히메지 근교, 일본의 마추픽추 다케다 성 [간사이 시골 3] 다케다 성터, 마을 여행 🇯🇵
Day 5: The accommodation I checked out of didn’t allow me to leave my luggage for free. I used a coin locker outside Himeji Station. Could it be that I only used an IC transportation card? Only available with an IC card. There was no slot for putting money in. The price was 400, 500, and 700 yen . I’m going to Takeda Station using the Kansai Wide Pass . It’s an area that takes 1 hour to get there by taking the Hamakaze train (limited express train between Osaka ↔ Tottori) . Final destination: Takeda Castle . But somehow I thought it would be an unmanned station… I also made a reservation for the return train in advance. (But there was a station staff at Takeda Station.) I boarded the Hamakaze bound for Tottori at number 7! Himeji Station → Takeda Station (1 hour) (Board the Takeda Sky Bus) I was told to take the bus in front of the station from inside the station. I bought the Sky Bus 1-day pass from the driver. If you’re going to take this bus round trip, it’s 100 yen cheaper to buy this ticket. Takeda Castle, also known as the ‘Castle in the Sky’! There are coin lockers inside the station. It seems like there won’t be many people using it, so there will be plenty of space. Be sure to bring cash!!! There are no convenience stores or ATMs here! You have to buy this ticket with cash too. It’s a small mini-bus ride, so it’s okay. But the inside of the bus is full. (It’s also fun to look around the small Takeda village.) (Next time, I’ll stay here for a night and go hiking at dawn.) Is that it? It feels like a really fancy information center. (It was a tourist information center.) There are quite a few people who brought their own cars. It seems like everyone has to park here because this is the last section for vehicles. Passengers board in the second lane. This is where the tourist information center and restaurant are located. It takes 10 minutes by bus from here, and 20 more minutes on foot to reach the final destination. Suddenly, the bus is filled with laughter. (The bus driver mixed up the fares of the people who got on in the middle three times.) There are quite a few people walking. We arrived at the final destination of the Sky Bus. You can also get on here when you get off. It takes 15 minutes from the station. This is the ‘castle site’ to be exact. It’s currently 10:20 12:15 and you can get back! Just follow the direction everyone is going. It ‘s fun to come to a place like this in Japan. The taxi also dropped me off at the last stop. The signs are well-made (15 minutes walk to the ticket office) The bus goes around the mountain and down. (Inner thoughts: Let’s get off here…) It’s a good place to come when it’s not too hot. When the temperature is low and the daily temperature difference is large, there are times when it’s foggy, but they say it’s beautiful when it’s foggy. (There’s no way there’s fog at 11 AM…) They say that this castle was built over 10 years in the 1400s. The locals named this rock because it looks like it’s about to fall. So students pray there. Should I pray too? I put a coin in before I go. This tree is called Hinoki. The scent is really nice! The 15-minute uphill climb is neither easy nor difficult. It’s quite steep . There’s an entrance fee. Adults 500 yen, middle school students and younger free. So I told you to bring a lot of cash, right? Finally, the ticket booth comes into view. Cash machine (PayPay accepted) May’s visitor status board. Am I the second Korean to visit in May? Now there are a few stairs leading up to the castle. Takeda Castle is called the Castle in the Sky in Japan. From the photos, it looks like Machu Picchu in Japan. The style of Japanese castle walls is applied as is. How did they build a castle on top of such a high mountain… and it was in the 1400s… There is a guide. When you go up, go to the right and look around counterclockwise. The people who came on the bus with me are already looking around. It is indeed the Castle in the Sky. The park at the entrance looked like cherry blossom trees (Let’s come again in spring!) Let’s take a break in the small park and look around. I understand why the bus schedule here is long. That’s exactly how much time you need. About 1.5 to 2 hours. There are a lot of large bees like pumpkin bees. The pumpkin bees make a drone-like sound. The bench over there is a nice view. Are all the cherry blossom trees here? (Still looking for reasons to come back in the spring) The sweet scent of flowers wafts from somewhere. I see purple flowers over there. Are they lilacs? They look like wisteria flowers. Is it crowded because it’s the weekend? A bee big enough to be captured on camera. I also want to go to Machu Picchu in Peru. One of the Seven Wonders of the World that I want to visit someday. There are quite a few stairs (but this is relatively few) (This is the highest point) The castle ruins are quite large. It’s wide, wide! 22 I can’t help but hum (Guess what song it is😄) I’m amazed by the wide castle ruins 333 (It’s bigger than I thought, so I’m mad ㅋㅋㅋ) Why do bees keep appearing? They’re too big! Don’t come!! They keep repeating the same thing (Now the comment ends) It’s cool because the feeling changes depending on the location. You can see all the mountains in the distance, so is the weather nice? Everyone is busy taking pictures. There’s also a huge pine tree. The pine tree from before! It’s even bigger when you look up close. There’s a monument. But I can’t see the writing well. This should be considered a rubbing. However, it is not on the guide board or pamphlet. The walking path is like a maze. I just want to go over to the side. It is good to see everything from the exit. Now, the stairs going out. There are quite a few stairs here, so please take note. Takeda Castle is worth visiting at least once. I want to visit again in the spring. It would be really pretty when the cherry blossoms bloom. Arrived at Takeda Station. There are restaurants to go to here and there for those who rented a car, but there are not many near the station. There are cafes and okonomiyaki shops. It is a 2-minute