【ストーブ列車】昭和にタイムスリップ編津軽鉄道で、冬の青森を旅する

Time slip to the Showa era! Travel through Aomori in winter on a stove train! The trip begins in Aomori Prefecture, famous for its apples. Hello everyone! I am here in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, in the middle of winter! Today we will travel along the Tsugaru Railway line on a stove train! Looks like a big crowd from the entrance. It is a weekday, but very popular. This time, I’ll go from Tsugaru Goshogawara Station to the final stop, Tsugaru Nakazato Station. The fare is the train ticket + stove ticket (1000 yen). There was a shop next to the ticket office, so I would like to buy something. Coal Cookies I’m curious to buy one. Surume, a specialty of the stove train, is also sold on the train, but it is recommended to buy it in advance as it gets quite crowded! Stove trains make three round trips a day between Tsugaru Goshogawara Station⇄ Tsugaru Nakasato Station Please wait for a while until the ticket gate time,. Now it is time to meet the stove train! This year marks the 95th anniversary of the stove train, which began operation in 1930 (by the way, this car is the fourth generation). This is a rare opportunity to ride on a train that has been running since the early Showa period in 2025. I am excited to see what kind of trip it will be! There are two stoves per car, so if you want a good seat, you’d better get in line early! We got a good seat in front of the stove! Coal What era am I looking at right now? In-car sales have also begun! In addition to surume, they also sell alcohol and tea! ! I started grilling squid! Woohoo! The entire interior of the car is filled with the scent of dried squid. I can’t wait to bake mine! A conductor-like person frequently comes to put coal in the stove Finally, the train trip begins! It is a place where everything you see has a nostalgic feel to it, so much so that you really feel like you have stepped back in time! This is my dried squid (I wonder if I can eat 1.5 of them lol) It moves and looks like a little monster. And the little monster torn to pieces My smoked squid is complete. I ‘ll have the hot, aromatic, freshly baked squid! Eating surume (dried cuttlefish) with a view of Tsugaru’s winter scenery on a stove train is very sweet! The view from the windows is in the middle of winter, but it is really warm around the stove and throughout the vehicle! The train arrived at Kase station. The train in the window of the car is the “Shingo Train” drawn by former SMAP member Shingo Katori for the “SMAP x SMAP” project. And this Kase station is said to be the hometown station of singer and actor Ikuzo Yoshi. I’m starting to feel like drinking anything,.., In-car sales came at a nice time! Buy Stove Alcohol(Japanese Sake) Ready to enjoy the second half of my train trip I will have drinks while enjoying karaoke by the attendant. Squid is quickly transformed into the best snack. (It’s funny to see my reflection in the bottle of alcohol as I struggle with the squid and eat it.) As a Japanese, you know that surume is a food that is hard to chew through, He put some coal in the stove. The taste is like a very refreshing sake that everyone can drink, with a rich rice flavor but also a cool, fruity aroma. Very tasty. I completely forgot about this one! I chose the concept of “snow on coal” out of three types of coal cookies! The inside is almost coal-colored and tastes like cocoa. It was fun, and the 40-minute train ride was coming to an end quickly. The final stop and destination is “Tsugaru Nakazato Station” soon. Arrival at Tsugaru Nakasato Station This is where we say goodbye to the stove train. Tsugaru Nakazato Station Now! From here, I will walk to a restaurant that I have always wanted to go to! This kind of ice-climbing road makes me want to do that… **University students are still children. While skiing, we arrived at our destination, Yayoi Sushi. The cat is here. Hello~ Struggling with the door As warm as a stove train Despite the fact that the set meals come with excellent sushi, they are super inexpensive (and highly rated)! Drinking sake and bottled beer from noon is a luxury today! To all of you watching this video, I hope you are having a great day. Cheers 🍺. While I was enjoying my first drink, the set meal arrived! This is a ramen set meal for 1000 yen (too cheap). Now that the food has arrived, I pull myself together and have another toast 🍻 Beer in the middle of winter is also great so I’ll have it 😋 This one, which obviously looks delicious, is probably medium fatty tuna! when it comes to eating This one was so good that I had to pull it out, really. Next, squid, not surume this time. The fact that it is crispy and elastic means it is fresh Next is my favorite, salmon! To be honest, the middle-fat tuna and other ingredients were excellent, so much so that the salmon was a bit hazy! Remember. that this is a ramen set meal, not a sushi set meal. The main ramen dish is a gently seasoned, refreshing soy sauce broth ramen🍜. As I was editing the video, I was thinking that I was in Aomori (Tsugaru) in the middle of winter, drinking alcohol from noon, eating ramen and sushi, I am really glad that I have been able to have such a good experience. I am so glad I love to travel! I love Tohoku in winter too, though I visit every year, A winter sky and a silver world of white all over, the somewhat lonely and nostalgic scenery of the countryside where not a single person is to be found is a wonderful winter scene of Japan. I hope it will not be defeated by global warming and that we can continue to see it in future generations! It was the best lunch I’ve ever had! Thanks for the food 😋. One more stop, a candy store for a snack. Mr. Idol. Is it a symbolic candy store in town? Let me interrupt you~. Inside the store is a candy store with old-fashioned game consoles and chairs And they make snacks and refreshments at crazy cheap prices, so you can have them freshly made! I already had my eye on it before I came to the store. Waiting for the finished product to look at a game machine that is not quite sure how to play. A very happy cartoon shelf for anime geeks. It seems that many people buy this bottle of cola to take home as a souvenir from the stove train, They drink it using a bottle opener attached to a stove train. Fried koala (my hands were so hot holding it lol) ☺️ It was freshly fried, so it was hot. The outside was crispy and the inside was rich chocolate cream! Delicious 🤤. That was a delicious meal It’s time to head to the station for the return train. How was this trip “Tsugaru Stove Train, olden times Slip”? I arrived at the station. I seemed to be right on the border of the weather! When snow falls in a clear sky, it sparkles like diamonds, it’s beautiful✨. On the way back, we will take a regular train home! That’s all for today’s video! Thank you for watching!
