広島ひとり旅vlog – 観光、グルメ、カフェ、街歩き

Hello, I’m Chihiro. This time I will introduce my trip to Hiroshima, Japan. Hiroshima is 4 hours from Tokyo by Shinkansen. First, we will head to Hiroshima city. The main street in central Hiroshima is an arcade street. Trams run through the city. First, go to OBSCURA COFFEE ROASTERS. This is a coffee specialty store. You can drink various types of coffee. I drank the coffee cherry latte (600 yen). The mug is also stylish. It’s a slightly sweet coffee. It has no bitterness and is easy to drink. We also have a wide selection of coffee to take home. We also have the shop’s original coffee. Next, go to the Shikaku Hondori store. Shibaraku is a Teppanyaki restaurant. For lunch, you can eat Wagyu Beef Mabushi. Prices vary depending on toppings and sides. I ordered Hiroshima Meat Mushi (3500 yen). It comes with oysters, typical of Hiroshima. In addition to condiments, there is also conger eel. Egg yolk and salmon roe on top of A5 lean Wagyu beef. First, eat it as is. Next, transfer it to a bowl and eat it with condiments. At the end, add beef bone soup and enjoy a variety of flavors. The beef was tender and delicious. After eating, we will walk to Peace Memorial Park. The autumn leaves along the river are beautiful. There is a fountain. Arrived at the Atomic Bomb Dome. The Atomic Bomb Dome was built in 1915 as the Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall. This brick building is the first place in Japan to sell Baumkuchen. The building was completely destroyed by the atomic bomb in 1945. Cross the Motoyasu River. You can see the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park from the top of the bridge. The Atomic Bomb Dome is preserved as a negative legacy that conveys the history of human error. Because the blast wave was blown vertically 160m from the hypocenter, collapse was avoided. It seems that trams were still running there at that time. Autumn leaves are in full bloom at Peace Memorial Park. It feels good to walk. The Atomic Bomb Children’s Statue is a monument for the children who died in the atomic bombing. The Flame of Peace was lit in 1964 and has continued to burn for over 50 years. At the center of the park is the Peace Pond. In front of the pond is a monument to the victims of the nuclear power plant. The Atomic Bomb Dome can be seen from the center. Now, let’s go to the Peace Memorial Museum. There are also web tickets, but I was able to purchase tickets by lining up. This is the city of Hiroshima before the atomic bomb was dropped. On August 6, 1945, an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. After the atomic bomb was dropped, the city of Hiroshima was instantly reduced to ashes. You can also see the city before and after the atomic bombing in CG. The museum has exhibits about what happened that day, the damage, and the suffering caused by radiation exposure afterwards. There are many exhibits that are shocking and make you want to look away. My heart ached as I read the various stories of the atomic bombings, but even if I wanted to turn away, I still felt that this was a place I had to visit. Reading about it in a book and seeing it in person were completely different in how I perceived it. This is the original Atomic Bomb Dome building. After the atomic bombing, it took on its current appearance. Finally, the museum ended with an exhibit on the dangers of nuclear weapons. After regaining my composure, I headed to Hiroshima Castle. Cross the Gomon Bridge and enter the premises from the Omote Gomon. Go through the gate and go to Ninomaru. There are a lot of carp and birds in the pond in the moat. The next area includes Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine. The shrine was built in 1868 to enshrine the fallen soldiers of the Boshin War. It is also famous for the Carp baseball team coming to pray for victory every year. The castle tower of Hiroshima Castle came into view. Hiroshima Castle was built in 1589 by Terumoto Mori, a warlord from the Sengoku period. As you go up the stairs, the view gradually gets better. The five-story castle tower was completely destroyed by the atomic bomb. The current castle tower was restored in 1958. The inside of the castle tower is a history museum. There are also exhibits about life at that time. Tableware is lined up. This is a tea room. Of course, we use charcoal in the kitchen. Arrived at the top floor. There is a passageway outside that serves as an observation deck. There is a high school on the north side. When viewed from above, you can clearly see the size of Hiroshima Castle’s grounds. There is a stadium on the south side. It was check-in time so I headed to the hotel. I stayed at Kiro Hiroshima. I stayed in a room called Moderate with two single beds. It’s nice to have a bathtub. Next, go to few cafe. I waited for over 30 minutes at a popular cafe. There is a set where you can choose a cake. Since it was in the evening, many of the cakes were sold out. I ordered a cake set of 2 types (1400 yen). The cakes are cake omaron and fromage cru. It’s a fluffy cheese cake filled with marron both inside and on top . There’s a pineapple inside. The drink is cafe au lait. The inside of the cafe was stylish and made me want to come back again. Next time, I’ll go eat dinner. I went to Micchan main store. This is a famous Hiroshima okonomiyaki restaurant founded in 1950. I wanted to make okonomiyaki that would fill me up, so I made okonomiyaki with soba noodles. Since it’s a popular restaurant, we waited for 45 minutes. Condiments include your favorite sauce and mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is wearing a Karp hat. The one I ate was the DX Special (1920 yen). Contains green onion, squid