新潟佐渡旅行vlog:佐渡金山だけじゃないおすすめの観光地を巡る旅 🍣弁慶 | 宿根木 | たらい舟 | バスセンターのカレー🍛
Hello! This is okome from komelog. I went to Sado in Niigata the other day. I took the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Niigata. An hour after departure, the scenery outside has changed. Nagaoka is almost here. I would like to go to the fireworks festival in Nagaoka someday. After passing Nagaoka, the train journey is almost over. I arrived at Niigata Station. Before heading to Sado, I made a little detour to Benkei, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant at Pier Bandai. It is a popular restaurant that has a line even on weekdays, and I was able to enter after waiting about 30 minutes. This time, I stopped by the Niigata store due to time constraints, but I recommend the main store in Sado, as it is less crowded. At the nearby fresh fish center, fresh fish from Sado and Niigata are lined up. To the Sado Kisen Terminal. I headed to Sado by jetfoil. If you use the jetfoil, you will arrive at Sado in about an hour. As I was looking at the sea, I could see Sado Island. I finally arrived after taking the Shinkansen and a boat. Speaking of Sado, the crested ibis and Sado Okesa welcomed me. While waiting for our turn at the rental car shop, we were greeted by the mascot cat. If you have decided to go to Sado, we recommend that you make your rental car reservation early. (There are few rental cars available) We head towards Ogi. It was May at this time, but the scenery already felt like summer. On the way, we had a light breakfast at a recommended cafe. Bakery Cafe “Shimafuumi”. You can enjoy your meal while looking at the sea from the terrace seats. Of course, the bread is delicious, but the homemade granola sold at the shop is also delicious. There is also such a wonderful space. We drove a little and came to “Hangiri” to ride a tub boat. We were taken further out to sea than we expected , and it was quite fun. A short walk from the tub boat dock leads to Shukunegi Coast, where you can see the mysterious topography. This place is called a geopark, and it seems that the rich nature is preserved and protected and used as a local resource. Behind Shukunegi Coast, there is Shukunegi, a village where traditional buildings remain. Shukunegi. A village in the cove of Ogi Coast that developed as a port of call for Kitamae ships. It has been designated as a nationally important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings. It has become a tourist destination, but there are still residents living there today. Old signs remain from the past. There were several cafes where you can eat and rest. We drove to Ogi Port and had lunch at Shichiemon, a fresh soba restaurant that my husband found. It is a long- established soba restaurant that has been in business for over 200 years. The only thing on the menu is this cold soba. When I looked into it, I found out that the restaurant will be closing at the end of 2024, which is unfortunate. I’m glad I was able to visit before that. Thank you for the meal. After lunch, we came across Tenugui and Coffee Hiyoriyama, which we happened to come across. There were many tenugui and postcards lined up. There were also many items related to Sado, which would make good souvenirs. It was a cafe with a calm atmosphere that was renovated from an old house, and the lunch that the people around me were eating looked delicious. I wanted to eat both a parfait and cheesecake, so I ordered this plate as a luxury. It looked and tasted great. I’m glad to know that there is such a nice restaurant in Sado. We returned to Ogi Port and it was about time to go home. A rice field where you might see a Japanese crested ibis. I’ve been to Sado many times, but I’ve never seen a wild Japanese crested ibis. On the way, we made a detour to Sado Dairy’s direct sales store “Milk Pot”. If they have soft serve ice cream, especially Camembert soft serve, I highly recommend you try it. We stopped by Kitazawa Flotation Plant on the way back. It was a luxurious time listening to the birds singing. I think the scenery is the most beautiful at this time of year. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Sado as we headed to Ryotsu Port. “Sadoky” is in charge of promoting Sado, and on the way back we took a ferry to Niigata. It took a little time, but the leisurely boat ride was one of the pleasures. The seagulls are waiting everywhere. There was a professional guy there. I’ll come back soon. I’m relaxing in my favorite window seat. I can eat Sado Dairy soft serve ice cream even on the ferry. I wonder if these seagulls are going to Niigata with me? I arrived at Niigata Port after walking around the ship and looking at the sea. I got off the bus at Bandai City and headed for this. Curry at the bus center. This is the line at lunchtime on a weekday. This is a very popular curry that has been featured on TV and in magazines many times. It’s spicy and addictive despite its appearance, and it’s quite filling, so I’ll have a mini curry. I’m full. I walked leisurely to Niigata Station. The last place I went to was “Ponshukan” in Niigata Station. It’s a shop where you can buy souvenirs and specialties from Niigata, but at this Niigata Station store you can enjoy tasting sake. There are more than 100 types of sake in stock at all times. “Kazan” by DHC Sake Brewery. It was my favorite sake out of all the ones I tried this time. It was fruity and refreshingly easy to drink. Recently, Kirinzan is often seen in Tokyo stores. If you are having trouble choosing because the lineup is too large, you can choose from the rankings. There are also many Sado sakes, so please try them. I enjoyed Niigata to the fullest this time. I bought some sasa dango (recommended) from Tanakaya Honten as a souvenir before returning to Tokyo.
