We aim to be a sustainable hotel that is kind to people and the earth. Arrive at the hotel. Parking is free. EM Wellness Living’s Fermented Lifestyle Resort Approximately 10 minutes by car from Kitanakagusuku IC. Total number of rooms: 195 Parking available Large public bath available. This building was completed in January 1972. Formerly known as the Okinawa Hilton, it was said to be Okinawa’s No. 1 modern hotel at the time. The entrance approach gives you a resort feel. There is also a driveway in front of the entrance. What you can see over there is the spa building with a large public bath. Let’s go inside. Amenities were placed at the reception. The lobby is large. There was a lifestyle store that suggested healthy living. A store that proposes a total healthy lifestyle including food, clothing, and shelter. Various things were on sale. Own brand cosmetics, etc. Yachimun and other items were also placed there. We also operate our own farm. Eggs and vegetables are also sold. There was also a liquor corner. And right next to it is Living Fermentation DELI&CAFE. There were snacks and sweets lined up. We also sell bread! . The terrace! . It looks nice on a day when the weather is nice (^^). Fermented ingredients were also lined up. Let’s take a look deeper. There’s a couch here. Below this is “BAR Hoshi no Niwa”. The night view looks very beautiful. There are restaurants on both sides. This will also be our breakfast venue tomorrow. The objects create a resort feel. There is also a studio and library. A workshop is being held. We have now finished introducing the facilities of the main building. I’m heading to my room. wide! . The area around the elevator hall is wide. Water server. The bathtub is spacious and comfortable. I’m 173cm. This is what it looks like when you enter. Facilities include a hand shower and a clothesline. Shampoo, conditioner body soap. It’s a shower curtain. The toilet is a shower toilet with a washing machine. The function is like this. There are various types of rooms other than the ones introduced here. Single rooms perfect for solo travelers. “Yukuru” has the warmth of Ryukyu tatami and the relaxing feeling of a Japanese-style room. We have a variety of room types to suit your travel needs. Breakfast is buffet style so let’s take a look. Let’s start from here. It’s salad around here. Okinawa Nuchigusui are lined up around here. I want to drink milk from Tamaki Farm (^^). Standard Western food is lined up around here. The bread is homemade. Made with 100% butter, cane sugar, and free-range eggs from our own farm. Curry is additive-free curry. The “Nuchigusui (life medicine)” corner, a traditional Okinawan longevity dish, is great. A healthy menu centered around seaweed and island vegetables. It seems like they are particular about the seasonings. I would like to try using salted koji butter, which has the flavor of salted koji. And then there are the drinks. They have homemade smoothies. Iced coffee. Sanpin tea, Shikuwasa. We have Japanese black tea and Sencha. There was also ice cream. I’ve taken a lot of things! . Looks good for your body! . Nuchigusui is said to be a menu that has been passed down from Kitanakagusuku Village, which has the longest female longevity in Japan. Free-range healthy scrambled eggs from our own farm. Fermented roast ham that brings out the flavor with the power of koji. Fermented keema curry. Homemade bread. Salt koji butter, coffee butter and jam. I got Tamaki milk and clam chowder. My stomach hurt from eating and drinking the previous day. After eating this breakfast, I felt refreshed (^^). The milk was thick and rich. The overall taste is also mild. Health is taken into consideration. The Nuchigusui was especially healthy and delicious (^^). Directly managed farm “Sunshine Farm”. Focusing on organically grown vegetables, drug-free and cage-free eggs, and local ingredients. Fresh ingredients have been further upgraded using the power of fermentation. We are particular about handmade dishes under the direction of our executive chef who is certified as a “Ryukyu Cuisine Traditionist”. It has been created with a lot of time and effort. The bread with salted koji butter was also very delicious. Another strength of this hotel is that it has its own farm. There is a circulation system between the farm and the hotel. Ferment leftover food and garbage with EM (useful microorganisms). It is used as fertilizer on farms. Ice cream for dessert. The breakfast was delicious and nutritionally balanced.
