Tuesday Night in Tokyo’s Hidden Nightlife Scene

I see you. Thank you. And All right. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s what you get. All right. Hello everyone and welcome back to another live stream from Tokyo. So as you see tonight we are in Oano. Let me see the chat. Hello Bobby. Hello Aries. Hello Ray. Hello Alen. And hello Dr. Prancer. Hello Paul. Hello Brian. Um, hello MP. Who else is there? I didn’t say hi. All right, guys. We are in Otano Mizu, Tokyo’s student town, and we going to explore the whole area tonight. And let me show you the mizo river side. This here is under construction. The other side is very beautiful. I’m going to show you. Usually comes out from as this background for a lot of movie and anime. You can see a few trains passing on top of each other. Oh, I couldn’t make it to the traffic light. We have to wait. As you see, a lot of young people are passing because there are some there are some important universities in this town. So, I’m going to explain what else is popular in this town. I’m going to actually explain also a little about history and we’re going to check the whole area, but I’m going to start from the river side. So, I’m going to show you the river if you can get a good Well, it’s dark now anyway, but when the train passes, I think we can get a good view. All right, we are in Oanomizo area in Chioda Ward in Tokyo. And let me see. I’m in Phoenix. Hello J. Hello everyone. Hello. Hello Phil Arnold from Texas. Oh yes. Send one explore Japan live gift membership. Thank you. And Mu Gen receive the gift. Okay, let’s explore the student town. All right. Let me show you the view of the river. If you can see that it’s dark now. Let’s see. So, we got a bit rain earlier. About an hour earlier, we got a bit rain actually. And now it’s humid. But I think the rain actually helped to cool down the weather a little. But city is humid. So this area is actually with the little river is a popular spot for photo shoot. But I think is the other side of the station is more beautiful. We’re going to go and check the other side, too. Anyway, let’s go and walk in the area and I’m going to explain about autonomy. Sky game.
Yeah. I have to actually open up the camera’s screen. to prevent from picking up the spots. This camera is super good, but the only issue was it doesn’t have a fan, internal fan like Sony. This one is Sony Alpha S3. Doesn’t have fan. So sometime it gets heating issue. All right, let’s check the area. I’m so nice. That’s you. You are nothing. Oh,
I’m so lucky. Every time I go everywhere, I find my favorite restaurant. And this is also another branch of my favorite restaurant in Oano. Look at the fish lineup. So, they have all type of real fish and it’s so good. My favorite fish restaurant in Tokyo. They have chain everywhere and the price is reasonable and it’s really good. This one is autonomy branch. All right, let’s explain about Mizu a little. So where actually autonomizo is located in Tokyo? So Autonomizo first of all is in Chioda ward. Chiod ward is the same word office. Same ward that Akivara Akiara is located. So is the next station to Aki. Actually very close between Akiara and Shinjuku. And yeah,
it’s not a big night life like Shibuya or it’s a hidden area. It has its own unique night life. I’m going to explain how. But it’s cool. So if Tokyo was a a school, Mizu would be the smartest student in the school. It’s a smart quiet student but very like I said very smart. This is Ramen Hidakaya another chain restaurant also they have mostly Chinese food but like a Chinese Japanese food also is very reasonable. And so in terms of history, first of all, u miso in Japanese the word means uh tea water. Oo means tea. Miso means water means tea water. And why is that? Because I heard that uh long time ago Shogun Tukugawa found a clean tasty water here that actually they use it for making tea and the taste was really good. So this why they call the town wasn’t the town that they name it was only that that river that little river little area or village they called it Oano Mizo tea water. So that’s the history of this town. So was discovered by a samurai. Just imagine a samurai found just a random like a river and they tried to say this this water is good to make tea. Let’s make a tea and then they just named it. So the after actually the earthquake I think it was 1923 the area was really damaged and everything was made of wood burned out and then so everything is mostly new in this town. So this is a side view of a music station. others. Let’s go check. So like I said earlier, Autonomiz is very famous for being a student town because there are a few big universities in Tokyo located in just nearby this area. One of them is major university and then the other one is Tokyo medical and dental university and there is another university Junendo Junendo University. Yeah. So there are at least three big universities nearby this area. This why a lot of you young people and students hang out in this town. It’s a student town. Also, it’s famous as music town because there are many music shops in this area as well. So, maybe I’m going to check maybe I check some of them later. Let’s see. Let’s go. Let’s have another look at the river side. I think it’s here that is a background of a lot of movies animation because as you see a few train line go through this area at the same time when sometimes is a uh so is Sabo Jrine and Maron J line also another JR line at least three train and then sometimes there’s like a I don’t if they go down. One of them on the river, another one over there and then the background also you can so at least three four trains to go in different direction on different levels. So it’s very beautiful at daytime and a lot of people actually come from my spot come to here and take photo or video. I think you have seen some of them. It’s very beautiful at day time. But now I don’t know. Should we wait for train to come or should we just go? Let’s just wait a little. Maybe I’m going to read the comments just while we are waiting. All right. All right. Where? Where were we? Okay. So, I’m checking how many tons of guitar stores. Yeah, Petro. There are many. Oh, yeah. That’s more line. And then this one is the other side is uh what is a Sabu line that goes to west side of Tokyo. And there’s another one if you get lucky that one also comes. So at least three trains go on top of each other here. But daytime is very beautiful. Nighttime is just dark. Then the heat is now is hot. It’s humid. Yeah, it’s cool here. All right, I think we got enough of this, right? Let’s Let’s go. So in some certain hours you can see actually three four trains from different direction go on top of this to the rivers or from the river side. So and with the blue sky and the buildings in the background it looks really cool. But now it’s dark. Go like this. Go straight out other stuff in this town. All right. Jacob Johnson, I have a dumb question to ask. Is the name Mau common in both Japan and China? Ma ma h I don’t think is very Japanese Martin. Yeah. July and August in Japan especially in Ku area and also Kai area and also in Kyoshu area is super hot. But if you go to to area or sapper area, it’s it’s fine. Saporo is not that hot. And Chris Wilson, hello. All right, let’s go check the whole area of hotel. Let me see. It’s been a long time since I think for the music town we have to go to opposite side. But let’s actually check here and then we head back to the opposite side. I’m going to show you Maji University and also the music town. Also, we’re going to check the night life area here. And I’m going to actually take you to Akiabara as well because I think yeah, Autonomies is a small area. So we can check a bar too. Oh yeah. Yeah. All right, this area is mostly a residential area and very quiet. Let’s go to the music town. It’s hot in England. Hey, don’t get her up. rob. Nobody gets robbed video. I’m only because there is a new weather. Oh, okay. Not sure what, but Ma it’s Yeah, I haven’t hear the Japanese name. mall. It seems we have to go back from the river side. Not the river side on the bridge. I think too hot in Korea. All right. Now, let’s go to the, like I said, music town. Hello, Brandon. Brandon also, today was Brandon’s birthday. Say birthday to Happy birthday to Brandon. Brandon is here. Happy birthday. Happy birthday, Brandon again. Hope you had a great one. All right, let me take you down the road to some cool area in Oano Museum. So, one of the coolest things here is the music stores. Now, they are closed. I’m not sure if some of them are open this late. So, this area I’m going is famous for uh guitar shops. There are many type of guitars, not only guitars, drums as well, violin and also all type of other instruments. Even if you don’t play music, just walking around this area feels actually good. But like I said, now it might be closed. I’ve checked the guitars. Some of them actually very expensive. Some of them might be even more expensive than the rent. But they have all type of guitar. Also, there are actually some churches in this town for some reason. I don’t know. There are some old one. Some of them is since at least since 100 years ago because like I said a lot of building in Tokyo made of are made of wood and they actually all of them burned out during the war. But church building is made of stone so they survived. Soonom is also is close to Jimucho. Jimucho is a famous book town in Tokyo. They have all type of books. A lot of them are old, nostalgic. So, like I said, we’re going to see a lot of students, young people here because there are three biggest universities are in this town and it’s a cool area. I like