Mashikokan Satoyama Resort Hotel This time, we will be visiting a quiet hot spring inn surrounded by the mountains of Tochigi Prefecture, about 30 minutes by car from Moka Interchange or 5 minutes by taxi from Mashiko Station by train . Hello Tesutoku Travel. Today’s inn seems to have a sauna where you can take a hot spring bath or sleep while looking at a waterfall. This is my first experience, so I’m really looking forward to it. I had the impression that it was a bit far away, but it takes about 90 minutes from Tokyo by car. As I was driving around without any traffic jams, I came across this inn.The parking lot was free and spacious, and it was very easy to park.Let ‘s check in right away.When I entered, I saw a modern and stylish space.It seemed like there were few customers, so check-in went smoothly.When heading to the room, use the elevator here. It’s a little exciting. After picking up a yukata of your choice at the end of the elevator, let’s head straight to our room. Our room is room 406 on the 4th floor, and the one we’ll be staying in this time is a standard Japanese-style room. Let’s go. Open the door. The entrance is compact. The shoe compartment is very large, so even if you’re wearing long boots, you can fit in with peace of mind. Enter through the entrance, and this is the sink . Paper, cups, and hand soap are also included.When you open the back door, you’ll see that the bathroom is very shiny and clean.Of course, it comes with a washlet , so you can use it with peace of mind.Next to the entrance , there’s a Tefal pot, a shiny glass, and toothpicks and wire cutters , so you can enjoy alcohol in your room.The refrigerator is compact, and there’s nothing in it, so it’s already freezing cold.This is what the main room looks like! It’s not a very big room, it’s a really big room.The futon is the type that is pulled out first.The futon is soft and fluffy, and the pillows are soft.The mattress is also elastic, so it doesn’t seem like it will hurt your lower back.The desk looks like this.It’s a really nice and clean plate, and there are Nikko rice crackers as a tea companion.It ‘s a tea set.It comes with a tea bag, so you can easily enjoy green tea. This teacup already looks very clean and stylish.It has a lot of water, so you can rehydrate yourself after taking a bath.Also , there is a towel for hospitality.There is a TV here.There is a TV that looks like an old computer . There ‘s a cute retro phone sitting on a small cushion in the back.Wi -Fi is also available for free.There ‘s a large safe, but it’s the type that people don’t get into, so you might never use it.When you open it, it’s hard ! ! This is the ryokan zone.The black carpet gives it a chic feel.The desks and chairs are wooden, which is unusual.It ‘s a chic and modern ryokan zone with a very stylish feel.There ‘s also a towel dryer that you always see.At the back of the ryokan zone is a closet.The closet is also pretty big.The coat you wear on top is really thick.This looks warm.It ‘s a different color, like Chanchanko.It ‘s made of fleece material , so it looks really warm.It’s the first time I’ve seen this.It ‘s a scented spray.It’s a fabric mist. There is a good “back scratch” function.If your back is itchy, you can do it without asking anyone.It ‘s okay even if you and your husband are fighting.The bath towels are thick and have one each.The water supply is excellent.A bath bag is included for each person.Inside is a thin hot spring towel and a toothbrush. After relaxing in your room for a while, let’s go explore the building . First, let’s take a look at the coin laundry and ice machine corner on the fourth floor. Inside, there is a microwave that can be used for free, and an ice machine that can be used for 100 yen (though it costs 100 yen). There are two washing machines and a dryer, so you don’t have to worry if you’re staying for a long time.There’s also a vending machine on the third floor.The large beer is 450 yen, and the small one is 350 yen, so it’s a safe price.The soft drink vending machine has a wide variety and isn’t expensive, so you can use it with confidence.Go to the front desk on the 1st floor. I came back. There is a Mashiko Cafe here , where you can drink morning coffee for free. Across the street, there is a stylish shop that you can take a look at. They also sell steamed buns, strawberry sweets, and Nikko Rusk. They also sell local sake, which is made in a corner of the room. Apparently, you can also rent out table tennis sets for free.There was a hot spring in the back.The area around the hot spring was decorated with colorful pictures , and it was fun to look at.And then, when we went further into the back… there was a fitness gym.Guests can also use it for 1,100 yen , so after working up a sweat, you can use it for free. It might be nice to refresh yourself in the hot springs. There is also a glamping area outside, and a karaoke room, so it might be nice to sing and refresh yourself. Now that you’ve seen the inside of the hotel, let’s go straight into the hot springs you’ve been waiting for . The large communal bath is spacious, with amenities such as shampoo and conditioner. Just looking at the hot springs flowing from a large Mashiko -yaki teapot made me feel relieved.I could see a large waterfall from the open-air bath , which was truly spectacular.This hot spring , which can be enjoyed without adding water, is said to be a beautifying hot spring, and my skin felt silky smooth after taking a bath.Enjoying the hot spring while being soothed by the sound of the waterfall is the best. As the name suggests , the sauna has a high temperature that you can use while lying down , and you can do things like self-lowering, so I was able to work up a sweat while relaxing.There was ice service in the large bath , and you could hear the sound of a waterfall in the well-equipped space , so it was a must-see for sauna lovers.The changing room had toiletries such as lotion as well as a free massage machine, so I was able to relax from the core.It was my first experience in a sauna where I could sleep. However, it felt really good, so if you like saunas , you should definitely go. After soaking in the sauna, I ‘m getting hungry, so let’s head to dinner . We ‘ll have dinner here . But I’m getting excited.The aperitif is strawberry sake.The sashimi is an assortment of three kinds of seasonal ingredients, and the colors are beautiful.This is flavor-grilled Nasunogahara beef, and I’m looking forward to the finished product.The hotpot is salmon and scallops in a white miso butter hotpot, so you can enjoy both fish and meat.First , let’s toast with the aperitif.The aroma of strawberries spreads softly, It was sweet and delicious.We had a set of 3 types of sake to compare.You can choose 3 of the 8 types of local sake.I was surprised that it also came with snacks.It seems that Tesutoku chose a bottled beer.Let ‘s toast right away.The appetizers go well with the alcohol, and the sakura tofu has a soft scent of cherry blossoms . After taking a bath and warming up, let’s head out for breakfast. Breakfast will be served at the same venue as yesterday. Breakfast looks delicious with a wide variety of tofu, the classic hot spring egg konjac , and bikurus ohitashi . The contents are served with hot vegetables and sesame sauce.You can eat lots of healthy foods such as konjac and vegetables, so you’ll be happy in the morning.Since there are many rice dishes , you won’t be able to stop your appetite.It ‘s nice to be able to eat hot spring eggs in the morning . I ended up having a lot of second helpings of rice, like pouring it over rice and eating it with egg.The fish was packed full of meat and had a lot of flavor, and it was delicious.The miso soup was also full of toppings, so it warmed my stomach.The warm vegetables seemed to have been completed, with pumpkin, fish cakes , and yuba. This is a shrine named after the white snake , and there was a guardian snake who was not a guardian dog.It is said to be a power spot to improve your financial luck , so it might be perfect for this year of the snake.There is also a coin washing waterfall at the back of the shrine , and it was quite fun washing money using a long stick.It ‘s a little far from the hotel, but if you’re interested, please come and visit it.The last place I came to was Moka Station , which is located near the station. It is in the form of a steam locomotive . Of course, there is also a real steam locomotive, so there are events where you can blow the whistle and you can play inside the steam locomotive , so it was a lot of fun.
