Best way to enjoy Japan as a family – the local guided tour, customized only for your family

Luxury isn’t about five-star hotels. I recently discovered what real heartwarming luxury feels like. And it has nothing to do with marble bathtubs or rooftop pools. After my speaking gig in a rural area of Miyagi, Japan, locals created a fully customized trip for my family. They planned everything, the activities, timing, the transportation, restaurants, even guiding us through sites at my kids pace. As a mom, it was the most luxurious gift. I didn’t have to plan, organize, or think. I could just be present. My children didn’t just see Miyagi. They were welcomed into it. The tourist spots became meaningful because of the people who shared their stories with us. This wasn’t just tourism. It was being invited into a journey, one filled with connection, care, and memory. And now I want other traveling families in Japan to experience this kind of real heartwarming luxury too.

After a work trip, The locals didn’t just recommend places — they curated an entire experience for us and guided us around.

They arranged everything: the timing, transport, activities — all tailored to our family.
No planning. No stress.
We moved at our kids’ pace, listened to real stories, and felt genuinely welcomed.

My kids didn’t just see Miyagi — they connected with it.
And for me, as a mom, that was the ultimate luxury.
No logistics. No searching. Just… presence.

💡 That’s when it hit me:

I want other traveling families in Japan to experience this kind of real, heartwarming luxury, too.
So, I’ve decided to create my own tour — a journey where you’re not just a tourist, but a truly welcome guest.
