【ひとり旅】ロープウェイで気軽にアルプスの絶景を!🏔️ウィーンに行かないオーストリア旅 [チロル地方/古都インスブルック拠点] Vol.1🇦🇹

When the fresh green of May begins to show, I feel the pull of nature and the urge to travel. This year, I’ve taken some days off work and planned a six-day trip to Austria. I’ve never been to Vienna, so I did consider it. But while browsing travel blogs and watching videos, I discovered how beautiful the Alps in Austria are. For the first half of the trip, I’ll stay in the old town of Innsbruck and go walking in the mountains. Later, I’ll visit Hallstatt – a place I’ve wanted to see for years – known as the most beautiful lakeside village in the world. As we approach Innsbruck, the mountains grow rough and rugged outside the window, and their strength is moving. The airport is small and sits at the foot of the mountains, so the landscape greets you the moment you step off the plane. I take a bus into the city. But the airport isn’t far from the centre – it only takes about twenty minutes. I leave my luggage at the hostel first. Today, I’ll head to a small village that can still be enjoyed in the afternoon. Since I’m heading out just after arrival, I want some flexibility. So, I decide to buy my ticket at the station. I find a combined ticket for the train and bus – which is helpful and cheaper than buying individual tickets. I have about an hour before departure. I wander through the station and enjoy the quiet beginning of the trip. The train leaves at 13:20. After about fifty minutes, I transfer to a bus and ride for another twenty. I’m heading to a small, quiet village in the mountains: Alpbach. Innsbruck has twice hosted the Winter Olympics, and a ski jump stands just nearby – winter sports are part of the town’s life.(I plan to visit the jump on the day after tomorrow.) While I gaze at the scenery, the train ride passes quickly. But as we reach the station, the rain begins to pour. The sound of rain on the roof echoes like drums – loud and steady. Still, since I’ve come this far, I get on the bus anyway. As we draw closer to the village, the rain begins to ease. 👏 I get off the bus not in Alpbach itself, but further in, at Inneralpbach. From there, I follow a hiking path towards the village. These yellow signs show the way, so there’s little risk of getting lost. ☺ After climbing just a short way, the Alps open up in front of me. Far from a city like London, this is the nature I’ve been looking for. The village spreads through the valley, and strong peaks rise behind it – a sight I can’t help but admire. I walk for about an hour, taking in the view, and before I know it, I’ve reached Alpbach. It’s been named Austria’s most beautiful village and even Europe’s most beautiful flower village. The wooden houses, cared for and preserved by the locals, still show their old charm. Sadly, I’m here a bit too early for the best of the flowers – the balconies hold only a few. But in summer, bright red blossoms will spill over the railings. With flowers, houses, and mountains all together, the village must look like a picture book. Even without the full bloom, the chalet-style homes are still lovely. In the evening, I return to the hostel in Innsbruck to check in. There, I’m met with a pleasant surprise – a digital Welcome Card. With this card, local transport around Innsbruck becomes free, and discounts are offered at various attractions. The benefits vary depending on how long you stay. Since I’m here for three nights, I’m entitled to all the perks. So, I plan to make the most of this and enjoy my time in Innsbruck. 建物の多くが宿泊客用のロッジやペンションになっていて
あまり観光をするような場所ではないので、
インナーアルプバッハからのハイキングと合わせて訪問すると
より充実した時間を過ごせると思います☺

観光施設って言っても私はハイキングばかりしているし…
あ、でもスワロフスキー・クリスタルワールドは時間があったら行ってみたかったなぁ。
母親がこういうところ好きなので一緒に行きたいなと思っていました。

私はHappy Hourに行ったのでどちらにしろもう割り引かれている…
といった感じであまり活用できなかったのですが
