NAPUŠTAM BEOGRAD, ODLAZIM IZ SRBIJE

10 days of motorcycle tour are ahead of me. I am going to Austria from Serbia via Hungary. After my stay in Vienna, I will visit Graz, stay in Maribor and Bela Krajina, drive around Slovenia and then descend from the Alps to Dalmatia – Destinations: Zadar, Turanj, Biograd na moru, Split. That’s why the motorcycle tour is called Alpe Adria and you are watching the first episode of the series: I’m leaving Belgrade, I’m leaving Serbia Good day, good people. I’m starting a new motorcycle tour. The first stage is Belgrade – Vienna , and the plan is to go via Kelebija, then through Hungary, on the highway all the way to Djerba, and then on the highway to the capital of Austria. I am located in Knez Mihajlova street in the center of Belgrade. The engine is in the garage, loaded, new tires mounted , things are packed, gear is ready, and I can’t wait to get out on the open road. See how Belgrade looks this morning. The city is slowly waking up. Today I will cover 580 km with the following days being a lot of driving and interesting events along the way. Soon I go to the garage, start the engine and sit down. I always love that feeling when I leave the city. Engine, adventure and that’s it. Chika Story editor of the show. Unique design and being different on a motorcycle is considered a luxury in the motorcycle world. With the Milo Moto gear company, you can achieve that luxury at affordable prices. Production of custom-made motorcycle equipment. Contact Instagram, Facebook, TikTok I am moving the heart of Serbia, from Belgrade I am going to the heart of Europe. Vienna will be my base for the next few days. I invited Milan from Maribor, Eduardo from Prague and a few other old friends to join me, and I hope to meet many more bikers. We will film, travel and tell stories that unite the bikers of the Balkans and Europe. Here I am at Autokomanda. As you can see it is always crowded. Cars, buses, change lanes, from left to right, from right to left. Here I passed the Autokomanda. I’m out on the highway. It’s time to get into the rhythm of driving. Nothing can replace that feeling when I can finally let the engine breathe. I drive through Novi Beograd and there are still traffic jams. Here are some works on the road, I hope there will be no delays until the border. Here the road continues to Zagreb and I turn right to Novi Sad. Belgrade saw me off in its own way, through the crowd and noise. While I was weaving between vehicles, I had the feeling that this city is always testing my patience and will. But maybe there is a lesson in those setbacks, because the journey doesn’t begin when you leave the garage. The journey begins when you decide to go regardless of the obstacles. Every red traffic light is a reminder that you have to stop first so that you can really start later. Maybe because of that crowd, every kilometer of freedom after that is worth twice as much and everything that awaits me is much quieter than this one and much freer. The crowd remains behind me like a dream that I no longer try to understand. Just the engine, the wind and the road ahead. That’s the moment I drive for, Not for the goal, not for the destination, but for this, the first breath of freedom – when the city disappears in the rearview mirror. The asphalt becomes the rhythm of my pulse. Every kilometer erases my thoughts as if the wind carries them behind me. And me, I return to myself because every tour, no matter how short or long it is, is actually a journey inward. Belgrade saw me off, but the real road is just beginning. This is not just a ride, this is a journey to friendship, freedom and peace that only a motorcycle can bring. Here I am on a break at Eco pump Žednik, I drove 180 km from Belgrade and I think it’s the right time to stretch my legs a bit. The journey so far has been great. The traffic is moderate and the time is on my side. Although it is a bit chilly, it is important that it is sunny. These breaks are part of the motorcycle journey that give me the opportunity to look back on the journey so far. The engine runs great, the tires hold up well, everything goes as it should. This pump is a great place to rest, it has everything you need to eat and drink… Although I always take food and drinks with me. When traveling, I always choose gas stations that have a nice space, so that I can enjoy the break and not just fill up with fuel. I continue towards Kelebia. Another 30 km to the border. Next is Hungary. I’m entering the second part of the motorcycle tour and now a real motorcycle adventure follows on the main roads. The highway in Subotica is quite empty, which is always good news when going on a long drive. I kept a steady speed of about 130 km/h. Fast enough not to slow down the flow of traffic but slow enough not to tire myself and the engine. I slowed down a bit because on this part they often know how to be radars and the fines in front of the border are not what I need at the beginning of the tour. A few more kilometers and I arrive at the Kelebija Tompa border crossing, which is one of the most frequent crossings to Hungary. I am wondering how long the procedure will take. I hope it’s not too crowded, but you never know until you come. Fortunately, there are not many vehicles today. I should quickly switch to the Hungarian side. First Serbian control, passport, smile and I hope I finish quickly. The Hungarian side can be a bit more detailed. Sometimes they ask me to open my suitcase or ask where I’m going. Standard procedure. Good day To Austria, to Vienna. Why? I’m going for four or five days, then I go down to Slovenia and then to Croatia. Okay. Nice weather started. The