🇹🇷 Kaş – Turkey’s most beautiful city with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea
Kaş is one of the coziest towns in Turkey, 🇹🇷 which has become the center of attraction for the digital community. This is a completely different Turkey. Here, narrow cobblestone streets climb up the mountain, houses with colorful shutters and doors are buried in bougainvillea, stunning sunsets knock on every window, and concerts are held in the ruins of the amphitheater. In the off-season, Kaş turns into a quiet place where it is not boring, but calm and safe.
The closest airports to Kaş are in Dalaman and Antalya. You can get to the city from them by bus or transfer. The trip will be very picturesque with beautiful views: mountains, hills and a road winding along the sea.
In the past, Kaş was called Antiphellos and was an important trading port of ancient Lycia. Nowadays, the Lycian Way passes through the city. There are few historical buildings here, but you can stumble upon well-preserved Lycian tombs everywhere. The most notable is the Lion’s Tomb, located in the city center opposite the Demeti restaurant.
