【町会の特徴】江戸神社 奉賛会は旧神田市場の関係者で構成されています。江戸神社は、江戸最古の神社で、神田多町に青果市場があった江戸時代から市場関係者の間で守られてきた神社です。市場が秋葉原から平成元年に大田に移転してからも今日に続いています。
【神輿の特徴】当神社の神輿は「青果市場の神輿」、「神田市場の千貫神輿」と呼ばれ、約200人で担がれる大神輿です。戦後昭和33年、当時の技術を結集して浅草小鳥町 の鹿野喜平が製作。他に類を見ない金物関係は大阪造幣局にいた名錺師阿部 長次郎が製作。
江戸っ子の血が騒ぐ「神田祭」！江戸時代から続く、神田明神の壮大な例大祭です。京都の祇園祭、大阪の天神祭と並ぶ「日本三大祭り」の一つであり、赤坂日枝神社の山王祭と共に「江戸三大祭り」としても知られています。特に2年に一度、西暦奇数年の5月中旬に行われる本祭は圧巻。一番の見どころは、厳かで美しい装束をまとった人々の「神幸祭」の行列と、その後に行われる各町会の「神輿宮入」。百基近い神輿が次々と神田明神へ練り込む光景は、勇壮そのもの。徳川家康公が関ヶ原の合戦前に戦勝を祈願したことでも知られ、江戸幕府の庇護のもと「天下祭」として発展しました。歴史と伝統、そして今に息づく江戸の粋と人々の熱気を存分に味わえる祭りです。
※渡御とは・・・神様が乗物（神輿など）に乗り氏子町内を巡られることを渡御と言います。

Kanda Festival Edo Shrine Support Association Mikoshi Procession 2025 May 11 (Sunday) 2PM
[Characteristics of the Neighborhood Association] The Edo Shrine Support Association is made up of people related to the former Kanda Market. Edo Shrine is the oldest shrine in Edo, and has been protected by market people since the Edo period when there was a fruit and vegetable market in Kanda-tamachi. It has continued to this day even after the market moved from Akihabara to Ota in 1989.
[Characteristics of the Mikoshi] The mikoshi of this shrine is called the “Fruit and Vegetable Market Mikoshi” and the “Kanda Market Senkan Mikoshi”, and is a large mikoshi carried by about 200 people. In 1958, after the war, it was made by Kihei Shikano of Asakusa Kotorimachi, bringing together the techniques of the time. The unique metalwork was made by the famous metalwork maker Chojiro Abe, who was at the Osaka Mint Bureau.
The Kanda Festival gets the blood of Edokko people boiling! This is a grand annual festival of Kanda Myojin Shrine that has been held since the Edo period. It is one of the “Three Great Festivals of Japan” along with the Gion Festival in Kyoto and the Tenjin Festival in Osaka, and is also known as one of the “Three Great Festivals of Edo” along with the Sanno Festival at Akasaka Hie Shrine. The main festival, which takes place every two years in mid-May on odd-numbered years, is particularly spectacular. The highlights are the procession of people dressed in solemn and beautiful costumes in the “Shinko Festival” and the “Mikoshi Miyairi” procession of each neighborhood association that takes place afterwards. The sight of nearly 100 mikoshi being paraded into Kanda Myojin Shrine one after another is a heroic sight. It is also known that Tokugawa Ieyasu prayed for victory before the Battle of Sekigahara, and developed into a “Tenka Matsuri” (National Festival) under the patronage of the Edo Shogunate. This festival is full of history and tradition, as well as the Edo spirit and enthusiasm of the people that still live on today. *What is a “Togyo”? A “Togyo” is when a deity rides on a vehicle (such as a portable shrine) and goes around the parish towns.

【鄰裡會的特色】江戶神社後援會由與舊神田市場相關的人士組成。江戶神社是江戶最古老的神社，自江戶時代神田田町設立蔬果市場以來，一直受到市場人員的守護。即使1989年蔬果市場從秋葉原遷至大田後，市場人員的守護也延續至今。
【神轎的特色】本神社的神轎被稱為“果蔬市場神轎”或“神田市場千官神轎”，是由約200人抬著的大型神轎。戰後1958年，淺草琴鳥町的鹿野喜兵衛製作了這件作品，融合了當時的技巧。其獨特的金屬工藝出自當時在大阪造幣局任職的著名金屬工匠阿部長次郎之手。
神田祭讓江戶人熱血沸騰！這是神田明神社自江戶時代以來舉辦的盛大祭典。它與京都的祗園祭、大阪的天神祭並列為“日本三大祭”，也與赤坂日枝神社的山王祭並列為“江戶三大祭”。其主祭每兩年奇數年的五月中旬舉行，場面特別壯觀。亮點是身著莊嚴華麗服飾的「神幸祭」和之後舉行的各居委會「神轎入」遊行。近百位神轎依序列隊進入神田明神社，場面雄偉壯觀。據說，在關原之戰前，德川家康曾在此祈求勝利，後來在江戶幕府的庇護下發展成為「天下祭」。這個節日充滿了歷史和傳統，也傳承了至今仍保留的江戶精神和江戶人民的熱情。 *什麼是「渡禦」？ 「渡禦」是指神明乘坐神轎等交通工具，在各教區城鎮巡遊。
