【速報】12月10日(火)嵐山の紅葉状況!悲しくなる!紅葉状況を世界一早くお届け!
Hello everyone! This is YUGO from THE KYOTO. Today is Tuesday, December 10th. I’m in Arashiyama. Look at this… Togetsukyo Bridge. And the Katsura River. Actually, I think I uploaded a video before this one… …where I took a walk along the south side of the Katsura River and went to Senkoji Temple. I think that’s already uploaded by now. Next, I want to check the current state of the autumn leaves on the north side of the Katsura River in Arashiyama, as usual. That’s because it rained two days ago, and I thought the rain might have caused many of the autumn leaves to fall. That’s why I went to Kiyomizu-dera Temple yesterday, but… today, following Kiyomizu-dera, I’ve come to Arashiyama to investigate. I checked the autumn leaves on the south side of the Katsura River earlier… …but yeah, a lot have fallen. The autumn leaves are nearing the end. Even so, I encountered some beautiful autumn leaves and beautiful mountains. I’ll put the link to that video in the description, so please check it out. Anyway, the south side was pretty good. Senkoji Temple was beautiful, and there were other nice spots. So, I’ve finished my investigation there, and I’m heading to the north side now. It’s really beautiful, isn’t it? From Togetsukyo Bridge… …the mountains… …are truly refreshing to look at. The colors of these mountains… The last time I came to Arashiyama was about 10 days ago… …I think. Compared to that time… The leaves are getting pretty. The autumn leaves are coming to an end, but… Somehow, those mountains are still quite beautiful. While walking along the south side of the Katsura River a little while ago, I also saw… from the other side of the river… I could see that there seemed to be quite a few maple leaves remaining on the north side. I thought. Still, inevitably, the north side… I think there are some parts that have already fallen. The maple leaves in front of the Togetsukyo Bridge… These haven’t fallen yet. They haven’t fallen yet. Even the inner parts are still green… parts… are still there. The river is beautiful, isn’t it? Maybe because the autumn leaves in Arashiyama are almost over, but… I feel like there are fewer tourists. In other words,… you can relax. If you want to take your time touring Arashiyama, now might be the time. Even the rickshaw pullers, until last week… were selling rides even without calling out to tourists, but this week they are calling out. The line for Arabica Coffee is about the same length as during the peak of the autumn leaves. The same as two weeks ago. I really don’t understand why Arabica Coffee has such a long line. Is it some kind of special coffee? These maple leaves are beautiful, but they’re starting to fall, from the tips. Compared to the south side of the Katsura River, this side gets more sunlight, so… The south side, too… I really want you to see it, but the north side is definitely more beautiful. However, the south side… If you walk straight ahead, there’s a temple called Sengyo-ji… You’ll encounter an incredibly beautiful hidden spot, and it’s…highly recommended. By the way, the video I took earlier, “Investigating the South Side,” is a video about going to Sengyo-ji Temple. And, since I was already going to Sengyo-ji, I figured I might as well investigate the south side while I was there. I’m not sure if it’s properly maintained, but it’s beautiful. There are still some leaves left. Furthermore, the maple leaves at Kissho are starting to fall. The maple leaves on the right side of the front of Kissho turned red quite early… so they’re falling early, too. On the north side, there are still many places with beautiful maple leaves… quite a few, actually. It’s so hot though. If I… …fasten the zipper on my down jacket, I’ll start sweating. Ah, but it’s beautiful. There are still some leaves left. That this many leaves remain on December 10th… is truly unusual. This video shows me walking along the north side of the Katsura River… There’s an observation deck at the top of the mountain… and I filmed the… …ending there. That’s the flow of this video. The north side of the Katsura River and… …the path leading up the mountain from the north side… and the view from the observation deck at the summit, so you can get a full picture of the autumn leaves in Arashiyama right now. It’s all fallen now… it was so beautiful. What a shame. Even this is gone now. The maple leaves were beautiful, but they’ve all fallen. This was beautiful… I’ll put links to last week’s videos in the description… so please check them out. These were quite beautiful maple leaves… but they’ve all fallen now. Walking along the north side of the Katsura River… you’ll come across these stairs. Let’s go past these stairs for now… The place beyond this is quite beautiful. Looking from the south side to the north side of the Katsura River, I thought it was incredibly beautiful… It’s beautiful to view the north side from the south as well. It’s nice. These maple leaves are also starting to wither. Sad. This area is almost completely bare now. But there are still some places where the leaves remain… so today I want to make a video searching for those places. By the way, on the south side of the Katsura River, I mentioned earlier that I filmed a video of Senko-ji Temple… the south side has… some areas where the leaves are still beautifully intact. If you’re coming to Arashiyama, I hope you’ll go and see the autumn leaves in that area. On the north side, the area right near Togetsukyo Bridge was also beautiful. Going deeper into this area… most of the leaves have