Free Shuttle to Tokyo Station!? 🚌 Budget Hotel Stay for Just ¥10,000 Near Station | Toyoko Inn Tokyo

The Toei Shinjuku Line is a line that runs across the city. There are many convenient stations, such as office districts such as Kudanshita and Bakuroyokoyama, and Shinjuku 3-Chome, which has underground access to Shinjuku Isetan. Tokyo Skytree is right in front of you! The hotel is also within walking distance from Higashi-Nihonbashi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line and Suitengumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line. Personally, I recommend getting off at Hamacho Station, where you can walk along the Sumida River. This channel mainly introduces Japanese hotels, but also introduces tourist spots and Japanese food. If you are interested, please subscribe to our channel! Hamacho Station A2 exit. Excellent access from the station. The hotel opened in 2008 and has 208 rooms. There is a free shuttle bus between Tokyo Station and the hotel. It’s very convenient! The price is for a single room and includes free breakfast. If you tilt your head to one side and look at the new Toyoko Inn logo, it starts to look like a house …!! Our wish is to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as if it were a second home. The lobby has a calm atmosphere. There are vending machines next to the automatic check-in machines. Alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase. It’s glaring as if to say “buy it,” lol, but it seems to be a vending machine with prizes. I also found an amenity corner. They stock everything from basic items like hairbrushes and cotton swabs to skin care products. After collecting our room wear, I headed to our accommodation floor. There is a coin laundry at the back of the lobby, which is convenient for those staying multiple nights. Tonight’s room is on the 7th floor. Is it on the right …? It was the corner room at the very back. Touch the card key to enter. The view is a bit blurry …sorry! The single room is the size of a typical business hotel. It opened in 2008. The building itself is not new, but the facilities are well-equipped. it would be easy to use for doing a little PC work. The free size loungewear is a one-piece dress. There is only one type of pillow. Is it a little hard …? You can store a suitcase under the bed. Now, let’s check out the desk area! First of all, there is a hair dryer and the remote control for the air conditioner and TV. The hot days continue, but I want to stay comfortable indoors. There is an electric kettle and a mug under the desk. You can choose tea bags at the amenity corner on the front floor. There is a mini fridge at the bottom right of the desk, which is convenient for keeping drinks chilled. Summer in Japan is hot and humid, and causes a lot of sweat. To prevent heatstroke, it is essential to drink plenty of water. The key is not just to replenish fluids, but to replenish salt as well. In addition to sports drinks, which efficiently replenish fluids and minerals, you can also replenish your fluids with salty rice crackers or salty candies. The unit bath feels a little old. The toilet is a washlet type. Toothbrush sets, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the bathroom. There is no unpleasant dirt and the place is well cleaned. The facial cleanser and lotion in the amenity corner are made by POLA. Makeup remover is also provided, so you can feel at ease even if you have to stay overnight at short notice. The room tour is over. I think I’ll go outside. The name of the hotel where I stayed this time was “Toyoko Inn Tokyo Station Shin-Ohashi Mae.” As the name suggests, Shin Ohashi Bridge appears before your eyes! First built in 1693, it is the third oldest bridge over the Sumida River. It is now an iron bridge, but the wooden bridge before it was rebuilt is also known as the model for Utagawa Hiroshige’s woodblock prints. Vincent Van Gogh’s work ” Bridge in the Rain” is a copy of Utagawa Hiroshige’s nishiki-e of Shin Ohashi Bridge . Sumida River Terrace is a waterfront terrace developed on both banks of the Sumida River. You can enjoy running or walking while looking at the waterfront scenery. There are also restaurants nearby where you can enjoy meals and beer. More than 30 bridges span the Sumida River, which meanders from the Arakawa River to Tokyo Bay. Currently, 12 bridges are lit up. The illuminations at Shin Ohashi Bridge are a yellowish color. Each bridge has a different design and color, making for a fun evening stroll! You can see the Skytree between the apartment buildings. The lighting of the Skytree changes depending on the time of day and the season. It’s exciting every time you see it. From Shin Ohashi Bridge, you can see the trains crossing the bridge! This episode is all about ramen … ( laughs ) I came to “Hustle Ramen”. This popular restaurant has locations mainly in downtown areas such as Kameido and Kinshicho. The impact of the text and photos is strong. Pork bone and soy sauce ramen with back fat chacha …I’m intrigued. Let’s go in. There are many counter seats inside the restaurant, but there are also table seats available. I’m intrigued by the slogan “2,850 types of ramen to choose from ” ! If it can be customized, it’s even more difficult to decide lol The lively walls give the place a bit of an izakaya-like atmosphere. You can also choose from 10 different types of basic ramen . This is the reason for the increased variety. The most popular basic ramen is the “Fukkoku Ramen,” a richer version of Hustle Ramen. This time I tried “Black Nori Ramen”. A generous amount of chopped seaweed on top of the white soup. “Back fat chacha” dishes are characterized by rich pork back fat that has been simmered to bring out its flavor. It is said that this name comes from the action of sprinkling the white back fat using a net. Hustle Ramen’s soup is a special soup that is hand-cooked for 10 hours. It looks rich, but the seafood and pork bone soup has a mellow, light and gentle flavor! They have a wide variety of basic ramen and toppings. I’ll probably come back here again and again looking for different combinations lol It’s open until 3am, so you can drop in for a drink afterwards ! The hickory striped nightwear is common to all Toyoko Inn hotels. The material is not too thin and light, so it looks comfortable to wear. good night. good morning. The hotel is located near the Shuto Expressway. I slept soundly as usual, but the noise may be bothersome to some people. All Toyoko Inn hotels across the country offer complimentary breakfast service. Last night, I answered a survey on the TV screen in my room asking whether or not I would like breakfast. This is apparently an effort to reduce food waste caused by leftovers at the breakfast buffet. Of course, I’m also working to reduce the environmental impact of our amenities. Toothbrushes and combs made from bamboo biomass material. They have also implemented a circular recycling system where used amenities are recycled and repurposed into new amenities. The hotel is also proactive in being environmentally conscious. The breakfast venue is located near the front desk. It is connected to the lobby, so I saw some people eating on the sofas in the lobby. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic (laughs). This may be a bit harsh for those who want to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. Curry soup from the popular curry chain ” CoCo Ichibanya . ” It’s a familiar name at Toyoko Inn. The basic selection includes several types of bread, salads, Japanese food, and Western food. The menu is not extensive, but the food is made with carefully selected local ingredients. You can also have your prepared breakfast in your room. If you have children with you or want to avoid the crowds at the venue, you can enjoy your breakfast in your room. Today’s breakfast is ready. of soup available each day . They have partnered with various companies to offer over 17 different types of healthy soup. This is the kind of service you would expect from a major hotel. Get an open seat with a view of the entire lobby! Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:00, making it a convenient place to stop by before heading out. The Toyoko Inn where I stayed this time , Tokyo Station Shin-Ohashi Mae, is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Hamacho Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line. A free shuttle bus also operates between the hotel and Tokyo Station. Since I’m here, let’s hop on the bus and head to Tokyo Station! Operating times vary depending on the season, so please check the official website or at the front desk. The room I stayed in was simple, but had all the necessary amenities. It gives the impression of a typical business hotel. However, it is nice to know that Toyoko Inn offers services such as free breakfast and a shuttle bus. It was a good value hotel with a stay of just 10,000 yen! Now, let’s get on the bus. I was the only passenger. The boat was all to myself. The shuttle bus runs in the morning and in the evening from early morning to late night. 15 minutes , depending on traffic conditions . I take a moment to enjoy the scenery on the way to the station. Arrived in front of the Yaesu Central Exit of Tokyo Station. The Yaesu Exit is convenient because it is close to the Shinkansen platform. The area is surrounded by commercial facilities such as Tokyo Midtown Yaesu and Tokyo Station Ichibangai. Along Yaesu Street is the Artizon Museum. Although there are a large number of Impressionist paintings, the museum also exhibits a wide range of genres, including early modern Japanese art and modern Western paintings. It’s a great place for art lovers. The basement level of the Yaesu Central Exit is home to areas such as Kurobei Yokocho and Tokyo Ramen Street, which look like downtown areas. Now I’m heading to Character Street. It is located outside the ticket gates on the 1st and B1 floors, inside Tokyo Station Ichibangai . There are many shops featuring popular characters such as Snoopy, Miffy, and Rilakkuma. the “JUMP SHOP,” a store selling original Shueisha merchandise and anime goods , and the “Pokemon Store,” which is popular with tourists. In a more sophisticated area, there is also a store specializing in Shochiku Kabuki goods! There are a lot of people and it’s easy to get lost, so I recommend checking the floor map in advance. Ah, eating animals! It’s a sweet that brings back memories for some generations, but it’s actually been made into a movie! It was a pop-up shop for a limited time. This is a store featuring the popular character “Sumikko Gurashi.” The secret to her popularity is not only her cute appearance, but also her unique character setting, which involves her having negative worries and preferring to stay in the corner. Shochiku Kabukiya Honpo’s striking makeup catches the eye. It’s strange that it’s in the Character Street area, but I guess you could say it’s a character in a way (laughs). I have a wide selection of popular Kabukiza items and original merchandise. They also sell Kabukiage, which has an addictive sweet soy sauce sauce. Wow … a face mask with a kumadori design would make an interesting souvenir. I came to the Tomica Plarail shop. It was recently renovated and reopened in February of this year . The rows of miniature cars are so cute. Plarail trains are also displayed in an easy-to-see manner. this is … A large-scale diorama that recreates Tokyo Station! Not only kids but adults too will be excited! For those who like the Sentai, there’s the Kamen Rider Shop. It seems like it will take more than just a quick stop. If you have a specific shop in mind, I recommend that you visit with plenty of time to spare. The next ones to attack are the Pokemon lol I was invited to the first floor… Although the store itself is not large, it offers a re-edited selection of over 5,000 items for sale. Stationmaster Pikachu will greet you at the entrance. Where does Pokémon Store Station lead to? …To the cashier? You can get your hands on Tokyo Station exclusive products, including Stationmaster Pikachu stuffed toys. It seems like Pokémon fans will be tempted by all sorts of things! Currently, pocket monsters, or “Pokemon,” are extremely popular overseas. The creator of Pokémon is game creator Satoshi Tajiri. Satoshi …Satoshi! The name of the anime’s main character, “Satoshi,” is derived from Tajiri’s name. By the way, the name of Satoshi’s rival in the anime, Shigeru, is named after Shigeru Miyamoto, whom Tajiri respects. He is a Nintendo game developer who created masterpieces such as “Super Mario Bros.” and “The Legend of Zelda.” Catching and trading Pokémon …doesn’t this bring back memories from your childhood? One of the memories of summer vacation is playing with insects. Apparently Tajiri got the idea for Pokemon from collecting insects. Interesting! Next up was Tokyo Ramen Street. By the time I was browsing the shops, it was already lunchtime. This is a ramen-focused episode, so I’m sorry to have to use ramen again (laughs). Ramen Street is home to a variety of ramen restaurants serving a wide range of cuisines. There are eight stores, so it’s hard to choose. “Tokyo Niboshi Ramen Gyoku.” This is a specialty store that serves “Niboshi Ramen” made by a famous seafood restaurant. I chose the special thick and creamy soba noodles. Behind the counter, there are spacious table seats. The interior of the store has a clean and Japanese feel. The thick soba noodles have arrived! A fresh raw egg sits in the middle. I’ll enjoy having this. The restaurant’s specialty is combining a rich soup packed with the flavor of chicken with several types of dried sardines. The pork bone soup is thick and rich in flavor. I think the raw egg makes it a little milder. The Ukiyo-e style paintings also add a nice touch. It’s not as busy as other ramen shops, and has a comfortable atmosphere. Thank you for the meal. This is the Marunouchi Station Square in front of Tokyo Station. When you think of Tokyo Station, the combination of the red brick station building and skyscrapers is very striking. It is one of the masterpieces of architect Tatsuno Kingo, who is known as the father of modern architecture. Although part of the building was lost during war damage, restoration was completed in 2012. The brick laying techniques of the time were highly advanced and have not been passed down to modern craftsmen. Apparently, craftsmen underwent training to carry out the restoration. There was talk of replacing the station building with a high-rise building during the redevelopment, but I’m glad that it was preserved in its original form. The “maru” in Marunouchi means “castle.” means “the area surrounded by the inner and outer moats of Edo Castle.” Right in front of you are Maru Building and Shin-Maru Building. The boulevard sandwiched between skyscrapers leads to the Wadakuramon intersection in front of the Imperial Palace. In autumn, the ginkgo trees turn a beautiful yellow. Looking up at the Marunouchi South Exit premises, you will see an octagonal dome ceiling. The ceiling is painted with the eight signs of the Chinese zodiac. As for the four zodiac signs that aren’t drawn … it’s a long story, so maybe next time ♪ On your right is the Tokyo Station Gallery, an impressive art museum with exhibition rooms that still retain the original brick walls from when the building was first constructed. If you stop by Tokyo Station, be sure to enjoy the interior decorations that give off a sense of history. Thank you for watching until the end. I will continue to introduce various hotels and tourist spots, so please [subscribe to our channel]!

