【フーコックTrip Vlog】ベトナムの秘境🇻🇳フーコック島で過ごす理想の休日🏝

May 3, 2025 I’m going on a short trip in Japan. As usual, I head to the airport with Grab. It’s been a long time since I’ve used a domestic flight. There’s no immigration procedures, so I have plenty of time. It seems less crowded than international flights. Since we don’t have any checked luggage, we head straight to the baggage inspection. We board the 12:20 flight to Phu Quoc. We pass through the baggage inspection smoothly. The baggage inspection seemed to be more lenient than international flights (we were able to bring water normally). When we went inside, the waiting benches were filled with people. Since we had time to spare, we decided to rest in the lounge. This time we will use this lounge. Since we hadn’t had breakfast, we decided to eat it here. Bread, fruit, and several types of side dishes are available. Pho seemed to be very popular. They poured us hot soup. After a light meal, we started knitting. There is a bag I want to make, so I’m going to try it. I’m looking forward to seeing how much I can finish during this trip. It’s time to board, and we arrived in front of the gate. This time, we will travel to the plane by bus again. The seats on the bus were soft and luxurious. This time, we will use Vietnam Airlines. There are no direct flights from Japan to Phu Quoc Island, Normally, you would transfer in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to get to Phu Quoc Island. It takes about an hour to fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc Airport. There were a lot of clouds that day, and the plane was a bit shaky as it ascended . I continued knitting in silence on the plane. The one-hour flight went by in a flash, and we could see the mainland of the island below. We arrived safely at Phu Quoc International Airport. It’s only an hour from Ho Chi Minh City, so it’s close and very easy to get to. After getting off the plane, we took a short bus ride. Phu Quoc International Airport opened on December 2, 2012, and is a relatively compact airport. It’s a large gateway to Phu Quoc Island, visited by people from all over the world. There is no immigration for domestic flights, so we could go directly to the taxi stand, which was very convenient. Phu Quoc Island, located south of Ho Chi Minh City, is humid and muggy. The rainy season begins around May, so we hope it doesn’t rain. First, we travel to the hotel by Grab. We meet the driver and have him carry our luggage to the car. It’s about a 30-minute drive from the airport to the hotel. The Grab fare seemed a little higher than in Ho Chi Minh City. The roads were well maintained and there was no congestion. The hotel we stayed at this time was Premier Residences Phu Quoc. When I arrived , I was surprised to see that it was crowded with people waiting to check in. It seemed that there were a lot of Koreans and Chinese people. The staff carried my luggage for me. The room I stayed in this time was Room 1018 on the top floor. I chose a 57㎡ superior suite room. Inside, there was a spacious living room. The furniture was simple and calm. Next to it was the bedroom with a king-size bed. The desk area was decorated with wooden furniture, giving it a warm feel. The closet was also spacious and had plenty of storage space. There were bathrobes and an iron prepared inside. There were also beach sandals underneath. The minibar had water, coffee, and tea prepared. Below that was a fully equipped refrigerator. It was like a small kitchen, and it had a faucet, so it was convenient for washing dishes, etc. Next, I moved to the bathroom, which was clean and spacious. There were drawers. There was a hairdryer in the toilet. Amenities such as toothbrushes, razors, cotton swabs and cotton are provided. The toilet is also hygienic and clean. The shower room did not have a bathtub. The body soap was a combination of shampoo and body wash, so if you are concerned about this, I recommend bringing your own. The bedroom and living room are separate, making it a luxurious space where you can relax. The highlight is the view from the balcony, which has an ocean view and is within walking distance of the sea. The pool is also freely available to guests. It’s nice to spend time on the balcony feeling the pleasant breeze. Since I hadn’t had lunch yet, I headed to the restaurant in the hotel. I walked past the poolside. It was a warm day that made me sweat even just walking a little, so it seemed like it would be nice to swim in the pool. I arrived at the clubhouse restaurant next to the beach . Since it is adjacent to the beach, some people entered in their swimsuits. The sea breeze blew through and I could smell the sea. The menu said that you could enjoy the rich seafood dishes of Phu Quoc Island and the tastes of the world. The menu was very easy to read with pictures. It was a late lunch, so it was empty at this time. For drinks, I chose Lemon. I chose a mixed juice called Luster, and my husband ordered a mug of beer. It was very delicious with fruits such as lemon, ginger, and pineapple. The atmosphere was wonderful and I