this area. And there is a small nightlife area and the price actually is cheap here. So it’s a tricky plane because like I said a lot of people that they use this restaurant in this area are student young student. So the restaurant are budget friendly maybe they set the price for students. So it’s a bit cheaper than other area in Tokyo. All right, let’s check out some shops here. Not very lively here, but let’s check it out. It’s too bad. We’re going to walk maybe from this later. Oh, also what’s birthday was yesterday. Happy birthday again. W. All right. Victoria. Hello from Bulgaria. Is it very hot there? Right now it’s not super hot cuz we had a rain earlier. But in July and August, now it’s already July. It’s getting hot. I mean, super hot soon. Tokyo is really hot. especially July and August. September is getting better. So June also is a rainy season. So we’re going to have two super hot months, July and August. My kanaka must be a ball game going on. Ball game going on. South Bank jerseys. Okay. A cool area here. Let me see what that is. It’s a Zakaya. Nice isa. Nice looking isakaya. Cool. It’s very quiet. Only two customers inside. And this one is super awesome. The design beastro very cool design and 10 on top of there’s a kok bar on the top and here is a restaurant here. All right. It seems there is a here’s bar two on the top. 1 hour 2000. Okay. There is another kaya and ramen. It’s a ramen actually. Soar ramen and it’s popular. So the food, right, I’m going to take you to the music town. So this one seems reuse is always good. Seems they have a reuse. Is it open? Looks like it’s open. All right. Right now we are in a music street. There are many music shops in this area, but like I said, a lot of them are closed this time. And Let’s start from here. So she’ll be What’s coming? No Ben Academy here. Academy. Also, there is a famous ramen shop in this town in Jirro. It’s a super big bow ramen. So earlier I explained there is a really short walk from here to a. So all these buildings are music shop as you see all floors guitar shop now day and I think if you come in night daytime super cool you can go and check them out inside the shop but now most of them are closed as you see I think all of them are closed. So, the guitar price is 258,000 yen. It’s like a $2,000 almost $2,000. That’s top ones. The lower one are cheaper. So, Chanomi is not loud and crazy like Shibuya, Shinjuku. It has a good relaxing smart vibe because it’s student town, art, music. It’s nice to explore this area if you are in Tokyo daytime. That’s good. All music shops. And here we got some other instruments. Violin. Some of them I don’t know what they are. Cool music instruments here. All right, I’m checking the comments now. So, we’re going to actually see Maji University in a minute. Where is the birthday cake or what? WhatsApp. Please hit the Yeah, hit the like button. Yes. Yeah, guys. Hit the like button if you’re enjoying the video. All right. This is Maji University, one of the big university in Tokyo. So the area is so big. We don’t go inside. Just checking out from outside. Yeah, we need two cakes. One for Brandon, one for what? Phil Arnold. No catchers in this part. This town is a student town. No catchers. 68 watching, 40 likes. Yeah. Everyone, please hit the like button. It’s just a matter of moving your finger. But that the result is good. It’s a big support for this channel. If you want to see more live stream high quality in Tokyo, please keep supporting this channel, like, subscribe. Yeah. And enjoy the videos. So he’s in Chioda. Chioda neighborhood. Chioda is just a area central area in Tokyo. Akiabara Tokyo station all located in Chid. Liberty Tower, Maji University. So all these buildings are part of Maji University, Maji campus. It’s a huge building here. Let me show you. Maji University, one of the biggest university in Japan and Tokyo is super popular. All right. I think the steel There are they should have some classes now. I don’t know. This one is a river tower. So mage university has a lot of buildings. Even that one is also part of major university. This one as well. It’s a big student town here. Super clean, very chill wide. has a little cozy night life area, music shops and also is very close to Akiavara only 10 minutes from Akiara 10 minutes walk very close to Jimucho the book town in Tokyo and yeah so if you guys want to see a different vibe in Tokyo. Come and check it out. All right. Now I think we are done with Mizu area. Let’s go and check maybe Akiba between Akiabara and Oan Mizu. Not sure how. But now we are actually if we continue walking in this direction we’re going to reach Jimbo. Let’s actually check out this area. Looks cool. This street. All right. Hello Pedro. Pedro is here. So why students in the street in the late in the night time? Maybe they have some late classes or they could actually I don’t know they could have gone to restaurants or I don’t know some drinking after the classes. You saw there late. Maybe there’s a cool bar over there. Spinball. Gracia. Spain bar. Hello That’s a full baria. Can check it out. They have real Spain beer. And here we have Brandon’s friends McDonald. So this area if you walk only five six minutes you can reach Jimu the book town area. Let me see where we are now. Now we are in uh Okay, we are actually close to H. We are a bit far from October now. We have to now I’m checking the map. So if you go straight, you can see. All right, let’s actually check Jimbo area since we are very close to Jimbo. cuz Jimbo also has a cool nightife area and we haven’t explored Jim on the live stream. Umba. Umba. Oh no. Uma. Now they have horse. Sashimi. I don’t like eating house. Tokidoki. This is my enemy. And the cool little street here with a lot of bars. Let’s go to dim area. Thank you. Heat. Heat. We don’t need somebody. All right, we are almost in Jimuj area now. All right. Again, I found my favorite restaurant. This is the second time I found it in Jimbo 2. I found it earlier in Autonomiz and now in Jimbo. This restaurant is called fish restaurant. Grilled fish. Try it. Yeah, Alan tried actually that restaurant, the fish restaurant. So they can confirm the quality of that which is good and especially for the price. All right. Now we are at Jimbo station line. Shinjuku line. So it’s almost central Tokyo. So I used to I used to work in Shirro Takonava area 9 years ago. My company was located in uh Minotaur War. So I lived in a different area. So I use a green line, change the line. So it’s nostalgic. I usually change the line here and then go to Damn. Yeah. So, I’m going to check this area. Like I said, uh, Yimucho is a famous nostalgic town in Tokyo. But at night also there are some cool bars and restaurant in this area. The bookshops are closed. They are not like a normal bookshops. They are very old nostalgic bookshops. They have very old books. If you want to see old manga, old books, here is the place to go. So, Jin Bucho actually started becoming famous early I think ‘ 90s and and because many schools publisher the old school publisher they actually moved to this area. This way is a book town area because it used to be like that. I’m trying to find a way to go to other side of the street. These guys, they just went like this. Nice. I’m going to go front and that time. So was the biggest book book publisher in the town back then 100 years ago and now it still has the same nostalgic feeling because of that era. Now is the Tokyo’s biggest secondhand book. So everything is in the other side. We have to go back a street of those area. There are many bars and stuff. I need to just find a way to go to the other side. The So you can find a lot of old novels, manga, historic newspapers, even some other weird books. But during actually World War II, a lot of the book stores were destroyed, but many also survived or rebuilt. And still this town like I said is a nostalgic book town but secondhand book. So I here there are aboutund over 100 150 books in this store. So, we’re going to check the back of suits over there. So, there are many secondhand books including like old mangas from ‘ 70s, samurai books, foreign language books like a teaching English, French, even other languages. and secondhand also some old postcards, nostalgic calligraphy and stuff in this shops. So, let me show how they look. Some of them maybe they have a little window to see inside. From outside they look small but from if you go inside some of them are really big. So, For example, this one they have all type of and it seems is open or this one on the No, this one is a isa. Let’s check out the back street. Also because of the book stores and this uh nostalgic feeling. There are a lot of coffees, unique coffee and uh bars too. Let me see. We’re going to check them out. Oh, also he’s famous for curry shop, curry restaurants, curry rice. So yaki and this is another yakiniko ball here. I think in the back of street there are some cool bars. We’re going to go in. So like I said we are in Cha Ward neighborhoods are Akiabara Mizo which we went earlier and Kanda area which is a big salary man nightife town too like Shimashi. Then also the biggest one maybe you guys been there already is Imperial Palace also is in Chud. So all of them are close here very nearby. Let’s go with backside. So you can you can also find some unique book bars or just cafe and some hidden isakar in this town. All right. So after Jimucho, I’m going to walk from here and take you to Karia. So we started from Oan Mizo area, the student town. And now we are in Jimbo area, the book town, nostalgic book town or book publisher town with a lot of secondhand books. And then we’re going to go to