Hungarian policewoman questioned me as if I were at school. But what is there. Thank you, thank you very much. Pleasant And that’s it. I am officially in Hungary. “Juno Horsed”. Crossing the border went without a problem. Time to continue to Kiškunhalas. The main road through the Hungarian villages starts from here. I love this part of the road because it feels completely different than the highway. Hungary is as flat as the palm of your hand, but it has that special flavor. Local roads, good infrastructure and always somewhere new to discover. After entering Hungary, I immediately notice the difference. The roads are a bit narrower but the asphalt is good. Time is on my side. It’s sunny, which means I can enjoy the ride without worrying about the rain. The first few kilometers through villages are typical for this part of Hungary. Plains, fields and some houses with red roofs. I arrive in Kiškunhals, a small town known for cattle breeding and wine, but it is important for me to have a good direction to continue driving here. The streets are quiet, typical of Hungarian provincial towns. There is no crowd, but therefore you should pay attention to the speed limits. It is interesting how everyone here is disciplined in driving. Even on empty streets, hardly anyone exceeds the speed limit. Now I’m out of the populated areas and heading for the open roads. Here you can drive a little more freely. I pass by a beautiful lake. The roads are really good. Hungarian highways are generally flat and clear, which allows for stable and safe driving. The approach is typical for this area, endless plains, a few rows of trees by the side of the road and peace that makes you enjoy the drive. As I drive further, I notice how the landscape slowly changes tones from neat fields to settlements that seem to tell their own story. Yellow-green shades are visible on all sides, which makes the ride visually appealing. The weather is still stable, the sun is gently warming, and the wind in my helmet reminds me of the freedom that only motorcycle riding can provide. Everything is easy, every kilometer brings a new dose of adrenaline. Here I encountered a traffic accident. Competent authorities are already on the ground Traffic is slowing down. I pass carefully by the scene of the accident. This is a reminder for all of us who are on the road. Caution, concentration and distance are the most important, especially on such long drives. For us bikers, situations like this are an additional alarm. There is no sheet metal on the engine to protect us. So be careful. I hope that everyone is safe from this accident and that there will be no serious consequences. I move on, slow down and drive cautiously for a while longer. After such scenes, one always stops a little bit on the ball. Here I am entering Solt, a small Hungarian town that slowly announces that I am approaching the Danube. This section is flat, wide, a real respite from the city crowds that I left behind . I come across the first bridge. This steel arch bridge is older and has an industrial charm. A railway line crosses it and it is always a sight when a train comes over the river at the same time. The bridge is robust with lattice arches and a view that extends to the left and right along the river. Immediately after, I arrive at the second bridge. This one is road, more modern with massive pillars and a wider roadway. Ideal for motorbikes. Crossing this bridge is always a special moment for me on the road. A feeling of vastness, the river below and the horizon far ahead. These two bridges are like a gate between two regions of Hungary. I’m practically entering central Hungary. The Danube is sown. The city of Dunafeldvar can be seen in front. The bridge remains behind me. Such scenes cannot be boring. I entered Dunafeldvar. Dunafeldvar is halfway to Vienna. It’s an ideal place to take a break and stretch my legs as well as grab a bite to eat, which means a lot trips. I stop in the city center. Here I am in Dunafeldvar. A break halfway between Belgrade and Vienna. Just to rest a bit before continuing the ride. so far, the trip has been great. Hungarian highways are calm and straight. The traffic is not too heavy. This place is my favorite break point because it is peaceful and beautiful. So far I have covered about 305 km, the weather is still stable. It’s sunny, there’s a slight wind, but it’s not terrible. I hope that the weather will remain like this until the end of my trip today, that is, until I arrive in Vienna. Look at this scene, Dunafeldvar is a really peaceful and beautiful place on the banks of the Danube. This is the last break before Vienna and the point where I mentally transition into the second half of the trip. Now the goal is to reach the destination. About 145 km more and I enter the highway to Vienna. It’s a slightly faster ride from here. I brought some biscuits from Serbia, a bottle of water. I’ll have a sandwich later. Kesman called me a while ago and we talked. I can’t wait to see him. We haven’t met in a long time. He almost didn’t come to Serbia. The last time I was in Vienna was sometime in the second half of June, when I went to Munich, and then to Corsica and Sardinia. I thought I’d go back to a cafe, but there wasn’t a garden open anywhere, so I stopped here for a bit in the sun. I’m moving forward in two minutes. The engine works great. Here are the new Michelin Road 6 GT tires. It was installed two or three days before this trip. Everything is there, everything is so close. Five minutes have passed and I continue driving. The Dunafeldvar break is behind me. After freshening up, I’m ready for the remainder of today’s ride. The