アウラニ・ディズニー・リゾート内|完全ガイド、レビュー、滞在のヒント
hey everybody welcome back to another Jackson Jet setting resort review today we’re excited to bring you a full tour of Olani a Disney resort and spa located on the island of Oahu it’s located on the west side of the island in the Coina development it’s surrounded by a number of other resorts and it’s primarily a DVC property so it’s a time share based system here but you can rent rooms as a regular guest as well and so while there are no traditional Disney attractions like you’d find at Disneyland or Walt Disney World there’s still tons to do on a family vacation here so we’re going to explore the full property check out a three-bedroom villa here and show you as much as I possibly can at the resort but before we do if you enjoy this video feel free to give us a like and subscribe to the channel we do resort tours all around the world and the whole goal of this channel is to help you plan a better vacation hopefully saving you time money and just getting exactly what you want out of your time away from home so we’re walking into Alani from the public pathway here at Coalina i really do like that they have this pathway because it’s fun to walk around and see some of the other resorts here it’s good to get your steps in as well while on vacation i really like how Alani is designed here so the public pathway is going to be in between the resort and the beach area over here on the right are going to be a few tiered beach chair options available as well as the Amma Amma fine dining restaurant we didn’t get a chance to eat there on this trip but we did on our first trip over to Alania a number of years ago and it was really fantastic now one nice thing about Alani is that they do not charge a resort fee though room rates are going to be a little bit higher than what you’re used to here in Hawaii given that it is Disney it’s got all the Disney theming and an incredible pool complex that we’ll show you in just a bit i do think that the property is worth it as a shorter trip as part of a larger trip to Hawaii uh if you’re here for seven nights you may want to be exploring other places around the island or maybe going to a different island uh but there are a lot of things to do here for a three to four night trip I would say is kind of the sweet spot the property offers beach rentals so you can rent paddle boards kayaks it’s got a really nicely protected beach area and ocean area because it was constructed for this resort complex uh so you’re blocked from a lot of the ocean waves and things like that that you might see over on Wy Ki making it really great for that paddle board experience little Opis sells beach snacks Dole Whips that sort of thing so it’s located right on the main pathway there and then you can grab a beach chair it’s first come first serve but the service really great down on the beach and there are also a few infinity pools that overlook the ocean some hot tubs things like that just a really incredibly designed resort joe Rodie who designed all of Disney’s Animal Kingdom one of the classic best Imagineers out there designed this whole resort and you can tell a lot of the design similarities here everything feels very very organic it’s just really incredible classic Disney now we’re coming up on the W Koki Valley pool area so this is going to be the main center point of the resort it’s located in between the two towers so you have a number of different just casual swimming areas zero entry pool as you can see and this is all connected with an awesome lazy river as well as two water slides within that mountain they also have a slide here the volcanic vertical and that’s definitely one of the highlights of the resort here’s a look at that infinity pool overlooking the ocean great sunset views there and since this is Disney be sure to look out for hidden details in the rocks i love that this is kind of like Disney’s Animal Kingdom with the tree of life you have these hidden animals in the rock we’re heading over to Kai Maka Grotto here so this is a smaller pool area a little bit more relaxing it’s got this really cool overhang and at night there’s fiber optics and things like that so there’s a lot of cool hidden gems here at Alani so if you want a bigger pool experience with a few more beach views than the other pools this is going to be your pick alani gives out wristbands to its guests because there is that public pathway so anyone can kind of walk in anyone can dine at the restaurants here at Alani you don’t have to be staying here so maybe you’re watching this video just curious because you’re staying next door at the Four Seasons or maybe the Marriott time chairs down the way for the younger kids there’s a splash area here with uh different fountains that are popping up at random times just really cute here it’s also part of the theme everything here perfect Disney i’m going to say that a lot of times in this video just a really beautifully designed resort so now we’ll continue walking over towards Off the Hook which is going to be the main pool restaurant here at Alani they’re going to have Mickey waffles and things like that in the morning