Akibbo, anime town, Utaku town. Three different area which somehow they are related. Three different spot in Chawat. All right, let’s let’s go check out some back streets. I remember there are some cool bars in this area. It’s a big area. It’s hard to find them where they are. I was here a long time ago. All right. All right. Seven is here, too. Oh, look at that bar. That’s so cool. Let me show you. It’s a kog bar and they’re singing. This is really cool. This this type of kogar is rare in Japan. From outside you can see them, but you can’t hear them. But it’s so cool. The It’s very acoustic. You can’t hear anything. All right. It’s a nice carboard. That’s actually is a snack. It says Asako snack. The name of the place is Asako snack. Snack is a Japanese old type of bar. Lady serves the customer and the lady actually is called Mama. And they are good at communication with customers because a lot of customers like salary man go to the snack after working hours and they talk to the lady and they get rid of stress with the drink power of drink and the power of the lady the mama. So that mama acts like a actually therapy. Another pool is over here. So yeah, snack bar is the most popular nightlife place in Japan. It’s the oldest one from long time ago. Recently we have a lot of other stuff here as well. corn cafe, host bar and many other things. But used to be only snack bar or some other adult shop. Now still snack snacks are very popular. Still there are many snacks in Japan but also a lot other stuff. Okay. All right. Jimboju is a really big area. You have to walk and find a bar, a unique bar or unique cafe like this. It’s not like they are not really connected like in Kabuki or Bueno. They are separated around the area. Make this one. This also is a snack. As you see a lady is serving customers. So this type of bars are called the snack snack because they serve customers snack food and drink. Again guys, if you are enjoying the video, please hit the like button. I’m checking the chat now. I am checking them. If I see something question for me, I’ll reply otherwise. Yeah, just enjoy the video. Hello Arin Fielder is here. Hello everyone. Hello Arin. Something cool is in front of me. So I think it’s Zakaya. Let’s see. It’s called It says Shi Fuku in Japanese. Oh, it’s in English. Oh, nice. Look at this. It’s so cool, right? So hidden isakaya bars in Japan are unique some. Look at this one. It’s a cool is Oh, also this one as well. Another one. Open. Nice. It seems they are popular for fish and there are many customers inside. Very cool. I like the design. So nice. And another one here. What they have here? So they have they have like a some sort of cor rice and n is very cool is a kaya. There’s another one here. Check them out. Victory. Amazing YouTube life. I’m happy that I find you. Also, the chat is very cool. Happy to meet you guys. Thank you. Hope you enjoy the upcoming videos as well. This is also is nice. Very cool is in Jimu. So a lot of people they go to Shibuya Shinjuku and the big area for isizakaya. But they are very crowded and a lot of tourism. But if you come to Jimbo hidden area in Tokyo, you can see actually very unique is like this awesome and they are very I think it’s like a hidden gem. And actually the price is cheaper. Let’s see. Lemon sour only 199 and yaki tori only 19. It’s amazing. So I think you guys when you come to Japan, yeah, go check Shibuya, go checkpoint or Shinjuku, but also come and check the hidden areas like Jimbo too. Very unique spots. Sun is not crowded. Beautiful. Let me check the chest. Have a drink when you got a chance. Thank you for call. I will if I got a chance. If I see something unique. I can’t go inside crowded places. I don’t want to bother people with the camera. But if someone ask me to go in, I go. And ramen here. Looks good. Is it hard to come for the communication English with people on the small hidden areas? Uh I would advise you maybe better learn some basic Japanese word if you go to like hidden area but also uh a lot of Japanese nowadays if you English words or you can just use like a Google not Google translate or any other application for a restaurant you don’t have really any issue especially at night when people Japanese people they drink they are more friendly, more relaxed, and not shy anymore. So, it’s much better to communicate, especially when you go drinking at night. So, the feeling is different. All right, let’s All right, I’m going to check this side, too. Not many people in this area speak English uh back there. Autonomy area we went earlier is a student town and uh I think a lot of young Japanese speak some English. Here also is a book town. Maybe they speak English. I haven’t tried to speak English with them. Now, it’s not rude to use Google Translate at all. A lot of Japanese by default when you go to shop, they pull out the phone and they start talking with you with Google Translate or other phones. No, it’s not rude at all. And all right, this Otoya restaurant also is a good restaurant. They have you see Isakaya and they have some really good food. I think most foreigner can handle this type of food. They have grilled fish, chicken, pork with rice, with curry and it’s good. Oh, yeah. Anyway, and yeah. All right, I think it’s enough for Jimbo. So, shall we go to Otago Town? Let’s see a different face of Japan’s Otaku town akawara at night, late night. Let’s see. I have to seven almost always use Japanese first. I found Google transl my Japanese. It’s always good to, you know, to learn some Japanese to use. But one bad point I have to just let you guys know when you uh speak Japanese with the Japanese people, they naturally reply in Japanese and then if they talk in like a different world, then it would be difficult for you guys to understand what they say. So it’s it’s good to speak a little Japanese but yeah. Yeah, you cannot make like a real conversation with little Japanese. So it’s better to be prepared to have some application or Google translate or something just ready. If if conversation got complicated, you can just use it. All right, let’s go to the other side. All right. It seems we are because originally I wanted to my initial plan was to start from Oanomizo and go directly to Akawara but we ended up in Jimuch. Now Jimu is a bit far from Akawara. If I walk, it’s about 19 20 minutes walk. So if you guys Okay, I can just walk 19 minutes and we can see some random stuff between Jimbo and and then actually I cannot go directly to Akavara. I have to go to Kanda area which is even cooler than Akuba at night because Kanda has a unique nightlife area. So we can go from here to Kanda and then from Kanda to Akiawa. So 15 minutes walk to Kanda and then from there 10 minutes walk to Aki and we’re going to just see some random stuff here. And we might get a drink from a communist soap if we couldn’t go inside the bar. Let’s see. And I’m going to check the comments as well. Yeah. If you guys are new here, we are doing a a tour a com we are doing a tour guide a tour guide company in Japan mostly now we are focused on in Tokyo area but we do long tour in some other areas in Japan too. So we did uh a tour in Tohoku area was about 6 days long tour in Tohoku area. We actually explored three different there’s another cool bar here. Three different prefectures and then the next long tour is going to be in Hokkaido area. Hokkaido I think has a lot of things to offer but Hokkaido is really huge. You need to and Japan is really good for transportation train everywhere but Sapuro Hokkaido area is super big. So you need a car in Hokkaido area because there are many cool places you are very far from each other. So this why we have our own bus for that tour and so far I think we have more than 20 people on the it’s supposed to take only 20 people but we are talking to the company if we the booking company if we can take more than 23 24 people cuz we have some other requests. Let’s check this area. So the next February we’re going to do a long tour in Hokkaido area. Yeah. Also we are doing regular tours in Tokyo night life area tour, bar hopping tour and anime town tour. So we take you inside mate cafes, girls bars, isakaya’s bars. So, please check them out at smileywalk.shop. Oh, this area also looks cool. It’s like a shoten guy. I think in the daytime is this type of shot guy with a light on the top. In the daytime they are very lively but night time if there are some inside bars like this they’re also good but it seems this is already closed anyway I’m booking the ikur We’re on the tour for October RNC. All right. Awesome. What’s like random stuff, Brandon? Yes, you’re right. What? You never know what you in. Yeah, in Tokyo. Just randomly you go inside one street and you see something unique like this one. What is this? What is that building? What is it actually? Triangle gate. It’s like a theater musical or something. Looks like a theater. Pretty triangle door. Car say, “Have you got enough batteries?” I think I have got enough batteries for three hours stream cuz right now my I think I mentioned again a few days ago my lens is very heavy because this lens is a gym master lens and it gives me the highest quality. So, I’m going to try this lens for a while. Even though it’s my setup now is heavier by half k. Now, I think it’s heavier, but I want to try this G Master lens for live stream to see how different it is. Yeah. So over there was these area, the music town area, also the student town, the know the Maji University on the top. You see that’s actually the tall building is Maji University. We explored that area in the in the first part of the video. There are many construction going on in Japan every