Huis Ten Bosch is definitely NOT like being in the Netherlands! We booked a multi day stay there a couple of years ago and it was not worth it. IF you are there for a special event (Christmas lights or flower festival) sure, but just on a regular day, no… That volcano looked awesome though!
At the beginning the 7-11 was there filmed, I liked the little joke yo made on that on yourselves 😀. You made me smile.

The host of that camping is really a really nice person to open up just for the two of you => In the Netherlands we've got a saying: "Wie goed doet, goed ontmoet" Literal translation: "Whom does good, meets good". More liberal, with context translation: "The person that is doing good things /does the right things, will get good things in return". So take that as a compliment from the host as well as from me.
The animal shaped trees are amazing. I think it will take years and determination to get them that way.