walk from the station. Takeda is a real Japanese countryside town! Is there a temple on the right? I plan to eat and look around there to digest it. I will take the 3 o’clock train back to Himeji. Oh? There is also a bakery. (I knew it in advance by the smell.) Should I go to the cafe here? Where is it? Is this it? No. The smell of okonomiyaki is here! I ordered mixed okonomiyaki and draft beer. They make it for me and I just put the sauce on it and eat it. People who visited Takeda Castle all met here. I forgot to eat katsuobushi, but it was so delicious that I noticed it at the end. There was a world map in the store, and Korea was the only country that wasn’t marked. I said I was the first Korean customer! Now the number must be 33. Okonomiyaki shop parking lot. About 3 cars. Oh my~ I’m full. I wish I could have eaten more, and I wanted to eat yakisoba too… But that was impossible. This shop also accepts credit cards. It looks like it won’t work, but it has wifi. Awesome! Let’s stop by a nearby temple. There must be a restroom. Sky Castle Information Center. What is this? It’s a very strong red color. I wondered what kind of information this was, and it turns out that this kanji means bear. There’s currently a lot of bear sightings, so the hiking trail behind here is temporarily closed. Enter to see the information center (the restroom is clean) . No admission fee. There are simple souvenirs and snacks. It also serves as a tourist information center. It would be easier to see the information center if you know a little Japanese. There’s a video clip that shows the four seasons of Takeda Castle, so be sure to watch it. I heard there’s Teramachi-dori nearby. Where is it? Let’s go! Looking at the map at the information center again. (Cute map) Just cross the train tracks and go toward the waterway. Crossing the train tracks again. Teramachi Dori. It means a street with temples, right? (There are 4 temples.) After watching the video, I got a sense of what to see on this street. Stones piled at the bottom of Takeda Castle! The style of the stone wall was applied to this street. Oh? Kitty and Pikachu stone statues? This is crazy. Pikachu is scary! A tourist looking at the first temple. This place also looks old. Zensoji Temple. (I didn’t go in.) The last one is Hojuji Temple. The temples are lined up. So it’s called ‘Teramachi Dori’ . Is a train coming? I’m not a train nerd, but I can’t stand country trains. The train colors are striking. The long, straight road is very peaceful. Is there Teuchi Soba? (It’s hand-made soba noodles.) If you don’t like okonomiyaki, this is the place! There were a few groups of customers. There’s a cat cafe here! It seems like they have 30-minute passes. There’s also a 300 yen pass for 15 minutes! I’m thinking about how many minutes to pay. I’ll hold off for now. Should I go? Should I go? I wasn’t going to go. I haven’t seen any cats on this trip. I’m satisfied at the cat cafe… I paid for 15 minutes and went in. They gave me food toys. They’re cute. But there are too many. One suddenly came at me. As expected, it imitated cat language and became friendly. What a dog-cat. I have to keep returning the food from time to time. I have to keep returning the food from time to time. It’s burdensome because there are too many cats 😂 Pet them endlessly! Do you want me to? The food doesn’t come out well, so I have to keep returning it ㅋㅋㅋ I want to take this cat home. The cat was on my lap for the entire 15 minutes 🙂 The cats want to take out the food. I’m running out of food. I bought coffee and bread at the bakery earlier (the coffee was just okay) . I’ll move to Himeji Station for an hour again. The last day to change accommodations. It’s near ‘Izumisano Station’ near Kansai Airport. I’m planning to stay at a guesthouse in that area. First, you can take the express train to Osaka, but I’m going to take the special rapid train instead of the local train. No reservation required. Hellish Osaka Station transfer. It’s so hard to take the Osaka subway. I made a mistake and ended up going all the way to DisneySea and then back. I have to take the Osaka Loop Line. Oh my… It’s so hard. Another transfer. You can’t ride the Nankai Railway with the Kansai Wide Pass. I intentionally booked this accommodation near the airport. I wanted to use the pass as much as possible to stay near the airport. It costs 650 yen to get to Izumisano Station . The accommodation I took a picture of the next morning. I talked to the owner and guests in this living room for 2 hours. The day I return home. It feels more like a guesthouse than a hostel. I’ll have a good stay. It’s only been open for a month. Everything is new and fine, but the rooms are small single rooms with no doors and curtains instead, so keep that in mind. The old houses remain. I have to go to the airport quickly… I think I’ll have a morning set at Kitsaten and go. If I had left 20 minutes earlier, I would have eaten leisurely and gone. It only takes 9 minutes by train from here to the airport. I decided to have a quick breakfast here and enjoy it before heading out. Brief impressions of this trip. This time, it was a really rural tour. Kyoto passed by. Osaka passed by. The only city I saw was Himeji? Oh~ This is it. Kissaten! There are 8 different morning sets. As expected, the retro atmosphere. I ordered B’s Amber Butter Set (860 yen). They even brought me the fruit I missed. A pretty coffee cup. The inside of the store was non-smoking. (I was worried that it might be a smoking store.) I think I saw it in an article. I saw an article about the Osaka Expo that completely banned indoor smoking in Osaka. (I found out that it was completely banned ‘outdoor’ smoking, not indoor smoking.) I was surprised that my flight was not on the Kansai Airport flight schedule. Jeju Air has to go to Terminal 2. I thought I came to a different airport… I bought ramen at a convenience store next to the duty-free shop and boiled it. I also ate a hearty rice ball. Gyeongbuk region seen from the sky. The damage from the forest fire was so vivid. I hope it will be restored to its original green state…
