Barcelona vlog🇪🇸🥘#3 Sagrada Familia sightseeing DAY!

Hello! I’m Suzu, who lives in Switzerland. Today is the day to enjoy Sagrada Familia . First, I’ll take the train to the hill with a spectacular view. I’ll get off at Alfons X station and start climbing. I’ll do my best to get to the spectacular view…! It takes about 20 minutes to climb, but it’s quite steep and harder than I thought… Finally, I can see my destination… I’m tired… I can see the whole of Barcelona! Looking at it like this, you can see that the area is neatly arranged around Sagrada Familia . On the other side is the neighboring town of Badalona. The city surrounded by mountains is also beautiful. Now, let’s head to the lunch venue. I’ve made a reservation at a restaurant to eat delicious paella . Paella can be ordered for two people or more, and it takes 30 minutes. Here it is! Squid ink paella♡ It’s full of seafood…! Why is Spanish paella so delicious? The rice is just the right firmness, and you can taste the deliciousness of the squid ink. The seafood includes shrimp, squid, shellfish, and various other seafood. The portion is large, but I ate it all up in a flash. The other dish is roasted pork, which is cooked to perfection… I still sometimes make pork too hard when I cook it . Finally, we arrived. Sagrada Familia!!! This is my third time here, and I am always moved every time I see it. Construction began in 1882 , and the main tower is scheduled to be completed next year in 2026. The interior is a fantastic space with light streaming in . The stained glass inside looks very different in the morning and at night. In the morning, the stained glass on the east side (the Nativity facade) receives sunlight, and refreshing green and blue light streams in, creating a solemn and quiet atmosphere. In the afternoon, the western side (Passion facade) is lit by the setting sun, painting it a fiery yellow, creating a mysterious space. Gaudi expresses “life” and “death” through color and light. The ceiling is an original design inspired by the image of a “forest”. Gaudi is truly amazing… This time, we will climb to the Passion facade. We waited for the elevator for about 20 minutes. We received a brief explanation in the elevator. It was interesting to see the construction up close! The tile mosaic at the tip of the tower is right in front of us…! The overall concept was designed by Gaudi, but I wonder how much of it he designed… We came to the observation deck. You can enjoy a 360-degree view from the line of sight of the enshrined Christ. The other side is also a steep descent, but if you look at the view from the window, it will go by in an instant. You can stop and enjoy the various appearances many times. Wow, a hole that looks like it could fit a person through… Finally, we admired the Passion facade side and headed home… We walked a total of 63,000 steps in three days…!! We picked up our luggage at the hotel. He asked me if I wanted to use the restroom… This was the first time I’ve been considerate since moving to Switzerland. We also took the Aerobus on the way back. Please note that the bus you take will change depending on the terminal. We wanted to go to Terminal 2, so we took this one! It runs every 5-10 minutes, so it’s convenient. There was an outlet that I couldn’t charge my phone on the way to the airport or back while looking at the Spanish Steps … We arrived at the airport and walked to T2C (maybe we could have taken the bus there…). Most of the counters and planes in T2C were easyjet, so I thought it was only for easyJet! (lol) I literally ate so much that I got an upset stomach, so only my husband had pad thai that wasn’t even served on his dinner plate, and it cost 14€ (over 2,000 yen…). We ate and walked around, and at the end we got sick, but it was still a trip that I can say was the most fun.

Hello, I’m Suzu, living in Switzerland! I am Suzu, living in Switzerland🌷.
On our last day, we are finally going to visit the Sagrada Familia.
Although Bunkers Hill offers a great view of the city of Barcelona,
If you are going to climb it on foot, please be sure to be enthusiastic…
