the world you’ve probably never heard of Chongqing! It’s massive, viral and absolutely insane But is it also the world’s coolest city? I spent two days diving deep to find out Hello and welcome to my channel So I always thought the biggest city in the world is Tokyo in Japan But actually no The biggest one is this one Chongqing in China By the population it’s bigger than Australia, Chile and 
Sri Lanka And by the size, approximately as big as Austria Today I’m going to show you this huge city Right now we are on the 33rd floor This city is located in the middle of the mountains and floors, stories, levels, It’s a different game here Let’s start with my studio apartment It’s pretty dope Highlight of that place is this bathtub with a view By now you probably think I’m rich, and this place 
is $200 a night No I’m not rich, And for this apartment I’m paying $21 a night Even though it’s the largest city in the world, futuristic, is very affordable which makes me extremely happy Let’s start exploring No numbers on the doors Maybe this one is a number This place from the outside looks like an ordinary apartment building Actually inside there are multiple hotels, restaurants, 
all kind of services Only on my floor, there are two different hotels Reception of my hotel is actually three floors below Waiting for the elevator, sometimes can take up to 10 minutes And the stair system here is also wicked It’s like a maze Finally my reception Receptionist told me that she will wash my clothes for free Commercials in the elevator is a Chinese classic So I live in the city center I mean probably one of 100 other city centers in this city Skyscrapers are popping out like mushrooms after the rain This one, you see? there is a crane on the rooftop They are working on this one 24/7 And this is the Chongqing Time Square But I’m going to show you this one 
later, because it looks amazing in the night It seems like we are on the ground floor, but probably we are not You need to keep your eyes open because the second 
city is somewhere there For example here on that very busy street is one of the 
cheapest supermarkets You can buy the local lunch Art and architecture Those two things are very unique in that city This is a rock, That’s a zipper, And we have some fruits inside here For instance, Spain The building behind me is Chongqing Art Museum This building is wicked, And I heard that the inspiration for that construction were the chopsticks You see? same for you It’s a gift In every corner you will find some interesting stores, restaurants, cafes unique squares, This one is a cat plaza You cannot touch If you will look just a little bit deeper, you will see the back 
streets Those are the places for the locals And before Chinese had hot water in their houses they have a public tiger stoves, where they could supply the hot water bring it to their houses Those places were also a spots to meet, have a tea, and talk about the weather Today the weather is brilliant and it’s not every day like that So this city is also called a foggy city because it has around 100 days of fog per year On every corner you can find some street food even the bread, which I miss every day Big orange So the floors.. Yesterday I went to this hospital I thought I’m in the ground floor, but it turned out that actually I’m on the 9th floor So I just walked one more floor up and there is a temple and a very decent looking plaza So it looks like we are on the ground floor, right? wrong Somehow I teleported, and suddenly I’m on 
the 22nd floor Each building has a different calculations for those floors depending on where we are Yeah, it might be very confusing There is a “no singing” in the metro, sign So right now I’m in the metro station and taking only this yellow line, takes 2 hours I’m normal One ticket to Liziba Yeah Thank you Got my money, my ticket We have to go through the security check like on the airport I give up, I give up They know I’m good, So they didn’t even check me out To get to the next location I had to take the

Wow, it’s endless So last time I checked, in Chongqing there are 11 lines of subway and 304 metro stations I mean, maybe today is more Everything is in English where I need to transfer to 18 That’s a very convenient system #matching beautiful Some places in that town are very busy, and some are not I’m enjoying the moment I like this area It’s European city I don’t know if this shopping mall is partly abandoned, or.. that is pretty weird Abandoned city I wanted to take you to this bookstore which supposed to be here, but it’s apparently closed as most of the stores in the European city If you know the reason, let me know why in the comments And when you’re in Chongqing, forget Western food everything this one is Sichuan pepper It’s spicy They add it to every single dish in here For me it’s good because I like spicy The important part is, you need to mix the noodles If you try to eat it without mixing, they will take your bowl and mix it for you It looks like this The noodle are served cold and you have all the flavors you have ever imagined inside of this And in the end there is a pure oil I think average Chinese person is drinking at least one liter of oil per week Takes few minutes to clean your mouth from the oil Eight Seven Seven Eight It was, It was good Easy to eat, fast, $1 meal Getting a Chinese Pepsi And the popular flavor of Lays here, is fresh cucumber I tried it, It’s very good Actually he might look like a baby, but he’s actually

a cover charge which means you have to pay for this seat but you have a tea and the snacks included And of course, this view So it is officially confirmed China is not using the paper money anymore I got my change It took them few minutes, but yeah that’s a lot of snacks but I respect my money, so I will finish it all The sunset was not the best one, but the view is For the lower deck I paid $9 The upper one is $12 But it’s basically the same In my opinion, the experience is totally worth it Those snacks are designed the way you cannot finish them The traffic on the way out When I’m going down, there are many of the 
motorcycle taxis They are offering me a very high prices and the business is always ready There is a store which wasn’t here before Pop-up store I’m trying the impossible I heard that you can actually reach the river there There is some old town There are many old towns here Many steps What ? Chongqing Photo shoots of the girls are endless here This is insane Oh my god That is really impressive All of those lights old kinds of architecture with this bridge The amount of layers here, levels… And in this beautiful valley is a random waterfall Amazing And they do have Kumamoto bear from Japan Those spots are insane for photography The lights in here. Oh my god All right, There are some old stairs in here And that one is already what I love I don’t know what kind of road is it Some leftovers from the construction site ? For sure You need to watch your step in this red land Very surrealistic People are walking there Looks like a different planet I think grandpa is playing with the kids here Honestly? I think this is one of the best places I’ve been to There is some different light show here People are chilling over there Have to do some jumping That is the river Damn the ship is passing I’m climbing the rocks You can literally jump into the river from here This is amazing Hi, I arrived !
