The temperature is nice today, but it’s still bright even at 6 o’clock this season, so I really wanted to take a picture of the scorching sun, but that’s not possible. This is the sandy beach, and the lighting here is made by a lighting designer called Motoko Ito , and there is a proper slope and stairs as well. However, in the summer it gets really crowded, and at the very back there is an athletic facility on the sea, but it is not yet complete, so right now it is in the preparation stage, and from July I believe there are no beach houses, so the showers are free and you have to use the water to get rid of the sand, and if you are staying at a hotel nearby I think there are showers at the hotel, and outside there are fireworks and things like that written on it, but that’s not true. In the summer, everyone comes here and uses fireworks that they bought from convenience stores and such, and it is a really great place, so please get rid of them, and then I think you can see the island, the breakwater over there, the fireworks will go up, so it’s good to see it from the search, but it’s a bit diagonal , so further to the right there is the boat dock on the other side of Jonathan, and that might be the best place, but look, they’re doing construction there now, there’s quite a bit of hotel, um, what you can see now is the Pearl Star Hotel, called the Maehara Room, originally, um, a commercial facility and condominium were supposed to be built, but the bubble burst and construction stopped , so a Chinese person bought it and built it, but when it was about to open, COVID hit , and it was delayed by another 122 years, so it opened, and the hotel next to it is La Vista, but when will La Vista open, um, I think it will probably open around the end of this year, it’s quiet today, so there are quite a lot of people here, there are still people, it’s Sunday night, evening, but there are surprisingly many people, I was surprised, this is also a parking lot, but this parking lot fills up quickly, it’s C’s parking lot, The parking lots are probably all the same price, and if you go up the middle here there is a square, which is quite interesting, but Atami is a beach town, and since there are no beach houses, you buy food at convenience stores, but there are so many convenience stores that it gets very crowded. There is a Lawson over there and a 7-Eleven over here, which is apparently one of the top-selling stores in Shizuoka Prefecture, so you might want to buy something there. They do something special outside, and at the event they had Segways and stuff, but I don’t know where it is, but this is about halfway up, and now wait a minute there is the Jacaranda U Walkway, which is the sea, and this is up to here. There are about two trains per hour on the Ito Line, so if you walk from here, it’s close to where you can take the train. The parking lot here fills up quickly, so I think it might be best to take the train. If you come by car, there is a parking lot around here, so you can park there or you can use the parking lot at Kimiya Shrine. However, the parking lot at the shrine fills up quickly. Oaks is famous, isn’t it? The female spirit is 2500 years old, and during the plum season it’s a garden for sale, and now the firefly festival is being held at the Bai Garden. It’s a nice place for a stroll, and then there’s the keyboard, and I think it’s only held once on Saturdays and Sundays, and there are still about 70 people there, and during the Atami cherry blossom season, this Itokawa area is beautiful, and the Atami cherry blossoms are bitter, and now there’s Oyamamatsu, and there’s Kiunkaku, and it’s a place where people like Uchizakura-san used to come and visit, and Fujitani Hotel is Atami Silver.