could feel the tropical resort atmosphere. Before the food came out, they served bread and olive oil for free. The main dish came out. I ordered fried shrimp and a hamburger. The hamburger was very filling, so I was glad I ordered only one. Everything was very delicious and I ate it all . With my stomach full, I took a walk around the hotel. It seems like it would be nice to take a walk by the sea. I left the hotel and headed to a nearby market. Here I bought drinks. I bought water, juice, beer, etc. They also sold sunscreen, so it’s okay if you forget to bring it. There are spas and restaurants near the hotel, so you can finish it here without going too far. I decided to go back to the hotel and relax in my room. I wanted to enjoy the hotel without packing my schedule too much on this trip. I spent my time relaxing while being soothed by the view from the balcony. I saw the sunset from the bus stop in front of the hotel. There is a free shuttle bus to the town. We decided to take the bus to the town to see the sunset. It is very refreshing to ride the open-top bus through the wind. We head to our destination while enjoying the cityscape. Gradually, a European-like streetscape comes into view. The clock tower, the symbol of Sunset Town, was inspired by the iconic bell tower of St. Peter’s Church. Sunset Town is a luxurious yet romantic town inspired by the Mediterranean style. The colorful and original houses and the antique-style walls with layered paint recreate the old streets of Italy. It makes you feel as if you have wandered into a foreign country. From 9pm, you can also watch the complex experiential art show “Kiss of the Sea show”. The artistic fireworks show at the end. I arrived at one of the most famous places in Sunset Town, the Kissing Bridge. This is a masterpiece of architecture built on the sea, designed by the great architect Marco Casamonti. The cable car station to Hom Thom Island, where I plan to go tomorrow, is also nearby. The Kissing Bridge is known as the most beautiful place to watch the sunset in Phu Quoc, and you can enjoy a wonderful sunset along with the vast ocean view. It is said that Phu Quoc Island is the only place in Vietnam where you can watch the sun sink into the horizon. The clouds made it difficult to see the sun, but the way the sky gradually changed color was very beautiful. The two arches approaching each other gracefully but never touching symbolize a romantic moment between lovers. This is the perfect place for lovers to propose and take wonderful wedding photos. After enjoying the sunset, I took a stroll around the nearby night market, where there were various shops such as miscellaneous goods and food. You can feel like you’re at a festival. We were able to see an acrobatic dance show up close. It was impressive and cool. The buildings are beautiful and it is one of the cleanest night markets in Asia. The artworks using lotus leaves were very cute. Each one has a different pattern, so you can find something that is one of a kind. The food prices are also very reasonable. Vietnamese sausages and fruit smoothies seem to be popular. It is recommended for those who want to spend a special night in a place where you can enjoy both the atmosphere and entertainment at once. Next, we head to the largest night market in Phu Quoc. The night market is one of the tourist attractions on Phu Quoc Island . It is located in the center of the island and is lively with seafood restaurants and food stalls. It is one of the places you should stop by once when you come to Phu Quoc Island. Phu Quoc is very famous for its pearl farming. It is also famous for its fresh seafood, and there are many seafood restaurants such as large spiny lobsters and scallops. Freshly squeezed french fries are also available. The root juice looks delicious too. I found some nostalgic roasted chestnuts. I used to eat them a lot at festivals when I was little. The freshly roasted chestnuts were steaming hot and delicious. In the middle of the night market, I found a supermarket. Here, souvenirs from Phu Quoc were sold at reasonable prices and it was crowded with many shoppers. I also bought a few souvenirs here. There were many foods I had never seen before, which was interesting. I was very satisfied to experience this atmosphere . There was a cute general store near the night market, so I stopped by. They sold a lot of stylish and cute goods made in Vietnam. The accessories made from seashells were very nice. They were great as souvenirs, but there were also many items that I wanted for myself. Soap made in Phu Quoc was also sold, and it seemed to be natural soap derived from nature. Next, we headed to a popular pizza restaurant for dinner. We went to “The Home,” the most popular Italian restaurant on Phu Quoc Island. When you enter the restaurant , herbs are grown in the courtyard, and the atmosphere is rich with nature. The menu ranges from standard dishes to unique pizzas that the chef has developed that are a perfect fusion of Eastern and Western cuisines. The menu is easy to read with pictures, and everything looks