day, every night. But the way they organize it is super cool. It’s super safe. Okay. Manage it really nicely. Thank you very much Sven for recommending the tours. Many places seems to close before 10 in this area. Yeah, maybe in this area. I think they are open until 910 but also it depends on area in Japan a lot of places also are open until midnight like in Ou area Shinjuku Shibuya and the big area also some local area there are some there always some isakayads that open until midnight and bars and some other other area are open until Morning. There are ramen shops actually open until morning because in drinking area people after drinking usually eat ramen. So this way a lot of them are open and there are also some restaurants that run for 24 hours. So this one is a yakiniku. It’s closed. Oh, it’s open. The sign says open. For example, this one is open until late night. Anyway, Starbucks coffee in front of us. Starbucks coffee I think is the second popular coffee in Japan or maybe the third one. I think Tali is the first one. There are many type of coffee in Japan. Many local one. some international room like Starbucks. So it says Pug Machi Station 130 m Jimu I just passed. So all this area is Chudo Ward and Chudo’s main area is the Imperial Palace. Imperial Palace is in the Imperial Garden which used to be called Edo Castle because when Tokyo was the capital in Edo period the castle was there. So we are in the castle area now within 2 three kilometers from the Edo castle. Now we are walking in Chiod area and actually we can see a view of a sky tree from here. Let me show you a view of a sky tree from here. That’s sky tree in the background far away. Today we are far from a sky tree. That’s sky tree with a blue light on the top. Skyree has a cool lighting program every day based on week days and sometimes based on the events happen in that day. They have different lightings. So this lens I’m using is a like I said a G Master zoom lens 16 to 35 mm. The other lens I usually use is a lighter is a half of weight of this one. That one is a G lens. It’s a power zoom. That one also is new. Is really good. I like that one because it’s very light. So, the setup goes lighter by half gig. This one is a bit heavier. And that lens has a cool smooth power zoom like a lens. And then also you can actually go to 50 mm because it has also a digital zoom on top of the physical zoom. So it gives you a 15 mm. So we could go actually see sky tree a bit closer for example with that lens. But with the this lens it’s just a physical zoom only 35. All right. Now we are in area. So also one station away from park here but uh And like I said, we are very close to Honda. And actually, we are in between and and Akiva. Now it’s 10:35. Can we can we see can we see both area condavor tonight together? Let’s see. Calculate my battery. All right. I think we are good for another two hours of stream I think. But also, I have to recharge my own battery. I’m talking about the setup battery, but also I have to recharge my own battery. I have to go to a 7-Eleven, get a drink or maybe a family one. Let’s see what is the next convenience store. And you can also help me to charge my battery if you like the if you hit the like button. That that’s also another way to recharge my battery. All right, it seems we got a family mark just in front of us. Now here is Bamachi station toy subway Shinjuku line. So this toy subway goes from Shinjuku to all the way to Chiba. And by the way, this type of also pharmacy drug store are 24 24 hours. If you got some random sickness when you came to Tokyo, you should not be worried because this type of pharmacy are open 24 hours. What’s it say? Do you have your fan with you? No, today actually I didn’t bring my fan. I felt because it was rain so it should be cool but it’s not very cool. It’s humid and it’s hot. So I’m going to go cool only. at his own mouth and get a drink here. It’s a huge family mo Wow. The drink lineup. It’s good. Today, what should I get today? I want to get this one. My favorite lemon sour. This one is not lemon. It’s a grapefruit sour. Grapefruit sour only 5%. All right. Nobody’s here to You can pay actually automatically here, but you cannot buy alcohol here. Martin. So pretty. Passionity. He was surprised with the big camera of my big setup. All right, now we got the lemon sour. This is the standard good drink you can buy everywhere in Japan. They have grapefruit, lemon sour, and they say they have some other stuff as well. It’s only 5% alcohol from Kirin company. It’s a big company. And by the way, the Tanavata festival is coming soon. This decoration is for Tanavata Festival. I’m going to shoot a video soon for Tanavat. So comedy are everywhere in Japan. 71 here. Fun was here. Another funk in front of us. There is a that’s a pharmacy actually. But over there is another family. Can I open the can with one hand? All right. Chairs, guys. This lemon sour is really good. Very tasty. All right. Waiting for traffic lights. Okay. Heat. Heat. We got a sitting or area. One really good point about Tokyo that I really like, it’s when you walk at night anywhere, you feel the safety. It’s really safe everywhere. Even though, like I said, it’s the biggest city and most populated one in the world, it’s safe, it’s clean, it’s well organized. Yeah, you can see the architecture is messy. A lot of buildings all together, the shape, but also depends on the area. Some area actually looks cooler, feels better. Some area like Shibuya is really messy. Yeah. I mean the buildings, the design, everything is messy. It’s not in harmony. But also it depends if you go to some area not central like in Tachikawa or like in a bit like a side of Tokyo. Outside you can see some really wide street, nice buildings, mostly quiet, not crowded. But central Tokyo is a bit Yeah. messy. So I think that area if you walk is Akuba or Kanda let me know. Okay. Now we are actually between Kanda and Akiba. So cond is local night life with many bars and ger bar. It’s a small area town made coffee town but at night most shops are closed but there are some actually corn coffee and bar that they are open at late night. Which one should they go? I feel we can’t see both because maybe let me to let me be honest with you. Kanda is more uh a sexy town compared to Akiara because has a lot of girls bar a lot of bars and night life area. Akibar also has but Akiwara is mostly daytime because of the shops and made coffees but recently there are many also night life places in Akiwa too. Now we are in between the two area very close then say what what if I if I admit yakuza it’s not dangerous anymore yakuza used to be dangerous but not Yeah. Clear. This noco also is a chain cheap restaurant in Japan. So they are open until late night and they are specialized for uh some food like kag soba or and they are really cheap about 800 yen. A lot of salary men they come to this area and get a quick lunch or dinner after work and usually is very quick. You can get served in 5 minutes. You can get your food in 5 minutes. All right, where we are now. All right. Actually, I’m going to cond then I’m going to K area and then we go to Aurora. Heat. Heat. So like I said, Kanda, it’s also another area in Chawward. So we are exploring Chiod War today. We started from Oanomizu. We went to Jimucha area and now we are heading to cond area which is a also salary man night life like shimashi but a smaller version I’m going to explain why and then we go to aka the finished stream in a late night a but we are getting closer to a mysterious town called Kanda. I need to find the trash can to Oh yeah, I’m lucky. I got one here. It’s rare to find trash can in Tokyo, but today we are lucky. All right. Now we are getting close to cond lot of girls in this town. This is a DVD. Curry House, Coco. This one also is I think a lot of you guys know this. They are famous for curry rice. Coco Ichiban. They have very reasonable car and the price is with $1 is really good. It’s not the best, but for the price is good. So as you see Kanda station on Ginsa line is on the way to Shiba from Shiba to Asakus Kanda station it’s only I think five six station away from Asakus area. It has a really unique feeling because of the like atmosphere. I’m going to explain about cond. Let’s go from here. So, cond is a Tokyo’s mix of old and new uh energy. So, you can see some old nostalgic area and some modern version of shops in this area. Like I said is also located in Chiod word same word as Akiara. So now so this if we continue this way it goes to Akiara but we are not going to Aurora for now. We are going to that shiny area over there because that’s all about bars and hairs and clouds and all isakaya. So we’re going to check them out tonight. So it’s only 10 15 minutes walk from Akiawara or 20 minutes from Jimbo area or even very close from so the mix of history, business and drinking spots. So cond is not very is not a new area in Tokyo. is uh it has about maybe four 400 years of history because like I said it’s in Shodo near Imperial Palace which used to be Edo Castle center of Edo. Edo was the old Tokyo name in Edo period since 400 years ago. So this area also was like a a big area close to the emperor palace. So a lot of samurai actually lived in this area. So this why maybe sometimes they call it summary town even there is no summary here. So here we’re going to check this area later when we go to Akiara because this route this road is connected to Akiara. We need to just walk 10 minutes to reach Akavara from here. We’re going to check it out later. But now we’re going to go and check the main cond. So like I said there are many girls bar in this area and the