A Beautiful yet Fleeting Journey through the Mt. Fuji Area at the End of Spring | JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG
Good morning everyone, this is Mona😊 This time, I’m going out by car for the first time in a while! I’m going on a one-night, two-day trip to the beautiful Mt. Fuji area, where spring still lingers. I’m blessed with good weather, and I’m all set♡ I can start to see Mt. Fuji in the distance🗻 I have gotten off the highway. The fresh green leaves are beautiful💚 Once I get out of the tunnel, I’m at Lake Kawaguchi! I’ll soon be approaching the Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. This is my favorite magnificent spot. Wow, it’s awesome view😍 This view lifts my spirits! The Mt. Fuji area is very popular, so it’s been very crowded lately. I’m heading to a relatively quiet, hidden gem of an area. This is a beautiful place with late-blooming weeping cherry blossoms🌸 It’s a little past full bloom, but the cherry blossoms falling are also very charming. Thatched-roof houses, cherry blossoms, and Mt. Fuji. It’s a beautiful, original Japanese landscape. Let’s take a walk. Let’s take a short break. The interior of the shop has a retro and warm atmosphere. Wow, how gorgeous♡ The matcha has a bitter taste, so it will go well with Japanese sweets dumpling balls. I’m also glad that there is a Kotatsu (Japanese heated table). The Dango (dumpling balls) were soft and I was able to enjoy various flavors. Now, let’s head to my next destination. This is a natural cave formed by lava flows from the eruption of Mt. Fuji. The temperature inside the cave is said to be 0℃ to 4℃ throughout the year. A forest extends around the cave. Let’s go! Oh, it’s cold! It’s still the entrance to the cave, but it’s extremely cold. It smells of adventure😆 The ceiling height here is only 91cm. I can’t get through unless I crouch down. This is a deep hole called the Hell Hole. According to legend, this hole is said to continue to the cave in Enoshima Island. Wow, this area is covered in ice! These are natural ice pillars. It’s so fantastic✨ This is a commercial facility that opened in 2022. There are many local specialties lined up. It looks like a good place to buy souvenirs. I’m a little hungry. Let’s eat something. When it comes to Yamanashi, it’s definitely Hoto(local noodle food)! It tastes like Peperoncino. Now I’m heading to today’s hotel. I pass through an area bustling with tourists. Then I head to a residential area. This is a hotel that just opened in April 2025. It is a villa-type accommodation rented out as an entire building. Apparently, you can see Mt. Fuji from all the buildings. Let’s start from the first floor. There is a wide range of drink service. I can also feel the attention to detail in the amenities. Next, let’s go to the second floor. Wow, this is nice♡ This seems to be a theater room. You can enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji from the bathroom on the second floor. There are also two toilets. Finally, I head to the rooftop terrace. Wow, what a magnificent view🥰 It looks like I’ll be able to spend a luxurious time. Let’s have dinner. Cheers🍻 I will have Sukiyaki made with local chicken. This time I’m staying with two people, but I think this hotel is also good for families and groups. I think I’ll relax a bit and then go to bed. Good night😉 Good morning! It’s a very refreshing morning♡ The weather is perfect, so let’s go out after breakfast. It’s a very peaceful holiday. Wow, it’s like a pink carpet all over🩷 This is a springtime feature in the Mt. Fuji area. Let’s go up to the observation deck. It was a colorful spring walk. I have arrived at another popular spot. Since I’m here, l will walk along Lake Kawaguchi. This is a place where you can enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. It’s also a famous flower spot where beautiful flowers bloom in every season. However, there’s one problem… It’s too crowded! There’s also a long line at the cafe in the park. Let’s avoid crowds. This is a commercial facility where you can enjoy food and shopping. This facility is relatively empty, probably because it’s located at the back of the park and hard to notice🫶 Wow, what a lovely store interior♡ I can’t decide what to get. I think I’ll get a drink. You can add the amount of black sugar syrup to your liking. The sweetness is mild, and the Kinako (soybean flour) flavor is really strong! This channel brings you unique travel experiences in Japan. Wonderful video. My son and I visited Kawaguchiko in April. I rented a car for us so we could travel to Oshino Hakkai and around the lakes. We didn't make it to the ice cave unfortunately, but we did manage to drive up to the 4th station on Mt Fuji itself. Absolutely stunning place. Want to go back next year!
Peace and serenity. Your videos are truly beautiful, they are the best medicine. Thank you ❤
I have already been 3 times in Japan. And I can't get enough. I love this country. It is unique in every way. There is still so much to recover.
My son lived there for a year and he speaks the language. I envy him 😂
Another beautiful video. I will never tire of seeing Fuji-san towering majestically over the landscape. Thanks for introducing The Toki hotel. Love its vibes and the stunning views. Such a peaceful place to recharge and rejuvenate. Making mental note to stay there when I’m next in Japan.

My wife and I really enjoy watching your travel videos. We won't be going there because we don't want to increase the tourist crowds. We know the effects of mass tourism ourselves. Yesterday, there was a 45km-long traffic jam of vacationers on the highway near us.
Really loved your videos, so pleasant to watch, am so glad i found your channel
