ノルウェージャン アクア クルーズ船ツアー – 完全ウォークスルーツアー
Hello everyone. My name is Zach. I am the traveling man and today I come to you from onboard the Norwegian Aqua, the brand new cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise Line. And in this video, I’m going to give you a full tour of this beautiful ship from top to bottom, front to back, side to side. So come on if you’re ready. Let’s get this adventure around the beautiful Norwegian Aqua started. And we will start our tour of the Norwegian Aqua here on deck six in the very forward of the ship. Deck six is the lowest deck that’s a public space. So meaning where there are no stateaterooms, it’s just all guest public area where anyone can access. So the first thing we’re going to look at is the aqua theater and nightclub. And the aqua theater and nightclub is a very cool space because it is a transformative space, meaning during the day and the evenings, it’s going to be the main theater on board. It’s going to be where you can go to see performances. It’s of course the main stage on the ship. This is where they have the big mainstage production shows like the new print show that’s debuting on this ship. But they also transformed this space to be the nightclub. So they can actually push in the seating, it’s kind of like bleachers, and make this a nightclub. This becomes a huge dance floor out here. The theater is really nice. It’s really well designed, but of course it’s quite small for a ship as big as Aqua. So a lot of the performances that they do, they’ll have to do across multiple nights of the cruise just to make sure everyone has an opportunity to come in and see. But this is the Aqua Theater and Nightclub and it’s on deck six forward. We’ll also see it on deck seven and eight because there are multi levels of seating. And now we’ll walk through the elevator bank here on deck six and enter Penrose atrium. Penrose atrium is like the main heart of the ship. It’s also three levels. Deck six down here, but it also goes up to deck seven and eight, which we will see as we continue our tour. But right here on deck 6, you’re primarily going to find most of the deck to be the casino. And right over here in Penrose atrium, you do have the casino bar. There are some places to sit down here. And then this begins the casino. You see all the slots and various tables and games here. So, we’re going to begin walking toward uh Midship. And you see that the casino continues. And now we come to deck 6 mid and we’re going to come to the improv. The improv is another entertainment venue here on board the ship. And Improv has been made bigger here on board Aqua. It’s bigger than what it was on Prima and Viva. And if you’re someone who likes to go to comedy, this is where you’re going to find the comedy show each evening. They usually have about two shows a night in here. They also do some trivia in here, various game shows. So, this is sort of a multi-use space throughout the cruise. They also set this up for like an art auction throughout the cruise as well. So, this is Improv. And leaving Improv, you see more of the casino over there near the port side of the ship. We are going to walk through the aft elevator bank and around because there are several different venues here in the back of deck 6. The first of which will be the whiskey bar and the seating area for the whiskey bar. So, this is kind of like a lounge in here. You can think of it as a lounge with all the seating. And then the whiskey bar right back here. And the whiskey bar is flanked by a couple of different dining venues. The first being is the tanyaki restaurant. If you like to have some tanyaki, you can certainly do that here. Just a quick look inside of Hukai. You can see they have all the tables where you can sit around. And I’ve heard really great things about Huka. I’ve actually never eaten here myself, but it is a very beautiful venue. And I do like that they have the big windows over here on the port side. Leaving the Sukai, we’ll cross over to the starboard side of deck 6 here in the aft. And this is where we’ll find the Commodore room. Commodore room is one of the main dining rooms on board. There are two main dining rooms. The other main dining room is Hudson’s, which we’ll see up on deck 7, but here in deck six, you have the Commodore room. A little bit smaller than Hudson’s, but it is a beautiful space. And like in Huka, they also have some large windows over here. Now we will leave the Commodore room, walk past the whiskey bar, back here to the last area we’ll see on deck six. This is Swirl Wine Bar. This is a new venue here on the Aqua. It’s a small little space, but it’s a cool space, too. A very nice aesthetic in here. Very clean and modern aesthetic. This is only open in the evenings, usually after 400 p.m., at least on this cruise. But you can come back here and order some wine. They usually have some tablets set up on these tables. And you just come up and you can tell it whether or not you have the more at sea beverage package, and it’ll show you which wines you might be able to order. And then they’ve got great crew here who will help you get the wine that you’ve ordered. But this is swirl wine bar. Here on deck six in the aft of the ship. Now we’ve come up one level to deck seven. We’re in the aft and this is Hudson’s. Hudson’s is all the way in the back on deck 7. And this is the other of the main dining rooms. It’s a very beautiful dining room. It’s sort of circular and they have those huge windows here in the back. Gives you great views of the ocean as you sit and enjoy your meal. I really, really like Hudson’s. I really like being in here just because it does offer a good wake view off the back of the ship. But a really, really beautiful main dining room that is Hudson’s. And then as soon as you depart Hudson’s, you will come to Labistro. Labistro is a specialty restaurant. It is the French themed specialty restaurant. And this is a very beautiful dining venue. I do like the light colors that they use in here. And then, of course, the big chandelier that’s hanging in the middle of the room. And then exiting Labistro, we actually just walked across the way. The cool thing about deck 7 in the aft is it’s a lot of dining. There’s a lot of food. And the next dining venue we’ll come to is right across from Listro. This