【欧州1ヶ月周遊#13】青の街シャウエンへCTMバスで移動|革工房の見学も!眺めのいいお勧めホテル|モロッコ50代ひとり旅
Hello, this is Inomata from Neige. This is a channel where I post travel and daily vlogs. The video I’m introducing today is the blue city of Chefchaouen. This is my third visit to Morocco, and this blue city is a bit unique as there are quite a few popular spots that appear on the covers of magazines and travel publications.I’ll be introducing it all to you in this video, so I hope you enjoy it.On this trip to Morocco, I traveled from Marrakech to Fes by train, but this time in Chefchaouen, the only means of transportation is by bus, so it will be about a four and a half hour bus ride from Fes to Chefchaouen. This time, I happened to meet three Japanese people. Each was traveling alone, one man and two women.I never thought I’d meet Japanese people in a foreign land, so I felt really relieved and happy. By the way, the bus I took this time is a Moroccan long-distance bus called CTM. There seem to be other bus companies, but I think this is probably the most popular. As for how to buy tickets, I bought them online because I didn’t know the time when I was there. I couldn’t use my Rakuten Visa card this time, but I was able to use my Sony Bank card, which is a debit card that allows instant payment. I recommend Sony cards because they have low fees even when paying overseas. I have introduced explanations about cards in other videos, so please take a look at those if you are interested. This route from Fez to Chefchaouen is quite popular, so I heard that it will be sold out if you don’t get there early, but I was fine even if I got there about two days before, so if you are worried, it’s better to get there early, but in reality, the bus was full. Also, when you check in your luggage, you will be charged separately for luggage that cannot be carried on the bus, so you show your ticket and they ask you if you have luggage, so you pay at that time. I think it was 5 dirhams. By the way, you can reserve a seat when you make a reservation, but you shouldn’t rely on it too much. I thought it was quite long, and I was also worried about the toilet, but there was a 30-minute break on the way, probably around lunchtime. It was like a roadside station by car, but there was a place to take a toilet break and eat lunch. It’s a toilet, but there is a woman standing at the entrance, so you can give her a tip here. I think it’s probably 2 dirhams. So it’s a good idea to have some cash ready. And the fare for the bus to Fes Chefchaouen this time is 1735 yen in Japanese yen, so I think it’s quite a good deal to ride for 4 and a half hours and only pay 2000 yen. Chefchaouen is really a blue city, and the buildings are a unified color, and it has a different weight from the old town of Fes. This time I stayed in a hotel, not a riad, but it was a place with a good view, so I recommend it. There are plenty of room tours, so I’ll put a link in the description, so if you like, please use it as a reference for your trip. If you want to go to popular spots, I recommend walking around in the morning. This time in Chefchaouen, I walked around and also visited a leather craftsman’s workshop. Now, please enjoy the rest of your trip . We arrived safely in Chefchaouen. Blue city Wow, what a nice view. It’s a hotel terrace, but they said they upgraded me to a nice room for the same price . So this is the room. The view from the room hasn’t entered the room yet, but I’m so happy. But I think I’ll be satisfied with this view. It’s nice . That’s the Spanish Mosque. They said it’s about a 20-minute walk there . It will probably take me about 30 minutes on my feet, but I’ll go. I can’t get the key, but I go into the room. Blue room. The room is spacious. If I open this, I can see the room from before. The view from before. Wow, nice view. Wow, what’s going on in this room? This is the balcony . This is the balcony. Is the bedroom here? Oh, this is the bedroom. Oh, wait, the electricity. How do you turn the electricity on? The electricity doesn’t work? Is there no electricity? No way, there’s no light. I plug this in and the electricity comes on . It’s cold in the morning and evening, so it’s nice to have a blanket. I open the curtains. Nice view. This room key is cute . I’d like to take a room tour right away. I asked for a city view room, but they upgraded me for free. Apparently this is a suite. It’s really spacious and nice. I only stayed for two nights, but this room is so spacious . I didn’t stay in a riad in Chefchaouen, but I think I made the right choice by staying in a hotel. It’s on a hill with a nice view, so I stayed in a hotel. I think it was 20,000 yen for two nights, about 10,000 yen per night, so I think it wasn’t that expensive . If the euro wasn’t weaker, it might be a little cheaper. It has a terrace and a great view, and the first thing you can see in the distance is the Spanish mosque. I wonder if this is a place that everyone goes to see . It’s often featured in guidebooks as a place with a great view. You can see a good view here without going there, but I think I’ll go later. Next door is the bedroom . I just turned on the light. It’s more than enough for one person, it’s so spacious that it’s a shame. The view is also nice from here . I’m happy. This side is connected to the terrace. There’s a closet, so I wonder if it’s cold. They put blankets in it. This side is the washroom. It was connected to the living room. The washroom mirror. I don’t think there are any amenities, just soap. This is the toilet. The toilet looks like this. The toilet and shower are almost one and the same, I wonder if this is a curtain. It ‘s separated by a curtain, but I think it’ll probably get wet. But what about the toilet? Can it be flushed? Mirrored. There’s a window here too. Cute. It’s a bit backlit, but you can see the view. A keyhole-like window. Cute. I ‘m glad I chose this hotel . I left the room wide open, but if I go to the terrace like this, the view is amazing. Wow, amazing. They said the room was on the third floor, but I guess it would be the fourth floor overseas. It was the top floor. Amazing view, and the weather is nice too. I was hesitant, but I’m glad I came. I want to go exploring right away. I’m hungry. The other side looks like this. I feel like I don’t have to move from the hotel. It’s a nice view. I had mint tea as a welcome drink. Mint tea is really delicious. I’ve been drinking this ever since I came here. But I add sugar. It’s delicious even without it, but sugar helps relieve my fatigue. I think I’ll take it easy for a bit. I’ll leave the hotel and do some sightseeing. I’m going to the Spanish Mosque now. The bus was 4 and a half hours, so I was a bit tired and rested in my room. It was a short taxi ride from the bus stop, but it was good that I could get there by taxi. It was exactly 20DH, I didn’t negotiate the price, I just handed it over and they took it, so that was good. They said it was about a 20-minute walk from the hotel where we were parked, but we had to climb a really steep hill. It’s pretty tough, I’ll try my best to head thereI wonder if it’s the highest point, it’s kind of interesting. Where are we heading to? Is it the entrance? The door is pretty painfulThe bus ride was 4 and a half hours, but I watched a movie and it went by in a flash, but I think the movie gave me a headache. It’s painful, maybe just a little longer. I’ll try my best to walk, and then I thought I heard the sound of water, and then I saw a river flowing, it was kind of soothing, a really nice view. We’re still halfway, but it’s a really nice view. We’ve arrived. Everyone is sitting down. Here , wow, what a beautiful viewThere ‘s more aheadThere’s a restaurant in the distance, amazingCan you see the hotel I’m staying at the bottom right hereThis is the hotel. A really nice view If you come here, the view is even better. It’s a beautiful townscape. Chefchaouen is famous for its blue townscape, but it seems they don’t know yet why it became blue. But it’s close to Europe, close to Spain, so they changed the buildings to European towns and made it into a tourist destination. The guide yesterday said that Morocco is a country that depends on tourism, so there is little crime. This townscape is also beautiful, but the mountains, this is a mountain range, I think it’s the Atlas Mountains . I just came down and entered the town, and there are a lot of souvenir shops lined up at the entrance. It’s cute. Where is this going? I want to buy souvenirs, but they’re all bulky. I hope I can find something nice, like a Moroccan basket bag or a hat. This is the last tourist spot in Morocco. There’s some kind of gate. Is this where you enter? It’s nice, the display is cute . I’m hungry. There are a lot of souvenir shops. The road is bumpy, so I’m glad I can’t walk with my suitcase . Wow, this place is also very nice . Let’s go for a bit. Wow, it’s amazing. If you turn to the right, there’s a cute window, and if you turn to the left, there’s another cute door, and I can’t take my eyes off it . It’s so cute. Just this is picturesque . There are really a lot of cats. But this one is still on the big side. There are so many baby cats and also many dogs They are kept apart Where are you from? It’s Chiba Oh, Chiba I understand I’m from Saitama Oh, you were in Saitama? Yes. Yes. That’s right, I’m quite used to that job. I’m not Japanese, but I met a Moroccan who speaks Japanese and he recommended a restaurant, so I’m going to try it. On Fridays, Muslims close the shops, so I thought this area would be closed, but it seems there are some shops open. I came to a really cute square-like place, and it turns out that this is a place with a lot of restaurants . I spent quite a bit of time moving around and sightseeing today . It’s 10 o’clock tonight. The roads were pretty well lit, which was helpful, but I’ve been traveling for another day and I’m pretty tired, but the streets of Chefeng look like this. I came back to the hotel There ‘s a convenience store-like supermarket right in front of me, so it’s very convenient They’re open until late and you can buy water and things like that. The view from here was good and the location was good. I walked back, but it was about 10 minutes. It