delicious. The tableware is stylish and lovely. The interior of the restaurant is open and spacious, and you can feel the attention to detail in the interior. For drinks, my husband ordered sparkling wine and I ordered a panettone juice. We had walked a lot and were sweating, so the cold juice was a great way to warm up. First of all, we ordered a salad, and were surprised at how large it was. We had a choice of two types of dressing, and we chose the halal. I chose kneaded mustard. The original dressing was not spicy, but rather sweet and sour. The main course of pizza came ✨ I ordered half and half and chose Margherita x Seafood. The dough was chewy and the cheese was melty and incredibly delicious ✨ I also ordered crab spaghetti 🤤 This is definitely a delicious dish. The chewy noodles were mixed with tomato and koollim sauce and were rich and delicious. There was also plenty of crab, making it a luxurious dish. I was full and very satisfied with the dinner time. There was a gift shop next to the restaurant, so I decided to take a look inside. Here I discovered a miniature food stall from “The 90’s DIY”, which I had been interested in for a while. Mini art pieces that reproduce Vietnamese food stalls 💕 I decided to buy one as a souvenir. I was able to spend a relaxing and fulfilling day on the first day. I returned to the hotel by Grab and decided to get some rest in preparation for the next day. I woke up a little slowly on the second day . It started raining in the morning. It was raining here, but the other side of the sea was sunny and a fantastic view. On the way to breakfast, I was surprised by a big thunder 😨 The rain started to pour and the hotel was leaking. Breakfast was served in a buffet style with a wide variety of menu items. Perhaps because of the rain, the breakfast venue was very crowded that day and it was difficult to get food. Freshly made pho was also available. There were a variety of types, including Vietnamese and Western dishes, and there was also a wide variety of breads. There were many types of cheese, so you can enjoy various flavors. I ate too much last night, so I only ate pho . The refreshing pho has a gentle taste. It’s perfect for breakfast. I went back to the room and waited for the rain to stop. While I was waiting, I continued knitting. It was my first time making a bag, but I gradually got used to it and an image came to mind. After about an hour, the blue sky finally came into view. I headed to my destination for the day, Hom Thom Island. The rain earlier was so strong that it was flooded in places. I arrived at the most popular ropeway station in Phu Quoc . The ropeway to Hon Thom Island was launched on February 15, 2018 as the world’s longest “sea ropeway”. There are clean restrooms near the boarding point, so it’s safe. The ropeway was temporarily suspended due to bad weather, so it was crowded near the entrance. However, the flow was smooth and I was able to board right away. Each cabin can accommodate 30 people, and it takes about 15 minutes one way to travel the total length of about 7,900m from An Thoi Town to Hon Thom Island. It feels strange, like floating in the air . There are countless boats floating on the blue sea, a view that can only be seen here. This ropeway has been listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest ropeway in the world. It is certified as a tourist attraction. It sometimes shakes, so if you are afraid of heights, it might be a little scary 😂 I am also afraid of heights, but the view was so amazing that I forgot about it. I could see the theme park “Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park” on Hon Thom Island. You can enter “Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park” for free if you purchase a round-trip ticket for the ropeway. The park is very large and you can enjoy it all day . Let’s take a walk around the island. The sun is strong, so you need a parasol. There are very interesting rides and objects, and I can’t stop being excited. Resort development is still underway on the island, and there were many facilities under construction. We decided to use AQUATOPIA. I’m a little curious about the character that looks like something. Pool goods are sold inside the facility, so it seems like you can manage even if you come empty-handed. There are lockers and changing rooms on the left as soon as you enter. Locker (small): 30,000vnd (166yen) Locker (large): 60,000vnd (332) Towel: 50,000vnd (276yen) Shower & Toilet: Free There were many shower rooms and they were pretty clean . It wasn’t crowded and I was able to use it right away. I changed into my swimsuit and enjoyed the pool. There are about 20 attractions that can be enjoyed by small children and adults. First, I decided to try the lazy river. You must use a designated float for the lazy river . The flow is faster than I thought, and just floating in it moves forward on its own. It’s more fun than I imagined. I enjoyed various other attractions. There was also a water slide like a roller coaster, but I was scared so I gave up. I also tried the artificial