I stayed at Toyoko Inn Tokyo Shinohashi-mae — a budget-friendly hotel located in central Tokyo.

  1. 東横インは 仕事でよく使ってました。今では 旅行で宿泊する際にお世話になっております(笑)

  2. Cool, a new video from you ! I look forward to enjoy it.

Privately we call the Toyoko Inns "fridge hotels" – because we stayed in the Toyoko Inn in Shin-Okubo, and it was so cold in the room, that I was wearing a wollen hat and my winter jacket.

  5. 1st time seeing breakfast in lounge!! Speechless….
Also it could be enjoyable to hang out in Yaesu Central underground, even for non anime fans!

  6. Who said Tokyo was expensive? On your videos I've seen loads of amazingly cheap hotels compared to our crazy UK prices these days. But they are great value too, often featuring things we don't see here in Britain.

  7. Hello and also thanks for another incredible video!! This hotel looked great & very neat, with all the necessary for a comfy stay!! And the bridge looks very cool – despite the yellow light being a bit ugly for me, because yellow is one of my least favourite colors. – and with lots of style!! And the ramen made me drool a lot even I had my dinner before watch the video… surely it was really delicious! Also it was very clever the way they try to decrease wasting food with that survey on the TV… really clever indeed!! And the small tour with the shops was so enjoyable and fun, with all the sweets and souvenirs to buy – I loved the one with the windchimes and the strange masks – and enjoy in your walk for the place!! Love from Spain! 💚🇪🇦