and then you’ll have your burgers French fries that sort of stuff during the day and then there’s a full bar as well for the older adults the entrance to Amma is over there to the right as well and then the taller hut is going to be off the hook if you’re interested in saving money on your next vacation to Hawaii I’ve partnered with Financebuds who’ve chosen the best credit cards from their trusted partners to ensure you’re not leaving valuable rewards on the table or paying more for travel than you have to visit jackjetsetting.com/cards or click the link below to learn more there are two slides available here at Alani and one’s going to be a body slide one is going to be tubes you can ride in a single or a double tube here there’s also a kids club available called Auntie’s Beach House so they’ll have activities for the kids throughout the day they’ll have tons of organized things kids absolutely love it of course and outside of that they have the Mini Hoon Adventure Trail which are really really fun it’s similar to some experiences that they have over at Walt Disney World where uh your discovery kind of triggers different events throughout the resort because the mini hoon have taken over the whole resort it’s a part of Hawaiian culture and uh there’s just fun little things that you can trigger um with an iPad that they provide and of course there is lots of Stitch spread out throughout the resort given that that story is set here in Hawaii but that lazy river is going to basically flow all the way down to the pool that we just passed and almost all the way up to the main lobby area so it is definitely a long lazy river lots of fountains and different experiences along the river as well and it’s a continuous loop so you can just do that all day if you wanted um and then of course you can hop out grab some food or head to one of the water slides two pathways on either side of the pool complex that kind of line right around uh the two different hotel towers to the right here is the Ewa tower and the other tower is the Wane Tower there just so many great moments throughout the resort that encourages you to stop and look at some of the details there’s even a koi pond that has islands that are sticking out of it that if you actually observe it it’s the Hawaiian islands themselves it’s just really really rich detail throughout this resort that Joe Rodie and the team over at Imagineering did an incredible job of lots of hot tubs spread out some hidden ones so you can always find despite how big this resort is a couple places to escape from the crowds and just enjoy nature or at least nature that Disney created here now one bummer about our stay is that the Mini Hoon Bridge which is designed for kids under 48 in tall uh was closed for refurbishment it’s about 2100 square f feet it does feature two smaller water slides lots of water elements and spinning gourds and things like that uh the kids have a blast with this and so it was under refurbishment it is open now by the time that this video posts but uh it was a little bit of a bummer for us but no big deal didn’t absolutely ruin the time here of course and of course because this is a Disney resort you are going to want to stop and maybe observe some of the details around because uh there may be a familiar face standing around perhaps with a line uh because we did see Minnie Mouse meeting guests hopped in line for that that was really fun they do have photo pass photographers that uh it works with your Disneyland app because we are closest to Disneyland and so that’s where you can get those digital photos and download those they have photo packages of course and we saw Mickey Mouse walking over to dinner as well uh lots of little cultural areas they have um some cultural exhibits throughout the resort that you can uh learn a little bit more about the culture that you are experiencing here in Hawaii and now we’ll walk into the main building here and check out some of the restaurants shops things like that makahiki is going to have a prefixed dinner menu three courses uh it’s going to be open for breakfast as well um so that’s going to be an option for you it’s on the ground floor really beautiful restaurant though lots of bright colors it’s going to be mostly indoors um they do have uh some outdoor seating as well and then there’s also the Olelo room which is where we had dinner uh it’s outdoors mostly there is a cool little bar area inside uh but it’s just a really great spot to uh just enjoy the resort surroundings we were there at sunset um it’s basically like a woodworking shop it seems like the theme is and just really a excellent menu i had the Poké Ball which was one of the best Poké Balls of the entire trip it is a little expensive uh but you do get that nice Disney theming like Disney chopsticks uh delicious sushi that my wife had of course the wasabi in Mickey shape there look at my Poké Ball it’s going to be mostly appetizers and things like that but of course they do have a nice cocktail list as well now upstairs is going to be the main lobby uh this is a big big focal point of the resort it’s going to be similar to those soaring