🗺️ Where is Sonogno and How to Get There?
Sonogno is the last village in the stunning Valle Verzasca, near the Italian-speaking region of Ticino, Switzerland.
🚗 By car: From Locarno, drive about 40 minutes through the scenic Verzasca Valley.
🚌 By public transport: Take a train to Locarno, then hop on Bus 321 which winds up the valley straight to Sonogno.
It’s a magical ride through gorges, rivers, and forests — perfect for a day trip or a quiet retreat.

    ⛰🌿A calm, quiet day — the kind that invites you to slow down.

    We wander through winding paths lined with centuries-old stone houses, their weathered walls full of character and stories. Flowers spill from the windows, and the air is still, broken only by birdsong.

    The village feels timeless, like it’s paused between moments.

    Just outside, a gentle path takes us to an amazing waterfall — and farther still, a stone bridge arches gracefully over a crystal-clear river.💧✨

    Let’s not rush. This place asks us to breathe, to listen, to simply be.

    I think that the beauty of nature that has been preserved as it is, without any artificial manipulation, is a legacy for future generations that is more valuable than jewels👍

    The sound of water, the creatures swimming freely in harmony with the water, the dense trees that make up the forest, and the houses tightly packed with stones seem like nature itself🥰

    There is beauty houses , fresh water. , but they are not open tour in each house yet . It alway. Tour outside . don't think they are not open tour in house yet .