next stage takes me past the towns of Dunajvaros, Sekesfehervar and Đer. Before me is one of the most beautiful drives through the heart of Hungary. Wide plains, wheat fields and villages scattered along the road. There is no highway here, but it is a highway of excellent quality. The asphalt is flat with slight curves that please the engine. As you can see, the traffic is moderate. Mostly locals, a couple of trucks. Just to keep a good driving rhythm. I drive at a moderate pace. between 80-100km/h. It’s enough to enjoy, and the kilometers go by beautifully. Now the road bends slightly to the northwest, and I take the direction to Győr, one of the most beautiful baroque cities in Hungary, also known as the city of rivers, because it is crossed by as many as five rivers. This section from Székesfehérvár to Djerba is a real delight. Faster, more open, and near the end I exit the highway that will quickly bring me to the border. Although the road so far has been calm and full of interesting details, now it’s time to start the engine on the highway and pick up the pace a bit. There are no more villages and peaceful landscapes. Driving is faster, traffic is denser and the focus is maximum. This is one of those moments when you realize how much freedom a motorcycle gives. Just you, the asphalt and the direction to Vienna. The kilometers are flying by now. As a rule, I do not enter Austria at the large Nikkelsdorf border crossing, but at the smaller one located right next to the highway. The Schengen zone means that there are no more classic customs and passport checks, but the Austrian police still perform “face control”. So they are looking at who is entering the country. At this smaller crossing, there are none, so I continue towards the first gas station where I will stop. After 500 km, I arrived in Austria from Belgrade. I just crossed the border and stopped at the first pump. The thing I have to do here is buy a vignette. In addition to the classic sticker, a digital vignette can be purchased. The points of sale are at the pump, in the container and at the vending machine. I will buy a digital one on the machine because I don’t like to stick anything on the engine. There are one-day, ten-day, two-month and annual vignettes. You choose the duration yourself. I take ten days. And now let’s see how the process of buying a vignette at the machine looks like. Confirm, 4.90 eur. The price of the vignette is EUR 4.90. It’s not much, but it’s better than a fine, because there’s no forgiveness here if you’re caught smuggling. Another 75 km and I reach my destination. I will call Kecman to announce to him that I will be coming in 45-50 minutes. Here, I entered Austria. Where should we meet? I’m sending, Perfektastrase 3. I’m sending you the location. It’s valid, come on, bye, bye. After crossing the border, the difference is immediately visible. Austrian roads are impeccable and drivers are much more disciplined. Now it’s time to adapt to their driving style. What what I love here is that all the roads are super marked so there’s no chance of getting lost somewhere. Direction Vienna and no stops. I will soon arrive in the capital of Austria. Now everything is a matter of routine. I keep the pace and enjoy the last kilometers of this route. The first sign that I got closer to Vienna was this OMW refinery. And here, after 580 km, I reached the first destination of this great motorcycle adventure. Now I will continue slowly to my destination. This is just the beginning of the journey, but I already know that this will be an unforgettable tour. The first thing I notice is the incredible organization of traffic. Everything is arranged. Cyclists have their own paths, drivers are patient and motorcyclists respect the rules. What I love about Vienna is that it is spacious but not too hectic. There is no rampage, everything flows with a calm rhythm of its own. I arrive at 23.bicir where Kecman is waiting for me. And after 9 and a half months… where can I park? Here sir, reserved for you. Thanks, So what are you doing, man, we haven’t seen each other in 100 years, Are you okay? Here’s a good one. How did you do? Excellent. Everything ok. 16°. Fine. Great, great. Was it a little crowded? Well it’s not, well Where’s your Ducati? My Ducati, there it is in the garage, waiting What is it waiting for? May Day? It’s waiting for you. And is he waiting for me? He is waiting for you to go. You didn’t turn it on? Well , I was what I was when I arrived a little. You drove more often in the winter last year, right? I am. Let’s see what is being prepared here? We’re making some kebabs for Boki. You are a real master. Well, 100% beef. So let’s try it, let’s see how Kecma prepared it. They are excellent. I am very happy with today’s route. Everything went well. It wasn’t very cold. Tomorrow I’m going to drive around Vienna. I will record some motorcycle vlog. It will be very interesting. After a whole day on the motorcycle, it is a real relief to park and rest a little. Now it’s time to go to the apartment, take a break and then make a plan for the future . It’s already slowly getting dark. The plan is to take the motorcycle to Kecman’s yard. Here I arrived at Kecman’s in the street. I’m here at his house. On the left is Vienna and on the right is the province of Lower Austria, so this street is the border between Vienna and the said province. Hello. It’s a neighbor. Good evening Hello, I’m Chika Story. I know, I’m looking at you. Is that so? And how do you feel? So nice. Interesting It’s nice It’s nice that you show everything. Yes. All the best. 4.

    Svako dobro u nastavku ture!

  8. Pozdrav Bojane.

Svako dobro stari 🖐