tempura, raw squid, raw shrimp, and rice cake. The size is quite large. It’s delicious with pork and mochi! With my stomach full, I headed back to the hotel. The illumination was beautiful. This is my second day in Hiroshima. For breakfast, I ate crepes with orange and lemon sauce at the hotel. After having breakfast, I went to the main street bus stop. I will go to Kure by bus. Seats are free seats. No reservations are required, and you pay 860 yen on the bus. It takes 40 minutes from Hiroshima’s main street to Kure. The bus passes along the coast. Arrived at Kure. The bus will arrive in front of Kure Station. Kure is the third largest city in Hiroshima Prefecture and flourished as Japan’s number one military port. Passing the station and shopping mall, head towards the port. Kure is dotted with spots related to the former Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. First, let’s go to Yamato Museum. This museum introduces the history of Kure, with a focus on the battleship Yamato. Inside is a 1/10 scale model of the battleship Yamato. The battleship Yamato is one of the world’s largest battleships, built by the Japanese Navy during World War II. It was secretly built in Kure in 1937 to compete against American battleships. In April 1945, the Yamato participated in a special attack on Okinawa, but was sunk by a large-scale air raid by the US military. More than 2,700 of the approximately 3,000 crew members were killed in action. The remains of Yamato are also on display. Kure was Japan’s largest naval base and shipbuilding city at the time, so air raids were carried out. This is a mobile picture-story show bicycle. You can see the sea from the exhibition room. Next, go to the atrium exhibition room. A special submarine and a Zero fighter are on display. Kairyu is the world’s first winged submersible. It was developed with the aim of being able to dive and surface freely underwater like an airplane. The Zero Fighter was used as a standard aircraft for the Navy. A miniature battleship is also displayed. There was also a trial corner. Next, go to the balcony. From here you can see Tetsu no Whale Museum and the sea. A shipyard can be seen on the sea side. I thought the Rising Sun flag was the flag of the old navy, but it turns out that it is still used as the self-defense flag of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. Next, we went to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Kure Museum (Tetsu no Whale Museum). Admission is free as it is a Self-Defense Forces facility. Inside the museum, you can learn about the history and activities of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. We also carry out activities to remove sea mines used in World War II. A minesweeper that detects and removes mines. Next is the submarine corner. The triple bunk beds on the submarine seem to be small. Submarine food looks delicious! A lens that looks at the ground from a submarine. If you remove the lens, you can see the ocean. Submarine models are arranged in chronological order. It can also be included in “Akishio”, which was actually active from 1986 to 2004. The inside of the submarine is smaller than expected, and life here seems difficult. Next, go to Kure Haikara Shokudo. This is a dining hall that recreates the inside of a submarine. It has a Showa retro atmosphere. You can eat navy gourmet food. The dish I ate was Submarine Soryu Curry (1,600 yen). Sides include Fukujinzuke, rakkyo, egg, and potato salad. The whale cutlet is chewy and has a crispy coating. It also comes with meat and potatoes. Maritime Self-Defense Force curry is a curry that members of the Maritime Self-Defense Force eat every Friday. The curry was slightly spicy and the meat was tender and delicious. There is a shop next to the restaurant. Kure souvenirs are lined up. I came to the sea side of Yamato Museum. The floating ring is also part of the Yamato Museum. You can relax while looking out at the sea on the lawn area. You can see the pier. The blue sky is beautiful everywhere you look. Shipyard cranes are lined up. The Anchor of Oath is a replica of the main anchor of the battleship Yamato. Kure has a coast guard department. I came to the second floor of the ferry terminal. It’s on a bit of a hill, so the view is good. Kure is surrounded by the sea and mountains. Go to Sanbashiya inside the Kure Chuo Pier Terminal. A stylish cafe overlooking the sea. I drank homemade lemon soda (600 yen). Hiroshima is famous for producing lemons. Lemon is sweet and delicious. Purchase a ticket and participate in the ship tour (1,700 yen). There are 4-5 flights a day, and you can buy tickets online. Go up to the open deck. Well then, off we go! Kure is a major base for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, along with Yokosuka Port in Kanagawa Prefecture. This is the site of the shipyard for the battleship Yamato. There is still a shipyard there, where large ships are built. I am currently building a company in Denmark. A large ship can be built in 6 months. It seems that they are using the block construction method where the piping is made in advance. Tone is a coastal escort ship. Kunisaki is a transport ship that can transport trucks and helicopters. Apparently, the inside of the escort ship is open to the public on designated days. Tenryu is a training support ship. Towada is a supply ship. You can replenish gasoline and supplies while the ship is running. The ship has gray camouflage. The upper part is a light gray, the same color as the sky, and the lower part is a dark gray, the same color as the horizon, making it difficult to find. Submarines are only stationed in Kure and Yokosuka. To board a submarine, an aptitude test is