fallen… There are more fallen leaves than remaining ones, so it’s hard to say the remaining autumn leaves are beautiful. Isn’t this beautiful? This is beautiful. This is beautiful… Ah, but this… area up the mountain still has quite a few leaves remaining. Now then, the north side of Arashiyama has stairs… that go up the mountain. By climbing the mountain, you can reach an area with many autumn leaves, many maple leaves. And, if you climb further up the mountain, you’ll reach the observation deck at the summit… This summit observation deck has an amazing view. And, the Senko-ji Temple I went to earlier… can be seen objectively from the opposite side. That’s the kind of place it is. It’s really tough to climb, I think. If you’re wearing stylish shoes, you might not be able to climb. Still remaining! Maple leaves shining gold! It’s nice! Fallen leaves are lined up on the path, blocking the way. For those who want to sleep on a fluffy bed of maple leaves, please sleep here. I’ll politely decline, though. But still, there are places where… leaves remain. I don’t know whether it’s cold or hot. Quite a few leaves remain. Quite a bit remains. Ah, quite a lot of those in the back… bright red maple leaves look nice. They’ve all fallen already. This area too… is just starting to fall. Even from afar, you can see so many beautiful maple leaves remaining. Aren’t they beautiful? The sunlight makes them look great. They’re beautiful. Beautiful fallen leaves… Beautiful maple leaves remain, to some extent… The area we’ve just passed through is the most beautiful, I think. Most of them are starting to fall. Because maple leaves end their lives beautifully… that’s why… let’s accept reality. So, let’s climb these stairs… to the summit observation deck… and take a look. The “The Kyoto Channel” is busy during autumn and the cherry blossom season in spring… but during those times, many people will find “The Kyoto Channel” recommended and come across it… So for those times, please subscribe to the channel… and wait. When the cherry blossom season comes… I’ll upload many cherry blossom videos… Just like today, I’ll upload videos of the cherry blossom situation daily… and upload them continuously. If you don’t want to miss out… please subscribe to the channel. The stairs are tiring too. Well, anyway, today I… went to Senko-ji Temple just before this point. Walking along the south side of the Katsura River… Senko-ji Temple also involves quite a bit of mountain climbing. It’s practically mountaineering! After climbing that, I walked along the north side like this… climbing and descending the mountain on the south side… then climbed and descended another mountain, went home, and edited the video… Please praise me, everyone! If you think I’m working hard, please hit the like button! Every day! Praise me! Someone, praise me! Seriously… I think I really worked hard on this year’s autumn leaves filming. Always… I think it was October? In October, I only put out about four videos a month, but… already in November… I put out more than 40 videos, didn’t I? I’m not sure, but… I worked pretty hard. Some days I did two videos, some days three… I worked pretty hard, so I feel like I’ve put in that much effort… I really worked hard, so please praise me, everyone! If you’d like to praise me, please do so with a comment and a like button! The observation deck is getting closer. From the observation deck, you can see… earlier… Senko-ji Temple, which is located after walking along the south side of the Katsura River… is visible. And it’s so beautiful. I’ll put a link to the detailed video of Senko-ji Temple in the description. I’m posting it today, so I think you can see it even if you scroll back through the video list. So, we’ve arrived at the summit observation deck. Shall we show you? Aren’t the mountains beautiful? In the center of the screen… …can you see the shrine or temple? There are colorful banners hanging down there… that’s Senkoji Temple. By the way, in the previous video, I also showed the place where I’m filming from, from Senkoji Temple… …filming from there. Please check it out. The mountains are truly colorful… …and beautiful. Incredibly beautiful. It’s not just beautiful, but also… …it’s such a beautiful emerald green. Colorful! So beautiful! I feel like the colors are so much more beautiful this week than last week. I’ll give up the best photo spot on the observation deck… …and I’d like to end today’s video here. What did everyone think? If you liked today’s video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel. Comments are also encouraging for video creation, so please feel free to leave some! When writing comments, please use your native language. In the comments section, if you have any requests like, “I want to see a video of this place,” please feel free to write them down. Today’s… …video before this one, the one I went to on the south side of the Katsuragawa River… …I think that video is probably already up. Maybe it will be uploaded at the same time as this one. I’m not sure about the exact upload time, but I think it’s already up, so please check out that video as well and give it a thumbs up if you like it. Senkoji Temple was incredibly beautiful. The view from Senkoji Temple is also great… …and Senkoji Temple itself is truly beautiful. You can ring the bell there, it’s a wonderful temple, so please watch that video too. I hope you will watch it. So that concludes today’s video. Thank you all! Bye-bye! I’m going home to edit this now. I’ll really work hard on this, so please give it a thumbs up! Bye-bye!