catchers are here waiting for customers to invite or inside the bars and drink with them. Let’s cross the street. Let me check the colors now. I feel it’s really hot here. I don’t know because of them walking is hot or cond is hot or that’s condosi uh there are many bars is they are called gadoshittita in Japanese means under the tracks isakaya and there is a British hub over there you guys might be interested in hop There are many British hub in Japan. Every location has a British hub. That’s the hub cond version. All right, let’s check the area. So here this is a huge bridge under the bridge there are many isakayas JR line here I think Shinkansen also goes on top as you see so there is two big area divided by this bridge the north side and the south side we’re going to go the check the boat area but I’m going to show you the really cool architecture of Honda at night. It’s really nice. Let’s go and check them out. You can see unique triangle buildings, but you can’t see it only in Tokyo because they manage the space really well. Then they use all type of technique to use the space everywhere. Even under the bridge, there is no dead spot in Tokyo. Everything is managed. properly to make business. Yeah, guys, please hit the like button if you are enjoying the videos. So this type of architecture I think is only Tokyo can find this type of building triangle buildings everywhere. Let’s check out some other. So there are many clubs and girls bar and kajjo and all type of night life in this area. This way they compare it to Shimbushi which has a different which has a similar Good question. I like it. It’s hot. So again, As you see, super lively. Very lively. We have to wait. Again, construction here. That’s really nice. Heat. Heat. All right, let’s check that area. Then we’ll come back. I need to get another drink cuz it’s super hot. You see too many taxis here because a lot of businessmen go drinking after work and then after they are done they get a taxi to go home or also there are many girls that work at night and they use taxi to come here or to Yeah. So taxi in Japan, the best time for taxi business is night, close to midnight, because everybody uses taxi. Daytime, not many people use taxi. And look at this isakaya. It’s so cool. Right. Right. Let’s check out some hidden area. I will check about the comments soon. Let me let me check out this area first. We are in the back. All is Wow, look at the old buildings here. Should you go back to the live area or just go deeper, see what we find here? Let’s just check out this corner and then we go back. So condo is it’s just 10 minutes from Akiara but has 100% different feeling. It’s a lot of mysterious nightlife spot. Gas bar, horse club, snack bar, kabakura, kabajjo, all pleasure town for salary man drinking here. This one is a nice cozy zakaya here. Only a few people are inside. 24 hours open. Another is kaya and it’s super popular. All right. Wait. All right, let’s see. Let’s see the other side of the bridge here. Yeah, let’s go back to that. All right, I’m checking the comment now. Have a drink on me, J Carl. Thank you. I got to get the drink soon. I feel thirsty now. Any red today? Actually, when I started the live stream autonomy, the first few frames of the camera, I saw a few rats. You check out the beginning of the video, you see them. I hope they please the amount of like on this video. Oh, really? We got a lot of likes. Thank you very much. Continue hitting the like button, please. Oh, Paul is here on Parliament. Hello. All right. Uh brand hit 100. Oh, we got 100 one like already. Thank you. 90 likes and J will do a one hand car. No, we need more like for that. Aren said if we get 200 likes, Bobby will buy everyone a ticket for Japan. All right, let’s let’s go for the north side of the station. I think that area is more interesting. So that area goes to Akiawara in front of us over there. Akiawara. We’re going to go there later. We are not done with Kanda yet. Kanda has some other stories to tell you guys. We’re going to hear Kanda’s story tonight and then we go to Akiara. Now it’s almost a little early. No, 11:10 actually. So maybe 10 20 minutes more in this area then we head to Akiawara. Let me take you to a more exciting town in Kanda. Now it’s under the station. Now, like I said, we are checking the north side of the station. Did we actually hit the 100 likes or not yet? All right. Some massage places. It’s just a nice advance massage seats. 300 for 10 minutes. 300 yen for 10 minutes. So if you don’t like human massage, you can go enjoy the non nonhuman massage. I will 24 hours open. Let’s check this out here. Brian say 81 likes. All right, guys. Please help to reach 100 likes before we end the stream. We have still sometimes and taking you to some deep area in Kanda. People are having fun midnight drinking here which is awesome, right? Hello. 1 hour 2000. Thank you. I get yours. I So was kabokura is cheap actually. That’s the price of a gears bar. Not a kabokur is twice as much as that one. Yakon they have a grilled yak here. All right. Let’s go from the back side. Very nice. Isakaya says 1,480 for one set. All right, let’s explore more. I haven’t reached the main area yet. And this bar also is so cool. Only a few customers inside. Look at here. Very nice. Back to 1790s. Onakoku. Michael Jackson is singing there. I have to run away from the copyright. This ticket to go also is another chain is off. They are famous for usual chicken. All right, guys. Hit the like button, please. We need to reach 100 miles. H seems cheap in here. The drinking area actually are cheaper than Shinjuku. Only uh 1,00 500 for some of them. Let’s check this area too. So is a French restaurant here. It’s strange. Can’t find the place that they saw last year. It was a cool place. I want to show you guys. I don’t know. I’m just turning around. I can’t find it. All right. This Check out other set. What time is it now? It’s 11:40. I gave up to find that place. Maybe another time. Let’s head to Aki because I promise I’m going to show you a water. So, let’s see it. Akiawara is only I think 10 minutes away from here. Also on the way to Akiara, you can see some cool cozy bars in here under the truck. Midnight is summer is all about drinking at night everywhere. becomes so lively because daytime is so hot. Night time is awesome because it’s cooler. Still is hot, but daytime is terrible. Night time still is okay. So, a lot of people go out at night. This board looks cool. Standing bar touching ball. All right, just need to follow the bridge and we’re going to reach a so I get a convenience store on my way. I’m going to recharge my battery again. Oh, now I’m checking the chat. Still listening. Super chatting while driving. Oh, Alan, you’re driving now. Thank you very much. Thank you for the super chat. Be careful while driving, Alan. Really appreciate your support all the time. Allen always is always supporting the channel. Super chatting while driving should be very difficult but Alen did that. All right. Now we are in Ka heading to Akiara. This area is chill. Let’s reach Akuba and then also we can judge and compare Akuba night life with cond. So under this train truck also there are many snack bars and also tachinoi or in Japanese means standing bar. Really nice cozy and kitchen 723. There’s a snack bar here. Can also drink outside. Snack bar here again. Snack bar here. So example of a snack bars in Japan like this. Only a few customers inside but very cozy. So this actually type of touching are really good if you want to engage in conversation with local people. And you can practice your Japanese if you are studying. So because people drink and then go uh very and they become very talkative, especially Japanese people after they drink, they’re not shy anymore. You can practice Japanese with them or you can just talk to them. Some of them also want to try English. A lot of Japanese people actually know some English but because they are shy they don’t really talk but after they get some drink they talk. All right, we are in between Kanda and Akavara. Few more minutes to reach a see another snack bar here. So we going to actually go uh we going to reach Kanda River now. It’s a cool river connected to uh Sumida River also. It’s connected to the Tokyo Bay. You can actually ride on a boat. It’s a small river, but it’s nice. You’re gonna see the river and then after the river we are in Okawar already. Let’s see. Right. Traffic white screen. Bobby is counting like button. 86. Now we need more likes, guys. If you are enjoying the video, please hit the like button. Hit the like button now. All right. This is quiet. It’s a great area, but very clean. You can hear the train moving on the top. The city is 11:30. The train I think is running until 12:30 because this one is JR line. I think JR line I think it works until 12:30. Depends on the area and Yeah, now we are very close to Ok. I think we are very close to the Thunder River now. It’s just here, I think. We are under the bridge and we are on the bridge actually under the train track. But here is Kanda River. Very cool, right? Very quiet, clean river. Very nice. And like I said, it’s connected to Sumida River. It’s connected to Asakusawashi. It’s connected to Tokyo Bay. You can ride on a boat and enjoy the Tokyo in a different way. There is actually special area in Akiara on the river. as there are many coffee and restaurant with a good with a view of the river. That area also is super cool. I think we are in a area almost not yet. Lot of vending machinery. So, should I get the Red Bull energy drink or should I get the beer? Which one works better? Another cool bar here. Where is Where is local?