is Nama. This is the sushi and shashimi restaurant. Also specialty, so it will be additional charge. You can see you can sit here and actually watch your food being prepared. They do have many different tables of varying sizes for you to sit as [Music] well. So, nice little dining venue, not the largest, so if you do want to eat at NA, I encourage you to make your reservations early. Now, heading toward midship here on deck 7, we will come to Metropolitan. Metropolitan is a bar and lounge double and it’s a very beautiful bar and lounge I might say very nice aesthetic in here and in the evening they of course dim the lights and they have live music in here and it’s a very very lively atmosphere a lot of people love to be back here so I encourage you if you are selling on Aqua to come back here one night grab a drink have a seat enjoy some live music and then just across from Metropolitan will be Kagny Steakhouse house. Another dining venue. This is a specialty restaurant. Probably the premier specialty restaurant. This is the one that everyone wants to make, but Kagnes is, as the name suggests, the main steakhouse on board. So, it’s the place to come to get those steaks and salads and soups. A really, really good restaurant. And I really like the aesthetic, too, with the green in here. And this is a little bit bigger than Kagney has been on some of the other Norwegian ships. And then right beside Metropolitan, we’ll find the humidor, which is the cigar lounge on board. If you’re someone who likes to have a cigar, you can come here and do that. This is all enclosed, of course, so no smoke is going to be bothering any other guests. So, if we turn that way, we could go back to the elevator bank and the aft of deck 7, but we’re going to continue toward midship. And we’ll start to get into some shops. And it’s still early here. I think we’re about 6 minutes before the shop’s opening. But just wanted to quickly show you they do have a duty-free shop here. This where you can buy things like cigarettes, they got alcohol, and all those items duty-free. They also have some convenience items. So, think like little snacks and uh cookies and they’ve got Kleenex and certain medicines that you might need. They have toothpaste in case you forgot that. And then right beside the duty-free shop is just the what I call the general store cuz they have general merchandise, uh, Norwegian branded merchandise, shirts, hats, magnets, little things for the kids. They got some coloring books and things that you can get. And then this shop here where they have an assortment of handbags and clothing. A little bit more upperend clothing though than in the general store. It’s not the Norwegian branded clothing. And then right across from there is Sid Norman’s Pore House. And this is a another entertainment venue. This is a very popular entertainment venue on board the ship. The cool thing about Sid Norman is they have live music here every single night of the cruise. Very lively live music. I know this is a very popular venue for folks. It’s always u packed in here anytime they have a show. I know that they have karaoke in here sometimes. So, a really cool venue that’s very well utilized here on the Aqua. And then leaving Sid Norman’s, we will continue to walk through deck 7 for the front of the ship. We’ll pass more shops, some purses, and some jewelry. And then they also have some sunglasses up here, watches. So you can pretty much buy anything that you might want. You know, typical things that you would expect on a cruise ship. That’s what they have here. They have an FE shop. Now, we’ll make our way back into the Penrose Adrian, but this time on deck 7. This is where we’re going to find, first of all, the short excursions desk. This is where you can come and make your short excursions or get help with short excursions you might have made before the cruise. And then right next to that is the cruise next desk where you can come and make reservations for your next cruise before you’re even off of this one. And they do offer various promotions throughout the cruise where if you book now, you might save money on your next cruise. They also have a beautiful seating area here besides some floor to ceiling windows. I really like to come over here because it’s up close and personal to the ocean and we have quite the boisterous ocean out there this morning. Then you have the Starbucks. Very popular this morning cuz it’s only 9:00 a.m. when I’m filming this. The Starbucks is available. It is at an additional cost though. They do have a Starbucks beverage package that is kind of all-inclusive if you want to purchase that, but you do have to pay additional. Starbucks is not included with your cruise. Then they have an area of seating here in the middle, but we’ll cross the atrium to show you a couple more desks here. The onboard credit desk and then guest services. Those three will come for general information or different needs that you might have throughout the cruise. the lovely folks here will be able to help you. And then another seating area over here. And they’ve got some tables over here with some plugs. So, I’ve been seeing a lot of folks come here and work, use their laptops and things to um do any work that they might need to do back home. We will continue through the atrium and cross through the elevator bank here on deck 7 forward which is going to take us to Aqua Theater and Nightclub again. But this is the deck seven level. So this is just additional seating a little bit higher up. Now we come up one level to deck eight here in the very forward of the ship where we see the continuation of the aqua theater. This is the upper level seating. So we’ll just show you how high up that is from the floor. And you can actually see cuz they have all the lights on now. We can see the entire theater. A very beautiful theater. And I do like that it is multi-purpose. They can use this for the theater, but they can also move all these seats back just like bleachers and make it a space for a nightclub and to have other events in here. I think that’s really neat how they utilize it for so many different things. But it’s amazing how different the seats look. I thought they were red because I’ve only ever seen this with the lights off. But this is Aqua Theater starting here