lobbies that you see maybe at Disney’s Grand Californian or Wilderness Lodge over at Walt Disney World uh but maybe on a little bit smaller scale uh it’s it’s definitely in that design style though lots of Hawaiian influence of course uh they really just tried to make it as Hawaiian as possible while still having it distinctly Disney hale Manu is a bird themed shop here on this level really pretty on the inside there lots of mini hoon spread throughout the resort as well and then uh there is another shop on the main level here and it’s Kalpa store that’s going to be your main like logo shop lots of the Alwani souvenirs that you want to take home bring home to your family uh but this main lobby is just absolutely gorgeous great ocean views great views of the pool area and it’s just a great thing to set off your vacation right um so definitely talk to some of the cast members about the art all around there’s so many details here uh that it’s really hard to capture all of it uh in this video so you just have to go and see it for yourself so I am going to take you down to the pool area again it was nighttime when I was shooting a lot of this side of the pool area but it’s really really beautiful it’s fun to capture the resort a little bit at night uh so that sunset view you just really uh should not miss that on any night of your Hawaiian vacation definitely be properly set up with a nice drink and some good family and food and uh just enjoy the majesty of the Hawaiian Islands here uh but moving down to the pool area the pool stays open relatively late uh you can still access the lazy river and things at night uh those hours I think change a little bit um but it’s just really beautiful just to walk through here of course they do have a luau several nights a week we weren’t able to participate in that um but that is Disney run so you do want to check that out if you’ve never been to a luau here on islands we’ve been to a lot of luau and uh some are a little bit cheaper than others especially one run by Disney so um if you’re looking to just have like a convenient luau with like a big Disney influence then this is definitely the one for you there is a rainbow reef which is a cool extra charge experience here uh that actually has fish and a full saltwater pool and it’s a little bit more calm of a snorkel experience for people that maybe are a little afraid of the open ocean so that’s available right here and then the Ulu Cafe is going to be your cafeteria style restaurant here in this tower uh this is going to be a good option for that graband- go food those quick drinks uh different you know quicker items um that maybe you just want to go take down to the beach you can definitely do that and there is a spa on property as well as a full gym that you can access uh so the gym is obviously complimentary the spa is going to have some extra charge activities didn’t have a chance to check out the spa but the Mimi Miki Fitness Center I did uh so just a brief little awkward shot here inside of the gym just to feature what they do have very sizable gym though uh plenty of options they have fitness classes and things like that yoga on the beach all the things that you expect from a Hawaiian vacation uh so now let’s check out the three-bedroom villa here uh so these are bookable with DVC points you can also rent them if they’re not booked up uh just with cash but uh you’re going to probably want to book these well far in advance if you have access to DVC points or maybe renting points from a family member uh but it’s absolutely massive space here fits a lot of guests all in one room beautiful views of the pool area here lovely living room space with television open kitchen concept with bar seating all of the amenities that you would expect from a kitchen at home like uh refrigerator full refrigerator all your cooking appliances uh all the pots pans all that stuff dishwasher that’s all available here all high-end equipment as well so if you do want to do a little bit of cooking this is a good way to save money on a Hawaiian vacation because the food is quite expensive there’s grocery stores nearby um if you are staying on DVC points there’s no charge for parking um but if you are not a DVC member you are going to be paying for parking which can definitely add up full washer dryer multiple entrances to the suite as well and because these can kind of get blocked off and diced up into uh you know different bedroom arrangements if you don’t need the full three bedrooms there are some longer hallways here uh just allowing you to be able to um or at least Disney being able to break up the space a little bit um but yeah there are different access points to the suite which is pretty cool you can have a little secret entrance here now we’ll check out the main bedroom here as well as the master bathroom and then the other two bedrooms are going to be located on this side of the living room we will end our tour on this absolutely massive lenai i think definitely a highlight of the three-bedroom experience here uh but thanks a lot for watching we will see you on the next resort tour here at Jackson Jet Setting
