good afternoon i’m coming to you from Selma North Carolina we’re here for yet another Amtrak tour so come along with us let’s go make some memories let’s go see what the station has to offer but before we do make sure you hit that subscribe button make sure you like this video all right guys come on let’s go [Music] said check out the old caboose they got over there want to walk over there and see it this is their parking this was a caboose was put here in 2005 it is locked you can see inside here there’s some tables chairs looks like a place to lay down let’s see what this station has you can see this station’s undergoing a lot of construction here let’s go over this way and see there a couple of old luggage carts here they got flat tires they ain’t going nowhere look at that they got these Let’s go see what’s around this side of the station if anything so they got all this scaffolding up around the entire building i guess they’re going to be redoing the brick work I guess so see this station’s in the middle you see how the track splits off right there the track splits the track going northbound stays on this side and then the track going southbound so technically two trains could be servicing at this station at the same time so see here’s your platform on this side and then looking this way I think there’s a train coming i think I see a train coming this way i heard a train horn when we first got out i definitely see the train down there check out this interchange right here with the trucks lady Bird Johnson what’s this that I’m looking at some old clothes here I guess some old history about Selma founded in 1867 finding machine they got like a take a book leave a book for your train journeys they got a soda machine vending machine with some snacks there and they got this old staircase check that out up to the second floor can’t go up that’s pretty cool i got this old typewriter 1929 that’s an old one telegraph and cipher book that’s pretty cool nice to over here ticket booth up here where you can size up your luggage to make sure it fits here i didn’t know that fix Vapor Realist from here in S [Music] can you see they got restrooms back this way [Music] heat heat heat heat heat heat heat heat heat heat all right guys so this is going to wrap up our quick Amtrak station tour here in Summit North Carolina if you enjoyed this video do like Amtrak station tours there is a playlist on our channel where you can watch over 100 Amtrak stations that we have toured and vlogged and visited and walked around the surrounding areas of if you check any of those other ones out let us know in the comments down below if you did enjoy this please hit that like button please subscribe also hit that notification bell so you’re notified the next time we post any kind of train content if you did enjoy this one and you are hoping to see another train go by maybe in the next video you’ll see one check it out up here all right guys see you on the rails see you soon