on deck 8 forward. And we’re going to continue our walk around Deck 8. A lot of stuff to show you on deck 8. Deck 8 is one of the most exciting decks to me on board the whole ship. And I’ll show you exactly why that is. But now entering once again the Penrose atrium. You see you do have the stairs over here where you can go down to deck 7 and and lower. But looking out over Penrose atrium, of course, as we said, you can see deck six down below deck 7 there. There’s also several shops here on deck 8. There’s an Effie shop here, a large Effie shop. There’s a watch shop. Couple of different jewelry shops. There’s a beauty shop over here. So, just a lot of shopping available on this ship at various different places. But we’re going to cross over to the port side of the atrium where you can see the Belvadier Bar. And this is a very popular bar in the evenings because it is here in the atrium. So, there’ll be a lot of people out here getting a drink and hanging out. And if we walk back behind here, there are a few seats back here, but you can come hang out over here and have great views of these windows that we saw on deck 7. You can actually see down to deck 7 right there. And then right beside that, we do have is another specialty restaurant on board. This is the Italian ery. It’s a very beautiful restaurant. We’ll take a quick look inside here. And the cool thing about the specialty restaurants that we see here on Deck 8 is they all have an outdoor area where you can sit too. And we’ll see that when we go out and see Ocean Boulevard in just a moment, but you can sit inside or outside at on. Yeah, we can see this window here. You can see the tables that are outside. But this is a nice restaurant. A lot of space. They’ve given it a lot of space here on deck gate. But it works very well. It’s very nice to come from the beautiful atrium into such a beautiful restaurant. But now we’re going to go from port side over to starboard side. Start to make our way toward the middle and aft sections of Decade. Circling around the shops that we saw a minute ago. And one thing I’ll note right here, you’ve probably seen these boards a lot in my shots, but these are interactive boards that you can come up to and do many different things. You can explore the ship. You can get deck plans. You can make dining reservations. Uh there’s entertainment schedule, spawn fitness offerings, the freestyle daily if you want to see what’s going on anywhere around the ship. You can see you can actually tap your card here. That’ll make it more personalized for you and be able to make reservations and things. But just wanted to show that because these are everywhere. And here’s one that’s actually showing the freestyle daily and what’s going on around the ship this morning. One cool thing that they’ve done here on Aqua is they’ve added some nice seating area on deck 8 right here through the sort of the main throughway here as you go from the forward portion to midship portions of deck 8. But it’s these little window seats that they’ve added. Now we’re getting into the portrait gallery or the art gallery here. You see they actually have a little consultation office here that you can go inside of. and another one right here. But a lot of art they have here that you can purchase and take home with you. And then from the art gallery comes the photo gallery. This is where you can come and see the photos that have been taken of you throughout the cruise. They have some kiosks here that’ll let you do that. They also sell things. So if you need any type of camera equipment or batteries or SD cards, they have those available. They have lanyards here if you’re someone who likes a lanyard. They actually have um don’t know if they’ll be able to see this. It’s through the case, but they have Norwegian Aqua lanyards that you could put your key card in. They have this imagination wall here. You can get in front of it and take different pictures. They use augmented reality or AR to do that. You can tap your card over there to start. Yeah, the little video here will show you different things that you can do. So, you can bring your friends and your group back here and have some cool, interesting videos and pictures made of you in front of this imagination wall. And then more kiosks are found back here. Now we’re getting toward the middle of deck 8 where we’re going to find a couple of eeries. First being the local bar and grill. You see it here, but we’re also going to cross over to the port side of the ship on deck gate mid because this is the main entrance to the local. So there’s two different areas. is you can go to the bar which we just saw where you can come over to this side on port side and actually be sat at a table and sit down and enjoy your meal. The local is included in your cruise fair. And then right here is Los Slobos. Los Slobos is a specialty dining. It’s a specialty Mexican restaurant. This is a smaller dining venue compared to some of the others on board the ship. Hi. Good morning. [Music] And there is an entrance to Ocean Boulevard here. So you can go outside and check that out, which we will in just a moment. But we are going to head back over here to the starboard side and continue walking toward the aft. Basically, if you want to be walking front to back on deck 8, you’re going to have to be on starboard side. That’s where your the main walkway is from the front to the back of the ship. But now we’re entering the local bar portion, but there are a lot of tables in here. You can come in here and sit also and a server will come and help you and get you food. We see we walk right over there. We’d actually be in the seated portion of the local. They also have this big screen here where they’ve been playing sports and uh anything people might be interested in watching on their cruise. They’ve had it here. And they have the bar over here. I think this is a beautiful location though. It has been updated here on Aqua. Looks a little bit different than it has on some of the other ships. They have more TVs back here where they do play sports. or not just sports. I don’t think it’s limited to sports, but most of the time they have sports on. So, if there’s a big game going to be happening while you’re going to be on Aqua, I think you can come back here and watch that. Now, we’re