Many foreigners here. All right, we are in Akara. We are in Akiba and we can see the big Uashi camera over there, but now it’s closed. That’s over there in the background. All right, let’s check midnight. gives you wings. Beer. Let’s try. Not beer. Maybe I get a double sour. Grab a beer. Guess it’s later. Yeah. Yeah. Red Bull. If If I drink Red Bull now, I can’t sleep tonight. But if I get a beer. Yeah. I think you get energy and you can sleep too. Yeah. We all need beer. All right, I’m going to get the beer. Yeah, guys, hit the like button. We are in Akiawara now because we are in Akawara now. It’s the is the fourth location I’m checking tonight. So, I started from Oan Mizo. I went to Jimbo and then I went to Honda and now I’m in Akiba four location. We are checking for popular location in Tokyo now. So it should be easy to reach 100 likes. So you guys, some of you guys haven’t hit the like button. I’m sure. Just hit the like button, please. Of course, you can hit the like button now. Now, we are in Akiva Jr. Jine. I’m going to show you the Yodawashi camera and then we’re going to check the other areas in the town. Now, the lights are off camera. I think this is the biggest camera in Japan can buy. It’s my favorite spot. Maybe I have been to this building more than any places in Japan because I like camera gadget and stuff. I always go here and check. All right, we’re going to head to the main area. So this is scuba express from Akuba. You can reach to Asakusa in 4 minutes. It’s a really really nice way to reach uh Asakusa from here from Akuba. Only 4 minutes from here. This monitor, this screen is new. I think they opened it last year. And it’s really nice. It just wraps around the whole building. Advertising anime and stuff. Super cool. All right, we have Marcus here. Hello, Marcus. How are you doing?
Hi, Marcus. Hit the like button immediately. We need to reach 100 likes now. Oh, yeah. Bobby already mentioned. Thank you, Bobby. All right. Okay. Yeah, beer has a lot of color compared to lemon. Oh, they got a game for Azura Lane and I don’t know those the blue ar. Oh, that’s what the monitor is for. Okay, thank you Brandon for the information. I didn’t know that. the US money. All right, we haven’t reached the main area in Akiva yet. Let’s see the midnight version of the Akuba’s electronic town. Now it’s almost 11:40. So yeah, Hakuba used to be only about anime, manga, electronic stuff and made coffee. But recently they have opened a lot of uh nightlife spot too like Gears Bar or Kong Cafe. Now we are in Kar station the airline. So this tunnel also connects you to the Udawashi camera from here. Another way to go is from this hotel mids JR East. As you see now, all the shiny building, they are shiny until 10 p.m., but now everything is dark. But we’re going to go and check some back streets. So, this area is super popular. When they release new anime new product, they usually advertise it here and a lot of otaku come and take photo of it because of the cool design. Very cute characters. 91 likes. We need nine more likes, guys. Some of you guys are watching now and you haven’t hit the like button. You can do it now. Let’s see who actually hit the 100. Number 100. Okay, we are in family mode now. It’s cool. This many more is what should I get? I’m going to get the beer. some beer or a lemon. So, Yeah, all convenience store 24 hours like most of them. So, I’m going to get uh Yeah, let me get the lemon sour. Which one is good? Same typical one or try a different one. Okay, I’m going to get this one. This phone remark is very small. I can’t even go from here. Family check always. Oh, there is a family check here. All of this And there All right, we got the second lemon sour for tonight. All right. Cheers, guys. All right, let’s check out Akiba. Sorry guys, I got lemon sour but a different type. All right, let’s explore. Akiba midnight. First, let’s check out the main street and then I’ll take you to the back streets. Wow. I can see some catchers still working. It’s midnight. Catchers. Midnight. Strange, right? Oh, new game center. Game panic. We are open. This is another side of the JR station and catchers are here. Hi. Okay. corner. She said you can shoot video if I if I talk to the manager and they say okay. And that also is depends on if they have customer inside. If they have customers inside, we can’t shoot video inside. This is a car is a bit more expensive than normal k because they have very colorful rooms with like this type of drink and food.
So, it’s more expensive than normal karaoke. All right, let’s see what else we can find. So, So this spot in Akiabara is super cool. Nice view for taking photo and video. But now because of the construction is not really cool. Going to go straight. So if you just go straight, we’ll reach Oeno area. I think it’s only 15 minutes walk from here. Oo area is a different warding. So far we explored four areas in Tokyo. Like I said, we started from Otanizu area to simplify. Oanizu is a student town, music town. Then we went to Chimuju area. Tokyo’s nostalgic secondhand secondhand book book store town because there used to be a lot of book publisher back then. Then we went to Kanda area and another businessman nightlife town and now we are in Akiawa. Akiabara which is a you know everybody knows Otaku town and anime town. So all these four areas we explored tonight are located in Chiod in Tokyo. Chiod is the place that Tokyo Imperial Palace is located. Palace that one is also is in yeah Chart. But now if we go straight we reach another area in Tokyo is tight toward and you see still a lot of catchers are working here because made coffees are you know mostly family friendly about food design cuteness they are like a daytime business but corn coffee they serve alcohol so they’re categorized as night area and wow I am seeing a lot of catchers in front of us now I didn’t know also turned into a nightlife area we see them daytime working for mate coffics but now a lot of them here for so they are kong coffin It wasn’t like this. Oki. Now Okara is also
I think I might have to use my legs.
Got a unique nightife feeling as well. Now we understood that Akipa also has a night life. Cat coffee English menu available by the normal cat. Thank you Bobby for confirming the like button. Bobby tonight is in charge of counting the lights. Now 94. We need six more, guys. Hit the like. I don’t know why I’m pushing too much. It really doesn’t matter if we reach 100 or no, but it becomes a thing tonight. Reaching 100 like so. So, should I say I will not finish this live stream until we reach 100. I don’t. Okay, I’m going to go straight and then turn left and take you to the back side of a some hidden bars in the back. I have shot many videos inside a lot of these made coffees, but not inside the bars at night. And this shop is not open. You can buy all anime characters here. It’s open. Strange. All right. All right. So, from here, 10 more minutes walk you reach area, which is another super popular nightlife area. But this is much livelier than here. But that’s a mission for another night. Now we are heading to the back street. I’m going to check the other area. All right. You can see construction everywhere at night in Tokyo.