wave pool. Here too, a float is required in the deep area. I got a little sick from the strong waves. lol. It’s a theme park where you can enjoy it as if you were a child. There are many water slides that I’ve never seen before, and they are impressive. There are many lifeguards in various places in the pool, so you can feel safe. There was also a slide like this that falls 😨 Just looking at it makes me sweat 💦 Plants grow abundantly and you can enjoy the everlasting summer scenery. The shallow pool for children seems to be very popular. There were many families there and it looked like a lot of fun. We were given a free drink ticket when we got on the ropeway. We could choose between beer or watermelon juice. We decided to have the watermelon juice . Watermelon juice is the best after being exposed to so much UV rays . The little kids were playing enthusiastically and it was so cute ☺️ There are huge prawns growing in the park, which makes you feel the richness of nature. After enjoying the pool, we got hungry, so we decided to have lunch at a nearby restaurant. There are also several restaurants and cafes in the park where you can relax. We poured tropical tea into our drinks. It was a luxurious drink filled with plenty of tropical fruits such as watermelon, mango, and passion fruit. My husband ordered Vietnamese bun cha and I ordered banh xeo. It was delicious and filling. The dough was moist and it was filled with plenty of vegetables and meat inside, so it was very delicious. The restaurant was spacious and cool and comfortable. There are many other attractions to enjoy on this island paradise theme park. There are also white sand beaches and amusement parks, and I was very excited to play, but I was tired from playing in the pool, so I went back to the hotel. It was very fun to enjoy the unique world view that blends with nature. On the way back, we went to the souvenir shop. I heard that swallows are also famous for their nests. I head to the ropeway station. On the way to the ropeway, there were several souvenir shops. I collect magnets, so I look for cute designs. There are also many other local items for sale, such as T-shirts and objects made of shells. On the way back, we left early, so there were no crowds. During peak seasons, the return ropeway gets crowded from around 4 p.m. The ropeway is not always in operation. It is more efficient to check the timetable and water park opening hours before boarding the ropeway . In order to leave with momentum, The swaying sensation was like a roller coaster. It was a little scary for us who don’t like thrill rides lol. Looking at the island in the distance makes me feel sad somehow. There are many facilities that I couldn’t go to this time, so I would like to come and visit again someday. On the way back, I was able to see an exciting view. The sea sparkled and shone like a jewel. The emerald green sea was really beautiful. We gradually approached the mainland. The cable car stopped on the way and I was worried, but it started moving again soon and I was relieved. 😮‍💨 There were many fishing boats anchored in the harbor, which is also another highlight. The view of the city from here was also spectacular. We returned safely ♪ This may be the only place where you can experience a 15-minute aerial journey. There is also a souvenir shop near the exit . If you forgot to buy something, you can buy it here. When we went outside, the strong sunlight was shining down on us and the temperature gradually rose. It is essential to drink plenty of water to avoid heat stroke. On the way back, we returned to the hotel by Grab. A bus runs between the hotel and the ropeway station every 30 minutes. When I arrived at the hotel, I washed the swimsuit I had worn and hung it out to dry. One of the goals of this trip was to relax, so I spent some time relaxing in my room. It felt like my own room, and I was able to immerse myself in what I liked and clear my mind. By concentrating on something, my mind calmed and I naturally relaxed. As the sun was setting, I decided to go to the beach in front of the hotel. This hotel was directly connected to the beach, so it was very convenient to go back and forth in my swimsuit. In addition, the water is shallow, so it is safe for children. The white sand and crystal clear water are so good that it is also called the “Paradise of Vietnam.” Many people are attracted by its beauty, and some people even enjoy playing beach volleyball. You can also rent kayaks. From adults to children, everyone has their own way of enjoying the pool. I brought a swim ring because I couldn’t swim for long periods of time without one. The water was just the right temperature and it felt good. As the sun was setting, the sky started to change color . There was a shower nearby, so it was convenient to wash off the sand . Next, we moved to the pool. This area has a shallow area for children, and a variety of areas with deep water. Towels are available for rent, so you can use the poolside chairs freely. The pool is lit up at night, and the atmosphere is fantastic when it is