headed into one of my favorite places on the entire ship, and this is Indulge Food Hall. And you talk about good, tasty food on a ship, you’re going to find it back here at Indulge Food Hall. I do like that they’ve added some tables right as you enter Indulge, because Indulge can get very, very crowded, especially on a C day. for lunch. It’s going to get so packed back here. So, I’m glad they added the additional tables. Also like that you can sort of see some of the food being prepared right as you walk in. And then all the food stations are open and there are so many different food venues, places you can get food from in here. I think there’s probably six or seven different eeries and a lot of different places to sit. And essentially how Indulge works, you see the tablet right here. You can actually pull up on here all the different options for food in here and everything’s included. I’ll say that. But you can be at your table or booth or wherever you’re sitting in here and you place your order on here and a server will bring you your food from these different food locations where the food’s being prepared right to your table. It’s so full and the food is, like I mentioned a couple times already, delicious. I think it’s my favorite place to eat on the whole ship and that includes specialty restaurants. I just cannot get enough of indulge. I’ve eaten It’s a 10 night cruise we’re on and I think I’ve eaten dinner here at least half of those nights if not more. And you see just all the different seating and how distinct and different it is. And it changes as you walk throughout because like this is the Latin Quarter. So things are a little bit more themed to Latin Quarter right [Music] here. And then over here you see it sort of changes again the vibe and aesthetic. [Music] I promise you’ll love it. There’s food for everybody because it’s such a large selection. Also in the back back here there is a bar, the Luna Bar. Interestingly enough, Luna will be the name of the newest ship that comes after Aqua. So, I always think of that when I’m back here at Luna Bar. They do have little hand wash stations both at the front with all the entrances. So, right here, we’re about to go outside here. You could come in this way, but also in the front entrance as well. We are going to head outside cuz there is a lot of outdoor seating a part of indulged food hall in addition to another bar right here just outside. But I really like all this seating out here on the very back of the ship. A very serene place to come and hang out and get a great view of the wake back behind us. We’re now going to begin our tour of the outside portion of Decade. And it seems like there’s just as much stuff to see out here as there was on the inside. But we’ll start with these. Like I said, outdoor seating for indulge. They do set the tablets at some of these uh tables over here. They’ve got them all moved, bunched together right now just because of the weather. They’ll separate them this afternoon, I’m sure. We’re starting on the starboard side of the ship and then we’ll check out the port side in a minute. But first thing you see, this is the infinity beach section and this is kind of like an extension of the main pool deck. You can think about it like that because they have some loungers out here. And what I will say about the loungers on this ship is they are premium. They are deluxe. Like look at this. It’s like a little bit of padding on there even. And then they have the uh padded headrest. You just don’t get that. This is different than the other mainstream cruise lines. I’ve never seen louners so nice that are public access louners. Like anyone on the cruise can sit at these loungers. They also have chairs uh also with that padded material just like the loungers right over here next to the wall. But the Infinity Beach section features a couple of little dayb bed louners right here that are in the water, so you can put your feet in the water to get to those. But it also features an infinity pool right here, right up next to the edge of the ship. And you also have just a stunning view when you’re out here. If you’re hanging by this pool or hanging in any of these chairs, I mean, you can just see the beautiful aqua extending high up above you. And this is actually mirrored on the other side. So, continuing toward the forward on deck 8 starboard side ocean Boulevard, you come to this Norwegian Aqua piece of art, we’ll call it. And it’s actually a good place to come and get photos. I’ve seen folks laid on this, laid across it, sprawled on it, getting photos made throughout the week, but they do have Norwegian Aqua up on it. So, it’d be a great place to come and get some shots. And one thing different about Aqua versus Prima and Viva, they don’t have as much art right here on deck 8 as they had on those ships. Actually, that’s like the only art installation. They don’t have any of the other little statues and things that were on the older ships. It’s just more seating now. And Aqua is 10% larger than those ships. So, a lot of the lounges and things that we’ve seen are bigger than the lounges on those other ships. So, if maybe you saw one of those and didn’t have a great opinion of it, I encourage you to come try Aqua because it is different. I love to be out here. I love the connection with the sea that you can get out here. You’re up close and personal to the ocean. Now, we’re going to walk across the ocean walk name so because it is a glass walkway. So, we’re walking well right over the ocean. You can see the waves down below me. Kind of daunting the first time, but if you can brave it and do it a couple times, it’ll be like nothing. It can get a little bit slick if it’s rainy or if you got a lot of sea spray on it. So, just be careful and use the handrails. We now jumped over to the port side of Ocean Boulevard deck 8. And like I told you, we have a mirrored infinity beach section. You can see the same lounger daybed type situations with the infinity pool back there, but different over here. They didn’t have a slide over there. We have a slide over here. And we’ll see the slide when we get up to deck 18 where it starts, but the slide ends right here. This is the ending point of the drop slide. So, just imagine if you’re up on deck 18 and you realize, oh, I want to