「 識名園」
那覇市にある「識名園」は、琉球王国時代に王族の保養や、中国からの使節をもてなす迎賓館として使われていた格式高い庭園です。
自然の地形を活かして造られた池や小橋、東屋（あずまや）などが、まるで昔にタイムスリップしたかのような雰囲気を演出してくれます。
識名園は、首里城を補完する「迎賓空間」として重要な役割を担い、2000年には「琉球王国のグスク及び関連遺産群」としてユネスコ世界遺産にも登録されました。

Located in Naha City, Shikinaen is an elegant garden that once served as a royal retreat and a guesthouse for Chinese envoys during the Ryukyu Kingdom era.
Designed to harmonize with the natural landscape, the garden features a central pond, stone bridges, and traditional pavilions, creating an atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time.
Shikinaen played an important role as a reception space complementing Shuri Castle and was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 as part of the “Gusuku Sites and Related Properties of the Kingdom of Ryukyu.”