Yeah. Yeah. It seems this supermarket is new. I haven’t seen this one before. And it seems is open 24 hours. It’s really cool. In Tokyo, there are many places that you work until late night and sometimes until sometimes it’s 24 hours. One thing for sure I can say is Donkey is a popular uh shopping mall, a chain. They have branch everywhere and they sell everything from here. Oh, let’s go from here. Akiba back street. I think is h I’m changing my mind. Maybe I have to go back to the main street, cover the main street again, the little right side, and then we go to the back street. I’m done with this string, too. I need to get rid of this can. Can I find the trash can? Maybe I can just put it here. The trash can spot. All right, I’m checking the chat now. Holland doesn’t get angry. Uh, all right. Where were we? Where were we? We didn’t check the comments for a long time. Let’s see. Was they going to do a one hand cwheel at 100 likes? Sergio Passini is here. Hello, Sergio Passini. We are not going to Kabuki. We are far from Kabuki tonight. And this area is new. Wow. Look at here. This is cool. TCG vending machine shop. This is new. It’s my first time seeing this. And it says 24 hours open. Let’s check it out. Let’s check it out. What? Oh, they have money exchange as well here. No smoking, no trash can, no bottle, nothing. Nothing. Money exchange here. What is this area? All empty boxes. What does it mean? So, it means recycle box. You can put Oh, okay. If you buy stuff here, you can just put rubbish here. So, you can buy anime related stuff here. Vending machine for some cool characters. 3,000 yen. Very expensive, right? And this one is one pay, one play, 1,000 yen. And you might uh if you’re lucky, you can buy you can win something pricier than the 1,000. And here is what is this? They have Yeah, I don’t know. I don’t know this stuff. Anyway, some of you guys might know this some game related, anime related stuff here. It’s cool. It’s new and it’s 24 hours open. And what is this one? Shady thing. They have a bed. There’s a girls there. And there’s a bed. There’s a shower final welcome. What does it mean? If you combine all these images and come up with one idea, what what what you do? What would be that idea? I don’t know. Let’s see. Let’s see the other side. There’s a shisha bar here and it’s open and it’s here. H shady or maybe not shady. We don’t know yet until we go inside. Family Mart here. All right. Oh, caeria in Akiva. Yeah. Working 24 hours. Oh, can we actually go from here? They’re making a big hole here.
Can I go inside? Wow. The big construction here. They’re digging. All right. Yeah, we can go around this. Hello. All right. Heat. Okay. That’s the Donkey Hotel building which is open 24 hours. Donkeyote in Akiawara has special stuff about anime made cosplay stuff. So donkey concept in Japan is they localized based on the area they are located. In Asakusa they have traditional stuff. In Akiabara they have animal related stuff. In Kabukicho they have night life related stuff. Everywhere they have uh different stuff based on the location but also they have common stuff. All right. Catchers over here too in this area. It’s hot. Now we have been doing live for 3 hours and we are in. So the catcher is talking to one customers and and all right let’s so I’m going to walk you through this area and then take you the back street. Perfect. Yeah, this is the story of Akiba on midnight. Still there are some areas you can enjoy some bars, some corn cafe and some mysterious spot in the back streets. Let’s see if we can find anything. Should we go from here? I shot a video here two years ago. It’s a nice school fun coffee. I interviewed the girls few years ago and it seems it’s open underground corn. We can hear the train is working. I think is JR line. JR line is working until uh 12:30 I think. This ramen shop is very popular. It’s only 600 yen. Roman in Noca is popular, but more than Roman I think uh cutter rice and this is the maid on the second floor. Now it’s closed. M is a Made coffee. Corn coffee. They have license to run business at late at late night. made coffees if they open business is illegal at night because the license from government let them only work until I think 9:00 p.m. 1000 p.m. So every type of shop in Japan has a permission from government and that permission is related to tax. how much they are paying tax. If it’s related to night life, adult stuff, the tax is much more. So everything is actually decided by government. All right, let me Oh, we we hit actually we got 100 likes. So, thank you guys. Thank you very much. We got 100 likes for the first time in this channel during a live stream. Thank you guys. Brandon is leaving. Happy birthday, Brandon again and thank you for joining the live stream. Thank you, Bobby. Thank you, Brian. Thank you, Carl. Rin, thank you. Thank you, everyone. Yay, we got 100 likes. We got 100 likes. We then That means we need to get another drink. Oh. Oh. Oh, no. No. No, no, no, no. Where? It was a I just saw a big rat. Maybe. All right. Why I’m following the rats? I don’t know. Yeah. So this is a conc fourth floor and it’s open. As you see the lights is on. This one is like a Kawajjo 60 minute 4,000 yen. No, it’s a bunny. It’s a bunny as well. All right, let’s get another lemon sour and say look what I started. Thank you Alan. All right, I’m going to get a I’m going to get a lum from Losen and there is a music here. Hopefully we don’t get copyrighted. I’m going to get quickly. We don’t have much time to uh think. I’m going to get which one? All right. I’m going to get Yeah, this is too much. That’s 7%. And this is a strong zero 9% headache. I’m going to get the this one. This is the omei sour. This is this is the omushi sour, which is good. only 5%. All right, let’s see if we can get All right. I had to rush it because of the music. All right, guys. Thank you very much for the super chat. We got another lemon souru is a Japanese uh is like plum. They use this uh a lot for food. They put it even on the rice oniri. And it’s a bit sour. It’s really good. And yeah, let’s open this. All right. Thank you very much everyone for the likes and thank you so much for the super chats. Cheers everyone. This is really good. This is my new favorite. It’s been a long time. I tried this one long time ago. Now, because of the music, I didn’t have time to think. I got this one quickly. But it’s really good. The taste really is recommended when you come to Japan. Try this. It It’s not sour. It’s sweet and sour. This tastes different is unique. All right, let me Oh, we got Oh, thank you very much. What for the super what? also got super chat and Brian send five explore Japan live gift membership. Thank you very much Brian. Thanks a lot Brian. What I have to do something with this uh the membership of this channel. Thank you very much guys again. And that one is a home at home coffee. I think the most popular made coffee in Japan. They have five six branches. They have branches everywhere in Japan. They are famous for quality of service. There are two of them that they are really big at home and made dream. It’s a bit cheaper. The quality of at home is better, but also it depends on the shop. All right, let’s continue. Now, surprisingly, I felt I have battery only for 3 hours, but now I think the battery is still working. It’s working well. Maybe we still have few 30 more minutes and the train is here is running. Now it’s 12:20. And maybe I walk because now I don’t go I don’t go back home with the train. I’m going to walk from my home. Now we’re in Akiabara. Actually, it’s only 25 minutes walk. So, I’m gonna walk to Asakus here and then maybe I keep the live. If you guys are interested, if you are not tired, you can keep watch. If you are tired, you can say bye. But if you are okay, we can just continue for now until I reach my neighborhood. I’m going to check the helmets. Now that corn coffee on the third floor is on my list to visit. Yeah, that that place is good. But make sure you check the price. You confirm the price before you go in. Let’s see how well Jay is gimbal works when he is drunk and wobbly. So far so good. Cheers Victoria. Cheers. Cheers. Thank you very much, guys. Oh, no. Cheers. Thank you. How much was the drink? The drink is This one is 200 yen. The can I got from? So, it’s a bit more expensive than normal lemon sour. Normal lemon sour is like 150. This one is 200 something 200. It’s like a 1. It’s $1. No, less. It’s more than $1. It’s 1.34, I think. Hello, Michael. Hello from Nottingham, UK. Hello. Welcome to the live stream five towns in one stream. Yeah, actually we explored Yeah, five area. Now I’m heading to Asakus Sabashi area. If we reach asaku sawashi safely. So it means we explored five. Thank you guys. All right. Please enjoy watching. Let me double check how long we need to reach. All right, we going to go to the opposite side to reach Asakus Sabashi area which is a different word, different city in Tokyo. Sakusabashi is in title W. This lemon sour without exaggerating is really good. And this one is