go down to deck 8 and do something. Well, hop on the slide and come on down. And I told you here on deck 8, we would see some outdoor seating for some of the restaurants. That includes the local. Like I said, the local’s included. You don’t have to pay any additional to dine at the local. It’s not specialty dining, but they do have an outdoor seating area out here. Uh, so I think if you’re selling in warmer climates, this would be a great place to come and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the local. And then coming right around here, we’ll see the outdoor seating area for Los Lobos, which is the specialty Mexican restaurant. So, plenty of places to sit. I think Los would be one that would be perfect just because it’s Mexican cuisine. It’d be great to sit outside if it’s warm weather. And then right in front of that is the outdoor seating area for Ona. So I told you a lot of things to see out here on Decade on the Ocean Boulevard. From outdoor seating for the specialty restaurants and other restaurants. There’s also outdoor seating for the local and indulges we saw to the infinity beach area and the pools to the ocean walk. And now we’re going to look at one more thing. Maybe one of my favorite things that’s on Ocean Boulevard, but we’re going to look at Latera. If we can brave the ocean walk one more time. This one’s a little bit slicker than the one on the other side. But this is going to be Laterza up here. And you can’t really see much of it right now cuz they’ve got all the seating moved away. But I’ll put in some other clips here of when they did have the seating out just because of weather. They’ve had to protect the seating as much as possible. But you see this beautiful seating area, these nice wood panels. They have this little cove here even. This is a great place to come and hang out, especially if you have like an interior stateateroom and you want to have a place where you can go and kind of have quiet. It’s very quiet, very serene up here cuz we are in the very forward of decade on the Ocean Boulevard. Here you can see some of the seating that they have, but the seating area has been expanded a bit here on Aqua. It is a little bit bigger and they do include very premium style seating with these little loungers and things that they have out here. They also have some little binocular stations so you can check out where we’re selling and what we’re headed into. But this is Latera and this will complete our tour of the Ocean Boulevard here on deck 8. So let’s head back inside now. So here on deck 16 in the very ford of the ship. The only public guest access here will be Mandera Spa and Salon. This is the main spa on board and also the location of the fitness center. So, take a quick peek [Music] inside. Now, we’re on deck 17 forward. And there are quite a few things on deck 17. One of the first interesting things that you’ll see though here as you’re walking toward the very fort of the ship is a ship model. A very nice ship model. It’s very detailed, too. So, if you’re someone who likes ships, you might want to come and take a look at this. It’s also a good way to get oriented with all the different outdoor decks and things as they’re all listed here. So, really neat. But we’re going to go into the observation lounge. The observation lounge is one of my favorite places on the ship. It is certainly one of the most beautiful places on the Aqua. You can see there’s just a lot of seating in here. You can think of this like a lounge, but it wraps all the way around the front of the ship. You have these floor to ceiling windows in here where you can come and get spectacular views of the sea. And I think it’s great anywhere you’re selling. This is the uh maiden voyage. We’re doing a transatlantic, so there are no stops, but it’s still nice to come and get the same view every day, you know, to get to see the ocean. Right over here, we have a bar. I’m filming this early in the morning, but typically this bar is open pretty much all day and night long. And coming around to the front, you can see even more seating. They got some sofas in here, and they have a good view off the very front of the ship. They’ve also set up a jigsaw puzzle in here that folks have been putting together this cruise. Then if you come around here toward the port side, you see that they actually have a little buffet set up. And during the day, they’ll have snacks in here and drinks and juices and coffees and things. And then coming back around the other side, you see the continuation of the observation lounge. But a very neat space. I just enjoy coming up here at all times of the day, seeing what’s going on. Usually quite a few people in here. And now we will exit the observation lounge and go into our next venue which is right next door. This is the Aqua Game Zone. And as the name suggests, this is an arcade. It’s a pretty neat arcade. So if you’re someone who likes to play in an arcade on a cruise or maybe you got some little ones that do, I think this would be fantastic. And you can see the wide assortment of games that they have in here. Do just a quick walk around so you can get an idea of what they might [Music] have. This arcade is a bit different on Aqua than it was on some of the other ships. They’ve uh made some adjustments to the game offerings in here, but I think it looks great. I think it’s one of the best looking cruise ship arcades that I’ve seen on any cruise [Music] ship. And then even more games back here in this back corner right here. So this is the Aqua Game Center here on deck 17 forward just beside the observation deck. This little tunnel is cool, too, that has animations and things as you walk through it. Very nice, very interactive space. And now we’re going to walk outside here on deck 17. Deck 17. Very exciting. There’s a lot of things on deck 17. Of course, one of the key points on the entire ship is here on deck 17. And that is the main pool deck. And the main pool deck here on Aqua is beautiful. They have put additional thought into the main pool deck. They’ve expanded the size of the pool. doesn’t have any water in it this morning because we were having rough seas this cruise as we come across the Atlantic, but a nice very large pool here. They’ve also got these very plush louners and we saw those on deck 8, but