well as house DIY setups and Sarah also posts her cooking shorts on there please give us a subscribe we’re trying to grow the second channel and yeah thanks again for watching all right so we’re here in Latoya we’re about to go to Kyoto we’re riding the bullet train a quick like 30 minutes so we’ll see you guys in Kyoto are you there [Music] we’re in Kyoto so we’re in kind of the heart of Kyoto right now um we’re actually going to be staying at a unique inn called a matcha it’s a renovated Japanese wooden town home um but we’re checking in at a hotel that’s affiliated with it um yeah and hopefully they’re able to just hold on to our luggage until our check-in time mhm well know about luggage if you have a lot of luggage honestly use the Yamato Transport Service located throughout Japan they have offices everywhere or just get a taxi or something cuz it was hard to get through the station it was so crowded all right we have some time so we’re going to explore some shops nearby that we have put on our list dang look at this little shopping mall oh my gosh there’s like plants growing in the middle all the way up that’s so cool all right we’re at Travelers Factory Kyoto it’s a stationary shop stamp note some candles it’s a weighing machine you’re correct wink with a fortune my gosh all right we have just arrived at Archia it’s actually in a cute kind of like two different town home building the next door is actually a bakery called Bread Espresso but this is it it’s actually this one wow we have a bakery next door that’s so cool it’s going to be so helpful in the morning we just want to something quick to eat and Sarah’s unlocking the door right now quick tip if you guys have a lot of luggage definitely just taxi here it’s worth it especially because there’s no parking here wow look at this entrance oh my gosh little area where you can put all your shoes down and umbrella holder oh it’s so cool all right there’s the entrance you step in you should take off your shoes cuz it’s a tatami have some slippers down here yeah this is a bathroom or wash your head mhm ooh we have a humidifier oh my gosh that is so pretty wa oh my gosh it’s a hanoki tub it’s made from Japanese wood oh it’s pretty deep oh my gosh you could definitely fit at least two people in here look at that view oh my gosh there is a built-in garden in the middle of the whole house yeah cuz there’s a more heating device nice and then there’s little toilet room it’s a classic bedet oh my god it opens it opens wa this is the fancy Toto oh my gosh that’s sick dude this thing you can It’s one of those automatic bath setters so now it’s like filling up the bath cuz it told it to prepare the bath by like midnight so now it’s like warming it up and stuff so you can even do it in the morning if you wanted to what we got for amenities we have pajamas oh sick nice it’s like you cut towels toothbrush body towel hair dryer yeah cotton swabs oh this is the washer dryer with the washer so we can actually do laundry and they also give like a drying rack too hey let’s look all right i think that’s laundry detergent they already provided all right let’s see the rest of the house it’s like a little sitting area over here and they also have like books i mean a lot of books if you’re just bored and just want to read wow look at this oh my gosh you get your own little meditation personal space wow full-blown tree and yeah no it’s open you can probably feel the rain one of the rooms oh it’s going watch your head western style beds it looks like oh feel it okay wait blankets are fluffy you got to remember to close the doors or else you see someone taking a bath you got to remember to do it on both sides let me see what we got for beds here we got Looks like we have Oh USBC USBA nice nice and looks like we have a US style plug is this something oh okay it’s just a closet under the staircase harry Potter style yeah these Machia town houses are really steep but they’re recently renovated but here is kind of the coolest thing of the townhouse it is a whole kitchen dining area built in on the top you can overlook the garden right outside and then here is the kitchen um let’s see what we got i think they have enough for you to even cook your own meals yeah nice big sink stove top but then you also have the Japanese fish grill they’re built into a lot of traditional Japanese homes what we got under there got some like colanders cutting boards what is this oh they got nice convenient trash cleaning supplies stocks kitchen yeah ooh they gave us a lot of tea oh my gosh yeah cups and everything cups chopsticks bowls wow yeah you can definitely cook your own thing in here all right looks like they have a little toaster oven right here and pots and pans pots and pans it’s actually like pretty actually they have another oven in up here too this could probably double as like a microwave actually it’s kind of a fancy one too wow this is kind of like a mediumsiz fridge heavier fridge section no waters though but then they also have an ice section cool i mean yeah if you want to cook here in Kyoto which we might do one night this is a spot especially with dining table for four what we got oh is this the This is the other room traditional room nice if you want your traditional tatami mat room here in Kyoto this is pretty much it how is the futons i mean the blankets are really soft i like it soft futon i think if you’ve slept on the floor before you probably could take it there is a plug right over there in the corner us style plug two-prong little TV in the corner too oh you see this corner over here this is looks like storage i think they have like an iron iron and then oh nice we have actually have a second bathroom up here nice got a toilet up here only the toilet okay so in American this is pretty much uh one and a half bath in this townhouse all right and that was kind of the tour of our Kyoto Machia um I’ll throw the link in the description of the Booking.com link that we booked um we booked this one cuz this is right next to one of the major stations in Kyoto little bit of a hassle getting our um stuff checked in to the nearby hotel but then also getting our baggage here but honestly dude this