required and training is conducted at the Submarine Education and Training Corps. Chihaya is a rescue ship and her paintwork is different from other ships, making it easily visible. There are also treatment facilities and a medical helicopter can arrive and depart. There were also various other ships, including an acoustic measurement ship that collected sounds from ships of unknown nationality. If you are seated on the left side of the ship, you can see the ship on the way there and Kure on the way back, and vice versa if you are seated on the right side. So I think either seat is fine. The 35-minute military port cruise is over. Kure’s character “Mr. Wu” was drawn. Then, walk to your next destination. Arrived at the 200 stairs of Ryojo. These are steeply sloping stone steps located in the Ryojo area, with approximately 200 steps. With the development of the shipbuilding industry in Kure, many houses were built on the slopes of the mountains as a means of livelihood. By the way, this is also the filming location for the 2004 movie “Umizaru”. A training scene was filmed in which the sea monkeys ran up the mountain carrying cylinders. At that time, I loved Umizaru and wanted to come to Kure, so I’m glad to be able to come here after 20 years. Climb the stairs to get a panoramic view of Kure’s port and city. The view is spectacular all the way back. You’ll want to stop and take a photo. Walk to Kure Station. Arrived at Kure Station. I will return to Hiroshima city by bus. It takes 40 minutes from Kure to Hiroshima. The view is beautiful so you won’t get bored. The sunset is beautiful ♪ Arrived in Hiroshima city. I’m back on track. I went to Hiroshima Mitsukoshi for dinner. I went to Anago Meshi Ueno. You can also take it home at the conger shop. What I ate was Anago Meshi (2,801 yen). Conger eel is also a specialty of Hiroshima. Conger eel is fluffy and delicious! The flavor of the rice is just right. It also came with pickles and miso soup. Next, we went to Tagashira Chaho for dessert. Tagashira Chaho is a tea shop. There are various types of tea and sweets lined up. I bought hojicha powder and tea candy. At the cafe, I ordered strawberry milk dumplings (781 yen). There’s a strawberry on top of the milk dumpling, and it also comes with roasted green tea ice cream. The milk filling is sweet and has a milky taste. The drink is bar hojicha (290 yen). The flavor of hojicha is strong and delicious. Return to the hotel and the second day ends. This is the third day in Hiroshima. Breakfast is a crepe with eggs, ham, and cheese. After eating breakfast, leave the hotel! I look at souvenirs at Hiroshima Station. I went to Nishikido, a famous shop for Momiji Manju. There are various types of momiji manju. I bought 3 Momiji Manju. From Hiroshima Station, take the Shinkansen to Shin-Onomichi Station. It takes 2 hours on a conventional line, but 40 minutes on a Shinkansen. Beautiful autumn leaves in the mountains. Arrived at Shin-Onomichi Station. Shin-Onomichi Station is a quiet station. There are residential areas around it. By the way, it takes 20 minutes by bus to Onomichi Station, a tourist destination. I met up with my friends and headed to Sera. What I went to in Sera was Hyugagusa. This is a popular old folk house restaurant. It was difficult to make a reservation, so my friend worked hard to get it for me. There are table seats and tatami seats. First, let’s have some tea. If you order a main dish, you will receive an appetizer. The appetizers change daily and include seasonal side dishes. Lots of tofu, eringi mushrooms, persimmons, meat, and chestnut rice. The main dish is Kuroge Wagyu beef with fig red wine sauce (3,200 yen). There’s plenty of tender beef on top. The colorful vegetables have a nice texture and just the right consistency. The sauce was sweet, but the wine subdued it and it was delicious. Salad, soup, and rice are also included. At the end, we had coffee. It was a great lunch, everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great. There are many rice fields around the shop, and it is quiet. Depart Sera and head to Fukuyama. Arrived at Fukuyama Station. The Shinkansen stops at Fukuyama, and Fukuyama Castle is located in front of the station. Climb the stairs and head to Fukuyama Castle Park. The autumn leaves are beautiful. Fukuyama Castle is a castle built in the early Edo period (1622). The intentions of the shogunate were also strongly reflected in order to monitor the feudal lords of the western countries. The castle tower and other parts were destroyed by air raids in 1945, but were rebuilt in 1966. When you climb up to the castle tower, you will find a well. Although I couldn’t see much of the surrounding scenery, the autumn leaves in the park were beautiful. From the station, you could see the entire Fukuyama Castle. I stayed at Anchor Hotel Fukuyama in Fukuyama. This stylish hotel is a 3-minute walk from Fukuyama Station. There is a cafe on the first floor where you will receive a welcome drink. The room I stayed in was a standard double room. Bed runners are made from locally sourced denim. The room is a renovated apartment with only a shower. You can use the large public bath at the Fukuyama Oriental Hotel next door. The sunset was beautiful. Breakfast at the hotel cafe. I ate a croissant hot dog. Arrived at Fukuyama Station. Look for Hiroshima souvenirs at the station. Both Tomonoura Ramen and Mayo Ramen are delicious and my favorites. Although it is not limited to Hiroshima, I purchased Lululun’s Osmanthus Pack. I also bought the Setouchi lemon squid tempura that I received last time and it was delicious. This concludes today’s video. Thank you for watching until the end.

今回、広島県の広島、呉、世羅、福島に行きました。