also here on the main pool deck. They’ve also got some larger louners over there. And they of course have a big screen TV here right up above the pool and they’ve got this going day and night. And then there are two hot tubs here on the main pool deck, one on each side of the ship. So, we’re over here on port side. Here’s the hot tub over here. And then here in the middle, just behind the pool, is the Waves pool bar, which as the name suggests, is the pool bar, the main pool bar here on the ship. And then we’ll come over here and see that there is some outdoor seating. This is a sort of an extension of the buffet over here, which we’ll see in just a minute. The Surfside Cafe, Surfside Grill. This is also uh labeled as Palomar, and we’ll see Palomar on the inside in just a minute. Palomar is the specialty seafood restaurant. But they have this all set up for buffet guests to come over here and have a seat. This is kind of like overflow seating. And we’ll walk around back over here to Starboard side and see the Surfside Cafe. And see right outside here, you have more seating. So, a lot of places, a lot of tables to sit outside, to bring your food outside. You don’t have to be inside all the time. And that’s one of the cool things that Aqua does. I think it brings folks outside. There’s so many spaces, so many places to be outside. It’s one of the reasons that I like this ship so much. So, now we are headed into the buffet. You can see a lot of seating on the inside here. Take a closer look at some of that right over here up against these windows. Have good views of the ocean while you enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The buffet, of course, open three times a day for each of those meals. And currently they’re getting ready for breakfast here. Got a lot of good offerings set out. We are going to exit the buffet here about midway through it. There’s a cut across where you can come over here to the starboard side, which we’re going to cross to because this is where we’re going to see a couple of specialty restaurants. And there are a lot of specialty restaurants on board. A lot of restaurants on this ship. The first being Palomar. Palomar we saw just a bit ago over on the other side or at least the outdoor seating. It’s a specialty seafood restaurant on board. Mediterranean type food. Really, really good restaurant. I really have enjoyed Palomar. And then over here is a brand new restaurant. And this restaurant is Sakotai. It premiered debuted here on Aqua and it is a specialty Thai restaurant. But you do see that they have some coffee, juices, and tea set out in here. They also use this as expanded seating for the buffet. I dined at Cotai a couple days ago and I really enjoyed this. I think it’s a great addition to Aqua. And again, to eat in a specialty restaurant with nice big windows like this and you’re high up on deck 17 so you can look out and get amazing views of the ocean. I just think it’s really, really neat. We jump right back into the Surfside Cafe or the buffet just to show you the remainder of it. So, a lot of stations for food, many places to sit, and of course, we did see a lot of overflow and outside seating, so we shouldn’t have an issue finding a table. Probably busiest in here at lunchtime cuz some people are most concentrated. Then back here, this is the Surfside Grill. At lunchtime, they’ll have hamburgers and hot dogs and things at dinner time as well, but it’s just sort of an extension of the buffet with, of course, more seating. But leaving Surfside Grill, we’re going to head here on the back of deck 17 as far as we can go at least, is Vibe Beach Club. And Vibe Beach Club is an exclusive access part of the ship. So, you do have to pay for a Vibe Beach Club pass to be able to have access. But this is very nice. This is an exclusive experience. They do capacity control this. So only a limited number of people can have access to Vibe throughout the cruise and I think they said something like 60 have it this cruise. So it’s very exclusive filling. Of course they got these plush loungers and seating. And I’ve been using these loungers every day. They are very very nice, very padded, very luxurious. They also have umbrellas that they can raise when it’s very sunny out. And then they have two hot tubs, one on both sides. So, we’ll have a look at that. They got the netting up over it right now. But this is very nice. I hung out here the other day. The seas were rocky. It was kind of rainy kind of like it is now. Very gloomy, but I really enjoyed it just because of the ambiance back here. And then another thing they have back here is a bar. And this bar, again, just exclusive to the guests that are staying in Vibe. And they have a nice waterfall feature that they’ll turn on when the vibes open. I’m here early, so it’s not actually open. They also have some cabanas that you can rent. So, just a very nice area. The Vibe Beach Club back here on the back of deck 17. And while we’re in Vive, I’ll show you back here into the back of decks 16 and 17. This is the haven area. So for guests staying in a suite on board the ship, they have access to the Haven and there’s the Haven sund deck back here, these two levels. So this is exclusive to sweet guests. So we don’t have access back here, but they just want to show you that private area back here for them. And it’s adjacent in a way to Vibe, but they’re not connected at all. And right here beside Vibe, you can see sort of a sneak preview of where we’re headed next cuz we’re going to go up to all the fun that’s located on decks 18 and above. Now, I will say I’ve been hanging out for about 6 days now back here in Vibe. You do hear a bit of noise coming from everything up here when you’re relaxing back here in Vibe. So, uh that might be a consideration for you or not. I don’t know. But just wanted to let you know that there is a little bit of noise coming from uh deck 18 and above down here in Dubai Beach Club. But we’re going to quickly go up the stairs here and start to show off all the things that there are to see up here. We’ve already seen so much on this ship. You might be wondering how there can be more, but all of the uh quote unquote fun stuff is uh up here. Starting with the Bullseye Bar. It’s on the very back of deck 18 back here. And what’s cool about