Kenji drove for two hours. Unfortunately, the weather is bad today. It was a bit cloudy and rained on the way. The rain has stopped now. The weather is bad today and tomorrow. I found the hotel where we’ll be staying tonight. Arrived. We have arrived. Today we’re staying at the Nanki Shirahama Marriott Hotel. Arrival. Ki-chan, we arrived. Laughing. We arrived. We managed to get the twin strollers into the room. The room looks like this. Japanese-Western style room. There are two beds and a Japanese-style room in the back. This time, we had two baby cribs prepared for us. There are two of them lined up like this. LOL It takes up a lot of space. The baby bed is so big that the stroller can only go so far. Laughing. LOL We’ll be staying here tonight. You will each sleep in this crib. Since we have twins, we rented two cribs. This is where they sleep. It might be a good idea for them to spend their time awake in a Japanese-style room. I think they can just laze around here. This room has an ocean view. How about that? Wow! Amazing! The ocean of Shirahama is right in front of me. That’s probably Shirarahama Beach. Unfortunately, the weather is cloudy today. We can enjoy the ocean view atmosphere. That’s good. Spacious. It’s nice because there is a Japanese-style room. We will be able to spend our time leisurely. What about the bath? Something like this. Bathroom. This is the toilet. Toilet. There is also a bath. So we can bathe Yu-chan and Ki-chan here. This hotel has a large bath. We’re going to take turns going to the bath. We changed their diapers. Feel free to do whatever you want on the tatami mats. LOL They are rolling. LOL Tatami mats are nice. That’s good. This morning, Ki-chan successfully turned over on her own for the first time. And now she turned over under her own power. She turned face down on her own. Is it easy to do because the tatami mats are hard? Yu-chan has been able to do it for quite some time now. Ki-chan only has one leg and wears a leg brace. So I thought it would be difficult for her to turn over. But she did a great job today. Amazing! That’s really amazing. It seems easier to move around on tatami mats. Please move around as much as you like. Let’s have a tea break. Before coming to the hotel, we bought some “Fresh Kagerou” nearby. There is a famous confectionery from Wakayama called “Kagerou”. There is a Kagerou Cafe in Shirahama. You can only buy it there. Let’s open it. There were many different kinds for sale. I bought two types. Oh! Like this. Cute. Panda. LOL The left side is plain flavor, the right side is cafe au lait flavor. It has a chocolate panda on top. I’ll have some tea. I’ll enjoy having this. They are relaxed. LOL The cafe was full of customers. Looks like they also serve lunch. It was popular. Soft. It’s light as air. Delicious. Wow. Can you do it without this pillow? Laughing. Bang bang bang. She does this heel drop a lot. The cafe is also accessible with strollers. But this time I got takeaway. Like a fluffy cream puff. Like an eclair. Delicious. “I want to eat that too!” She probably thinks so. LOL Ki-chan. You look a little angry. LOL “Why can’t I eat it even though I want to?” I can see your belly. I can see the lemon pattern. It’s nice to relax at an inn like this when you have a baby. Your belly is sticking out. Even though you’re a lady, your belly is showing. “Your belly is sticking out!” “Your belly is sticking out!” You like new places so it’s fun, right? They both look like they’re having fun. Yu-chan. Oops. LOL If it hadn’t been raining, I would have taken a walk on the beach. We can’t go because it’s raining. Relaxing in our room. The large public bath is a hot spring. Shirahama has a hot spring called Shirahama Onsen. We can enjoy it at the hotel too. Yu-chan and Ki-chan can’t go in the hot spring yet. From what age can you enter the hot springs? If there is a baby bath they may be able to use it now. But it’s still a little early. Can babies go into the hot springs? I think it would be ok if you don’t have sensitive skin. I think hot springs with strong ingredients are difficult for babies to take. I want to go to a hot spring with you someday. What’s up? Are you sleepy? The noises she make when she is sleepy. Before 5pm. Bath time for the twins. They take a bath at this time every day. Let’s take turns taking a bath. By the evening, both of them were starting to get fussy. You’re sleepy. The twins get hot easily, so they wear light clothing at night. Here you are. This hotel doesn’t have a baby bath, so giving the baby a bath is a hassle. Both of them have gotten bigger, so it was difficult to wash them while holding them. But it’s nice to have a bathtub. That’s right. They both look like they’re going to fall asleep drinking milk. When we’re at home, they always fall asleep after a bath and a drink of milk. Will you sleep today too? They are tired. When they go to a new place, they get too excited and end up tiring. There’s a lot of excitement. Dinner is available at the hotel’s restaurant. However, since we have twins together, we chose to dine in our room. Apparently they provide Japanese lunch boxes. Well, that way we can eat more slowly. We can bring the twins to the restaurant. But I felt bad for them as they would usually be sleeping at dinner time. Both of them finished drinking milk and went to their cribs. They are not asleep yet, but they will be soon. Yu-chan brought the cushion she always uses. Ki-chan will probably just go to sleep. I also brought a blanket from home. Both of them seem a little uneasy because it’s a different environment than usual. Laughing. LOL It’s time to go to bed. Good night. They slept. That’s true. Rice. Steamed egg. Looks delicious. I’ll enjoy having this. The rooms are separate so it’s nice to be able to eat without waking the twins up. Tea. Cheers. Happy birthday. Thank you. It’s better than having to panic when the twins wake up in the middle of a meal at a restaurant. One baby is hard enough, but twins are even harder. I want to eat slowly. The twins are always asleep at 7pm. I’m glad they slept again today. They were taking a little longer to fall asleep than they would at home. But I’m glad they slept after all. Delicious. When we traveled just the two of us, we rarely had the chance to relax in a hotel.
I didn’t have much time to relax at the hotel. It feels fresh. The twins probably won’t wake up until they’re hungry in the middle of the night. I think I’ll have a leisurely meal and then take a bath. Well, it looks like twins could travel without any problems if they stayed in a hotel. I think it’s fine as long as the distance isn’t too far. An hour or two would be fine. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. All you have to do now is take a bath and relax. Did the staff come to take away the plates? What is that? Cake. LOL Amazing. LOL Please put the plate away. To my surprise, the cake arrived! LOL Tada! What a surprise! LOL Surprise birthday cake. LOL I’ll enjoy having this. You can order the ingredients in your omelette in detail. Looks delicious. There were many varieties of umeboshi plums, a Wakayama specialty, available. She was also scared of tunnels and maybe she didn’t like the dark. It’s almost time to check out. The twins fell asleep after breakfast. They are still sleeping. It’s almost time to leave. They have to be moved to a stroller. We’ll go sightseeing today and then head home. It was the twins’ first time staying in a hotel. They slept very well and seemed to have a great time.