wasn’t that far Tomorrow I’ll go to Chefchaouen for another day of sightseeing, and then head to Tangier. So this is my last day in Morocco , and I think tomorrow will be my last day, so I’ll enjoy it . Finally, we have reached the last place. Good night. Good morning. I left a little early in the morning because there are fewer people and I can take pictures. It’s 7:30 this morning. I’m planning to spend today at the hotel, so I’m only active in the morning. It’s still before breakfast , but I was surprised to see a dog. I’m not very good with animals , so the dog didn’t attack me, but I was a little scared. Is this one here? But it’s suddenly cute. Or this one? The cityscape is really cute. Stylish. I’m heading to the popular bucket spot now. I’ll take a picture here on my way back. If more people come, it will be difficult to take pictures again, but this place is already stylish, but for now I’ll go to the place where there are colorful buckets. The roads here are also complicated, so I’m afraid I’ll get lost. Hello, good morning. Hello. I can see the waterfall. Nice. There are no people, so I can speak to people in Japanese, but yesterday I was also spoken to by someone who seemed to be a Japanese agency and was about to start a business. There are many people who speak Japanese fluently and well . Also, I think I’ve met a lot more Japanese people since I came here . I didn’t meet them, but I heard Japanese voices. I’m heading to my destination. I’ll enjoy the road while taking pictures for a while. There are so many cats . Yesterday, there were a lot of shops lined up. It’s so quiet. All the shops here. I’ve come to the place where the square from yesterday appears. Cute paintings on the wall. I think the next stop is a riad. I’m aiming for a place that is said to be a good spot for cat photos. I wonder if the buckets have been removed, but there are no cute ones. It’s a place in the surrounding area. It’s cute, though. Still, there are plenty of big dogs that are kept free-ranging. It’s scary. Also, the ground is dirty, and if you’re not careful, you’ll step on them. I think I’ll go back to the hotel. I walked quite a bit. I’ll come up this way . I arrived . I walked for about an hour. I’m tired. Let’s eat. I walked for an hour since morning, so I’m hungry . I chose a seat with a good view. It’s like a terrace. I want to drink coffee . It comes with an omelette. I’m happy. I’m hungry. Thank you for the meal. I’ve come up to the terrace. It’s cafe time. I’m planning to spend the whole day here. I think I’ll go shopping in the evening. The shop seems to be open until about 10pm , so I think I can still relax. I’ve been walking around for a while, so I’ll take a short break. They said they’ll show me the factory. I’m happy. It’s nice to talk about the sewing machines . Oh, this is it. Ah, SEIKO . Yes. Japanese . Wow, very good. Wow. Yes. Wow, amazing. Strong . It can easily fit three layers of hot fabric. Yes. Amazing. Yes. It’s only one layer . They took me to the factory. Amazing . Really , amazing. Just right. Just right. Yes. Amazing. The view is nice too. Nice time . Wow. Yes. Amazing. It’s amazing. They’re craftsmen . Wow. Very steep. Stairs. Come on. I was shown. Yes. Ah. Can it be used as a bag ? Yes. Yes, a bag. Oh, nice. Magic bag. Magic bag. Yes. Really. Amazing. I’m going to go shopping because I’m here . Everything is handmade. I’m really impressed. I was guided inside. Let’s go this way . Press machine. Semira from overseas is interesting. Oh, I see. It’s really square. You have to break it. I came back to the hotel and went shopping. I heard it’s handmade by craftsmen. I was shown the workshop, so I thought I didn’t want to hold it anymore, so I just went shopping. But this is 100 dirhams, 1500 yen. I think this is 120, about 1800 yen, so even if you put two together it’s not that expensive and I think it was a good purchase. I’m glad I was shown where the sewing machine is . He was a really nice guy. I just went out for a little change of pace, but I was tired because I was able to shop unexpectedly, so I came back a little. I’m going to start editing, so I can’t drink beer , so I’ll have a coke, this is 5 dirhams, so 50 or 75 yen. I was really interested in this. This is 1 dirham, so 15 yen. I see Rais everywhere, but this is good quality, so it was 6 dirhams. It’s 6 dirhams, so how much would it be? I wonder if it would be about 80 yen? I heard it’s more expensive than a Coke, but it’s still cheap. I’ll take a look at the view and do some editing before dinner. Today was really fun, I also did some shopping. This is the evening view of Chefchaouen. I ended up relaxing in my room . The evening view is so beautiful. It’s after sunset. It’s 8:45 tonight. The sun is slowly setting and the lights are coming up. It was lovely . What did you think? I was worried at first, but I enjoyed my stay in the blue city and luxurious hotel. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Morocco, but the next video will be the last one. Please look forward to the next video. Next time, we will head from Chefchaouen to the city of Tangier.