this, they have darts over here, like an interactive dart board that you can play. And as I understand it, this is included. This is free. You don’t have to pay additional to use this dart board. There’s one here, and there’s also one on the other side of the bar. The bar is open. Like I said, it’s early when I’m filming this, but the bar is open pretty much all day. And again, you’re on the back of deck 18. You can look over deck 17 down there below by Beach Club. We’re going to head around here starting on the port side of the ship. We’re going to find our first attraction. This is the drop slide. And this thing is a beast. You see the uh tube there that you can get in. You stand in it and then they drop the floor out from under you and you go down the slide down there all the way down to deck eight. So 10 decks just drops you. And I know that folks really enjoy this. Folks have been enjoying this all cruise long. Right beside that, we’re going to get into tea time. Tea time is the mini golf here on board the ship and it’s interactive as well. So, you actually uh you see they got the screens here on each of the little stations. And I’m not quite sure. I haven’t done it yet. I’m not sure what all it does. I just know that it’s very interactive and folks seem to love it. Now, you do have to pay additional for this. And at the time of filming this, I think the charge for this is about $5 per person to play. I do want to try it out in the next day or two though cuz it looks very exciting. Now, here the tea time on Aqua is themed after locations. So, there’s different countries and and US states, different destinations that you might even go to on a cruise, like right here. Well, this is themed after New York City, which is actually where this cruise is headed. And then London over here, which is near where we started in Southampton in the United Kingdom. There’s a station themed after Greece right here. And then one themed after the Netherlands right here. And that is tea time. And they have these little kiosk right over here, which is where I think you can get the equipment that you need in order to play tea time. And then they also have the uh all the different clubs right here that you can get. And then they have a leaderboard over here. So if you’re playing with your friends and you want bragging rights, make sure when you’re done, you can come over here and snap a photo showing that you beat your friends. And now we’re going to cross deck 18 over to the starboard side. And this is the stadium. And the stadium is just full of various outdoor games that you can play, different table games. There’s a couple of shuffle board games. There’s some cornhole back here. There’s stuff I’m not even sure what it is. They do have uh rules though that’ll tell you exactly what the game is and and what you’re supposed to do. And then even more over here, a true shuffle board right here. Right in front of us. They got the big game on sign up here. They also have a I get what I call table soccer, I guess, because you just sort of sit at the table and then there’s a soccer ball in there that you kick back and forth. They’ve got a table set up for beer pong. They’ve got a foosball table. They got some ping pong tables. So, just a myriad of different games that you might play. Bring the friends out here. And looks like a lot of good times to be had out here at the stadium. But that’s not even all of Deck 18. But to get to the other part of deck 18, we got to walk back across the main pool deck to get over there. So, I’m going to walk over there now and show you the continuation of deck 18. And now we’ve ascended deck 18 forward. Just an area of more seating, expanded seating section. They do have some very nice plush louners, kind of like what they had back on the main pool deck down there, but they have some of those up here. And these are for anyone to use, but very nice up here. And then here is a little play area for any little ones that might be traveling with you, some water features, and it is all enclosed. And then more seating over here on the starboard side of deck 18 forward. Now, we’re going to go over here and up the stairs to the highest deck on the forward section, which is deck 19, the sund deck up here. And it is incredibly windy up here. Every time I’ve been up here this cruise, there’s only been a couple times. It’s always been quite windy. And you see they’ve got all the chairs even locked down because of how windy it is. But I guess if we were in port or something, they would have chairs out here and just another place for you to come and enjoy yourself or to get really cool pictures of the main pool deck or across the way even the Aqua slide coaster which you can see over there. Taking another look down at deck 17, the main pool deck, the beautiful Norwegian Aqua. All right. So, now we’re going to go up to deck 19 here in the aft of the ship where even more fun awaits us. Yes, more things to do up here. Starting with the continuation of tea time. We saw a couple of those stations down there below us. And now here’s another one themed after Mexico. There’s one back here themed after Alaska. I really like this one. I took my first Norwegian cruise actually uh to Alaska. So that brings back good memories seeing this. Another view back here of Vibe Beach Club and deck 17. But we have more exciting things to see on deck 19. As we continue now toward the midship, first thing we’re going to pass is pickle ball. So they have a pickle ball course here if you’re someone who likes to play. And I think you can reserve the pickle ball court. Uh there’s a desk downstairs we saw on deck 18. It’s kind of like the entertainment hub if you have questions or need to book reservations, but they can help you. But now we’re going to come to the Aqua Slide Coaster. The first of its kind at sea because it is a hybrid roller coaster and water slide. You can see the rafts down there. You basically load into one of those and then this mechanical arm pushes you all the way up to the top of the hill very fast. It launches you rather and then you go through the tubes and all throughout the slides. I haven’t gotten a chance to do it yet, but I’ve heard it’s very exciting. And the line for that will just be right here is where you’ll line up. And then the ride