lit up. I was hungry, so I changed clothes and headed out for dinner. I swam a lot today and used up more energy than usual. I decided to go to a restaurant near the hotel. It was an Italian restaurant called “Jo’s I came to “Cucina” and was greeted by a cute dog 🐶 The restaurant was empty so I was able to enter without a reservation The menu included pasta, risotto, meat dishes, and other dishes that all looked interesting The restaurant had a calm atmosphere and was very quiet We toasted with beer and original lemonade First, I ordered a Mediterranean salad The aroma of olive oil was very strong and made my appetite I was happy to be able to eat a lot of vegetables Next, I ordered a mixed fried seafood dish It contained various seafood such as shrimp, octopus, and squid It went perfectly with the special mayonnaise The octopus was chewy and very delicious Next, squid ink pasta! This one had squid ink kneaded into the noodles This pasta had a strong squid ink aroma and flavor in the noodles, and was chewy and delicious Finally, I ordered sauteed Iberian pork The meat was very soft and not greasy, and it was easy to eat I was very satisfied with the delicious food It was a very fulfilling second day,,🌃 The morning of the third day was a little cloudy, and the sound of the waves echoed throughout the air, making for a refreshing morning. Today, instead of going to the breakfast venue, I decided to eat what I had bought yesterday in my room. I bought yogurt at a nearby supermarket . Chobani yogurt is rich and has plenty of fruit pulp at the bottom, which I love. Gradually, the blue sky came into view, and the view was amazing. I had booked a spa at 10am, so I headed there before checking out. The spa is attached to the hotel, but is also available to non-guests. It is a building facing the sea, and is a little far from our room. First, we decided on a menu and filled out our chart. We changed into the designated bathrobe and received a 60-minute full-body massage. The facility was very It was a beautiful and relaxing space. I got a full body massage and it was the best time. My body felt so light. I felt like my lymph nodes were drained and my circulation was improved. The staff were also very kind and it was a spa I would like to visit again . I packed my bags and said goodbye to this room. Since the check-out time was 12 o’clock, I was able to relax until the end. Before going to the airport, I took Grab to my last destination. I went to a pearl farm near the airport. Phu Quoc is very famous for pearl farming and it is a specialty product. After about 30 minutes by car, my destination came into view. This is the pearl farm “Ngọc” which was built in 1994 in collaboration with a Japanese company. When you enter the facility, a guide will explain the history of the pearl farm and the types of pearls for free. I was able to see the scene of actually taking out the pearls from the shells. It’s amazing that such beautiful jewels are sleeping inside such shells. It was a rare and valuable experience. You can also see a corner of 15th to 17th century ceramics that were picked up from the bottom of the sea, and you can also see the carving of shell fossils. It ‘s quite mysterious to see the various shapes of things that were sunk to the bottom of the sea. Apparently these are two iron frying pans stacked together, fused together by seawater. It’s amazing that you can see this for free ! When many shell fossils are polished, this is what happens! ✨Beautiful It was a very valuable experience, and everything was interesting. At the end, you can actually buy pearl accessories. I bought some earrings here. The price depends on the size of the pearls, but some can be purchased for around 10,000 yen. I was very happy to be able to buy my favorite earrings. I wanted to have lunch at a nearby restaurant, but I didn’t have much time, so I decided to head to the airport. Marimekko’s Crocs are cute 🌼 The airport was very close to the pearl farm, so we arrived in about 5 minutes. The reception was very crowded at this airport, where domestic and international flights are integrated. We didn’t have any checked baggage, so we went straight to baggage inspection . There are several restaurants inside the security checkpoint. We went to BURGER. I decided to have lunch at KING. I ordered a set and it even came with ice cream 🍦 The volume of the Whopper was amazing . The meat was juicy and it was a dish that I wanted to eat heartily without worrying about calories. I chose the tartar chicken burger ✨ This was also delicious. It was a 2 night 3 day trip that went by in a flash, but it was very fulfilling and I enjoyed it. It was almost time to return to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, I took Vietjet. Phu Quoc Island is a resort area that can be reached in an hour from Ho Chi Minh City. It is a place with good value for money, rich in nature, and full of charm. It is the best paradise that can be enjoyed in various ways with family, lovers, and friends. Everyone should definitely visit it,, 💛 Thank you for watching until the end.