is a cool experience yeah if like if you do not want to always stay in a hotel and want to experience something cool and unique to Kyoto I definitely think staying at a Kyoto matcha is the move all right we’re walking in our quaint little Kyoto neighborhood where our matcha is at it’s pretty much all like local residents and shops um we’re going to check out a local souvenir shop nearby all right so this is the Kyoto Benrito main branch i just found on Google Maps it’s like a stationary store this is their main branch i think they sell some stuff online too it’s so pretty dang it’s pretty cool [Music] some cool fans at here [Music] [Music] [Music] hey Allan I think you want this vending machine right here yeah you can’t do it if you’re under 20 dude insane dude in insane location dude we got beers on vending machine baby [Music] fresh bread it looks like a be a waiting list if you want to sit fresh Japanese bread so cool more fresh pastries and we got some for 2,140 yen i just had the matcha latte pot and it was really good that’s a honey lemon that’s good it’s so buttery here try my melon pond brown sugar brown sugar mhm nice [Music] [Music] [Music] french toast [Music] strawberry pistachio [Music] watch that um are we going to do any cute areas today all right we’re going to freshen up a bit and then we’re going to head off on our first real Kyoto adventure we’re going to travel out to Arashiamyama for a dinner reservation at an eel restaurant and meet up with our friends so see you guys in a bit it’s dinner time sush unagi wow all right what’ you think of dinner i think dinner was all right uh there was a ton of bones in the ether I got stuck in my teeth i just swallowed it yeah a bone got stuck in my teeth too that’s probably why they give you the toothpick i mean the eel itself is good and the rice it’s good too but not my Yep all right heading to the bridge [Music] we are at the bridge you can hear the water i look down Kyoto oh it always loses me like I run away oh my god every time I see her I’m like why that’s cute that is so cute i love that very cute walking back to the bamboo forest that night we can’t even see anything coffee place lit up but I don’t think it’s closed but it’s cool to see right next to the river openended open windows [Music] you hear the bamboo pov you’re in a Japanese whorg oh gosh i mean we keep going i don’t know where the entrance is i know i’m like oh you’re in Silent Hill the new one dude yeah dude there’s no one here ideal conditions they don’t have coke though why is it just a whole roll of red watermelon rebel that’s my flavor yo this is the light at the end of the tunnel the key vending machine i don’t think I can see anything on this camera time to go back it’s too dark oh my god visible [Music] on that road during the day [Music] all right I’m going head back now true dedicated photographer all right you got like two seconds oh the waifuss at the kimono forest oh it’s a good picture spot wow i’m not sure [Music] it is i love that it’s just at the station oh so cool so lit up at night so cool yeah it’s just off the station mhm it’s photo time exit 8 looking like dungeon [Music] all right one last morning one last bread espresso and their merch line your last chance all right what bread do we have today i want to try i think this row is always the same every morning yeah sesame that looks good yeah oh they have eco bread bags it’s awesome i just want a random bread bag yeah i think this side kind of rotates every day should we try the cream sure if I can give me the cream bread i want to try the cream this one yeah and then let me see m I want to try one of the cheeses which one do you think looks the best nice 2920 last breakfast here okay one last breakfast all right from bread espresso and what do we have we got the hoji cha latte a honeylemon tea again mhm the curry bread we don’t know what this is it has some like cheese and like um it looks like maybe some veggies inside and ham this one was like a black sesame bread and this one was some kind of cream yeah we thought it was an egg but it’s probably a cream bread all right give each one a shot yeah the oji cha latte first oh it’s so good i got the matcha latte last time and this one’s just like a more of like a roasted flavor mhm i’m going to try this cheese sandwich mhm it’s potato on top oh I thought that was like cheese it’s potato and then cheese ooh that’s so interesting i never thought about putting potato on top of a sandwich yeah and it’s like I don’t know what veggie this is and then it’s ham m nice curry bread it’s still like a little bit warm so I think this one was like a more recent let’s open the cross section oh there’s a lot of air inside ooh look at that fluffy so good smells it i can smell it from here yeah taste test m i like it it’s a little more flavorful okay it’s probably homemade black sesame there’s some kind of like crumb oh there’s stuff inside ooh interesting it was like a soybean thing mhm m i like it it’s like nutty but like sugary cuz of this crumble on top mhm the top is like a ball pile yeah shaped like it too oh I didn’t get the cream m i like it so good m honey lemon is always good especially when you’re feeling a little bit sick they actually put so strong of a lemon flavor in here it’s really good like two slices of like thickly cut lemon i know it’s so good all right we’re going to enjoy this last breakfast here and this morning in Kyoto thank you guys for watching and yeah stay tuned for more Japan adventures mhm one last microwave he literally grossed me on his slumber last night when I turned on the microwave [Laughter] checking out of our accommodation now okay we have so much luggage going to use Yamato transport to transport all this all right the closest Yamato transport this one actually does luggage storage too but we use them to ship to our the closest Yamato at Osaka so that we can have them hold it while we’re staying in Kinosaki just make sure you bring cash cuz it’s cash only mhm and use Google Translate cuz it helps a lot and have the address of where you want to ship it to ready and be sure to pack everything beforehand and make sure you’re ready to ship [Music]