from Sappuro. Sapurro is a big drink company in Japan. They are famous for sapper beef. But this lemon sour home sour actually. It’s really good. That that food is a and there’s it’s very popular fruit in Japan. They make everything out of this. Oh, something is happening here. Police is here. A few police car is here. I don’t know. Something has happened here. Maybe it’s already settled. So, we going to go under the tunnel. Oh, let’s go for No, I’m going to go from the outside. always under the buildings means a bit lower internet quality even though I’m using four four internets now. So the reason I can’t handle this like a fullframe 4K 60fps quality is I’m using four internet at the same time. Sometimes I can use six internet at the same time because of my encoder, but now I’m using four because it’s a bit lighter. All right, we are heading to Sakusia and as you see the train is working. Now it’s 12:30. So some lines, it depends on the lines and location things work until maybe around 100 a.m. WJ $139 for a drink. Crazy. Yeah, alcohol is really cheap in Japan. And you know they there are many drinking company in Japan. They are very popular and they are rival. They are competing for the quality. And the good thing, no matter how many you drink, you don’t get really hangover. If you just stick on one type of drink, if you don’t mix them up, if you, for example, go with lemon sour or you go only with whiskey high ball, you don’t get headache. Or only sake, well, if you mix them up, you get headache. Also, there is another solution for that. There is a heperiso is a type of drink you can get in the like family m or convenience store before starting drinking then you don’t get headache or hangover next day. So it’s a big part of Japanese economy drinking. So there are high quality drinks everywhere and night life area in Japan. It’s awesome. Yeah, drinks is yeah if you drink at the bar or isaka is more expensive but if you buy it from supermarket or convenience store is very cheap that’s of course and then so let me also explain about like for example we saw a guy with two So they have a system at night in some bars. If you go to a bar and drink with the girls, they have a system. It’s called duhan. Also, they have another system. It’s called after. By the way, this is another view of Yodawashi camera. My favorite camera shop in Akavara. Yeah, they have dhan. They have after dhan is when you invite the staff of a bar or kawakura, the girls to eat and drink with you before they start working at the bar. It’s called beef uh duhan. So if you are a regular customer of the bar, you can actually invite the girls to go out with you, eat dinner with them one, two hours and then go back to their place to the bar they work and continue drinking with them. So that’s a system they have it in a lot of gears bar or kabakuro or kabajjo in Japan. You can invite the girls for a dinner. You have to pay the dinner also. Sometime you have to pay additionally but if you don’t pay additionally still you need to open open some drinks expensive drinks at the bar when you go there. So that’s called dhan. There is another one is called after which is more complicated. That means after working hours like Kabakura or Kabaju or Gersbar which is sometimes 1:00 a.m. you can actually ask them after midnight after working hours to go out with you to continue bar hopping or drinking in some other area.
And then you have to pay for the taxi to send them home after that. Or you can just hang out with them until morning. You pay them. You pay them the price of the drink. You invite them even for breakfast next day. And then you might if you are trusted and pay uh for the girls, you might actually take them somewhere else. or you might just pay them for the taxi price and they go home. I’m not quite sure. Anyway, we are between Akiabara and Asakawashi. Sorry, I am very honest explaining all the stuff here. Some people might find it, I don’t know, creepy or what, but I’m just telling the facts and information about night life in Japan. And we have a guest here. There’s a small one. City is not hiding properly. I can see the tail. Okay. And this Isakaya is open. and this full actually. So yeah, the cool fact about Japan is there are many places are open until morning. Apa Hotel Akiabara 195. Maybe you guys have said in here before. Let me check the chat. Oh, Brian, thank you very much, Brian. I have got to go now. Very proud of Jay and friends that helped reach the milestone today. Let’s do it again. Thank you very much, Brian. Sorry if I didn’t see this one a bit earlier if you left. Thanks a lot, Brian. WJ, please be honest. No problem. Thank you. Thank you. What? Yeah, I’m trying to explain everything about I love Japan, love this culture, really just respect it. But also there are a lot of mystery and secrets and hidden stuff in this country. I want to share it with you guys. So yeah. All right. So this is another we see this type of you know because Tokyo has too many lines train lines train truck everywhere. It’s if you see the map the route of the trains connecting different area in Tokyo you will be amazed. It’s like a maze. It’s too many lines in Tokyo. Too many station. It’s like I say, it’s the biggest city in the world with the surrounding area, the most populated, but every 10, 15 minutes you walk, there is a train station, there is a line, and a lot of them are like a subway under the ground. JR is above this the ground like this. And we have a lot of them in Tokyo like this. This type of bridge on the top is train is moving train. Under this truck is a lot of they use a space. Here is parking for example. A lot of other places they have isakaya for example in Shimbashi or earlier I showed you in Kanda. So yeah it’s really cool. And this bridge actually connect us from Akiawara to Asakusabashi. And from Asakusabashi there are many is a restaurant under the train under the truck. And somehow it’s really cool to drink and eat under the train truck. Some people might feel is noisy but after you get used to it and you know sometimes even it gives you a different feeling a different I don’t know different vibe for drinking now a lot of more closed now we are heading to Asakusashi area it’s 12:35 Five. Let me check the battery situation now. Okay. All right. I think not sure the battery how long battery you have. All right. Okay guys, we have 7% battery. The encoder battery can work for more than 1 hour, but the camera battery only works for maybe 10 minutes. So yeah, but that’s I think long enough. What is this? More paper blocks. So right now we are between Akiawara asi in front of us. Here you go straight you reach area. Now we are in title war different city in Tokyo. So under the train cart now is parking. Parking in Tokyo is very expensive. This way a lot of people don’t really own car because you can use train is much easier faster to use train. Every 15 minutes 200 yen. Every 15 minutes 200 yen. So every 15 minutes about $1.3. Expensive, right? Hotel all in Tokyo Sakawashi. Didn’t know about this hotel. Yeah, now we are actually on Sorry guys, we are on 3% now. So, we going to be we’re going to get cut in 3 minutes, maybe 5 minutes. So, I’m going to just keep it on until we are off. Queenlandery everywhere in Tokyo. Anyway, I’m going to say thank you to all of you guys. Special thanks to those that send super chat and also help me to reach the likes. Yeah, still I am because like I said I am my home is closed from here. Maybe 20 more minutes walk. So I can still keep walking for 20 more minutes. Let me check the last comments before we get caught. All right, guys. If you have any question, please let me know now. We got a few more minutes before the battery is off. I think we officially are on zero battery now. Any moment the camera is off. Thanks a lot guys. Hope you enjoyed and see you soon on the next live stream. Special thanks to Allen. And again, happy birthday, Brandon. And what? Thank you, Pedro. What is this? Just finished my drive. Thank you, J. Thank you, Alan. Glad you are safe back. Oh, and this this kebab is still open. Kebab, Turkish kebab is very popular in Japan. The battery still is working. We are technically on 0% but any seconds the camera is going to turn off. So thank you guys. All right guys, thank you very much again. Hope you enjoyed this live stream. Next live stream, Thursday night, 9:00 p.m. Japan time. Please check it out. And I’m just going to keep the live on until the battery is dead. And now actually we made it. We are in Asakawashi station. So if you go 5 minutes, we can reach Sumido River just in front of us. Now we are actually in Asakus Sabawashi area as you see Asakusashi station and the doors are shut. No more train. Asakabashi also is from here if you walk straight you can go you can reach Asakusa in 25 minutes. And there are many hotels in this area.

  1. Another great episode I had to mainly listen to while driving. I had a great day spent with Smiley Walk veteran Russell Mathis though. Talked a little about JE and Miley of course 🤣
