Nanyo, Yamagata (山形県南陽市赤湯) – Yamagata The Takinami (山形座 瀧波) public areas & welcome sweets and tea
This show area. [Music] This lobby area Very stylish. We are in Nano in a Yamagata Prefecture. Previously, we stayed somewhere very close by called Sakura Sanchuyu. Now, we’re going to stay here at Yamagata Zatakami. There’s some crafts for sale. There’s a hallway to some of the rooms. There’s 19 rooms, so it’s one of the bigger um riokans in Japan. Anyways, this is uh where we came in from.
A quick walkthrough of the indoor public area as well as the welcome snack and tea that was served at Yamagata The Takinami (山形座 瀧波), a 19-room luxury onsen ryokan located in Akayu, Nanyo, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan (山形県南陽市赤湯.) The sweets was a pudding made with egg from chickens that were fed Rice flour as part of their diet, resulting – allegedly – in a smoother and “nicer” taste and texture. There was also honey syrup on top.
