Cheers~ (cold-pressed veggie juice) Today we are at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree Yes the one just next to Rainforest WILD Special thanks to Klook for bringing us here So if you’re booking your next trip on Klook Remember to use our discount code Okay okay Enough enough Let’s show them around Later our viewers bored :> This resort by Banyan Tree is nestled within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve Kicked off our stay with a guided tour And our first stop is the luxurious Banyan Tree Spa The aroma the moment we walked in set our mind for vacation They also have an area for yoga classes to awake your senses and heal your inner being Right next to the spa We have the gym that is fully equipped with everything you need but hmmmm obviously… We don’t belong here >< ... at all We were ushered to the lush greenery to check out the rooms! which we will show you guys later~ Now we walk till the end of the resort These are the Grand Mandai Treehouse overlooking the vast jungle And the best kept secret - Ohhh So this is the secret pool Treehouse guests get exclusive use of this private pool This is where you get the best views of the sunrise It overlooks the Treehouse villas WOWWWW This is the whole river Wow Oh this is damn nice :O Yeah it's really beautiful here Is this even Singapore?? We are just like walking along the rooftop now and... itself is SO HUGE Welcome to Mandai This whole area is 42 hectares How big is that? I can't imagine ‘Hectares’ is so foreign to me I only know ‘acres’ Hundred Acres... This is where the fun is! The rooftop pool that overlooks the Mandai river ... Is there even a Mandai river?? Some pineapple juice to beat the heat Much fun touring with the gang Off to check in :) Wow We are here at Mandai Rainforest Resort and this is the Sanctuary Room which is located on the third floor of the hotel Behind me is the wardrobe Open concept wardrobe that has such a beautiful robe! Emerald green Made of linen Lots of ample space to put your luggage The hangers are actually made of leftover material So everything in this hotel is eco-friendly Here we have a safe... a torch... A... ... beach bag! Although there’s no beach here but okay A very nice... rattan basket And... beach slippers! with a shoehorn Then... Here is our King-sized bed! It looks so comfortable The sheets are so soft and they gave us four pillows Wow the bedside lamps are so nice! Oh first time I’m seeing two different sets of lamps but it actually blends very well And just look at this bedside table What is this Tree stump?! Okay And they gave us this seed pencil It contains rose seeds Yup So you can plant rose? Okay What's inside this box? Oh my?? They have this just for this note pad? Ohh it’s beautiful It’s made of leather Wow Leather... Strings... Okay The other bedside table is not a tree stump It's a tray Okay? Ya sia It's a tray Kopitiam tray XD Oh it's a remote A box for a remote Their switches are all digitalised There's so many switches here Gonna take some time to figure it out Okay This reminds me... ... of a beehive Speaking of which This resort does have many workshops for you Like honey making... essential oil making... There's some body scrub workshop Yeah And it's complimentary for the hotel guests So if you are lucky You come on the right day You can sign up for it! This is where you relax after a long day of enjoyment Okay a nice sofa And let's see what did they give us? Oh, it's a cheese platter with like nuts and persimmons... dried fruits... I think this is goat cheese Okay And they’re so nice to give us a dessert tower Oh this is pandan lapis Nice stools for you So you can chit chat with your friends And let's check out the pantry! Reusable bottle This is actually made of sugarcane And why- Why is it here? Because... We get our own water dispenser (!!) Oh my It fits nicely! Okay Cool water Okay It’s done Water is ready~ And they do have dispensers all around the resort So you can bring this bottle along everywhere you go Glasses and... Coffee pods with a Nespresso machine And here we have the tea selection by Monogram And here we have such beautiful cutlery~ Wah They look so premium like that Okay what’s here? Oh the fridge! Payable drinks And... here... We have another space here There’s snacks Payable snacks Payable Chargeable Wow they even got a recycling bin! I think resorts are all about eco-friendliness Just like... Yeah And this brings us to the very beautiful vanity Welcome to the toilet Okay We have such huge mirrors with like side panels It is so tastefully designed like the colours they use with a splash of blue It’s like wow Let's check out what's inside Okay That's a lot of things Wow Okay This is really a buffet of toiletries Oh so this is one set This is the other set Only this person can use mouthwash... Yes, correct XD Find everything you need here But this box is very beautiful Face towels... Soaps... We have mugs here Uhhh... I thought this is a Dyson But... It's not It’s just a hairdryer Okay we have hooks Ample hooks everywhere Towels... Look at this! Soft rug While you brush your teeth Wooo And it's white eh How do they maintain it? And there is a weighing scale Am I supposed to weigh myself? Okay classified information :> And we have the toilet~ The shower overlooking the river~ It’s a rainshower by Grohe Handheld shower… and toiletries for you Very nice stone feel The whole room right… It’s made of like either wood rattan or stone I want to highlight this wall – This feature wall is so beautiful It’s made of rattan Not forgetting the view~ Ohhh Amazing! Wah This is unobstructed views leh That’s the benefit of staying in a Sanctuary room because we are above the trees I hope we get to see birds Okay Time to eat! Their special Double Double room

P: Ohhhh A: Ohhhh x2 [gasp in awe] A: Can hear the… A: I can hear the birds P: Amazing P: It makes a difference Good morning~ 6:45a.m… We are already out It’s a miracle It’s amazing Wasn’t that easy to sleep last night actually The night light… That blue light is soo bright Yeah And then there’s so much noise from outside From people closing the blinds There was this humming noise in the room I think it’s the air conditioner We are very light sleepers >< [birdsong] Looking for some wildlife :) We are here at the infinity pool on the roof that overlooks the reservoir It's like early morning now so there's no one around Gonna go for a dip and... enjoy the serenity in the hustling Singapore I can’t believe this is Singapore by the way It’s UNREAL Yeah This pool is quite long Quite nice for a swim Because it’s very long right There are actually private spots You kind of will have your own space You don’t have to worry about fighting for space with others Off to breakfast :) First time we are queuing for a breakfast buffet It's quite long I thought this only happens on cruise Thank you Oh yes please Thank you We’re in for breakfast~ Let's bring you around and show you what’s there to eat! So there’s... Dim sum... Some noodles here These are your staples - Congee... Chicken congee... Wok fried noodles... Oh! Kimchi fried rice There’s a lot of Koreans staying here And stir-fried tomato egg - (many) Chinese as well And your breakfast staples Bratwurst... Sausage... Bacon... Yeah roasted (vegetables) Oh it looks good! Malay food - Sambal squid... Chicken rendang... Coconut rice! Sambal chilli (clapping like a seal) Oooh! That’s nice Belgian waffles French toast... They make it look so homely Like They just serve it in a pan Okay what is this? Oh you can make your own juice [excited] You can make your own juice!! All these are ingredients to blend Lemongrass... Ginger... Oh my gosh And the machine! Ta-da~ Let's try it later Wah there's a lot of drinks Oh my gosh 1... 2... 3... There’s six different types of milk here And this is your cold cuts - Smoked salmon So many different types of smoked salmon Wah it looks good eh Kopi, teh More drinks - Coffee, tea And...