itself actually ends right here above the main pull deck down there. Deck 17 that they end right here. Now, one complaint that people have had already on this cruise, the very first cruise for this ship is that there’s no way to access the main pool deck. There’s no easy way. There’s no stairs that connect deck 19 up here down to deck 17. You actually have to go the way we came. You have to go back down the stairs through the buffet and then across the pool deck over there. So, uh, one complaint that folks have had, a minor complaint. And as we continue to walk deck 19, you can see the Aqua Slide Coaster, which is very unique. Then up above us, we got the NCL logo cuz we are on the very top of the ship. Well, almost on the very top of the ship. We’re very close to being on the top of the ship, but we do have one more deck to go. There’s also a giant Connect 4 board here. So, plenty of things to be done outside. Hopefully, it’ll be warmer when you’re going to do those things, and it is right now. But now, we’re going to head up to deck 20, the highest we can go here. This going to take us to the glow court. And the cool thing about this ship is it has so many interactive experiences, so many things that you can interact with and and have fun with. And I think that’s very cool. It’s very forward thinking. But Glow Court is brand new, debuting on the Aqua. And they’ve got it locked right now, but I’ll just put the camera right here so you can see. So the cool thing about Glow Cord is, like I said, it’s interactive. So the floor comes alive. You can see stuff uh being displayed or projected on it right now. all the backboard back there, stuff being displayed on it. So, you play different games in here, not just basketball, but several other games that can be played. All interactive. You can bring your friends here. It just looks like a great place to come and have some fun. And again, not just basketball. Basketball is available, but it expands even beyond that. And I think that’s really cool. So, that’s Glow Court. And this is deck 20 in the aft of the ship. You have a good view of the Aqua Slide Coaster. You have additional seating back here. Then you have a great view provided if you want it of the very back of the ship, deck 17, Vibe Beach Club down below. And now we’ve officially explored it all. So, thank you so much for watching this video. I hope you’ve enjoyed it. If you did, please go down below, give me a thumbs up, consider subscribing to the channel. Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you on the next adventure.
In this video I’m taking you on a full tour of Norwegian Aqua, the newest cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise Line, and let me tell you—this ship is absolutely next level. From top to bottom, bow to stern, Norwegian Aqua is packed with some seriously insane features you’ve never seen before on a cruise ship.
From the Aqua Slidecoaster, the first-of-its-kind hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide at sea, to The Drop, a 10-story dry slide that shoots you down from the upper decks like a rocket, to the Glow Court, there are so many things to discover on Norwegian Cruise Line’s brand new cruise ship Norwegian Aqua.
Now if you’re more into chill vibes, Norwegian Aqua has you covered. The Vibe Beach Club is this sleek, adults-only space with infinity hot tubs, a full-service bar, and some of the most incredible panoramic ocean views I’ve ever seen on a ship. And let’s not forget about the Ocean Boulevard—it wraps all the way around the ship and includes Infinity Beach, where you can soak in pools that literally feel like they’re spilling into the sea.
When it comes to food, Norwegian Cruise Line really stepped it up on Norwegian Aqua. I had some incredible Thai dishes at Sukhothai, which is the cruise line’s first-ever Thai specialty restaurant. Then there’s Planterie, their first plant-based eatery—and even as a meat-eater, I was seriously impressed. Oh, and wine lovers? You’re gonna want to hit Swirl Wine Bar, where you can try premium wines by the glass in a super cozy setting.
Entertainment-wise, it doesn’t get much better than the Aqua Theater & Club. It’s a three-deck venue that goes from high-energy shows to a full-on nightclub after dark. And if you’re a gamer like me, you’re gonna love the Aqua Game Zone—they’ve got retro arcade games, VR experiences, and a bunch of interactive stuff that’s just plain fun.
So yeah, Norwegian Aqua isn’t just Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship—it’s their most ambitious and innovative one yet. Whether you’re here for the adrenaline, the food, the relaxation, or just the vibes, this ship has something for every kind of cruiser. 🌊🛳️
I set sail on Norwegian Aqua’s maiden voyage. Norwegian Aqua is a beautiful cruise ship and is an improvement on her sister’s Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva. Norwegian Cruise Line has created a beautiful cruising experience with their new ship Norwegian Aqua!

Hello Zach, luv your videos
So jealous! I board MSC World America next week!!
I’m on the Aqua in May….thanks for the tour!
Very nicely done Zach! My wife and I will be on the Aqua October 12-19 assuming her cancer treatments don't produce complications.
Looks so empty. . . almost like you are on with just a small group sailing like during reopening after the shutdown. It's just weird seeing no one in these areas even being early. It must have been SUPER early!! At the latest 7am I'm guessing. My favorite time to be up because it's so quiet compared to "breakfast" and especially lunch.
Nice Vibe area for sure.
So pretty on the top deck 17 I think, and that blue sky!!!!! Thanks Zach I really needed to see this, miss cruising but hopefully my husbands medical will get back to being able to cruise.
Appreciate your content. Cheers.
What a gorgeous ship! I’m booked on NCL Luna in 2026. This video makes me so excited!
"Green" does NOT belong in a Steakhouse. My opinion.
I am watching cause I have booked my first cruise on NCL Luna for 2027!
Excellent review
I appreciate your reviews. I haven’t seen any reviews of Carnival. What do you think of Carnival?
Love the detailed information on this video and how you tour from the lower to higher floors. Keep up the great work!

Going on the Aqua August 9th-16th!!!!
