【驚愕】蒸気機関車が料理を運ぶレストランが想像以上にスゴかった!【レストラン蒸氣汽関車】
Introducing a unique restaurant where a model steam locomotive delivers meals! A 1/5-sized D51 delivers meals on the rails inside the restaurant. Enjoy until the end! We arrived in Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture. Cherry blossoms in full bloom. We came to Restaurant Steam Locomotive. Restaurant Steam Locomotive 24-2 Takaku Otsu, Nasu-machi, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture Business hours 10:00-19:00 Parking available. I wonder if this car is in use? It seems that unused train bodies are also displayed outside the restaurant. We arrived in front of the restaurant. The station sign has the words “steam locomotive”. It looks like a small station. We entered the restaurant. Ah! You can see the model steam locomotive! You can also see the station sign and rails. We went up the stairs to the second floor. If you can’t get a seat right away, it seems that you can play with toys in the waiting room so that your children won’t get bored. We were guided to “Sendai”. The seat has a “reserved seat” sign. The menu is mainly teppanyaki. There is also a drink menu. There is a children’s menu. You can check for allergies with the children’s menu. The beef for the teppanyaki seems to be made with local beef. You write your order by hand. When the red light flashes, the food has arrived. Please do not touch the rails or the locomotive as it is dangerous. I wonder if the space other than the table seats is set up as “unreserved seating”? Chairs for children are also available. A model locomotive runs on these rails and delivers meals. There is a locomotive in that place too. The starting station is Ueno Station. The next station is Utsunomiya. The locomotive waiting to depart. Wow, the locomotive is quite impressive when you see it up close! It seems that the train runs on a rapid service between Ueno and Utsunomiya. The locomotive has departed! There is a whistle and a conductor-like announcement, so it is quite authentic. Now, please enjoy the steam locomotive coming from a different angle! The customers at the table next to us are also watching with great interest. Wow, it’s here! It’s here! It’s exciting! Oh, there is a person in the driver’s seat. That’s a nice detail! The ordered meal has arrived. After receiving the meal, close the door. When the door is closed, the locomotive returns to its original position. Goodbye ~ The whistle was blowing when it returned. I ordered the Poppo-yaki set meal (lamb) and the steam set meal (beef) . The set meal comes with rice, miso soup, pickles, and tea. There is a train on it. Hot miso soup. The tea was served in a tea container that used to be sold at train stations, filled with hot water. It seems that the pattern is to put tea bags in this. I wait patiently until it is cooked to a good degree. By the way, the train tracks in the store even have traffic lights, which I thought was quite authentic. Things that are prohibited in the store. Not only touching the train, but also touching the tracks is prohibited. It seems that an order has come from another table. That announcement is great. The train running is a delight for both children and adults. This is definitely fun for both adults and children. I took a lot of pictures of the steam locomotive. I think it’s about time to take off the lid and start eating. The meat and vegetables are cooked nicely. We have prepared the yakiniku sauce and are ready to eat. First, we start with the lamb. We have the cabbage. What about the beef? The yakiniku makes the rice go down well. We change our mood a little by eating pickles… the locally produced beef is delicious. The lamb was also delicious with little odor. Miso soup. It’s time to have some tea. I’m full. Thank you for the meal. The tatami room seats on the second floor are quite spacious. It’s unique that each seat has a station name. After the meal, we order more. We ordered soft serve ice cream and iced coffee. Looking at the tracks with the steam locomotive model running on them, I think they are very well made. The additional menu we ordered comes again on the steam locomotive! It’s good to hear this whistle many times! Another angle. It ‘s here! We open the door and receive our additional order. We close the door… and go back… thank you, goodbye. The steam coming out is also a nice touch! The soft serve ice cream and coffee come with cups. You can take the cup home. I’ll have some soft serve ice cream. It’s perfect as a post-meal dessert. I finished my meal with an iced coffee. Thank you for the meal. This is a takeaway cup. It makes a good souvenir. Let’s check out the station names on the other seats. The one on the far right is Aomori. Sendai. Fukushima. Koriyama . Shirakawa . Kuroiso. Utsunomiya. And Ueno. It seems that this restaurant has been featured on various TV programs. There are lots of colored paper. There is a locomotive museum inside the restaurant, where you can see some of the exhibits. There are also locomotive models here. It must be difficult to collect all these models. There was also an exhibit of uniform caps donated by members of the public. Models of bullet trains and trains. Oh, I also found a train model on top. It’s amazing how many train models there are! This is a vehicle for children only. Hello, Thomas the Tank Engine. On this side, there are station signs and signs (boards attached to trains that display the destination and type of train). I’m impressed with how many they collect. I wonder if these exhibits include donations? Nickname versions of train names that are no longer in service? (I think that’s what they’re called?) (Hokutosei, Tsubasa, etc.) These locomotive models can be operated by putting money in. I put in 100 yen! Wow! It moved! It moved! It’s pretty fast when you see it up close. The models of stations and houses are also very well made! It’s so much fun! I’m on the first floor. Steam locomotive models are on display. The models are quite large when you look at them up close. They also seem to sell small souvenirs and toys. I also found the signatures of famous people behind the cash register. Former Prime Minister Koizumi also visited the store! I checked the station name sign from the first floor seats. Ueno is the same. Utsunomiya. Same here. It’s the same up to Kuroiso, but it’s Ikebukuro, Shinjuku! Different station names. Shibuya, Yurakucho Tokyo. Huh? Is the next stop the subway? It’s a mystery why it’s a subway line and it’s Ginza, Akasaka. There are quite a few seats on the first floor seats. I came back to the second floor. It seems that you can also move the Rocky (the model locomotive placed on top) if you pay a fee! Insert 100 yen! Ah! It’s moving, the locomotive has arrived! I’m totally back to my childhood lol It was so much fun! I recommend this restaurant. This would also be a good photo spot. Next to the restaurant is the Nasu Kids Playground Indoor Facility, where children can play on the playground equipment even on rainy days. Hmm? What is this? It’s said to be a good luck bridge. Beyond the bridge are many Jizo statues. After praying to the unique Jizo statue, we left the restaurant. Next, we head to Poppo Farm in Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture. Poppo Farm 1200 Katada, Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture Closed: Tuesdays Opening hours: Varies by season Admission fee: Free We came here to ride the mini steam locomotive. It seems to run every 15 minutes. You pay the fare for the mini steam locomotive at the office over there. The fare is 300 yen. The mini steam locomotive with passengers on board departs. Let’s wait for 15 minutes. The track is small, but it’s quite authentic. The mini steam locomotive has returned to the station. We boarded the mini steam locomotive. The seats look like this. There are curves. There is a railroad crossing like this on the way. We pass a station on the way. On the left is a grassy plain. It feels really good to ride the mini steam locomotive! On the right is a stream. It’s going faster than I expected. Can you see it? This mini steam locomotive can go around the entire park, and is the longest in Japan at about 1,200 meters. Where the staff member pointed, there was a bird! We cross a bridge. Beyond that, there are cherry trees in full bloom. So beautiful. We cross another bridge. This time we go through a tunnel. It’s fun – we found another bird. The grassland is covered with dandelion flowers. So beautiful. It was so much fun to return to my childhood again. Before I knew it, we were back at the station. I wonder if there are two mini steam locomotives? It seems that maintenance is also difficult. Apparently a mini Shinkansen used to run on it too. I wish I could have ridden it. Thank you for watching until the end. If you like it, please subscribe to the channel and give it a high rating.
