It is located in Ranzan Town, Saitama Prefecture.
This is the site of the mansion of Hatakeyama Shigetada, a powerful vassal of the Kamakura shogunate.
It is called Sugaya Castle or Sugaya Hall.
In the second half of the 15th century, Ota Sukeyasu, under the orders of the Yamanouchi Uesugi clan, rebuilt the old Sugaya Castle as a check against Kawagoe Castle, the base of the Ogigayatsu Uesugi clan.
This is a video of a 49-year-old bachelor who silently visited the castle by himself.
