto the small balcony (unfortunately it’s raining today). All the baths are free-flowing, and there are apparently four hot springs. There is a mixed-gender open-air bath by the Tanigawa River, “Seseragi no Yu.” It is only for women from 7am to 10am, so this is a good place for a morning bath. The family bath is small, but it also has free-flowing hot spring water. Beef fillet, button shrimp, blackthroat seaperch For the appetizer , we ordered boiled sea bream eggs, boiled bamboo shoots, boiled herring , and freshly baked broad beans. The carefully cooked stew was heartwarming , and we ordered some Iwana sake. The aroma of the grilled fish was fluffy. We toasted while we had nothing to do. The fried food was young sweetfish, which you can see in the back. The basil vinegar miso was unique and good. Of course, the salt-grilled Iwana was delicious, and the bonito walnuts on the right were delicious. The head chef’s homemade furikake was light in flavor and had a strong flavor. The fruit was melon and ice cream, all of which were delicious . When we returned to our room, we were given a handwritten message and inari sushi, which was also exquisite . It was a luxurious breakfast using many local ingredients. The miso soup warmed up in this pot didn’t get cold, which was nice. The overnight dried sweetfish was delicious.
